Nice atmosphere, friendly service, very good quality of food.

The Hufnagel is a traditional restaurant. The service and friendliness of the staff is great. The dishes we ordered were very tasty and sufficient. The food was also reasonably priced. The beer garden was a bit confusing and the atmosphere inside seemed very dark. I would go here again.

A wonderful place to enjoy German cuisine in the attractive courtyard on a warm summer evening. Large portions and very good and hearty dishes, prepared with taste. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Minimum sales for groups!!!! Even if you haven't eaten anything! Where we wanted to order, the kitchen was closed without them informing us beforehand. No, we're not staying at home, we're just never going here again. Such a reaction is not acceptable. —————- Completely re-edited answer? Where is the old reaction “then just don’t come back!”? By the way, our group was at a homeowners association nearby, EVERYONE can attest to that!

Ate a "large" roast pork there. You get two dumplings, two slices of roast pork in a manageable size so that the pot with the coleslaw also fits on the plate. All for just under €20. Not recommended.

This is perhaps the tastiest German cuisine I've had in Germany. The service wasn't very fast, but it was Saturday evening, and the beer garden was packed with visitors. Considering that, our order was brought very quickly. So everything was great. As a complimentary treat from the establishment, we received a portion of celery cream soup. The meat was incredibly delicious. The cabbage was perfect. We were extremely satisfied with the quality and taste of the dishes. Definitely a place worth visiting.

Very good lunch, there is always roast pork for €14 as a “piggy bank” lunch alternative.

Was quite interesting. My companion and I ordered a small and a large portion of roast pork. Both plates didn't differ in the amount of crusty roast, but only in the fact that there was one more dumpling on my plate, which was still worth €6 in price. A complaint was immediately accepted and settled. What would have happened if we hadn't had a reference meal? In the end, the roast pork (large) was charged one euro too much. Digital invoice, only the total is visible, no list of individual items... only after request... is just not my world. To the owner's response to my criticism Great logic: 2 pieces of meat, regardless of size, are always more than one piece of meat??? Where did you get that from? For God's sake, I wish you all the best with your calculations

Great traditional Bavarian restaurant. The beer garden offers plenty of outdoor seating. Cheese spaetzle with a small mixed salad and roast pork taste very good. The beer was really cold 👍 To be improved: the right part of the beer garden is hardly maintained.

Have been there many times over the years We were there regularly and were looking forward to the butter schnitzels. Unfortunately it was a failure. Dry, small and not a trace wavy, below average. The dumplings with the mushrooms were nothing either. Too tight and sticky. Prices have increased significantly compared to the other restaurants in the district. The stars I only award it for the nice conditions in the guest garden that looked after our table. Unfortunately, the reception was anything but warm and completely unprofessional, despite a reservation. My son thought it was underground. Conclusion: It was our last visit there.

Very varied menu and special children's menu, there is something for everyone and the food has always tasted excellent. Very nice and courteous service, our order was taken quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive. The atmosphere is nice, a real Bavarian inn, but the Hufnagel is always quite busy and therefore it is rather loud in the restaurant. We'd love to come back!

The first time I felt like no. Overheard. I can't eat much in the evening and I only ordered a portion of radish. And an extra pretzel. I paid the same as a snack plate with Radi, Obazta and bread. Except I didn't get any bread with it and had to pay extra for the pretzel. We were there in a group, so I didn't see it on the bill until later. Annoyed me.

If you like Bavarian cuisine, you have to eat here! It's a little pricey but sooooo damn good! At the beginning there is a small glass of soup to try. That alone is really tasty 🤭 The atmosphere is friendly, which I like 🫶 The waitresses all seem very friendly and relaxed 👌

In addition to the many other delicacies, there is the best roast pork in the city.

Tolles Restaurant in Perlach. Wir waren mit 4 Kollegen hier und würden rundum toll bedient und verwöhnt. Lockerer, aber sehr professioneller Service. Ausnahmslos waren alle Mitarbeiter toll. Das Essen war reichlich, typisch bayrisch und einwandfrei. Kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent Bavarian cuisine with excellent quality/price ratio. Very characteristic location and well-arranged garden. Recommended if you want to try typical Bavarian cuisine.

We are often in the hoof nail and hope that we just had a bad day with the cook. French onion soup tasted like a Maggisud and the cheese was not baked, but a sprinkle of cheese was melted and put into the soup, so it floated on the bottom. Pointless. Unfortunately, the side salad was wilted, looked like it came from a bag from the supermarket, and the dressing was totally sour. It's a shame, because we've always had a very good meal there and the staff is great. We also passed on our criticism to the kitchen, hope it was well received. I'm really not a crazy person, but that was really a shame for the price.

Went from Cologne for a beer garden tour in Perlach. We ate delicious food there and were served nicely. Afterwards there was a football broadcast in the adjacent bar and a quick look at the wedding party upstairs. We'd love to come back (hopefully it doesn't rain)

Classic Bavarian beer hall. The place presents itself well, with the typical Bavarian style. Unfortunately the dishes aren't that great, but the beer is very good. The cost is a little above average.

Yesterday we celebrated my birthday party with a total of 44 people until almost 2 a.m. and everything, absolutely everything, went smoothly. Everything that was needed was prepared in good time before the celebration began, so that we could concentrate fully on our guests. The buffet was excellent in terms of quality, taste and presentation. There wasn't a single guest who had anything to complain about. The service people on duty that evening were extremely friendly and very attentive waiters who always made sure that we had everything and that we weren't missing anything. And all of this without being intrusive, but with a lot of attention. Very friendly and very professional. Bravo! The room itself was ideal for us and we were able to hold my birth celebration undisturbed. Many thanks to the Hufnagel team!

We were guests at Hufnagel for a family reunion with around 70 people. A private room with its own bar, music, projector and conditions were already waiting for us. Orders (drinks and food) were distributed reliably and tasted very good. We had no minimum consumption or room costs, everyone could pay for themselves and we could also use the built-in technology in the room free of charge. The planning went quickly and smoothly. Individual requests were also taken into account (e.g. menu selection, decoration, etc.). We were very satisfied and can recommend this business 100%! A big thank you to the entire team and all the best! Wish the Palmers🙂

A nice place for a Bavarian meal with any size of group from 2 - 40 people (upon reservation). Quick service, food was good. Nice Munich Schnitzel The first floor has quite some odors from the kitchen.

We were there for the communion celebration. The food was very tasty and plentiful!!! The tables were beautifully set and decorated! It was a bit cramped. Toilets clean. Staff very nice, but not intrusive.

I enjoy being a regular guest at Hugnagel. We recently rented the Quirin Hall for a larger celebration there. The organization with all the preliminary discussions etc. always went very quickly and smoothly. The Hufnagel team was happy to respond to our wishes and ideas and we were always able to quickly clarify our questions in advance. The Bavarian buffet was beautifully laid out and tasted excellent as always. The loving but simple decoration created a nice ambience. On the evening of the celebration everything went wonderfully and everyone present felt comfortable. The staff was very attentive and at the same time remained in the background so that the celebration could take place undisturbed and smoothly. All in all, I am always very satisfied at Hufnagel and can only recommend the restaurant itself and the food.

We had (only a sausage salad) but it took a long time to arrive and in terms of taste it was by far more expensive for this price than the competition in the area.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Waren mit 5Personen dort. Meine Frau hat ein Ladysteak gegessen. ( angeblich Argentinisches Weiderind ) Medium bestellt. Es kam eine dünne Schuhsole durchgebraten, mit einer Handvoll Pommes. Einfach so darauf geklatscht. Unser Essen war auch nicht besser. Möchte jetzt nicht auf jedes Gericht eingehen. Für diesen Preis ist das Essen nicht gut. Die Getränke waren in Ordnung. Deswegen zwei Punkte.

My husband made a reservation, the waiter brought us to the table and just forgot about us, we waited 40 minutes, he answered 5 people who arrived after us and we were just ignored. After all that time waiting we just got up and walked away hungry and the waiter just said sorry and laughed like it was funny as we left the place, we felt very badly treated.

We liked it there so much that we came a second time. Super delicious food and very friendly and attentive service. There is a changing part of the normal map. Despite the full house, we didn't have to wait long for our food and paying was very quick. As a greeting from the kitchen there is a very tasty little soup that was worth eating there in itself.

In a word: excellent! Super nice and attentive service, cozy atmosphere, extensive selection of food and drinks - the latter simply delicious and prepared with a lot of love. By far one of the best restaurants in Munich and therefore a clear recommendation!

We had made a reservation for Wednesday, April 26th because we wanted to come with a larger group. Around 15 people felt welcomed right from the start and the culinary expectations were at least met - a compliment to the kitchen. We were also able to really feel like guests as we were able to enjoy LARA’s service. We were completely looked after, always courteous and friendly, attentive, with a smile on our faces, even when things got worse. Lara had everything in view, no distance was too far and she even organized the last beer shortly before the end of opening hours - so a big thank you to the bar. As a guest, you couldn't ask for more service like Lara - and an entire group was able to experience that. Thanks!

We ate at Hufnagel twice during our vacation and were thrilled. The staff is extremely friendly and committed. Both times it was possible to get a table at short notice and we were always served quickly, no matter how busy it was. Before the meal there is a “greeting from the kitchen” in the form of a very tasty soup. The food is really excellent. More is not possible. When we are in Munich again, we would like to come by.

Today we were at Hufnagel in Perlach for the first time. The restaurant is decorated with great attention to detail and we had one of the best brunch buffets we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The selection was really huge and there was absolutely nothing missing. We were absolutely impressed that everything was fresh and prepared with so much love. Sometimes you don't even get that kind of quality when you order a la carte. Absolute recommendation for brunch at Hufnagel!! We will definitely see each other more often. Thank you for everything!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Hufnagel in Perlach. Das Restaurant ist mit ganz viel Liebe fürs Detail eingerichtet, und wir hatten eines der besten Brunch-Buffetts, das wir je genießen durften. Die Auswahl war wirklich riesig, und es hat rein an gar nichts gefehlt. Wir waren absolut beeindruckt dass alles frisch und mit so viel Liebe zubereitet war. So eine Qualität bekommt man manchmal nicht mal, wenn man a la carte bestellt. Absolute Empfehlung für den Brunch im Hufnagel!! Wir werden uns definitiv öfter sehen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Went to Hufnagel for dinner in the evening for a long time. As always, the food was good and plentiful, but here too the roast pork now costs €19.90, but the vegetable platter with fried potatoes was really awesome with a huge portion for €17.50. Great service, we sat at a corner table in the bar area and received perfect and very friendly service. Here in Munich, many a restaurant can learn a lesson when it comes to staff.

Always worth a visit, the food is unique and the staff are very attentive.

Even if a meal doesn't make it from the cell phone to the kitchen, it was quickly corrected and arrived very quickly. Super nice staff, relaxed and casual, and so far every meal has been delicious and we've eaten our way through.

Ein von der Einrichtung her bodenständiges bayerisches Wirtshaus. Der von diesem Ambiente hervorgerufene positive Eindruck wird vom Essen aber weit übertroffen. Sehr freundliches Personal, ein leckerer Gruß aus der Küche und eine hervorragende Bier- und Weinauswahl tragen zu einem rundum gelungenen Besuch im Hufnagel bei. Gerne öfter.

A really great service! Very nice, attentive, helpful service staff who are also very quick! The food is really good. The prices are high, but it's probably that expensive everywhere: €5.20 a drink 0.5l roast pork €19.90. Everything is very clean: the glasses, the cutlery and the entire dining room is clean, as are the toilets! Gladly again
