Okay, but there are days when it's out of service.

We've eaten there twice already, had the fries with schnitzel and salad, which tasted quite good and was a fairly large portion. The service is also very good, and you can easily make changes to your order. =) However, my biggest criticism is that smoking isn't prohibited outside. On both visits, we repeatedly encountered smokers at neighboring tables who smoked continuously without any consideration, even for the children there. The last time, there was a large group of women sitting in the middle of the large table, and everyone just smoked. As a non-smoker who wants to enjoy their meal and time there in peace, this is simply a disaster. This kind of thing should be completely banned these days, and the restaurant could certainly enforce this house rule if they wanted to. Therefore, I ask you, dear Lago team, to ban smoking outside. This would make our stay there much more pleasant.

Beautiful location here by the Seepark in Freiburg. I had a short stay here. I was greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed delicious food.

It was also interesting to be there in winter with snow and a frozen lake. The waiters were all very friendly. The quality and preparation of the food is of a very high standard. We always enjoy coming back, not only because of the quality, but also because they use regional products. Keep it up!

Very nice restaurant right on the lake in the Seepark.

We sat in the beer garden in beautiful weather. The service was friendly, but seemed rather bored. No one asked if we were enjoying our meal or if we wanted anything else. She just came when we called out. The food was average and nothing special. The tarte flambée and sausage salad were okay, but the spaetzle with pork steak and mushroom cream sauce was unfortunately not so great. The steak was too dry, and the mushroom cream sauce was too thick and heavy. The prices were reasonable. The view of the lake was nice, though.

We had a "date" there once and have been happily married for 14 years now!!! The coffee was good too 👍🏻

The food is okay! Both the cakes and main courses are fine! Satisfactory value for money! Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with the manager! We as a family have already been treated very rudely/sent away twice! Dear manager, in the restaurant industry, it should be considered good manners to treat guests like kings! With you, one rather gets the impression that some guests don't matter to you. Perhaps it's because you think you can afford it because of the excellent lakeside location? What a shame!

Good food and a nice atmosphere, but one waiter in particular was very rude and condescending to a friend. The waiter had only politely addressed the waiter as "master," and the waiter responded very snippily with, "Not like that, we're not on a construction site," which left us somewhat speechless.

Great ambiance and food! Unfortunately, we were served by a very unfriendly employee. Wait times were also a bit longer.

Great spot to take a swim in the lake + the restaurant makes it even more convenient

Yesterday we ate at a really great place—right by a beautifully clear lake. We had salads with roasted turkey strips, apple spritzer, and a sorbet for the kid. The food was delicious and super fresh, and the portions were really generous. The staff was incredibly friendly. We'll definitely stop by again next time we're in town.

The vegetarian food tasted like a prepackaged meal. The prices are exorbitant. I won't be returning.

Probably the last time here... On Wednesday we were at the Lago am Seepark again. I ordered a sirloin steak with French fries for €26.80. This, however, was a complete disaster. Inedible. Riddled with tendons. You bit into it like rubber. When I complained to the waitress (who was very friendly, though), she took the plate and brought it to the manager to complain. Shortly afterward, she came back and said the manager told her that this was just the way it was. After all, it wasn't a fillet. There's nothing you can do about it! She offered me a coffee as "compensation." I declined, however. I wanted to enjoy a good piece of meat and not be fobbed off with a coffee. I myself work in the catering industry at a hotel. If a guest complains about such a poor-quality piece of meat, it's returned and the guest receives a new dish. We've eaten here several times (including ordering this steak several times). But I've never had such a poor-quality piece of meat! In any case, more than half of it was returned!!

We were there yesterday, Sunday July 20th, at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the waitress was completely rude and arrogant. We pushed two tables together without asking, which was perhaps a bit insensitive on our part, but by no means a reason to be disrespectful. He was totally annoyed and asked us to move. We wanted to stay by the window, however, so we pushed the tables apart again and told him we would split up between the two tables. He then said that his announcement was quite clear: we had to sit at the other table, but his tone was totally inappropriate and arrogant. When we asked him if he could have phrased it more politely, he said that he didn't need to; he had enough customers, he didn't depend on us, and we could just leave. Totally disrespectful to speak to customers, or to people in general, like that.

Very good service, good food, no waiting and a beautiful location

The food was average. We had a colorful salad plate and a sausage salad; both were okay, but nothing special. The portions were also large for the price. The service was friendly and quick, and the drinks and food arrived quickly. The ambiance, however, puts us off returning. While the outside might be okay, the interior of the restaurant has more of the feel of an exhibition hall. No decorations, no tablecloths, incredibly loud and echoey, simply not inviting. You wouldn't want to stay here for anything longer than a quick bite to eat. Conclusion: The food and service are okay, the ambiance could be improved.

I enjoy eating there. However, a young employee who cleans the tables was extremely abusive. The other employees were embarrassed by him.

Outstanding service and children are so warmly welcomed; the kitchen caters to even the smallest requests. There are also vegan dishes and the waiters are very friendly. Highly recommended!

We go to Lago every now and then, but this will probably be the last time. The food is basically okay. However, the tarte flambée with bacon and cheese was an imposition. Far too small for €12.80 and then not even good. For the sausage salad we asked for an additional plate which we had to pay an additional €1. That's an impudence in my opinion. For me, the additional plate is part of a good service. The view of the lake and the area is nice, but I also have that in the beer garden next door.

We attended a birthday party with 10 people at Lago. The service was very fast, friendly, and competent. Nothing to complain about. The food arrived quickly, at the same time, and warm. The portions were plentiful, so no one went home hungry. The taste wasn't bad either. In short: We were all satisfied and would gladly return.

This wasn't our first time at Lago, but this will probably be our last. The food is generally decent, the service not unfriendly, but not at all attentive. On every visit, we were largely ignored, not offered a menu, and not even asked if we'd like a drink or dessert. It gets uncomfortable when tables are being cleared around us at around 8:30 p.m., even though the restaurant is open until 11 p.m. Unfortunately, the staff prefer to stand at the bar and chat rather than check on the guests. It's a shame.

Very great, clean atmosphere with lots of great pictures right at the Seepark. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly. Plenty of portions which are really homemade and prepared with fresh ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

Great location, right on the lake. Cozy and clean. Friendly service, attractive menu plus daily menu. Cakes are made in-house, look great and are definitely tried. The salad with an incredibly delicious dressing and the homemade meatballs with creamed savoy cabbage to put on. Plus nice and friendly service, what more could you want. Lago directly at the Seepark is absolutely worth a visit, it wasn't the last time we were there :-)

We spontaneously went here for lunch on a Sunday. The food (tagliatelle with red pesto and lentil flakes) was delicious. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow and brought me the wrong drink (despite asking twice). It was busy but not overly crowded. All in all perfectly fine

Were there at lunchtime and decided to eat something. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which I always appreciate in a restaurant. Portions are generous and delicious.

A super nice restaurant with an excellent ambience. The quality of the food is very good and the portions are quite large. The young and open-minded service team is very polite and helpful. We didn't have to wait long until we were served and our food was ready to eat. Our good experience here justified the impressive prices. Overall, I can definitely recommend the Lago. It's a shame, we just wanted to eat and drink something delicious with our dog and weren't allowed in. Chairs/tables on the terrace that had already been locked at 6 p.m. that would have been covered in the rain were no longer opened when we asked, so unfortunately we had to leave again. Not really hospitable, so no sales for you.

The food was cold and expensive.

Tolles Servicepersonal und schöne Lage. Das war es aber auch schon. Das Essen war nicht genießbar, Tagliatelle nicht gesalzen und verkocht, das Schnitzel nicht durchgebraten und es schmeckte nach altem Fleisch, das Paprikapesto bestand einfach aus Paprikapulvergewürz….Und dazu unverschämt teuer. Mein Fazit: nie wieder.

Good service, nice service, and nice ambience at the Seepark, you just have to be careful at some tables because there is a gutter above them and a sparrow likes to do its business there :D but otherwise everything was great

Simple outside area/beer garden. Super fast service, we hardly sat down and the food came within a very short time after ordering. Prices also ok considering the portions: Spaetzle with more sauce than I could eat and the green salad was huge. Fries and schnitzel - the schnitzel took up half of the plate. We liked it and enjoyed it:

We were there with 5 adults and were quickly seated at a table. The first intake of our drinks was also quick, but the intake of the food was quicker than we had our drinks. The food sometimes came before the drinks. We sat there with empty glasses for over half an hour, our plates were cleared away when our glasses were already empty, but we were still not asked for new drinks. There was probably enough time for a nice chat with colleagues. When we were finally able to reorder, we waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. Paying was the icing on the cake, we asked each other to pay, it was of course assumed that we would pay together, when I asked to pay separately the waiter left and didn't come back straight away. Then we wanted to start paying, but before anyone could pay he left again. My son, who was just 12 months old, spilled his cup, which was only answered with a stupid “joke” and was cleaned up in annoyance. His eye roll when we didn't tip for the service was the last straw for not visiting the Lago am Seepark anymore.

Das Essen im Lago am Seepark war in Ordnung und die Portionen waren groß, jedoch war der Service enttäuschend. Wir saßen über eine halbe Stunde mit leeren Gläsern da, obwohl wir gerne noch etwas getrunken hätten. Das Personal schien lieber an der Theke zu plaudern, anstatt sich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Als wir endlich nachbestellen konnten, warteten wir weitere 15 Minuten auf unsere Getränke. Das Bezahlen gestaltete sich ebenfalls schwierig, und der Kellner war genervt, als wir getrennt zahlen wollten und hat uns erneut warten lassen. Sein augenrollen, als wir kein dann kein Trinkgeld für den miesen Service geben wollten, war der letzte Tropfen um das Lago am Seepark nicht so schnell wieder zu besuchen. Schade.

The order was received quickly. Unfortunately, some of the food came before the drinks. The strawberry cake tasted good. However, we sat at the table with empty glasses for over half an hour and had to point out to the waiter that we wanted something more to drink, as a nice chat with our fellow waiters was probably preferred. We also waited another 15 minutes for these drinks. Paying the bill also took some time because the waiter was not prepared for the fact that the bill could also be paid separately. We didn't want to give a tip for this service, but you could see the displeasure on the waiter's face because he rolled his eyes because he didn't receive a tip. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting the Lago again for the time being, as you can at least expect friendly and good service for the rising prices for drinks and food.

Even though the weather was good, they left half of the outside tables locked. As a result, we and many other guests were unable to take a seat. After asking the service, we were told to choose a table. When we replied that everything was occupied except for the closed tables, he said we should just wait. So for 4 service staff are the 4 additional tables too many or what? I also worked in the catering industry for years and served the size of this terrace by myself every day. It's a shame actually...

View of the lake is really nice. We didn't eat anything. Just wanted something to drink for a short break. Were not really given a friendly reception and were treated condescendingly. We were shuffled from one table to the other because he apparently needed a large table for 6 people. There were 4 of us. The restaurant was empty and there were enough seats. The first and last time I was here.

Went to dinner at Lago yesterday. When I asked for half a portion, I was offered three meals. the great awakening when paying. 50 cents cheaper than normal price. (17.50 instead of 18.00) just sad .

Yesterday we went to LAGO with our 2 grandchildren!! All the food was very good, rich and tasty. Luckily we had a nice, young and attentive waitress. Everything was great!! Gladly again!

Preferably no star at all. Initially ignored at the counter. After eye contact, not a good day or what can I do for you, no, just what do you want? After asking for a small portion of fries to take away, I was immediately told they weren't a snack bar and they didn't have time for that. A portion of fries to take away for my son. I asked her if it was a joke and no. No, there's a lot going on right now, it could take half an hour or something like that. I've never experienced anything like that before. Shame on you Lago or rather that absolutely incompetent employee at the counter. Sorry never again Lago

We enjoyed really good service and very good food here. There are many vegetarian and vegan dishes and many dishes are lactose and gluten free.

Nice restaurant in one of the most beautiful parks in Freiburg. The service was great, as was the food. The only flaw, to be meticulous, is the lack of attention to the style of service. I advise.

Wirklich schönes Lokal mit guten Speisen und Getränken und freundlichem Service. Leider haben wir nach Erhalt unseres Kaffees noch 20 Minuten auf den Kuchen gewartet. Allerdings war das an einem Feiertag, also irgendwie auch verständlich, wenn so viel los ist.

Wir waren spontan dort Essen. Der Platz war leider etwas dreckig, auf dem Boden und dem Kinderhochstuhl den wir auch benötigt hatten lagen noch Pommes vom Vorgänger, den Tisch haben wir dann selbst abgewischt. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell, auch das Essen kam fix auf den Tisch. Wir bestellten Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat, Fischstäbchen mit Pommes für den Kleinen und für mich Rahmschnitzel mit Spätzle und Salat. Leider war mein Fleisch sehr trocken und die Rahmsoße total versalzen, ich hatte mir den Salat für den Schluss aufgehoben, da er so lecker aussah. Leider wurde ich hier auch enttäuscht. Vorallem der Karottensalat war gar nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Sehr viel Zitronensaft oder ähnliches dran. Ich musste ihn leider liegen lassen. Das Essen der anderen war okay allerdings für den Preis hätte ich was besseres erwartet. Zum Essen kommen wir jedenfalls nicht mehr. Sehr schade. Drei Sterne für den ansonsten netten Service und die Schnelligkeit.

Der Service war außergewöhnlich gut, sehr zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und nett. Das was mir den Besuch und den restlichen Tag komplett versaut hat war die Dame hinter der Bar mit den kurzen weißen Haaren. Ich wurde grundlos angepammt, dass ich die ganze Zeit im Weg stehe und auf die Nachfrage wo die Toilette sei wurde ich derartig grob angefahren, ob ich keine Augen im Kopf hätte um das Toilettenschild zu sehen. Sie schien in der Hierarchie recht hoch zu stehen, denn sie kommandierte die jungen angestellten in einem Ton herum, der mich an meinen Wehrdienst erinnerte.

....wie halt überall, 2Bier+ Schnitzel Pommes, 22Euro, c est la vie, nut selber kochen ist günstiger.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Küche ist sehr schnell. Gerne wieder.

Personal war freundlich, jedoch war das Essen nicht lecker. Hatte den Eindruck dass es aus dem Tiefkühler kam. Die Portionen sind sehr gross was jedoch wieder ganz okay ist.

Das Essen war echt gut, der Karottensalat war nicht so unser Geschmack aber der Rest war tip top:) Besonders die Linsenfalafel am Salatrand sind zu empfehlen. Die dunkelhaarige Servicekraft war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. die blonde Dame hinter der Theke darf sich da noch etwas abschauen ;-) Das Ambiente ist richtig toll am See gelegen. Hunde sind erlaubt. Preislich lagen wir fuer zwei Salate, zwei Saftschorlen und zwei Cappuccino bei circa 50€ - darf nach unserem Geschmack noch gerne etwas günstiger sein ;-)

Über die Qualität des Essens kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nur etwas getrunken haben. Doch freuten wir uns über einen äußerst freundlichen Kellner, der uns trotz voller Terrasse immer wieder fragte, ob wir noch etwas haben möchten. Ich arbeite selber seit über 30 Jahren in der Gastronomie, doch ich beneidete ihn um seine Ruhe, die er trotz Stress ausstrahlte. Da wartet man gerne etwas länger auf sein Getränk ...

Geheimtipp für Kuchen. Überraschend und man erwartet dies auch nicht unbedingt.. Man bekommt leckeren, selbst gemachten Kuchen in ausgezeichneter Qualität. Käsekuchen für mich einer der besten in der Region. Essen wieder viel besser geworden. Preise auch ok. Speisekarte angepasst. Weniger Gerichte drauf. Dafür Qualität auch besser. Wieder Aufwertung auf 5 Sterne

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen. Auch das vegane Essen war nicht wie so oft eine Notlösung, dass etwas auf der Karte steht, sondern auch sehr schmackhaft und optisch ansprechend. Der Fisch war frisch, reichlich und super lecker. Für gutes Essen waren wir hier auch gerne bereit etwas mehr zu zahlen.

Also das waren die schlechtesten Spätzle die ich je gegessen habe....dick wie mein kleiner Finger....die Sauce war aus dem Beutel und auf die Getränke musste man auch lange warten....schlimm

Salat und Pilze waren einmalig!!! Genialer Blick ins Wasser.

Wir haben noch nie so eine unhöfliche Bedienung gehabt, sodas wir wo anders hin sind. Wirklich sehr traurig sind dort gerne hingegangen, ab jetzt nicht mehr.

Klasse Nachmittag gehabt! Das Schnitzel mit Pommes war top, richtig lecker. Alicia hat uns mega bedient, immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Top Service! 👌🏼😊

Sehr nette und auch lustige Bedienung. Der Blick über den Flückinger, Freiburg auf den Schwarzwald ist phänomenal! Der Flammkuchen war nicht durch, wurde laut Bedienung an den Koch weitergegeben. Das Helle ist sehr lecker.

Direkt am Seepark. Parkplatz in der Nähe. Leckeres Essen. Freundliches Personal. Schneller Service. Seit 15 Jahren kommen wir immer wieder gerne .

Schön gelegen. Von der Terrasse aus hat man einen Blick auf den See. Der Service war schnell, aber strahlte manchmal nicht wirkliche Freundlichkeit aus. Die Preise sind sehr hoch im Vergleich zur geboten Qualität. Mein Wurstsalat war leider von einer Art Mayo-Sosse vollkommen ertränkt. Vom eigentlichen Wurtstalat habe ich damit nichts mehr geschmeckt. Und der Preis für Wasser 14,60 € pro Liter! Da war sogar mein Weizerbier zum Literpreis von 11 € deutlich billiger. Familienfreundlichkeit geht anders.

Flammkuchen ohne Oliven nicht möglich.. ..!? Gemischter Salat enthält tote Mücke, einige Blätter vom grünen Salst stellenweise ‚überwelk‘, zu Salaten für 2 Personen zunächst 2 Scheiben Baquette. Erst auf Bitte 4 Scheiben nachgebracht. Insgesamt ‚liebloses‘ Essen … Rhabarberschorlen leicht rötlich, Saftgehalt gegen Null..

Se trata de un jardín de cerveza al lado de un lago artificial (muy concurrido por la población local), en el que existe además del jardín de cerveza una cafetería restaurante, un jardín japonés, un gran espacio de bosque donde realizar diversos pasatiempos, está cerca de una parada de tranvia.

Service war stets aufmerksam und freundlich. Für den hohen Preis hat sich das essen absolut nicht gelohnt, schmeckte sehr nach Tiefkühl. Ich hatte das Lago viel besser in Erinnerung. Toiletten waren sehr unsauber. Preis-leistungs-verhältnis sehr schlecht.

Schöner ort um zugeniessen ob an der terasse oder beim rundlaufen

Hier wird man super freundlich bedient, sehr sehr nettes Personal. Mit fantastischen Blick auf den Stadtsee ( Seepark). Hier muss man unbedingt das Steak essen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. So ein Steak bekommt man fast nirgends woanders für das Geld. Ich bin unglaublich gerne hier und esse meistens das Steak. Für die vegetarischen Gäste gibt es auch ausreichend gute Speisen. meine Frau ist in der Regel immer was vegetarisches.
