Both the venison ragout and the venison roulade were absolutely delicious. The sauces alone were divine. The incredibly tender, top-quality meat made the whole experience perfect. I also want to mention the very friendly and attentive service, which, due to a mistake on my part when ordering, expertly and promptly rectified a missing drink. Excellent response! Many thanks to the team for a wonderful evening.

The relatively young staff still has a lot to learn, the space was rather clinical and therefore lacked atmosphere, and the food was mediocre. That could, of course, have been due to a poor selection; others may have enjoyed it.

Whenever we're nearby, we stop there for coffee and cake. A lovely atmosphere awaits us, offering a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle. The service is friendly, and the cake is delicious. The price is also completely reasonable.

We were seated at a dirty table. The waiter didn't bring a menu for 15 minutes, but after asking twice, he finally did. The menu included one soup, one main course, and one salad with a choice of cheese/fish and desserts. It was noisy, like a cafeteria.

Thank you for the wonderful birthday party for my husband. The club room with its adjoining terrace was a fantastic place for us to celebrate. Dinner was very good (except for a few minor missing items for dessert) and more than plentiful. The roast beef, in particular, was fantastic 🥲, and the red wine (Primitivo) received high praise.

The ambiance is very nice, and the staff very friendly and competent. However, I was disappointed by the pea protein fritters (vegetable fritters) with fried potatoes and mint yogurt (herb curd) that were 'brought back from Dubai'. I was expecting something completely different. What a pity.

If you'd like another special kind of flavor explosion and happen to be near Grevenbroich, I recommend a trip to the Liedberger Landgasthaus. There's ample parking on site and plenty of seating inside and outside. A rich menu awaits you. I went there with a friend from Cologne at her suggestion. She had fettuccine on a chanterelle and apricot ragout. I, on the other hand, had tender breaded veal schnitzel fried in clarified butter, served with fried potatoes and a fresh salad. The small salad alone was a visual delight with its variety of colors, and then the schnitzel: so tender and with the buttery flavor—simply delicious. And then the fried potatoes: hand-cut by the chef and roasted in butter—not everyone takes on that task. I didn't try the fettuccine, but the sauce: it was simply fantastic. Dessert: Amarena cherry ice cream with mascarpone cream and almond parfait with roasted rosemary apricots. The Amarena cherry ice cream had a chef's homemade chocolate base, air-cushioned, and very crispy. So what's stopping you from enjoying it all, especially since the service was extremely attentive?

Please go there. See for yourself how excellent the cuisine, the ambiance and the service are.

Only partially; the kitchen and, at times, the service were overwhelmed. Waiting times were far too long, some orders were incorrectly executed, and then, after complaints, the waiter made flippant remarks. The promised replacement of the forgotten salad never arrived. Two and a half hours is far too long for a normal dinner.

Traditional hospitality is often found outside of major cities these days. Here, you'll find it. It's worth driving a few kilometers for. Relaxed atmosphere, good service, a varied menu. It's just right.

We had a three-course meal from the daily specials – it was truly delicious, finely nuanced, and prepared to a high standard. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect from a well-kept country inn: rustic, cozy, and stylish. The only downside: the temperature in the dining room was impressive – literally – and definitely noticeable. The service was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional. Overall, a clear recommendation – we'd be happy to come back!

After reading how the owner responded to the more critical reviews, I'm almost expecting a similar response here. I didn't like the service, value for money, or taste at your restaurant. The service seemed disoriented, and when I asked if I could get some more bread (there was quite a bit for the number of people), the waitress joked that if I was still hungry, I could pick some outside in the herb garden. The food itself, compared to other restaurants in a similar price range, didn't really seem particularly competitive and seemed rather ordinary. The portion sizes were small, and all the courses lacked a certain finesse or culinary creativity. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

We had a lovely stop here on our bike tour on Sunday. We were able to sit outside and enjoy some food and drinks—all very pleasant. We were quite irritated when the waiter pointed out that we had to leave some change.

So far there has been no disappointment with the food. Any time!!!

In any case, gastronomy and cooking are still very important here. Very freshly prepared dishes make gourmet hearts beat faster. The service was professionally trained, which gives guests a feeling of being welcomed. Expectations were far exceeded.

A wonderful evening at the Liedberger Landgasthaus We had the pleasure of spending an evening at the Liedberger Landgasthaus on Saturday and were thoroughly impressed. As soon as you enter, you sense the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the establishment. The rustic yet stylish decor creates a feel-good ambiance that's a pleasure to linger in. A small note: Some of the pictures on the walls could use a glass pane to show them off even better. 😉 The food was simply outstanding. The menu offers a small but excellent selection of dishes, prepared with great attention to detail. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything tasted of the highest standard and was beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, which you could taste in every bite. The excellent service deserves special mention. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming – without being intrusive. Our requests were promptly fulfilled, and we felt in good hands at all times. Overall, it was a wonderful culinary experience in a great atmosphere with first-class service. Zur Nachfeier des 18. Geburtstages unserer Enkelin hatten wir uns hier zum Mittagessen getroffen. Wir hatten schon 2 Wochen vorher reserviert. Ein sehr schöner Tisch war im Wintergarten vorbereitet, die Begrüßung war perfekt. Das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Von der Karte wählten wir 2 x den Tafelspitz, 1 Rotbarschfilet und ein argentinisches Rumpsteak. Meine Frau und ich hatten den Tafelspitz, und ich muss sagen der war Spitze. Sogar in Wien, der Heimat des Tafelspitzes, habe ich noch kein besseres und zarteres Fleisch genießen dürfen. Summa cum Laude an die Küche. Die Zeit verging bei netten Gesprächen und in gemütlicher Athmosphäre wie im Fluge, und wie schon gesagt, das Service Personal war sehr aufmerksam schaute ständig, ob alle Gläser gefüllt waren. Da fühlt man sich doch wie zuhause. Die nächste Reservierung habe ich gerade an die Chefin geschickt. Bis bald! bdzons

An outdated country inn (furniture, sanitary facilities, etc.). Despite the new chef, there is hardly any fresh air on the menu or in the dishes. Food at the level of a restaurant at a high price. Food arranged very carelessly (cranberries in venison goulash as a blob next to dark sauce, therefore hardly noticeable, as well as the creme fraiche in a pile on the meat), salad never seasonal and simple standard).

It is unfortunately true that the quality of the food decreased and overall was a bit boring. The price-performance ratio is not quite right. At this point I'm thinking of the cranberries, which come with the schnitzel for €2.50, but aren't even enough for the whole schnitzel :)

After visiting the Dyck Castle Christmas, the four of us “landed” here by chance and even without a reservation we were warmly welcomed and assigned a table. We ate excellently, both the venison and the veal schnitzel as well as the pork fillet were excellent. The prices were reasonable, even moderate considering the high quality. The service was excellent, we felt very looked after and therefore very comfortable. We will come back.

We were invited to the wedding. From the champagne reception to drinking coffee and dinner, it was an all-round successful celebration. Thank you to the country inn team and of course the bride and groom for the wonderful hours.

The food was very tasty, more upscale, home-style cooking, but the portions have become significantly smaller, which is a shame. I doubt whether this is the right way to offset costs. I am very happy to spend more money for a good quality portion delicious food to enjoy. And another small criticism, please serve deer goulash hot and not almost cold. I was there for dinner with my girlfriend on November 1st. Extremely friendly staff. The starter and main course were exactly what we expected (game) and tasted great. Gladly again soon!!!

Excellent food with a reasonable price/performance ratio! The most delicious goose breast with perfectly flavored side dishes, great game dishes and wonderful desserts, the portion size is suitable for two. We'd love to come back!!

Dear fellow readers, I can't understand all the positive comments. Nice ambience? You can already see from the pictures published here by others what kind of atmosphere there is...such a beautiful building! But very, very cold inside, facilities a little higher than the campsite. Service team dressed TOP, but that's just an illusion, there's no real quality behind it. Food is good, nothing extraordinary, you can eat it. Good middle class, but too expensive. You can clearly see that 90% of the time there are 70+ people visiting here. If these are no longer there, it will be difficult... In the end, somehow everything doesn't add up. Very confused... Chic building, campsite facilities, smartly dressed staff, quality but so-so, food ok, but expensive. Somehow everything doesn't fit...

Today I ordered salted caramel ice cream with almond pieces for dessert, I had fond memories of it from my last visit. We celebrated our wedding on June 28th at the Liedberger Landgasthaus. Food, service and friendliness, everything was great. The upper loft including the usable terrace was just beautiful. The staff was attentive, professional and just very nice. The planning and preparation were very well prepared by the company. Very nice, several companies didn't bother each other, everything was done very well and professionally.

We were there for the first time on June 1st, 2024, the staff was very friendly, nice and helpful, attentive but not intrusive, very pleasant atmosphere, clean, the food was very, very tasty, from the starter of asparagus to the main course of asparagus with veal schnitzel to the dessert of sorrel ice cream with strawberry Rababer everything is at its best. The price is more than reasonable for the quality of the food on offer. The service is also very good. You can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

We spent a lovely and, above all, delicious evening here. First there was fried goat's cheese with honey, pears and walnuts, the main course was rump steak and veal schnitzel (although there were two quite large veal schnitzels), and for dessert mango yoghurt ice cream and crème brulee. Plus good service and good wine. We were particularly impressed by the broad beans in a creamy sauce with the rump steak. These are usually only available from grandma. The portions are of a decent size. We will be back!

Family meal, nice ambience both inside and outside. Parking spaces are available. Food was good, unfortunately my asparagus was quite hard. Priced in the higher categories. Waiters were all very helpful and attentive. Sorrel ice cream from our own garden was my family's highlight, but the mango ice cream is also delicious.

Nice service. Attractive look of the inn. Unfortunately, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired for us. Criticism on site was dismissed as saying that an incredibly over-salty soup wasn't over-salted, which came as a stroppy reaction, that's it. The schnitzel, soaked in fat that was too old, was heavy in the stomach. The soup wasn't charged for, but you can still deal with criticism more appreciatively and work on the quality of the kitchen. The offended reaction of the boss here to the criticism reveals the poor handling of criticism in general as a systemic problem.

It wasn't a big deal...tasty but a bit bland...(sounds harsh...but that's how it is). There's a little drizzle of sauce on the plate, a little herb or two, a kick from the spices. Service partly good, partly terrible, more like 3.5 than 4 stars. We would have expected more for the higher price category. Unfortunately I made a mistake in the (somewhat difficult to read) menu and understood asparagus with fillet for €48.50. Of course that's not true and I sincerely apologize for this stupid mistake. I have corrected the review. But the rest is true. And 4 stars is actually not a bad rating.

We were guests at the Liedberger Landgasthaus with several people. In my circle of friends, the country inn is known for its good cuisine, but it also comes at a price. We were warmly welcomed in the evening and shown to our table. It feels like nothing has been done about the facility in the last 5 years and I personally don't like it because I find it very uncomfortable there. Our waiter quickly took the order for the drinks, which were then quickly brought to the table. What I didn't really like was the arbitrary use of beer mats. One of us received three beer mats for his water bottle and glass, while others received no beer mats, which over time led to some stains on the tables because there were no tablecloths on the tables. In general, I expect a better standard when it comes to prices for food and drinks. At first glance, the menu offers a large selection, but the sorting of the dishes is a big disaster. For example, the house gin is advertised right in the middle, where you have previously studied the starters. In the end, the menu was limited to one page for me because the other dishes didn't appeal to me. I chose the veal schnitzel which is fried in clarified butter and served with fried potatoes with a salad. Unfortunately, it is disappointing that the cranberries have to be ordered separately and for me the price of €2.90 is not justified. The food was brought after a reasonable time and all dishes were served at the same time. My portion consisted of two veal schnitzels, a small portion of fried potatoes and a small salad. For a price of €28.05, the amount of schnitzel seemed justified to me, but not the portion of fried potatoes, which made a sad impression next to the schnitzel. The taste of the schnitzel was very good, especially the note of butter came through well. Overall, the schnitzel was at brewery level and the fried potatoes could have left the pan for a few more minutes. The side salad lived up to its name and tasted good as a side dish. Overall, I can't really recommend the Liedberger Landgasthaus. I remembered the kitchen better and given the prices, everyone has to decide for themselves whether it's worth it. The selection on the menu could be particularly exciting for a larger group, as we already had problems with a group size of 10 people. Personally, I would rather avoid the Liedberger Landgasthaus

Yesterday we went to the “Liedberger Landgasthaus” for the first time. We were warmly greeted with the words “Have a nice stay in our house”. The waiter led us to our table in the warm, friendly and bright winter garden, where an Easter basket was ready for us. The menu shows the usual dishes found in a country inn, but individual ingredients turn them into very special dishes. The drinks menu is extensive; Special orders are gladly accepted. We were completely satisfied, especially because it was also good value for money and will therefore be happy to come back. Signage for the rear parking lot would be nice for strangers. We had reserved a table. This could not be found that day. I was asked if I had reserved somewhere else.(??) Then, exactly one week later, our reservation was "found". The staff clearly felt, albeit subtly, that this was my mistake. We were seated in a dark corner of the restaurant, cat table. No, I will no longer make reservations there.

A bit lonely, being the only guests on a Friday afternoon. Service seemed rather unwilling. Just two cakes on display. Apple tart lacked sugar. Whipped cream was very watery (1.50 € per portion). The ambient was not really comfy. We came from far and had expected more...

We celebrated our daughter Simone's 50th birthday with you. We could understand our daughter's enthusiasm for your restaurant after the celebration. The food was delicious and the whole atmosphere was beautiful. It was an all around great birthday. The journey was worth it and we hope we can do it again. Das Servicepersonal fand den Spagat zwischen aufmerksamem Service und genug Spielraum für Unterhaltungen. Das Essen war grandios! Jeder meiner Gäste war begeistert. Ich kann mich nur für eine schöne, geschmackvolle und köstliche Feier bedanken. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

I was a guest at the country inn for the second time on January 31, 2024 as part of a conference. One thing in advance: even after two years, the high standards have not changed. The conference started at 9:00 a.m., which is, as far as I know, two hours before the official opening time. A big thank you to the staff for that! The conference room and the restaurant are tastefully decorated. The staff was always (No! "Not trying hard" :-) ) friendly, competent and flexible. Around lunchtime we had a reduced menu to choose from. In addition to pork medallions and salmon, it also included a salad, so that everyone's needs were met. Since I worked in the catering industry for 15 years, I am certainly a rather critical guest. But I explain the reduced menu for us like this: For a group of 13, not all the ingredients for the entire menu can be kept. However, this ensures the freshness of the food for the regular menu. I chose the medallions and was very pleased. I found it interesting that the inn was quite busy on a Wednesday lunchtime. Given the time of day, the average age was of course “older age”. The prices for the food are also "high", but absolutely justified. The country inn is not a trucker's pub (nothing against long-distance drivers, trucker restaurants definitely have their charm and are always worth a visit). I can highly recommend a visit to the Landgasthaus Liedberg!

Ein super Restaurant, das wir schon seit einigen Jahren fast regelmäßig mit der Familie besuchen. Die Bedienung ist absolut top und die Speisen sind ebenfalls top! Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt und die Kinder waren auch zufrieden. Der Service und die Getränkeauswahl haben den Abend abgerundet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
