The beer is not filled, when I called the waitress, she said: "we always pour it like this" when I asked why not the other way around, why don't they pour above the 0.5l mark on the glass? She called the bearded bartender, who seemed to be boisterous and in a bullish form wanted to prove that he knew better to which mark the beer should be poured, after which he took it away to pour it (or maybe he drank it himself). Very unfriendly place, not recommended!

Recommended by local people, it did not disappoint. Be prepared to share a table if the place fills up.

I received a call while waiting for my order that incorrectly stated that “wrong food” was on its way to me. I was informed very personably and professionally that I could of course keep the second meal and that the actual meal I had ordered would be delivered by him personally as quickly as possible. No sooner said than done... dad finally brought it in less than 20 minutes and the food was really, really tasty. Will order again thanks

New review: The small Dicker Mann brewery has improved significantly since our last visit, the food was significantly better than last time, many long-time residents from the previous tenant have returned, only one waitress struck me negatively because of her dominance, which I simply didn't like at all We wanted to sit down and then she immediately shooed us away to another table, hence a star deduction

really quaint little inn. We were immediately greeted warmly and the service was very friendly. the food was very tasty, good portions for the price too! I also thought it was really sweet that we were given gummy bears at the end :) I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area

Great food and a nice back terrace to have a beer when the day is hot. Our son had lots of fun with people and ate too. Service was OK. But the waitress was too overwhelmed with all the customers.

The ambience is quite nice... But the service is bad - unfriendly, ignorant and somehow passive-aggressive. I just felt uncomfortable... and they don't accept credit cards under 20 euros, which is now a no-go for a restaurant in Munich. A little tip - a well-known beer garden in Ostpark is only an 8-minute walk away and is much nicer and friendlier.

Classic German restaurant, good home cooking. I had the fillet pan (cheese spaetzle and pork fillet) - highly recommended 😋 the bread dumpling is better... We sat outside in the beer garden, which is right next to a busy street. Therefore unfortunately a bit loud. But it looks super cozy inside ☺️👍 All in all, a great visit.

Five of us had dinner before the Adele concert. Everything was delicious. Even the sausage salad with fries (which is probably not typically Bavarian. :) Great staff. Thanks also for the delicious digestive schnapps from the boss. We will be back.

Came to Munich for the Adele concert. It was a tip from my friend there. We weren't disappointed. The food was great, the service employee had an unbeatable Bavarian sense of humor...you felt very welcome

If you have a lot of time, this is a pleasant place with a small beer garden. The price/performance ratio is reasonable, but the waiting times for the food are often too long.

There is a lot of authentic Bavarian food, great quality and very tasty! I can highly recommend the crusty roast with a light dish and then a Kaiserschmarrn to share! The service is quaint and very friendly, accommodating and still quick. We sat outside on the street, would choose the lovely beer garden next time.

I would like to recommend the beer garden and the associated restaurant without reservation. The lunch menu and the menus offered are simply great, and the prices are very affordable. The service was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. There were three of us there and every dish was excellent.

Typical German restaurant. Good variation of different kitchens but with an emphasis on the Bavarian kitchen. Nice garden to sit in, fast service, huge portions (in typical german style, because no one can leave hungry I guess) and kind and hardworking staff. All this for a decent price

Great restaurant very close to the Michaelibad subway stop (U5). Excellent Bavarian cuisine. The pork knuckle and the onion roast are particularly recommended. But the Filetpfandl is also worth ordering. Price wise, good for what you get. Great atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors. Service is very friendly and all requests are taken into account.

I've been there several times now and have never been disappointed. There is nothing on the menu that I wouldn't order again. The Kaiserschmarrn is the best in German-speaking countries! 2 different types of must, apple and plum and the caramelized almonds are a game changer! The service is super nice and leaves nothing to be desired. It's really rustic inside and the beer garden is also very pretty. Easily accessible with the subway station, which is not far away. There is also a large parking lot there. However, parking is a bit more difficult directly in front of the restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the quality. Dogs are welcome and even get a drinking bowl. Favorite restaurant in Munich!

Haven't been here for a while, but I have to say it's still as good as it used to be. Super nice and attentive service. The food was very good. Not the usual 70% breading and 30% meat, but thin breading and juicy and tender meat. Clear recommendation!!!

We were in the beer garden and ate onion roast, spare ribs and turkey schnitzel (cornflake breading). The food was good/very good, only the French fries could be improved a little and the barbecue sauce was good but unfortunately a little too little. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is rustic / cozy. All in all we enjoyed it, the price/performance ratio is good.

Very well located brewery with a nice atmosphere inside and a beer garden appropriate to the size of the house for when the weather is nice. The portions were large enough and tasted ok, although I actually liked the salad the most. The beers on offer were very tasty and a good alternative to the often available Augustiner & Co.

Nicely located, good connections by subway, bus, or car and prices are still reasonable. SAUSAGE SALAD Munich style very generous with good bread. The only thing that was forgotten to bring was pepper as promised. It tasted like that too.

The food (in my case the cheese spaetzle) is really very good, you sit together in a pleasant atmosphere and can really enjoy yourself. Only the service could be a little better... The waitresses are all very nice, but it often happens that you have to wait over 30 minutes to reorder something.
