Incredibly unfriendly service (apparently the boss), unfortunately I've never experienced anything like that, which is probably why it was "unfortunately" the first and last time in this restaurant.
But the food was very good, including the portion size
We were in this restaurant for the first time. The ambience is very nice if you like rustic.
The restaurant has very home-style cuisine, but it is very good. The portions are plentiful and the price is ok too.
The only thing I unfortunately have to complain about is the service. We had to wait a very long time until we could place the drinks and food orders and until the drinks came. Further questions about whether we wanted something to drink also took a while. You should work on that a bit
The food is really good, the portions are very generous and the staff are friendly. The prices aren't cheap but they are OK. Two things that bothered me this week: firstly, the way the staff were dressed. In a place like this, I expect a certain level of professionalism and not waitresses who look like they've just come from the skate park (not a bad thing in itself, but that has no place here). Secondly, the noise level in the dining room was unbearable for me. The acoustics are terrible and the owner should think about investing in soundproofing, that would really make a difference. If you can't understand your own words when you're talking, I could have had a good meal there on my own, but I personally can't have a nice evening there in company.
Danger!
Landfill No. 3 is closed!
Unfortunately, we have to inform you that after over 30 years, landfill No. 3 is closed forever due to external circumstances.
We were here spontaneously yesterday early evening. The schnitzel with cream champions and fries was a super large portion and very tasty. The farmer's breakfast is also recommended (maybe a little more bacon, but that's a matter of individual taste). We liked it even though it doesn't have the latest equipment. The chairs are comfortable and the service was nice and attentive.
Far too expensive for far too small portions. Over €10 for three small breads with avocado spread. The Maultaschen soup had carrot strips in it, which was not tasty at all. The broth tasted of nothing and was unsalted. The only thing that tasted good was the water. Over €80 for the evening, and we all had to devour kebabs afterwards to feel completely full.
The prices are relatively low for the huge portions. I've eaten here several times with friends and family and have always been satisfied. Very good German home cooking.
