The brunch here is simply fantastic. We've been here several times and are always delighted. The selection is incredibly diverse, ranging from sausage, cheese, and salmon to various spreads and egg dishes, as well as sweet treats. There's something for everyone. The service is very friendly and attentive. Keep up the great work!

Unfortunately, it's gotten very bad. We went for brunch with eight people. We were crammed in, everything was packed in to fit as many people as possible. It was simply uncomfortable and noisy. There was a huge crush at the buffet, and we even found hair in the carpaccio. The food quality was very mediocre. With drinks and tip, we paid 400 euros. It definitely used to be good, but now it's just mass catering. The only positive was the friendly service. We won't be going back!

From arrival to payment: great atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, and delicious, hot food. In short: Home-style cooking. For us, it was a wonderful lunch with friends on the first floor, with Bavarian charm.

We went to Der Hufnagel for brunch on Boxing Day with the whole family – from the grandchildren to the uncles and grandmothers – and we were absolutely thrilled. It's not always easy to find a place that makes all generations happy, but everything was perfect here. The buffet selection was huge, very high quality, and there was something for everyone. The cozy atmosphere, in particular, contributed to a relaxed morning. A big thank you also goes to the attentive and child-friendly service, which always had a smile ready despite the holiday rush. We'll definitely be back – a fantastic place for family celebrations in Munich.

Der Hufnagel pub has a cozy and nice atmosphere that makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in, with a great mix of locals and visitors that gives the place real character. The selection of beers and drinks is excellent, and everything is served cold, fresh and quickly. The staff are friendly, attentive and always in a good mood, which adds a lot to the overall experience. They take time for a short chat, give good recommendations and manage to keep the service efficient even when the pub is busy. The music and general vibe make it a perfect spot to relax after work or to start a longer night out. Overall, Der Hufnagel is a fantastic Munich pub with great drinks, warm service and a genuinely inviting atmosphere. It is a place you immediately want to come back to and one that can be recommended without hesitation to anyone looking for a real local pub experience.

The „Münchner Schnitzel“ was very tasty. However the „Kaiserschmarren“ which we shared for dessert was not fluffy as it needed to be but a rather dry and clumpy mess. The restaurant staff was kind but could be a bit more attentive, one has to wave many times until they decide to come to the table. Atmosphere: Place is looking okay-ish but the furniture is a bit worn-down. No bad place but needs a bit of effort to be top notch.

The lady's working in the service did there job well, just keep an eye on the drinks, we would have wanted more. The kitchen, super food you sent out, there is nothing we can say, except we would come once a week if we wouldbearoundthe corner.

We had our company Christmas party here, and it was a complete success. The atmosphere was very cozy and festive – perfect for an evening with the team. The food was outstanding: delicious, beautifully presented, and with something for everyone. Even with a larger group, everything ran smoothly, and the portions were more than generous. The friendly and attentive service deserves special mention. Despite the restaurant being full, we were served promptly, and the staff always had a smile on their faces. Overall, it was a very successful evening – we all felt comfortable and would gladly return. Highly recommended for company parties or special occasions!

Delicious Bavarian food with a large selection of drinks and great service in a cozy atmosphere.

Hufnagel is a Bavarian inn. Unfortunately, the prices are outrageous. €17.90 for a Kaiserschmarren, just like at Oktoberfest. The atmosphere is like something from 40 years ago, and the duck was tough. The price-performance ratio is completely off. It was very disappointing.

We went for the Advent brunch, which offered a very varied breakfast buffet and hot dishes from 11:30 onwards. Everything was very good and the buffet was constantly replenished. The only thing was that the Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) was a bit odd – dark and hard. The staff was very friendly and efficient. In short, a lovely Advent brunch with excellent value for money.

There were five of us, and three of the salads contained clearly spoiled tomatoes and were inedible. When we pointed this out to two staff members, the only response was, "I'll pass it on." For a 4.6-star restaurant at these prices, this was very disappointing – fresh and safe food should be a given.

To be perfectly honest, I have to give a bad review because my food arrived after 20 minutes looking exactly like the picture. The Kaiserschmarrn tasted like eating wood and plastic with almonds. Inedible, and all for €17.90!

It was our first time there and we received a very warm welcome. You immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is cool. The drinks are beyond reproach.

A roast pork for just under €20 is beyond the pale, even in Munich. They serve it on small, neat plates to make it look as big as possible. The tiny crust was absolutely tasteless. The roast and the two small dumplings were mediocre. The small bowl of cabbage was also placed in the middle of the sauce, filling the entire plate. Oh well... Overall, a mediocre dining experience at best! Our companions also had cheese spaetzle for around €16, which could have been warmer, but they tasted good. For two roast pork dishes, a bottle of water, and a Spezi, we had to pay €50. That's far too expensive for a restaurant of this location and class! The service was very friendly and the setting pleasant. Our meal, and that of our companions, was mediocre, but not worth the price!

We ate at "Der Hufnagel" today without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome, and even though we didn't have a reservation, they did everything they could to get us a great table. We ordered the schnitzel platter and knuckle of pork. It was a fantastic meal, which began with a warm welcome from the chef. They also served a very tasty cauliflower soup. We'll definitely come back when we're back in Munich.

Delicious traditional German dishes, excellent value, and a welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention... easy communication in Italian and English, which helps when you don't speak German. Highly recommended.

It has nothing to do with business. I rarely rate this harshly, but here I have to! The staff argue in front of the guests, happy hour is only at the bar, despite being advertised otherwise, guests get drunk even though they can't stand any longer. A 30-euro tip is accepted, but the guest can't pay for the taxi ride home afterward. The taxi driver isn't helped. Guests are turned away, even though everything upstairs is still free and the staff aren't organized and could easily serve it. A whole knuckle of pork was ordered for a person who wasn't even half a person. A real cheek! It's a shame for the restaurant industry that this is presented. It has nothing to do with Munich. The music is loud at the bar and TikTok-like. There's no music in the dining room. Please find something else. There are plenty of alternatives here. I didn't accept the "whole knuckle" and left. Look at the picture and judge for yourself. Sorry. Hopefully it's not just my opinion....

I went to dinner at Hufnagel with my friends last night and was disappointed with the food. I had a Braumeister schnitzel that was wafer-thin and dry, as was the "dumpling side dish." To top it all off, there was barely any sauce in the plate that would have made the whole thing bearable. However, I don't think the price-performance ratio is appropriate. The service was okay.

We've been to Hufnagel for the third time now, for family celebrations. A wedding and a baptism. The snack platter had been prepared long ago during our last visit. And there was much less of it than two years ago. The pretzels were in the oven too long, which made the pretzels very hard, and the insides were too hard. The pumpkin cream soup isn't creamy at all. It was watery. It also had a sour taste and there were too many pumpkin seeds in it. The parking situation is also disastrous. There is a very small parking lot. On Sundays, you could park next to the supermarket. I wouldn't go there. There are much better restaurants.

Great atmosphere, top-notch service! The Munich schnitzel portions are unfortunately a bit small for the price, especially compared to Andy's Krabblergarten, but they were still very tasty.

We visited Hufnagel yesterday with family and friends from abroad and had a wonderful evening. Our waiter, Aleks, was extremely charming, witty, and always on the go. That's what makes eating out so much fun! The food was excellent, as always, and the atmosphere warm. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and I'm always happy to recommend this restaurant to my friends. This time, I wasn't disappointed. We all felt very comfortable. Many thanks to the entire team; we'll definitely be back!

We met up with a few girls to chat and, because we'd mentioned it when we made our reservation, were given a table a bit off to the side, so we could chat in peace, really for a restaurant. The waitress, Steffi the blonde, was super nice and accommodated all my requests for changes to the menu. She was attentive but not intrusive. The ambiance was incredibly beautiful, and the food was incredibly delicious. Excellent value for money. I can absolutely recommend this place.

We were there for the Austria Party. The food and drinks were all wonderful. When the party gets going, the bar area is a great place to celebrate, but there's not enough space for everyone who wants to party!

Actually, it's a very nice Bavarian restaurant. But we hardly ever go there anymore. For the location (we're talking about Perlach), the ridiculously expensive tarte flambée costs €16!!! (material costs max. €2.50-3.50 = outrageous) and a roast pork for €20? Really? Also the baked potatoes or salads. It's completely out of proportion, and it's cheaper towards the city center or in Hohenbrunn. The restaurants manage it, and they're busy. I can no longer understand arguing that prices are rising due to increased costs. I call it not wanting to get off the high horse of profits from the past. We all need to tighten our belts. The good times are over. It's a shame, things used to be good, nice, and reasonable.

This is what Munich's inns should be like. Cozy, hearty, quaint. Except for the somewhat high prices, everything was impeccable.

We were very well served as a family

Piere and my elderly companion were spotted as we entered the restaurant, and he assigned us a comfortable seat even without a reservation. We were immediately served by Franziskus. After our drinks, we were served a welcome from the kitchen: a delicious zucchini cream soup. Our orders were taken in a friendly manner, with a recommendation for the dishes. What I find particularly appealing about an exiled kitchen: I received my soup at the same time as my companion's meal. So, very satisfied. We'll be back.

We made a reservation online, and everything worked perfectly. The server immediately recognized our presence and led us to a shady seat in the beer garden. Drinks were quickly ordered and brought to our tables. The food was delivered together so everyone could eat together. The food, which we had schnitzel and salad, was very tasty and plentiful. I celebrated my birthday there. The location was perfect. We could celebrate both inside in the conservatory and outside in the beer garden, where we had our own private area. We continued to celebrate late into the evening at the bar with dancing and music. The food was absolutely outstanding. What I found particularly impressive was that the main courses were all served at the same time, even though there were 30 of us. It was perfectly organized. The service was first-class, and all my requests were fulfilled. I highly recommend Hufnagel.

From the planning and reception to the service during and after the event, everything went absolutely smoothly. The entire team was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. We would particularly like to emphasize how organized and efficient everything was – without compromising on warmth or quality. You could really tell that the team enjoys catering to large groups – something that unfortunately often turns into stress at many other restaurants. Here, however, everything was well thought out, well prepared, and executed with a smile. The food was excellent, the service quick and precise, and the atmosphere wonderfully relaxed. A huge thank you to the entire team for this fantastic evening – we felt completely at home! We will definitely be back!

I've been coming here for 30 years. Schnitzel used to be nice and juicy and delicious. I was here again recently, Schnitzel is dry. Portions are okay, but unfortunately not as tasty as they used to be. The quality has declined. Service is okay. But for the prices, I won't be back anytime soon.

I was lured there yesterday under the pretext of it being an Austrian evening, and apart from a few decorations with flags, that was it. The menu was limited and the food was terrible. Grandma's mushroom ragout was canned mushrooms and you could have shot window panes through the dumplings. The schnitzel in dark beer sauce was similar. The roast dumplings were just a hard mush. The music was so loud all the guests turned the noise level up quite a bit and it made conversation at the table almost impossible as we were sitting close to the loudspeakers. When asked if I enjoyed my meal, I replied no. But the staff didn't offer any apologies or anything else. Three adults to eat, two starters, three main courses, and three drinks. €96 is a bit steep. There are better restaurants in Munich.

We ate there twice during our vacation because the food was so good. The service was extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, and accommodating. The food was great. You could even say perfect. The restaurant is very lovingly designed, both inside and out. The beer garden with its wooden benches is highly recommended, especially on warm days. It's a lovely place to sit and unwind after dinner. Hufnagel is highly recommended and definitely worth a visit.

Incredibly good food. Prices are high, but appropriate for the quality. Our server deserves special mention—he was incredibly attentive, humorous, and courteous. The visit was truly worthwhile for us, and we had a lovely evening.
