Leib und Seele in München

Schönes Ambiente, leider passt vieles nicht, nette Kellnerin, nur im fast leeren Lokal musste ich sie nun 2 x für eine Bestellung zu uns bitten. Kalter Schweinsbraten war für mich Pute oder aber sehr altes, trockenes Schwein.

Mega! Super netter Service, tolles Ambiente und der beste Kaiserschmarrn. Beim nächsten Besuch in München wird hier definitiv ein Stopp eingeplant.

Nach einer langen Autofahrt am heutigen Tag aus Italien mit Hunger und Durst mit meiner Frau hier eingekehrt. Super aufmerksamer Service,Getränke und Speisekarte sofort in der Hand. Das Essen(Hauptgang und Nachtisch)war sehr schmackhaft und toll zubereitet. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team!!! 5 Sterne

Bayerische Küche top, aber der Service hat leider stark nachgelassen! 🥨💔⚠️ Ich bin regelmäßig in der Oettingenstraße zu Gast und war bisher immer restlos begeistert von der stimmigen Atmosphäre – ob im urig-gemütlichen Innenbereich oder draußen auf der schönen Terrasse. Auch die Küche liefert nach wie vor handwerklich auf konstant hohem Niveau ab: Die Klassiker wie das saftige Lachssteak mit knackigen Bratkartoffeln oder die wunderbar krossen Fleischpflanzerl mit dem würzigen Bratkartoffelsalat sind geschmacklich absolut hervorragend und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! 👍🐟 Warum nun der Sterneabzug? Bei meinem neueren Besuch haben wir leider ein völlig unprofessionelles Service-Erlebnis abseits der sonst gewohnten Herzlichkeit (wie man sie von Top-Kräften wie Peter kennt) erlebt. Unser Kellner verschwand mitten im Abend spurlos, ohne ein kurzes Wort des Abschieds oder einen Hinweis auf den Schichtwechsel. Nach langer Wartezeit stand plötzlich eine neue Servicekraft an unserem Tisch. Das Auftreten war leider extrem ungepflegt und die Ansprache („Was soll's noch sein?“) mehr als unbeholfen sowie unfreundlich – zumal wir gerade erst aufgegessen hatten und die Gläser noch voll waren. Für diesen unaufmerksamen, uncharmanten Wechsel im Service ziehe ich 2 Sterne beim Service und 1 Stern beim Gesamterlebnis ab. Wir sind reingegangen und haben schließlich Fisch bestellt. Unglaublich lecker! Wahrscheinlich in einer Kartoffelkruste gebraten. So gut hat's noch nie geschmeckt! Auch der Salat und die Bratkartoffeln waren sehr gut. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen, hier zu essen!

War mit meinen Freunden Gestern im Leib & Seele und wurde von Joram bedient. Bester Kellner in ganz München, super geschult wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unsere Erwartungen vom Service und vom Essen wurden übetroffen. Absolute Empfehlung geht raus ganz besonders wenn Joram dein Kellner ist.

Für das Leibliche war gesorgt, für die Seele nicht. Leider hatten die Bedienungen keinen Blick für die Bedürfnisse der Gäste. Dafür machten sie einen sehr selbstbewussten Eindruck. Preise sind okay müsst ihr wissen.

Super freundliche Bedienung. Essen war auch sehr gut. Schnelle Abwicklung.

Ich bestellte Limonade, bekam aber Sprite. Vielleicht gab es einen Übersetzungsfehler. Die Suppe war aber lecker 👍

Sehr netter lokal mit dem guten Essen

Ein tolles Restaurant, gute bayerische Küche von Lammhaxe über Nudelgerichte bis hin zu Fisch, angenehme Außenanlage! Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis in dieser Lage 👌. Essen sehr 😋. Die Inhaber einschl. Bedienung recht freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Waren früher schon, und kommen bestimmt wieder. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das letzte Mal war ich vor erst einen Jahr hier. Das Ambiente ist immer noch toll und der Service ist schnell und freundlich. Ich hatte den Schweinsbraten mit Knödel. Der Geschmack war gut, die eigentlich knusprige Schwarte war jedoch zäh und nicht zu kauen. Sehr schade, denn das geht besser. Ich hoffe, das war dir Ausnahme, dir die Regel bestätigt.

The veal schnitzel was unfortunately like something you'd get in a bad cafeteria. It wasn't freshly prepared. But the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice.

The bread salad was delicious as always, thank you! Before that, we had a pumpkin cream soup, which made the cold autumn days more bearable. The best Kaiserschmarrn I've ever had in a Munich restaurant! Light and airy, caramelized, with almond flakes, not dripping with fat, and served with apple and plum compote. A huge portion at a fair price.

A typical, non-touristy restaurant. Bavarian breakfast with Weisswurst and Weissbeer, or other traditional dishes. Friendly and courteous service. Reservations required. Prices in line with Munich.

Lovely neighborhood spot, with good bavarian fare (spinach späzle was delicious) and fresh beer on tap. Service is courteous and to the point. Bar area looks cool, will definitely pop back for drinks.

As a Lower Bavarian, I can only say it couldn't be better. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was delicious. We ate very well every day for a week. Service was courteous and friendly. Regards to the Lower Bavarian waiter. We'll be happy to come back on our next visit to Munich.

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne zum Leib und Seele. Gleich bleibende Qualität bei den Speisen, netter Service.

Very bad. We waited an hour for our food, and in the end, we only got it after complaining loudly to the head waiter. In the end, out of six dishes, two were dishes we hadn't even ordered. We accepted them because we were tired of waiting for more food.

A fantastic traditional Munich restaurant with very witty and authentic service. The two of us went there and had a very pleasant evening. Even though the restaurant is right next to a major road, you don't notice any traffic. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We sat in the cozy outdoor area, the service was very friendly, and the food (mushroom dumplings, spinach spaetzle, and apple pie) was excellent. The only thing I could have done with a bit more of a cheese flavor was the spinach spaetzle.

Invited by friends for a reunion, this was my first visit and I was rewarded for the 170km journey. The welcome was warm, the service (primarily from Anna – friendly, polite, humorous, prompt, and very attentive – truly fantastic, I wish there were such wait staff everywhere!) was outstanding, and all four or five meals I ordered were delicious, including the deliciously dressed salad. The restaurant itself, despite its rather historic and rustic setting, was absolutely pleasant and perfect for our chat. I would definitely be happy to come back.

My wife, daughter and I visited Munich for the first time together. We twice had occasion to enjoy a meal at Leib und Seele. On a rainy Saturday afternoon in August we enjoyed a late brunch, and then on a misty Monday we enjoyed a late lunch. The breakfast offerings were varied and delicious. The beers and spritzes were refreshing. The lunch offerings were also delightful. The restaurant appears to have mostly locals as their clientele. However they do have English menus available. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Das Essen war gut. Portionen sind voll in Ordnung. Bedienung war freundlich aber sehr lange Wartezeit zum Bestellen und auch bei Zahlung. Ambiente war eigentlich schön, nur die Tische zu eng aufgestellt. Stühle zum Tischnachbar sehr eng!!!aufstehen und hinsetzen war total schwierig! Aber im gesamten wmkann man empfehlen, vlt. mehr Personal und anderer Tischorndung wäre empfehlenswert.

We had a birthday party in the adjoining room last Saturday, and it was a complete success. The contact beforehand was very, very pleasant. The food was excellent, and the waiters and waitresses were very nice and friendly, especially Monika, who was in charge of our dinner that evening. We chose the venue carefully, and we were not disappointed! We also received a lot of positive feedback from our guests.

Four of us were here on a Friday evening. Our food: roast pork, roast beef, fish, asparagus, and beef fillet was delicious. Noteworthy: Good, very friendly service. We felt very comfortable. I would gladly go back.

We had a lovely girls' night out on a Tuesday. (We had a reservation.) The waitress Monika was very attentive, but not intrusive. Every dish (pike-perch, tagliatelle, risotto) was very attractively presented, tasted excellent, and everyone was truly filling, which isn't often the case in Munich anymore. The restrooms are a bit dated, but clean, and that's what matters most. We'll be back.

The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great! Both Schnitzel Steak Pasta were very delicious! The food is really delicious I think a 10% tip is usually enough!

We were lucky with the parking, could be a problem. Staff super friendly, large selection, my dish of the day was very good. Very cozy interior. We were outside, a bit of traffic but ok. But it's not a real beer garden. Everything was actually great, go there 🍺👍🏻

The food others were eating looked delicious. This is my first visit and had just beer which was very good - Fanzsikaner-Keller. Very comfortable atmosphere and lovely lighting. Near great museums so I plan to return with an appetite.

The kitchen has definitely made an effort to keep the dishes classic yet original. It was so delicious that I would like to stop by again. The service was above average friendly and lively. I was happy to leave a tip.

The place is beautiful, traditional Bavarian, however there are many things to improve. A. Food: It is not the best, the Schnitzel was very small, for that price in Berlin in Austrian restaurants they give you a larger portion of meat. B. Service: Very improvable, although they were not rude, if we noticed something strange, we arrived first and they brought us the menu cards after another family that arrived after us. The food and drink also arrived after the other family that arrived after us. In short... it seems that we were not the waiter's priority... perhaps because we were foreigners. In my opinion we were not invited to return, perhaps it is a cultural issue or a misunderstanding... but it did leave us with a bad impression.

We had made reservations for lunch as a group. The table was set reasonably close for the number of people we had, even though the restaurant wasn't full. Otherwise, care was taken to ensure that all meals were served almost at the same time. Good taste and fair price-performance ratio for Munich. This also includes coffee prices!! Unfortunately no bread dumplings. That should be part of it in Munich.

After what I was served as “Käsespattzn” yesterday, that was probably my last visit to Body & Soul. Instead of homemade sparrows with three kinds of cheese on top and fresh fried onions, I was served a flour and cheese mash with cold fried onions. Unfortunately, my guess is that the Käsespatzn were delivered as they were and were just warmed up, which would explain the short waiting time and the discomfort in my stomach. It's a shame because the service was great and the location was really nice.

Decent Bavarian inn with a lively atmosphere. On Friday evening, four of us could only get a seat with a reservation - the inn was very busy, which was also reflected in the loud background noise. The service was friendly, but we had the impression that our young waitress was very busy. The drinks arrived late, and the food also took a long time to arrive, with a wait of almost an hour - although this was understandable for us given that it was at full capacity... Overall the food tasted good. The roast pork was nice and juicy, but there was only one dumpling as a side dish - so the portion was rather small. The Wiener Schnitzel was delicious, the fried potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. The prices for food, drinks and the atmosphere are still completely reasonable for Munich in this location. The toilets were clean, although a bit old. Street parking was easy to find within walking distance on Friday evening. The entrance and the restaurant are barrier-free. Overall, a very lively Bavarian restaurant where you can go out to eat in a rustic, convivial atmosphere without hesitation.
