We were there for breakfast, nice location, good food and very nice and attentive staff 👍. We'll definitely be back 😉😉.

the menú was very limited, we did not get any help from the waitress. The Schnitzle was acceptable but one of us asked a salad which was supposed to have many ingredients but in the end It was 90 per cent lettuce. The price of the drinks was ridiculously expensive . When we complained about the salad we were ignores. So, on the whole a bad experience. Never again.

I recently ate at your restaurant and was unfortunately very disappointed. The food was overpriced for the quality offered. Given the high prices, I expected much more. Additionally, the waitress who served us was unfriendly and unhelpful, which further detracted from our experience. In addition, the restaurant is decorated in an old-fashioned way and is dark, which makes the atmosphere uninviting.

Cool German restaurant, very tasty cooked, ordered steak with salad, schnitzel and Caesar salad. The portions are huge. Special thanks to the waiter, he helped with the choice of dishes (he knows Russian). We will definitely come back here again.

Very good cuisine, combined with friendly and committed service in a nice atmosphere.

All in all I am very satisfied. The service was magical, the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The view was also great. The only thing I think needs improvement is the breakfast. The cornflakes were open for too long and the consistency was therefore difficult. The selection in general left me shaking my head for the price. I would stay there again at any time, but I wouldn't add breakfast anymore.

A cesar salad without chicken is possible. It was a (good? Guess) surprise. They will probably say that it was written. In German. Cesar salad has chicken. Everywhere. Not as an option. Not at April's. I remembered this as a good restaurant. No more.

It is a nice place for breakfast or lunch. I have not been there for dinner so I can't say anything about that. The staff was friendly and you can pay with a card.

Be careful when reserving a table I have been eating at this place for many years and always stop by when I am in Berlin. Last Sunday I reserved a table to be sure of a place, received confirmation by email and turned up at the agreed time. Surprisingly, I was told by the staff that the kitchen was closed (at 9.30pm) as there was an application and very few guests. The restaurant must be open until 11 p.m. The young lady behind the bar first told me that they didn't have a reservation in the system, that the food service was closed, that they didn't SEE the reservation and that I could go to another restaurant owned by April nearby, but maybe the kitchen was also closed there. Finally the chef came out and it turned out he could cook for me anyway. And the food was as always - absolutely perfect. I understand that there may be few guests from time to time and that the staff want to go home - even on a Sunday - but if the restaurant is to be open and receive reservations then you cannot turn away guests in this way. It was 1.5 hours before closing, and you should also wait to start clearing tables until the last half hour. Those who run the place should talk to the employees to improve routines on this, because it is not pleasant to be rejected in this way for a regular guest who has been looking forward to the restaurant and who has recommended this place to others several times.

Phenomenal breakfast, outstanding coffee specialties, great service.

Sorry, way too overrated, way too expensive and it didn't necessarily taste good!!! I took the Caribbean fish soup because there were more vegetables, red peppers, yellow peppers than anything else in it. Three pieces of salmon, three and a half shrimp the size of my little booger finger, and all that for a whopping 15.50 euros, a joke. Never again !!!!!!!!

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! A bit annoying that half the menu isn't available until 17:30, but overall we would definitely come again!

Everything is good except for the acoustics. When the restaurant is full, the noise level is so high that you can't understand your own words. Maybe acoustic panels would help here

Fairly decent food but unfortunately too salty. More than an hour of waiting for our dishes, missing cutlery,... Considering the other reviews, I expected better and I was disappointed.

Came here on a whim because I was with my mum and they happen to share the same name. Really pleasantly surprised! Reasonably busy for a Thursday but not overly, there was a nice atmosphere. Service was very friendly. We both had the schnitzel, only caution I would say is that there is a small option for a reason! The normal option comes with two big pieces, but they were cooked really well and sides were great. Will have to come again!

Cozy place and great service. Very tasty food, both the salad with breaded chicken breast and the fish soup with coconut milk. The dessert with mascarpone over ice cream was a surprise.

A hidden gem in Berlin, food was exceptional service was quick however it was a little quiet and so lacked a decent atmosphere perhaps due to it being a Sunday.

The risotto with chicken and balsamic sauce was pretty good, but the crêpes suzet as a dessert were unfortunately not so good...although the ice cream with it was pretty good. A restaurant to recommend.

I was there again with friends after 2 years because I actually had good memories of it. Today we didn't really like the price/performance ratio. We all had breakfast, which cost an average of €15 without drinks. However, the portions were relatively small and we all left the restaurant still hungry. I wouldn't go there again if I was really hungry. The quality of the products and the service were 1a.

Schon die Tischreservierung gelang sehr freundlich. Ein gepflegtes Restaurant mit nicht allzu großer, dafür exquisiter Karte, Speisen wie Getränke. Vegetarisch geht auch bestens. Man sitzt gut und wird aufmerksam umsorgt. Kleinere Änderungen am Menü bringt man lächelnd unter und die Gerichte schmecken hervorragend. Wir wollten zum Nachtisch nix "mächtiges" oder süßes, etwas frisches und erhielten mit einem stolzen Strahlen ein Himbeersorbet, das nicht auf der Karte stand und wohl eher zufällig eben fertig wurde. Ein Hochgenuß. Man fühlt sich hier gut aufgehoben. Das alles zu vernünftigen Preisen. Leider wohnen wir zu weit weg....

Super delicious breakfast variations, great wine list. The location is good and the service is attentive (please show a few colleagues how best to cut the bread, it didn't look healthy, it looked very plucked). Essen sehr gut. 3 gelangweilte junge Frauen im Service, die größte mit dunklem Zopf ist in der Gastronomie leider völlig verkehrt und agierte unseres Erachtens geschäftsschädigend. Nachdem sie uns an einen Tisch umplatzierte, der nicht reserviert war, mussten wir entgegen der Absprache dort nach 2 Stunden gehen, da er nun auch reserviert war. Ohne Vorwarnung und unser Gespräch unterbrechend kassierte sie ab. An einer Lösung war sie nicht interessiert. Der letzte Satz lautete, dass wir ja nicht wiederkommen müssen. DANKE. This inconspicuous restaurant turned out to be a real delight! The dishes were all very delicious and the quality was excellent. Considering the portion size, the prices were absolutely reasonable. Service is in keeping with “Berlin hospitality”.

Delicious brunch 🍾 Attentive and kind service

Met with friends for breakfast in April. Fried potatoes with fried eggs and pancakes with blueberries are a real treat here.

I have only been in this charming neighborhood contemporary restaurant for brunch but judging by what they do with breakfast, I think I can safely give it the highest recommendation. Breakfast is wonderful, plentiful and very affordable. Eggs prepared in a host of delicious ways, suitable for the American as well as the Continental palate. A little bit of a walk from most hotels around Wittenbergplatz and Ku’Damm in a pleasant residential neighborhood but well worth it, even in the depths of a Berlin winter. Go—you won’t regret it.

Bardzo klimatyczna restauracja z przepysznym, niemieckim jedzeniem. Kelnerzy byli bardzo mili i udzielali dokładnych informacji na temat potraw, które na stole pojawiły się bardzo szybko. Polecam!

Das Essen war zwar lecker, aber die Größe war sehr enttäuschend. Ich sagte dem Kellner, dass ich die Vorspeise zwei Mal möchte, um auf eine Hauptspeise zu kommen. Als mein Essen kam, schaute ich auf gefühlt 8-10 Rosenkohlröschen und Brot. Ich fragte mehrfach ob das schon die doppelte Portion ist, da ich für über 20 EUR etwas mehr erwartet habe. Es wurde bejaht. Meine Begleitung bekam für diesen Preis zwei Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Sorry, aber ich gehe nicht nochmal hin. Man hätte mich darauf hinweisen können, dass die Vorspeise nicht mehr ist als ein Gruß aus der Küche. Denn dann hätte ich gewusst auf was ich mich einlasse. Die Kellner waren freundlich, aber ich hätte mir mehr Informationen zum Essen oder dessen Größe gewünscht.

Also so ein für mich, unverschämtes und arrogantes Personal wie in diesem Restaurant anzutreffen ist UNGLAUBLICH! Den Bewertungen nach hier, ist es nicht nur mir so ergangen und braucht doch kein Mensch 🤗 Sicher auch nicht dieses Personal oder? Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, denn das ist mir ziemlich schnell vergangen und flüchtete nur noch…

Volle Punktzahl, absolut empfehlenswert. Ob Frühstück oder das Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, beides kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Der Service ist erstklassig.

Abbiamo avuto un’esperienza straordinaria al ristorante! L’ambiente accogliente ha reso la serata ancora più piacevole, e il cibo era semplicemente delizioso. Il personale cortese e il servizio attento hanno contribuito a rendere la nostra visita indimenticabile. Sicuramente torneremo per godere di questa fantastica combinazione di atmosfera accogliente e cibo delizioso!

Tolles, familiengeführtes Restaurant. Von Aussen unscheinbar, verbirgt sich Innen - im ersten Gastraum Kneipenflair, im zweiten Gastraun Wohlfühlambiente. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und die Gerichte schmeckten hervorragend. Eignet sich gut für Familienessenoder wie wir, zur Weihnachtsfeier. PREIS/Leistung sind Top.

Gestern verbrachte ich gemeinsam mit meinen Kollegen*innen ein paar schöne Stunden bei April . Wir haben kurzfristig auch einen Tisch reservieren können. Ich habe mich sehr über die zuvorkommende Bedienung gefreut. An dieser Stelle ,danke dafür ! Ebenso über die große Auswahl an Weinen. Hier hatte ich den Eindruck, dass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war, haben wir nicht lange auf unser Essen warten müssen. Es war sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Das ist nicht oft so. Merci ebenfalls. Also ich komme gerne wieder .

German cuisine with a lighter twist. Duck was moist and tasty, beetroot soup was thick, sweet and wsrming-up. We also recommend flamkuchen as well as salads - very fresh, varied and filling.

Wenn Schnitzel, dann im April. Das Schnitzel ist „Wiener Art“ - also mit Schwein. Aber es schmeckt mir ehrlich gesagt viel besser als richtiges Wiener Schnitzel mit Kalb. Schön dünn, ganz mager und die Panade hat schöne Blasen. Die Atmosphäre ist super-angenehm und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Komme immer gerne wieder.

Wir wollten nur etwas trinken, haben einen Kellner gefragt ob das i. O. ist und der sagte 'ja klar - kein Problem' und so haben wir uns gesetzt und bestellt. Nach 10 Min. wurden wir angefahren, wir sollten entweder sofort an die Bar umziehen oder sofort zahlen und gehen... Ich habe so einen Ton noch nie erlebt - unfassbar unfreundlich und arrogant. Hätten sie uns freundlich gebeten umzuziehen und sich für den Fehler des Kollegen entschuldigt wäre alles i.O. gewesen. Aber es gab keinen Funken Freundlichkeit. Wahrscheinlich haben die es nicht nötig - aber ich erwarte bei der Preiskategorie doch zumindest so viel Dienstleistungsgedanken wie beim Döner um die Ecke. Bin immer noch Fassungslos.

wie gewohnt war alles bestens, Speisen & Getränke 1a, sehr guter Service: aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich, alle Extrawünsche (ja leider gehöre ich zu den komplizierten Gästen wegen vielen Unverträglichkeiten) erfüllt bzw. nach Alternative gesucht.

Très belle surprise a cette adresse. Un service soigné, comme souvent à Berlin, mais nous avons vecu ici un moment particulièrement chaleureux. Assiettes généreuses. Perso, jai craqué pour une expérience insolite : des choux de Bruxelles panés avec une sauce arachide magnifique... J'en ai fait mon repas avec deux assiettes 😉. Belle carte de vin, sans vous assassiner.

Wie jedes Mal in diesem Restaurant haben wir uns auch diesmal richtig wohlgefühlt. Tolle Atmosphäre, liebe und schnelle Bedienung und das Essen (Frühstück) ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Guter Service, gute Qualität des Essens, hatten Maultaschen, war lecker. Im vorderen Bereich etwas laut, eher im hinteren Teil reservieren.

Some time since we had had breakfast here. The portions have gotten quite a bit smaller and the prices have increased substantially. The service was friendly with the exception of the owner/operator but that has always been the case. The food was also fine. What is strange is that on the bill the tip is already added, not okay. You get tip based on how the service and food was and thus determined the customer, not the restaurant. Because of this we have been in this place for the last time, there are plenty of places in the area that do charge decent prices without a mandatory tip.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Qualitativ hochwertige Lebensmittel. Etwas mehr vegane Optionen wären cool. Und das Bild vom gefesselten Widder 🐏 ist etwas fragwürdig. Aber sehr nettes Service Personal, welches sich auch nicht von einem Kind stören lässt. Würde das Café auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

A basically nice place with not very advanced but usually good food, but the service was quite mediocre this time with waiters who were not at all interested in the guests. Also billing for tap water is a bad habit. This was probably my last visit to this place for a while.

Wir waren dort zum ersten Mal zum Frühstück auf Empfehlung von Freunden. Es war eine gute Erfahrung. Die Atmoshpäre gefiel uns, der Service war klasse und sehr freundlch, die Speisen-Auswahl ist vielseitig, und alles war frisch, lecker, schön angerichtet und von guter Qualität. Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte gab es: Es war dort sehr laut, sodass das Unterhalten am Tisch etwas anstrengend war. Außerdem sollte in Zeiten von Kartenzahlung auch die Zahlung mit Amex möglich sein.

Einfach toll, perfekt. Im Besonderen wenn man den Winterfeldmarkt besucht hat. Wir hatten Tee, Kaffee und Fammkuchen, alles lecker und gut angerichtet. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam Kartenzahlung auch möglich. Die Stühle sind leider sehr unbequem.

Wir haben hier um ca. 11 Uhr an einem Donnerstag gefrühstückt. Das Restaurant war nicht sonderlich voll und wir konnten draußen vor dem Restaurant in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße sitzen. Die Frühstückskarte ist sehr umfangreich und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas vorhanden. Das Essen ist sehr lecker! Knusprige Brötchen, frisches Brot, hochwertiger Aufschnitt, teils selbstgemachte Aufstriche und frischgepresster O-Saft! Die Kellnerin war sehr nett und ausmerksam. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können es nur empfehlen hier zu frühstücken!

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier und haben es uns so richtig gut gehen lassen 😋. Der absolute Wahnsinn war das Gericht "Perlhuhn". Es war nicht nur wie ein kleines Kunstwerk angerichtet, sondern schmeckte auch unfassbar überdurchschnittlich gut. Einer der besten Gerichte die ich dieses Jahr gegessen habe. Wer ein Fan von Creme Brûlée ist, wird diese hier besonders lieben.
