The service is still quite friendly. We had schnitzel and duck on church fair Sunday. The schnitzel was fried very tasty and juicy. Unfortunately, the duck was a little burnt and dry on one side. Too bad. It was already 3 p.m. and the staff was changing shifts. The decoration in the restaurant is very nice.

Charming, cozy and an authentic Bavarian experience. Menu is simple yet offers plenty of options, even for children and vegetarians/vegans They have a great beer and liquor menu, and the ambiance wasn't loud, just the right place to have dinner with friends, as a couple or just yourself to relax and have great food and drinks.

Stayed at the holiday inn up the street while in Munich. Ate here the first night while our group was wondering around looking for a local place to eat. we sat outside, which was great because it was a comfortable night after the long day of walking around the city. I had the Currywurst, wasn't called that on the menu, but that's what it was. It was delicious! Beer was obviously good. Would happily go back if i make it to the area again ever.

Lunch was super tasty and top price including service. We were lucky a table just became available. Reservations definitely make sense.

The restaurant was packed when we arrived on a rainy Tuesday evening but we were able to get a table after a 5-minute wait. The waiter told us that it's always busy and reservations are recommended. My friend had the Currywurst and she said it was the best she's ever had. I had the Schweinshaxe (one of my favorites) with potato dumplings and thought it excellent too. I really liked the buzzy atmosphere but, if you've hearing difficulties, it may be challenging as it's quite loud with everyone chatting. Recommended.

Everything almost perfect. On September 19, 2024 we arrived in Munich and decided to spend it in the club. It was a great evening. Friendly and helpful staff in guiding two Italian tourists with little knowledge of German in choosing the dishes. My wife and I left the restaurant satisfied. Unfortunately the next day the staff changed. We were left at the table waiting for over an hour. After my polite request, a girl approached and finally let us eat something. Unfortunately it was already too late to change venues.

Today I was at the Sendlinger Wirtshaus again after a long time. Unfortunately it wasn't good at all. The best thing about my roast pork was the small piece of crust, the meat and the potato dumplings were just fine. The coleslaw didn't work at all, I've never had such a dry salad. No oil, no acid, no salt pepper. Just a little caraway and cress. My partner had the beer goulash, the bread dumplings were dry and tough, the red cabbage was almost tasteless. The goulash had two consistencies, one really good and tender, the other really tough. Were there today for the first time but also for the last time, and the food didn't look that bad.

Birthday dinner with family. Food for the price :-( not really that great. And afterwards we realized that we had been charged too much (a whopping 26 euros crappy). But we were already home by then.

Ordered a burger and salad before closing. The food was really good and the server was friendly and welcoming despite the late hour. I actually am glad I took a pic of the salad because I would love to recreate the combo at home, it's pretty genius. (Sissi) Tried the burger and chips and it was also amazing, well done.

Absolute recommendation! Cozy inn with a very good price/performance ratio!

This place does not deserve its 4.3 star rating. We walked into the place we were told outside because we did not have a reservation. Outside we went and the waiter outside told us no inside not enough room. We went back inside and then the three female waitresses were arguing and yelling about us. They didn’t attend to us and made us feel unwelcome and like a burden. Meanwhile the two male staff worked really hard to serve us. They were very slow with taking our orders and bringing out food. My meal was very average. It made me sick the night after. Not worth the wait. Then we waited a while again for the bill to come and a female waitress who avoided us all night to give us the bill and was off her face due to doing substances on the job that we witnessed while the males worked hard. If she did this in other parts of the world she would be fired or worse. I do not recommend this place, will not be back.

There were six of us in the pub in Sendling and we were served relatively quickly. The drinks and food came quickly. We all enjoyed the food very much. Unfortunately, I also discovered that it is very loud in this large guest room. You might want to put curtains on the windows to reduce noise or look for other options. It would be a shame that the charm of the bay. Local things are lost because of the noise level.

We've spent a few days in Munich and this place was by far the best restaurant we've been to. Prices are low compared to the ones in the centre and the food was excellent. We recommend this place if you're in Harras.

Great restaurant. The food was very delicious and although the dishes are large we did not leave a single piece of how good it was. We were served by a waitress who spoke Spanish and gave us wonderful advice, with spectacular kindness. At dessert time, we ordered apfelstrudel and he suggested Kaiserchmarrn, which was delicious. Completely recommended. If we return to Munich we will definitely repeat and I will recommend it to my family and friends.

We were guests in the beer garden of the inn on Sunday, July 14th, 2024. We ordered the cheese spaetzle and the meat patties. We swapped a side dish for the meatballs and instead of mashed potatoes, potato salad was served. The food was very tasty, unfortunately the cheese spaetzle was missing salt. Either the spaetzle dough or the cooking water was not salted. That was a major deficiency. But the reaction of the waitress saved it again. We added salt to the meal and it was ok. After dinner we discussed the problem. The waitress placed the criticism in the kitchen. As an apology we were brought a Bavarian cream with two spoons. We didn't expect this gesture, but we were very happy about it. The Bavarian cream was to die for. We were on our toes the whole evening and always thought ahead, which took our stay to the next level. All in all a successful evening. A big thank you to the whole team. We now have a new favorite restaurant in Munich.

Unfortunately, my birthday evening, which we were really looking forward to and had hired a babysitter for our boys, was severely disrupted by a waiter who was extremely unfriendly to us. My husband ordered Munich schnitzel, I treated myself to a Viennese veal schnitzel (€27!) with fries. When I ordered, I was already annoyed, then I was brought a Wirtshausschnitzel (mustard marinade) with fries, saying this was the expensive Wienerschnitzel. When I asked again, the plate was snatched away without being asked and snippy, "Then you'll get a new one." When that arrived - again unlike the fried potatoes I ordered - my husband had already finished his meal. When I kindly pointed out that we had actually ordered fries and were disappointed that we couldn't eat together, the waiter accused us of saying that we should be happy that we had anything to eat at all, as many people don't have anything to eat. Especially since we are not complainers (this is my first negative review) and have put a lot of effort into these two valuable hours, these outrageous comments and the lack of apology really ruined our meal. It's a shame because the other waitresses were very friendly and the food was good.

My dumpling carpaccio was a joke for just under 17 euros. About 5 dumpling slices that were drowned in vinegar. The nice waiter was attentive and quick, hence 3 stars.

The dumpling carpaccio from the weekly menu was barely edible (a few slices of dumplings were floating in vinegar on a plate). In response to a friendly complaint, there was no apology or compensation from the service person. We have been here many times, but never again...

The restaurant is popular and often very busy. It is still a real inn with a charming atmosphere and wood paneling. But I was very disappointed. Asparagus soup without asparagus, main course very small and expensive. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right for me. It is also incredibly loud in the dining room. Very tiring in the long run.

Especially if you live in the west and don't necessarily want to go to the center of Munich, you will find the best Bavarian cuisine here. You can dine excellently in the modernly renovated, listed 100-year-old building. If the weather is nice, you can also enjoy it in the beer garden. The food and drink are excellent and the portions are large. You can order anything here and you won't be disappointed. The friendly service tops it all off. We'll definitely come back.

I actually didn't want to visit the inn anymore because an old "waitress" had recently spoken to me weakly because I said that the bacon tasted good again with the fried eggs. The nice young (trained) waitress made me want to visit the restaurant more often.

Trafalgar Tours arranged our dinner at this restaurant which is nearby Holidays Inn Westpark. We chose roast pork from the main on our menu. It’s delicious. Nice beer too. So I would recommend this restaurant. It can be crowded so be prepared to wait.

An average store. The burger was so-so. The best thing was the potato chips that came with it. Their dip was also rather bland. Price level is typical for Munich

Typically Bavarian, cozy inn (with a small but quiet outdoor area under the trees) right on U6 Partnachplatz. Lunch menu with a good selection of cheap and tasty dishes each €9.99 (smaller portion than food from the normal menu, but you can also order from it for lunch). Beer for €5! Service friendly and attentive. We'd love to come back.

GREAT place. the most friendly staff ive encountered in munich. unlike almost every other establishment i visited in munich, the staff here did not make us feel like we were intruding on their german lives, and instead was inviting and welcoming and accommodating. we ate here twice. Unfortunately it was a letdown: the food was tasteless and even simple side dishes like fried potatoes were subpar (barely fried and unseasoned). Portions are large, but what's the point if it's very one-sided and tasteless. Unfortunately, quantity comes before quality here... The prices (except for children's meals) are completely exorbitant. It's particularly annoying when the food isn't convincing.

We were in the beer garden. You hardly notice the traffic noise. The service is super friendly and tries to fulfill all your wishes. We all enjoyed the food very much. It was also possible for our vegan to eat deliciously. The prices are not higher than usual in Munich taverns. We recommend

From the outside you wouldn't think what awaits you inside. Very great and friendly service staff. Even though it was pretty busy, we were served very quickly. The food was really, really good and the portions were decent 😉 All in all, highly recommended and if I'm in Munich again, I won't pass by the inn.

On a Tuesday evening the waiters were very stressed and overwhelmed. First we had to wait 15 minutes for the cards. Afterwards a waiter spilled a beer on us. It would be nice if he hadn't just apologized a dozen times, but offered drinks or at least a cappuccino on the house. Nothing like that. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy your meal in peace, without stress and with good-humoured service, you should choose another restaurant.

Even though it was during the week, I just managed to get a table. So maybe call or reserve in advance... very rustic and Bavarian. Feel-good factor fully fulfilled for us locals! Food very good and thank God it didn't take off! A bit expensive, but that's the case everywhere now. Still have to get used to it...

The Tafelspitz was far too dry and definitely not fresh, really a disappointment for the price on Sunday lunchtime. Meatballs were far too salty and the cheese dumplings were also far too compact and dry. It felt like food was on the table two minutes after ordering, which was generally very uncomfortable. I still give it two stars because the service was very friendly and apologized for the food and offered alternatives (even if they weren't better, unfortunately). Won't be coming back.

We went to this restaurant on a weekday at 8 pm and the place was busy! Food was good, even though our orders were not followed precisely, we enjoyed what we got. :) Good beer on the tap. Good family place with good local atmosphere!

You can definitely recommend the inn. Only the background noise is quite high due to the open hall. The fillet pot was very good, the cordon bleu was ok. Unfortunately, the food comes very quickly after ordering, so it seems a little rushed. But that is a matter of opinion. Overall, a good restaurant with Bavarian cuisine.

Rude, not very accommodating and pretty slow staff. After I asked which kinds of juice they had, he responded with "Didn't you look in the menu??" in an annoyed way. The food was okay, but nothing special, and considering the quite high price, I wouldn't go there again, I can just cook at home. I left the place and I still have (over a month ago) a bad feeling when thinking about this place, and why I even left a tip for this kind of service...

Staff is great, Food tastes OK, Wiener Schnitzel was fluffy and the fries were weak, The day before the Swiss sausage salad was a disgrace in terms of the portion size and the price! The price/performance ratio for the cheese spaetzle isn't right either! And the day after The fillet pancake, the sauce was watery and 3 pieces of fillet diameter 5cm thick 1.5-2cm unbelievably cut even thinner it would be carpaccio! With all understanding but if you charge such prices the quality has to be right

The beer garden is quiet & sunny. The Wirtshausschnitzel is perfect! Rarely eaten so deliciously (from beef loin) with pretzel breading. Service on point and super friendly!

The food and service were first class. I had the meat patties and was thrilled. Praise to the chef! The ambience also gets 5 stars, as you shouldn't expect anything completely unusual with the name "Wirtshaus in Sendling". You get what it says on the tin, a Bavarian tavern. :)
