We chose the restaurant because of the good reviews here and we were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed along with our 2 dogs and the food was delicious! If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely come back here 😊

A very nice, idyllic Bavarian inn, family run. The food, service and ambience are very commendable.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, even when the restaurant was full. We were even allowed to choose a free table, even though there were others waiting with us. This restaurant is definitely on our itinerary for our next visit to Munich.

Not for nothing visited twice! Much cozier and more personal than e.g. Zum Franzikaner, Hofbrauhaus or Spatenbrauhaus. Bavarian cuisine and many local customers, that says enough!

You can eat and drink great there, the ambience and service is good, and the price-performance ratio is also completely okay. I can recommend the business without any ifs or buts.

At the Fat Man, things are hearty in Bavaria. The menu includes Bavarian classics in Bavarian style. Foreigners will have their difficulties. There are only a handful of dishes here for veggies - I counted 3 - meat lovers are spoiled for choice. Service is nice. The sun shines for a very long time in front of the Fat Man. There's beer from Ayinger.

Excellent white sausages and pretzels, and non-alcoholic Augustiner beer. A wonderful, traditional Bavarian atmosphere.
