Essen = East Berlin. Personnel = East Berlin. Ambience too. Everything in a positive sense. Skat is played at the neighboring tables. You know each other.

Classic German dishes with as many as 10 different schnitzels on the menu. Service is on the slow side when you come for dinner like we did. 45 EUR for two wiener schnitzel and two well-poured Berliner Kindl.

Time has stood still here. It is an attractive café/restaurant. They have affordable and tasty schnitzels on the menu, as well as other dishes. They also have many different beers on tap. If you're in the area, stop by! It's a hidden gem that hopefully stays that way!

Very friendly restaurant/pub (with a focus on restaurants). Old style that is becoming less and less common. Absolutely worth preserving, you immediately feel at home. The interaction is friendly, informal and with the right amount of Berlin snout. I immediately fell in love with the lady of the house. Ideal place to create a solid foundation before an event in the velodrome (concert or similar). Reservation is recommended. There were three of us and we were lucky. But only because we came right at opening time. Conclusion: the Budike is definitely a recommendation.

En alldeles utmärkt middag och gemytlig kvarterskrog. Rejäla portioner. Utmärkt och snabb service. Personalen talade engelska och restaurangen hade en meny på engelska vilket var bra för min hustru som inte kan någon tyska överhuvudtaget. Så behövde intejag översätta allt.

War mit einer unsere Stammkneipe/ Restaurant, aber was ist mit den Preisen passiert?! Ein blasses Hamburger Schnitzel von schlechter Qualität wo die Panade uffm Teller rumrutscht und paar Bratkartoffeln für 18,60€ Und die Sülze mitn paar Bratkartoffeln und ein niedliches Salatblatt für 14,60€ finden wir echt straff! Die Preise für diese Qualität, die sich seit Jahren nicht geändert hat, ist nicht gerechtfertigt! Da müsst ihr euch mehr anstrengen! Wir kommen nicht mehr!

Considering that this restaurant has so few dishes on the menu and seems to specialize in experimental schnitzels, the food is shockingly underwhelming. The fact that no veal schnitzel made it onto the long schnitzel menu is disappointing and so is the missing cranberry sauce. The fries are unsalted, the fried potatoes are seasoned and whoever came up with the idea of ​​putting almond slivers or sesame seeds in a schnitzel breading should perhaps put their creativity into the interior. The interior is very sparse and careless. Lots of advertising on the walls and everything is very old. The prices are also a bit too high for what you get here for Berlin standards. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a visit here.

Budike used to be a quaint Berlin restaurant with delicious Berlin dishes at reasonable prices - unfortunately that was a while ago. Today we have schnitzel (mainly). They're ok, but not special. More expensive but honestly not worth the price. The service is - let's say - rustic and rather traditionally Berlin rough. All in all: The good times with delicious beef liver, Kasseler and sauerkraut and other inexpensive Berlin treasures are unfortunately over.

Excellent place to enjoy German cuisine when you visit Berlin.

This spot is hands down the go-to place if you’re craving authentic schnitzel. The portion sizes are generous, and the schnitzel is cooked to perfection crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, just how it should be. But the real star of the menu has to be their pork knuckle. It’s legendary for a reason: the meat is incredibly juicy, with a perfect crackling on the outside that’s just mouthwatering.

An hour before 5:00 p.m., thanks to the 50% discount on food from 6:00 p.m., all places were reserved, but after agreeing that we would eat and leave around 6:00 p.m., the staff found us a place for one hour.

UK/America family went for dinner on a July evening. We tried with our smattering of German and it was well received! There is an English menu. Google Translate is your friend! My sons had the pork knuckle, and turkey coated with almond. Parents had the schnitzel with mushrooms, and schnitzel with mustard/horseradish. All were well received and all eaten up! Also tried the non alcoholic in-house (kids drank it), and the Schwarze bier (sweet, a beery Coca-Cola type).

Were there today with 4 people. Four different schnitzels with fries/fried potatoes and homemade cucumber salad. hammer

Really great atmosphere in the rustic restaurant. There are down-to-earth dishes, everything is obviously freshly prepared, served in a friendly manner and tastes very good. We'd love to come back there.

Yesterday I ordered currywurst with potato salad there. The currywurst was the best thing about this dish. The salad, however, was subpar. As a chef, I would never have thought that store-bought salad would be more appropriate here. You can do better!

You can eat very well and drink delicious beer. 🤗

We had two schnitzels, the quality of the meat in both dishes was mediocre, and above all they were tough. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was rustic German.

Quaint pub restaurant. The food is good, but the service from the counter women is terrible. We went spontaneously, although 90 percent were reserved, there were 4 tables and 1 bar table outside. These were not reserved. When the guests went to one of these tables, we thought we would sit there, but there were still dishes with them. I just wanted to help and brought in the dishes... the one without glasses got mushy and said are you serious about what you're doing and just sit down here because she hadn't cleared them away. We should kindly communicate with them. , ignorantly walked past, left one standing, and didn't even thank me for wanting to help her... no thanks, go and scrape off the hoes for 12 hours.. loading is ok, but whoever hires monitor lizards like that as waitresses... We've always been there for 4 years for my birthday …

Alles recht lieblos , im gem Salat mit Putenstreifen für 14,50 waren 2 Scheiben Gurken und eine 1/4 Tomate drin . Schnitzel mit Kroketten und Erbsen 19, 50 , Curry + Pommes 11, 00 für die Qualität sehr überteuert. Wir werden dort nicht mehr einkehren

We can really recommend Budike, for a meal or just a beer.

Loved the grumpy waitress, was the epitome of old school German service. If you don't speak German you'd have to work very hard to win her over! Schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce was tasty and affordable. Friend got the xxl schnitzel, as big as his head per photo....

The atmosphere is that of a cozy little pub. Even though we didn't have a reservation and it was almost full, we still got a table. The food on offer is good, home-style. The schnitzel and pork knuckle were very tasty and can be highly recommended.

Super! Budike bietet eine klassische deutsche/Berliner Küche. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr gemütlich, ich hoffe sehr, dass sie genau so erhalten bleibt! Perfektes Ambiente. Das Essen ist einfach, aber auch genau das was ich erwarte, bodenständige und ehrliche Küche, hier kann man sich mit Freunden treffen, was trinken und unterhalten und dazu was leckeres essen, egal ob als kleinen Snack oder große Mahlzeit mit Nachtisch.

Eines der besten Schnitzel, die ich je gegessen habe. Mal von der Größe abgesehen....

Had the Sunday Special, schnitzel with fries. It was really good, this was also my 2nd time at this restaurant. My first time, I had the Texas schnitzel, which was not as spicy in my opinion, they could make the breading more spicy or marinade the meat for a few hours to add some heat to the dish, nevertheless it was still delicious!

Uhriges Berliner Lokal. War nach wieder mal hier. Küche richtig gut und nette Bedienung. Komme gern wieder.

Ambiente toll. Aber Service sehr schlecht und unhöflich. Essen nach 1er Stunde nicht gekommen. Minus minus. Ekelhaft.

Waren gleich 16uhr zum verspäteten Mittagessen dort. Die Küche war schon auf Betriebstemperatur, unserer Bestellung kam heiß und schnell am Tisch an . Dazu lecker Berliner Bier 🍺 . Ambiente ist gemütlich, altdeutsche Eckkneipe eben. Die Wirtin sehr freundlich und schnell. Unser essen 1x Sülze und 1x Kartsalat mit Bulette sehr lecker und preislich total in Ordnung. Sauberkeit der WC Anlage zumindest auf der Herrenseite gut .. Seife und Papierhandtücher sind vorhanden... Alles in allem .. sehr schöner Besuch und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Freundlich, schnell, schickes Ambiente. Gerichte von Tageskarte (Gurkensalat & Ochsenbäckchen mit Rotkohl und Klößen) waren sehr lecker - dazu Schwarzbier "Sankt Jaro" >> Perfekt.

Gute Berliner Kneipe wie sie sein soll!

War beruflich in der Nähe und suchte etwas für Abends Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis Mein Knoblauch Schnitzel war sehr lecker, etwas dünn, aber nicht trocken. Nicht zu viel Knoblauch und nicht zu wenig. Bier schön kalt 6 Sorten vom Fass 0.5 Berliner Kindle für 4.20€ Nette Bedienu, auch freundlich wenn es mal nur ein Kürbis Süppchen ist Warum nur 4 Sterne? Ich war 2x dort, hatte im hinteren Bereich gesessen. Leider haben meine Klamotten mal abends so richtig nach Frittenbude gerochen. Das war nicht schön, daher ein Punkt Abzug in der Gesamtwertung Kneipe ist innen etwas dunkel, aber halt auch irgendwie cool. Zum Glück darf nicht drinnen geraucht werden... Das war auch ein Grund warum ich diese ausgewählt habe 😊

Hab eine Gaststätte gesucht um Eisbein mit Kraut und Kartoffeln zu essen. Bin im Budike fündig geworden und geh beim nächsten Berlin-Besuch da wieder hin. Ist zwar mit der Strab ein bisschen raus zufahren (ca. 45 min. ab Potsdamer Platz), aber ich fand die Kneipe großartig. Bier war ok. Das Eisbein butterzart und sehr lecker. Auch die Apfelringe zum Nachtisch waren sehr fein.

Dejlig traditionelt og god tysk mad, som virkelig kan anbefales. Man bliver voldsomt mæt og til meget rimelige priser. Bestil ikke dessert før efter hovedretten 😊 Vi kommer meget gerne igen.

A személyzet nem volt túl kedves... persze nem lehet minden nap vidáman, kedvesen dolgozni, mindenkinek van rossz napja. :-)
