The disappointment of other users can only confirm this. Even about 15 years ago, the price/performance ratio at the Perlacher Hof was quite expensive/high compared to other traditional beer gardens, and the service had a lot of room for improvement... But what we experienced there last week was amazing! The once beautiful beer garden is now quite run-down and unkempt. My fault for not fleeing with my guests as soon as I saw the prices on the menu.... What we were served was a disgrace. The snack for just under €17 consisted of not particularly tasty, cheap discount store goods and white bread (!?🤢) The roast pork was good, but for €19.90, I would have expected more than two slices of newspaper, dumplings that were certainly not homemade, and some wilted side salad. We complained and were ignored, or rather laughed at...

Average food at high prices. A waiter, who is unfortunately almost always there, seems to think he's being particularly funny when he addresses the customers harshly. The ambiance is okay, but that alone isn't a reason to visit. We won't be coming back; there are better options nearby.

If a child orders a turkey schnitzel instead of an extremely fatty roast pork, they pay an extra €14.90 for a plain schnitzel without anything. The waitress changes, and no one knows a thing... Even though I left a tip and said it wasn't her fault, she still got a "really great!" How outrageous!!! Once and never again! €100 wasted.... In retrospect, I'm not surprised that hardly any guests were sitting in the somewhat run-down and unloved beer garden. Recommendation ---- 0!!!

I haven't been there in a while and was very surprised by the price increase. Pub food is getting too expensive these days. The ambiance is lovely, and the small beer garden is a great place to sit outside on warm summer evenings.

We celebrated our wedding here, as well as several birthdays. But what happened today was the last straw. We suspect it was the owner or someone else in charge. We've never experienced such rude and disrespectful behavior—so much so that we left the restaurant before ordering. My wife and children were accosted simply because a two-year-old briefly touched the curtain. Nothing was broken or damaged. We're sorry for the friendly server and the otherwise impeccable food. But as long as someone like that is allowed to roam freely there and treat guests like that, we certainly won't be coming back.

Theoretically a nice beer garden, but unfortunately, the kitchen closes at random. The website states that the kitchen is open until 9:30 p.m., but you might also arrive at 8 p.m. and the kitchen might already be closed. I've had several similar situations from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the kitchen was always closed. The answer is always that you should call ahead. Unfortunately, in my opinion, that's unprofessional and incompetent.

The food was very tasty, service sometimes took a while even though it wasn't busy, the beer garden is standard, looks tidy and clean, but could use a bit of a refresh, ideal for hot days due to the generous shade from the large trees

A very pleasant evening with attentive service and good food. Unfortunately, it was a bit too chilly to sit in the beer garden, but it's still very cozy inside. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.

We only had a drink. When we asked for tap water, we received a rude reply that it wasn't available because it wasn't on the menu. Tap water should be available in every pub upon request. It doesn't have to be free, either. We won't be coming back. The prices are also very high. The pricing is incomprehensible. It's a real shame.

Personally, I don't think the value for money is good, and the food is too expensive. The table service was good, but apparently there were disagreements within the team, and as a guest, you could hear this loudly.

Ah, how the mighty have fallen. I came back hoping to relive the great experience I had last time—big mistake. The food? Let’s just say I left half of it behind as a silent protest. It felt like they were experimenting with how bland a German dish could possibly be. Service was a whole other circus. Our food showed up twice—and not in a generous way. More like, "Oops, wrong table... again." Between the confusion and the lackluster flavors, it was hard to tell if I was in a restaurant or a rehearsal for a kitchen-themed improv show. All in all, it's now just an average German spot that feels like a backup plan you regret choosing. A real downgrade from what it used to be.

Well, here you can get a lunch dish for 11 euros, which was really good. The shock came with the bill. Almost 18 euros. Almost 7 euros for an apple spritzer. If they want to make money through drinks, I won't drink anything in the future. If I add that up for a family of four, then good night. And something else strange: here online the spritzer is listed for 5.40 euros. Normally, I would come back for good food. But not here.

Beautiful beer garden with good food and great service.

A great Bavarian dinner experience, our server was very helpful in choosing dishes since we don't understand German. The dishes were delicious and plentiful. The garden was really pleasant (even though we ate inside because it was forecast to rain). The menu is extensive, with a wide selection of beers and wines.

I paid almost €7 for a perfectly ordinary orange juice. The waiter with the thin beard was very rude. I'll never come here again!

Wir waren zum Mittagessen dort, hatten Spargel mit Rindersteak wobei das Rindersteak in 2 Gängen geliefert wurde. Die Stücke waren nicht gerade sehr groß für den Preis und Sauce Hollandaisr war auch zu wenig für die Spargel. Finde ich einfach zu teuer -mit einer Johannisbeerschorle und einem Weißbier haben wir über 84.00 bezahlt. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt leider nicht.

I ate a roast pork and it wasn't that good. One of the 2 potato dumplings was clearly from a few hours ago, as one was hard and cold inside. The employees are very nice, but unfortunately they lost sight of us. All in all it's 3 stars because the food dragged the whole thing down.

We have been happy to come by for many years. The food tastes very tasty and there is something for everyone. Also worth highlighting is the very beautiful beer garden, right next to a small playground and surrounded by many chestnut trees.

Food was okay, but no better or worse than elsewhere. The service was rude. First to me, then to another guest. I then confronted her and she became rude. But things got even worse: the landlord and landlady then argued in the dining room in front of guests. Certainly not again.

Great meal, good portions and value for money. Not a long wait and very friendly service. Very nice beer garden under the trees, what more could you want! Wasn't here for the last time! At least every 14 days we always receive very friendly service and enjoy the excellent cuisine! No long waiting times, fantastic ambience, exactly how you would imagine a visit to a beer garden!

Wir hatten bewusst einen bodenständigen Wirt der - den Preisen nach durchschnittlich gehobeneren Klasse - ausgewählt. Große Enttäuschung, dienSpeisen waren hinsichtlich Qualität und Geschmack absolut überbezahlt!!!! Brettljause, Schweinsbraten, Kaasspatzen & Co alles nicht empfehlenswert Wie sagt man so treffend: rausgeschmissenes Geld. Enttäuschend, dass dies eine Familienfeier getroffen hat!!!! Wir dachten bei einem Alt eingesäten Münchner Gasthof unter steirischer Leitung könne nichts schief gehen - Weit gefehlt. Für unser Urteil spricht auch, dass die Gaststube an einem Freitag Abend abgesehen von 2 weiteren Tischen mit Stammgästen, die alle nur Getränke konsumiert hatten, komplett leer war. Nicht mal auf ein Bier würde ich nochmals hingehen - es gibt so viele bessere Plätze als den enttäuschenden Perlacher Hof! Als akkreditierte Gastronomie Testerin rate ich definitiv von einem Besuch ab!!!

I had a roast pan: The duck, the skin seemed fried, but it was ok! The dumplings were horrible! The potato dumpling was very watery and tasteless! Sorry, I don't normally write something like this, but the bread dumpling was inedible! Apparently the inside of a roll was used. Absolutely watery and tasteless! The consistency was strange too! At a price of around €29, that shouldn't be the case. Maybe there was no cook in the kitchen? We were here with 12 people and my people had the same impression... The service then spread the sauce on my pants and didn't respond at all! Dear team, it doesn't work that way, especially with the prices these days!

Nette Bedienung, Getränke und Essen wurden recht schnell serviert. Aber: der Schweinebraten bestand hauptsächlich aus Fett! Bei einem Preis von 20€ erwartet ich eine wesentlich bessere Qualität! Nie wieder!!! Die anderen Gerichte waren wohl besser, aber zu 100% zufrieden waren wir alle nicht.

Bavarian-Austrian - we can only say TOP! Landlady, service super nice and friendly, top food, regional menu and the Kaiserschmarrn is unsurpassed, fluffy, crispy and the best in the area - compared and definitely Perlacher Hof. We went there twice because it was so good!

They were very accommodating (we had to adjust our reservation and they handled it immediately, always showing friendliness and respect) and the table service was great. More importantly, the food was fantastic -- home made tasting, well seasoned, and large portions. I had the 1/4 duck with red cabbage and potato dumplings and every single time tasted delicious. If you’re in the area and in the mood for authentic German cuisine, this is an excellent option.

Were there for a celebration. Service 10/10 Great food, huge portions BUT the red cabbage could be on the plate and not in a separate bowl. All in all we (6 people) were very satisfied.

Were there for lunch. Surprisingly good and the lunch menu includes a rich schnitzel with fries for €10. This is almost unbeatable. I'd love to come back!

Very good cuisine, friendly service

Food was just warmed up, not good and way too expensive. Drinks are also far too expensive here at €5.30 for beer and €5.30 for juice spritzer. We are here on the outskirts of Neuperlach and not in the city center of Munich. Corona is over and purchasing prices are back to normal. So why is it becoming more and more expensive here at short intervals?

To put it briefly: Ambience and location were nice, service was also good, food, although we had different dishes to compare, was of poor to very poor quality. Portion size is economical, prices are totally outrageous and unrealistic. Prices for the drinks are horrendous for the outskirts of the city. Unfortunately, the landlady does not respond at all to legitimate complaints. Unfortunately, I will stay here when visiting. Of course, with hindsight we are always wiser, we should have looked at the reviews beforehand. Unfortunately we don't recommend it.

Idyllic place with beautiful old chestnut trees. But when it comes to the rather poor quality of the food, both Bavarian and Styrian, coupled with absolutely disproportionately high prices, we unfortunately had to realize that the price-performance ratio wasn't right and our visit here was a total failure. Even in many top restaurants in the best locations in the city center, I regularly pay well under €5 for half a beer. Sometimes even under €4. The same applies to non-alcoholic drinks. Here we paid a utopian € 5.30 per drink for 3 light drinks, 1 shandy and 2 juice spritzers! That's €31.80 just for drinks, so we lost the desire for a second beer. I don't know who cooks there and whether he has learned the trade, but in any case the roast pork had only been warmed up quickly, but not really hot, the crust was soft and flabby on the meat. This is quite typical if you buy the crust separately and it doesn't come from the roast itself. Here, not a single roast had the crust still on the meat. In any case, this meal was in no way worth the high price of almost €20. During such a tour, the thought arises as to whether the landlady doesn't care at all whether guests come because customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be of any importance. So it's just a matter of time before another restaurant closes.

Were here on Sunday for the first time since the reopening and will definitely be back! Great ambience, very friendly service and one of the best roasts we have ever eaten :)

Hello, we once had veal schnitzel and I had a knuckle. The veal schnitzel was far too thin and in our opinion, it was not veal schnitzel, but pork and had bad taste. My knuckle wasn't crispy but limp and didn't taste good. When the staff (boss) asked about it, they wanted to convince us of its good quality. Cook has missed his job. We would also have to pay money for the parking space in front of the restaurant, it is private.

Good Austrian cuisine, yes. But unfortunately the store continues to downsize. The staff changes faster and faster and some of them are unfriendly. But the prices are becoming more and more outrageous. Unfortunately you don't see me there very often anymore because the prices in the city center have gone up.

Shrimp were unpeeled and had to be peeled out of the shell with your fingers when eating. When paying, the waiter discussed the amount of the tip and argued that his service deserved a higher tip, despite the lack of shrimp.

We (two adults, four children) went in and first had to look around for the waiters. I then interrupted two chattering men who looked like service staff and asked if they were in charge here. They said yes and told us that they also had ice cream. They brought the ice cream menu but continued chatting, which I didn't think was a bad thing. I then just got up and grabbed the menu because I wanted to order something to eat too. We ordered drinks, a raspberry curd strudel and children's ice cream with different flavors. I also asked him if he wanted to write it down because I know how hard it can be to remember different varieties. He said, “No, I’ll remember that,” and hissed off. The result was that he brought the wrong ice cream three times and then complained that we kept changing our orders. When I pointed out to him that I had asked him if he wanted to write it down, he said, “You’re not yelling at me. You go in and sit down” (I didn’t scream). I then said that I wanted the bill straight away and went in. He came out and said, "I'm canceling the ice cream and then you leave." To my "Excuse me?" he countered, "There's no excuse for you" and walked out. The children were on the verge of crying. I went out and asked if he was the supervisor. He replied, "It does for you." When I located the supervisor and explained the situation to her, she brought us the ice cream and saved the situation. But she also explained to me that he was a very good waiter and that it must be a matter of communication. Honestly, an experienced waiter doesn't throw out his guests because he isn't able to serve them properly, and a good boss doesn't let such behavior get away with it

Had breakfast and lunch/dinner here with my company. The staff is nice and the food tastes very good. Unfortunately it quickly became very loud inside and with larger groups it also gets very loud. But I can only recommend it for a smaller group.

Negativ: Kalbsschnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat. Euro 27,70. Schnitzel einigermaßen ok. Kartoffelsalat schmeckt säuerlich und wie aus dem Eimer. Kein Beilagensalat und keine Preiselbeeren - muss extra bezahlt werden. Negativ: Salatteller mit Hühnerbrust auf der Mittagskarte. Salat lieblos angemacht, will heißen geschmacksneutral. Präsentiert in einer essbaren Schale, die nach absolut nichts schmeckte. Negativ: Wein, Grüner Veltliner, Euro 7,40 für 0,2 l Positiv: netter Biergarten unter Bäumen und eine nette Bedienung Preise dieser Stadtteil-Wirtschaft wie in der Münchner Innenstadt, nur in schlechterer Qualität. Schade, wir werden dort nicht mehr einkehren.

We were there with 8 people (4 adults, 4 kids) a few days ago. There are play options for the little ones, which was relaxing. The dog was not offered water. The beer garden was moderately busy, the food was served quickly but only moderately good, the duck, for example, was tough and only lukewarm. Two gentlemen were moderately motivated in service. We paid 180 euros, which we divided among ourselves. For the second couple, the waiter had already typed the remaining amount into the EC terminal a little prematurely, and was then informed that this meant that you could only give a few euros of coins as a tip. He then made a disgusted face and refused the coins (a few euros) with the comment "I can't buy anything with that either." The beer garden has a fly problem. It was not possible to eat in peace. The waiter made snide jokes about it when it was pointed out to him.

The food was not good and not fresh made. The panade of the Wiener Schnitzel was wet and oily. The potatoes salad tasted like from Aldi and was so hot like warmed in the microwave. My brozeitteller showed sausage and Obatzter as from a discounter. And tasted accordingly. The fish ( salmon) was overcooked. The parfait tasted like been frozen for a long time and lacked mango as promised in the menu card. Food in a bavarian beer garden must be fresh from a local butcher and not taste after discounter. The escalope milanesa (wiener schnitzel) was a total no go.

Grundsätzlich waren die Hauptgerichte lecker, aber wie schon in anderen Rezessionen zu lesen, waren die Schweinebratenscheiben ultta dünn. Was leider gar nicht ging war die Nachspeise: Marillenknödel. Diese waren geschmacklich und von der Konsistenz her unterirdisch. Niemals waren das selbstgemachte sondern ein sehr schlechtes convenience Produkt, eventuell auch schon über der Haltbarkeit? Es schmeckte etwas „käsig“ … sehr schade 😞

This fine, cozy beer garden and the inn in the old Perlach are a gem. The food is great, the team is courteous, attentive and very nice. We have been guests for years and always enjoy our time at the Perlacher Hof!

The inn leaves me with a somewhat heterogeneous impression. Very nice beer garden with gravel and mighty chestnuts. Good wines although I only tried 2. The service was always available and unobtrusive. But the food was described by all friends as not being appropriate for the prices. If you know the cuisine in Austria, a fried chicken looks different than this chicken that was hit by a truck. I've also had spicier salad dressings. As an ambassador for Styria you should offer more.

Ended up here on a warm evening to watch the UEFA 24 football in the biergarten. Despite being busy, service was fast and competent and the food tasty.

We were there for dinner in the evening The service was very friendly. We ordered simple dishes. Nuremberg sausages with sauerkraut, the quality was poor, the sausages were not properly burned and lukewarm, the sauerkraut tasted like it had been warmed up 10 times and didn't taste good. The Leberkäs with potato salad, so mediocre, the homemade salad tasted like it came out of a bucket, made from too much vinegar, the 2 slices of Leberkäs were cut much too thin, a shame How would the onion roast taste for 31 euros? We won't try it.

The food was really ok the first time. The service was already bad back then. Our waiter was arguing loudly with a guest. We were probably just unlucky with the local team both times. But sorry, if I did my job like that, I would already be rid of him. No thank you.
