The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was friendly.

Food OK but nothing special. Saibling (fish) doesn't work with tomato-based vegetable side. Spinach dumplings with mushroom ragout lacking flavour. Prices relatively high, even for organic ingredients. Friendly service.

Very welcoming restaurant. Good food and very friendly staff. The only downside was that I had to wait half an hour for the strudel despite asking several times. I think there was a misunderstanding.

We dined at Klinglwirt on the evening of December 31st and were truly delighted. We had the option of the New Year's Eve menu or the à la carte menu; we opted for the special three-course menu, which included the option to choose the size of the dishes, an idea we greatly appreciated. The menu included: • Chestnut cream with truffle oil, delicate and fragrant • Bavarian venison goulash with creamy red wine sauce and hazelnut spätzle, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced • Gingerbread mousse with plums in red wine, an original and exquisite dessert Every dish was excellent, with careful attention to flavor and presentation: everything was truly delicious. The service was surprisingly quick despite the festive evening, and the staff was extremely kind and attentive. I sincerely recommend this restaurant: we were very impressed and would choose it again without hesitation.

Once again, excellent food, the venison goulash tender and delicious, pleasant atmosphere, always a pleasure to eat here - full marks well deserved!

A nice inn with a cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly, but somewhat slow and inattentive. Looking at the menu, you understand why the place is called Klinglwirt (a play on words combining "Klingl" and "Wirtschaft," meaning innkeeper) – the prices are enough to put you off your food. The food itself was okay.

Everything was great. Excellent service, delicious food, and meat from happy animals. What more could you want?!

Yesterday, we had a small family celebration (86 people) at the Klinglwirt for the first time, and I was absolutely thrilled. The quality and taste of the food were outstanding. We had two roast pork dishes, three Wiener Schnitzel, and one original Wiener Schnitzel. The meat-to-breading ratio on the schnitzels was perfect, and the fried potatoes served with each schnitzel were exceptional—I've never managed to make them that well myself. The roast pork was also excellent; my only criticism is that it lacked a crispy crackling! The sweet Resi dessert at the end perfectly complemented the meal. It certainly won't be the last time we visit the Klinglwirt! By the way, the service was also top-notch!

There are definitely better venues. Very cramped seating, high noise level, and mediocre room temperature.

A fantastic restaurant! The food is excellent, everything is of outstanding quality, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff radiate satisfaction and genuinely care about the well-being of the guests.

Today, the four of us spontaneously decided to eat at Klinglwirt, but we had still made a reservation by phone 30 minutes beforehand, which was definitely a good thing. The restaurant was very busy. The food is a bit pricey, but the quality justifies the cost. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! If I'm ever in Munich again, whether for business or pleasure, I'll definitely try to come back.

We stopped by on a whim and were thrilled with the vegan options, especially the many organic choices. Thank you so much, we'll be back!

Found it by chance because it's close to our hotel. We were pleased. Good prices, and generous portions. Off the beaten path (at least I think), but highly recommended.

A traditional Bavarian inn, serving typical dishes from Schupfnudeln (potato dumplings) to goulash and schnitzel, but all organic. The service is very attentive and friendly. However, the prices are also "organic." €27.90 for Wiener Schnitzel and €9.80 for apple strudel is quite a lot. Add two draft beers, and you're already at €55.

The Gröstl was great, and the gingerbread mousse for dessert was delicious too. Best of all, the attentive and helpful staff! Keep it up!

Delicious and staff were amazing

We had roast pork and Wiener Schnitzel. Both were very tasty. The service and atmosphere were just as you'd expect from a Bavarian inn. But why only 3 stars? I would have preferred a real Wiener Schnitzel, but €42 is simply outrageous. We're talking about approximately 180g of veal, which, in organic quality, should be available for under €40/kg.

It was very quaint and lovely. I think it's great that they source products from the region. One small suggestion would be to switch from plastic straws to reusable ones.

I had the beef goulash with a beer. The food quality was good and the service was nice. I didn’t try other menu items, but overall exactly as I expected. In comparison to similar cuisine restaurants, slightly more expensive. Some menu items have the option to order a smaller or larger portion size, which was nice.

This organic restaurant is a hidden gem. Delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and easily accessible by public transport.

The food was delicious, nice atmosphere, very local. The problem is that I waited 1 hour to get my food! No one checked on me. They could have brought the salad that came with the main course in a separate bowl, pre-made, at any time during the hour i waited, in the middle of the restaurant, near the cash register, or asked if i would like it. As I was dining alone, the hour was very long. I had the spinach spaetzle, which was delicious. When I got the bill, the server told me the tip is not included, so choose a tip amount that I would like. Um, a tip is optional for good or excellent service, which I did not receive. If you decide to eat here, don't come hungry, and be prepared to wait. Every table waited a LONG time for their food!

Delicious food, and all organic! The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger, and the games help pass the time while you wait for your food. Pleasant and friendly service – we'll definitely be back!

Really nice place! We got into Munich at 8:30 and when we arrived at the restaurant we had 5 minutes to order (kitchen closed at 9:30). The vibes were so cozy and felt very Bavarian. I had a fall special dish of pumpkin dumplings. Super nice! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options !

A cozy restaurant with delicious food and few tourists. It was very crowded during the week and quite loud, even though it's not that big. But I definitely recommend going there.

The food was very tasty, except for the red cabbage, where the cinnamon stick must have fallen into the pot. Not my thing, but the rest was very good. It's relatively noisy and the service a bit slow, but friendly.

The most important thing in life is mustard. And it's delicious in the classic Munich schnitzel. An organic restaurant this good deserves three Michelin stars and five toques from Gault-Millau.

The three of us enjoyed it very much, and the service was friendly and attentive. We would have been very happy if the food had been served a little faster (45 minutes), as we were very hungry.

A very cozy inn with good food. A special feature is that the meat, in particular, carries the organic seal of approval. This is reflected in the price, of course, but also in the taste and quality.

Very good vegetarian food, and it's not just cheese spaetzle. They put some thought into the dishes, and you get really good dishes. Nevertheless, there are also meat and other dishes, so you can go here with anyone and everyone will be satisfied. I can recommend this restaurant.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner while on vacation. The pumpkin soup, salad, and snack board were absolutely delicious. The kids' schnitzel was also excellent. The service was super friendly and attentive, and the play area was also great. We were very satisfied.

Authentic food, drinks and atmosphere.

The vegan options are top-notch! We've rarely had such good vegan food anywhere. We'll definitely be coming here more often. Of course, more vegan options would be welcome, but maybe that will happen ;) Service was also very friendly, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a traditional, yet contemporary, inn :)

I went to the Klinglwirt with colleagues for Christmas dinner. Our boss had invited us to the Advent menu, which had something for everyone, both omnivores and vegetarians. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The portion sizes were decent, and everyone was full after the three courses. The ambiance is simple but pleasant. The "boxes" give the room a bit of structure. I particularly like the red wall paneling. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would be happy to return for a private occasion.

Wonderful tradition Bavarian Restaurant. I ate Schnitzel with fried potatoes flavoured with onions and chives. Finished my meal with apple strudel. Lovely warm atmosphere and excellent service.

I asked for lemonade I've got Zitronen, something that is not organic and contains a ton of sugar. When I asked for what I ordered they said I have to pay for both, because you pay for what you didn't ordered It is a nice and real bayerische experience. That I hope I will not experiment again. We were at the Klinglwirt for the first time with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet as well as the grandparents. Bavarian organic, that's the slogan of the Klinglwirt. We ate schnitzel with roast potatoes and cranberries and roast pork with dumplings, white cabbage and dark beer sauce. Beforehand, we drank a "Heiße Inge" to combat the cold outside. This is hot water with ginger, lemon and mint and, if you like, honey. For dessert, we also had treats such as vanilla ice cream with espresso. All in all, a great time at the Klinglwirt. The play corner is particularly good for children because it is quite large. The service was quick and friendly. Finally, we can recommend the Klinglwirt!

Everything was well-cooked and delicious. But "schnitzel is sold out" by 8 p.m. Too busy. Well, that's the downside of the meat being from Herrmannsdorfer and not mass-produced. But the spinach dumplings are also great. Add a Dachauer organic natural beer, and the evening is a success.

We arrived as the kitchen was closing, but they still greeted us warmly. The food was good and organic, but not cheap. The place is cute; it feels like a trip back in time.

The Klinglwirt is a wonderfully well-thought-out establishment. Thanks to a clear concept, the excellent food is sourced locally and is almost exclusively organic. This includes top-quality meat from Herrmannsdorf, as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes from Bavarian cuisine. The inn is easily accessible from Rosenheimer Platz. Attentive and friendly service is provided. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return!

World-class food, child-friendly with children's menus, friendly service, got a table on Friday evening despite no reservation

The food, being purely organic, is understandably a bit pricey. You'll think twice about whether to come once or twice a month. But the quality and taste were truly excellent. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. And it's true: It was (so far) the best schnitzel in Munich.

Good food, decent ambiance, so-so service. Everything took a very long time, even when the place wasn't that busy anymore. They forgot the bill and brought it back 20-30 minutes later. The food was good, but not very good. €21.90 for nothing more than decent spinach and cheese spaetzle is quite a lot. The ambiance was okay, at least outdoors, but nothing special. Overall, the service and the excessive price are the main reasons for the two-star deduction.

The five of us, standing in the rain outside, four of us not going to eat organic. Two hours later, when are we going back? Haha, German, Beyers, and delicious.

The dishes were all delicious (side salads, schnitzel, goulash, sausages with sauerkraut, apple strudel, Bavarian cream). The service was excellent, really friendly, fast, everything was top-notch. The prices are a bit steep, though. I don't know if organic justifies everything, but even the schnitzel at the Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg costs €4 less.

A restaurant we've been visiting for many years. Especially with our kids, it's one of our favorite places, where everyone can enjoy a relaxed meal together. We've rarely experienced such a warm welcome. Thank you for everything!

We celebrated a birthday in a small group. The food was delicious, and the service was very good and friendly. We really enjoyed the Gröstl (small German schnitzel), schnitzel, and the lukewarm chocolate cakes... The meat was from Hermannsdorfer, so it was top-quality organic produce and well worth the price. We sat comfortably outside - fantastic!

A superbly quaint and traditional restaurant. Unfortunately, we were there with a large group on a very hot summer day. Unfortunately, the ventilation wasn't adequate, so it got quite stuffy. Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht! Wir waren schon öfter hier, fanden es immer recht teuer, aber auch gut. Heute hatten wir u.a. das Wiener Schnitzel, natürlich vom Kalb für 41,90 mit Salat und Bratkartoffeln. Wirklich kein Schnäppchen, auch wenn man weiß, dass Bio-Fleisch viel teurer sein muss, als sonstiges. Das Schnitzel war am Anfang ganz ok, aber mehr sicher nicht. Dann waren manche Stellen zäh, sehnig. Wir hätten es bei dem Preis zurück gehen lassen sollen. Unser Fehler. Wir haben es dann leider erst beim Bezahlen der Rechnung geäußert. Unser Fehler. Dennoch: bei diesen Preisen muss andere Qualität geboten werden.

I had a roasted pork with 2 kinds of dumpling as well as one helles beer and one red wine. Taste of beer is no doubt because it is German beer and red wine is also good one recommended by a staff. The roasted pork was quite fantastic both meet itself and source. I think it is worthwhile to try. The staffs are working quickly and professionally that made me very comfortable. I will visit again if I have a chance to come to this area.

Service: Unfortunately, this evening, there was only a table and plate delivery, clearing, and cashier service, with no greeting or farewell. Conclusion: A disappointing first and therefore last visit. The hype is incomprehensible.

Der Klinglwirt bietet eigentlich sehr gute traditionelle bayerische Küche in Bio Qualität. Das hat seinen Preis, der erheblich über den vergleichbarer Lokale in Haidhausen liegt. Leider ist das Personal derart inkompetent, dass allein das Warten auf eine Begrüßung und das Anbieten eines Tisches zum Gnadenamt wird obwohl die Tische nicht alle besetzt sind und die Bedienung gelangweilt herumsteht, würd man als Gast weder begrüßt noch bekommt man einen Tisch angeboten. Man wird einfach ignoriert, es wird an einem vorbeistilziert ohne Begrüßung und so wartet man auf den Gnadenamt, bemerkt zu werden und einen der freien Tische angeboten zu bekommen oft vergeblich. So ging es uns inzwischen schon zum wiederholten Mal. Und irgendwann wendet sich der Gast genervt ab und sucht sich bei der Konkurrenz einen Platz, wo man sich willkommen fühlt. Schade, das Essen wäre ja wirklich fein, aber diese mindestens unprofessionelle Behandlung muss man wirklich bei diesen Preisen nicht dulden. Uns sehr ihr sogleich nicht mehr.

Very disappointing. There were 5.6 small pieces of meat floating in the beer goulash, all carelessly presented. The same can be said about the goat cheese salad, bland and cafeteria-level. The quality does not correspond to the price level.

This is a small boutique style restaurant, had local organic food full of flavour with out standing service, and great beer. We were in Munich for a full seven days and it says a lot as the team visited twice for the right reasons. I would highly recommend this as a great experience. Enjoy.

The food is not only organic and high quality, but prepared with so much love that you can taste it in every bite. Yesterday everything was fantastic again – fresh, creative and beautifully prepared. I would especially like to thank you for the fact that our spontaneous reservation change was received in such a friendly and uncomplicated manner. The entire team is warm, attentive and authentic - you simply feel comfortable and welcome. For us, the Klingelwirt is a place to enjoy, arrive and feel good all around. Thank you for this special experience – we will definitely be back!
