Pogner's in München

Four of us were there. We had the Cordon Bleu. I highly recommend it. It was the best Cordon Bleu of my life! The chocolate cake for dessert was also delicious!

The food was super delicious. I ordered the espetada piripiri and the caldo verde as a starter. Everything was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and took her order super quickly. The only minor issue was that the food took a bit long to arrive, but the quality was worth it.

Nice Bavarian restaurant, good food, with beer garden

A lovely old Bavarian pub with a small beer garden. In addition to Bavarian dishes, they also serve delicious Spanish food. A great mix with friendly service.

Decent prices and great selection of typical local foods (Schmankerl) as well as Portuguese dishes. Good size portions. Service was a bit slow. Location is great, within walking distance to public transportation, parking can be difficult. Pay attention as some of the streets require a local resident permit, others are paid only. The Biergarten is not very big, but perfectly shaded underneath two giant chestnut trees.

Das Essen und der Service waren Top! Auch die Außenterrasse lädt zum Bleiben ein. Gerne wieder! Der Brotkorb war ein wenig enttäuschend. Ich erwarte bei „Brotkorb“ verschiedene Brotsorten und mindestens einen Dip. Da alles andere jedoch super war, trotzdem 5/5!

Absolute recommendation. Food delicious. Great atmosphere, small beer garden under the chestnut tree in summer. Major football events are also taking place. There is a bowling alley in the basement. The staff is always friendly. It's not a large restaurant, so you should definitely make a reservation if you're not lucky.

Cozy, friendly, good food - our favorite pub in Thalkirchen

On my last visit to Pogner, I sat down at the last available table. The two waitresses didn't pay any attention to me for almost 15 minutes, no hello, no drink, no order. Then someone came and said no hello, no time of day, no Dzień dobry, Bom dia, but said that I had to get up and clear the table. After being kicked out, I left the bar hungry. Munich was ranked as a city with the unfriendliest people, which I didn't want to believe. This kind of “lived Munich hospitality” is proof of this. .The one who values ​​receiving good and affordable food, kindness and being treated as a human being. should therefore look elsewhere. In the last two years, the quality of the offer in the pub has decreased and the prices have increased.

Pogner's was my local bar in the neighborhood. That changed in one evening. I am a board member of a self-help association for tenants and rented the bowling alley with some club members. We ordered properly, and in any case the landlord did a good deal with us and made a profit of €100+ for two hours. As I was paying, the landlord snapped at me: He would never rent the bowling alley to me again. We not only bowled, but also talked about club matters. The bowling alley is not intended for meetings. I could only rent the meeting room for €125 and meet my people there. I was banned from renting the bowling alley in the future! I have never been treated so unfairly as a guest in my entire life. I have reserved everything properly, paid all the bills and in the end I am insulted because I don't leave more money? I'm banned from bowling because I not only use the train for two hours, but also have a pleasant chat with my friends? How low can you sink as a host... EDIT: In his publicly viewable response, the owner claims that I did not pay for the first bowling alley reservation with the club. That's a lie. He further claims that our group did not use the bowling alley on the last evening. That too is a lie. We always paid for everything in full and used the train every time. Of course the owner has to lie: Who wants to admit that they scare away guests because they don't leave enough money? Heartless and honorless behavior. Pooh!

Very friendly, the Caesar's salad was incredibly good! Interesting menu, the mix of Bavarian and Portuguese cuisine makes it not easy to choose a dish. So far everything has tasted very good.

Went for brunch. Our first since arriving in Munchen. Staffs' English wasn't great but, expected. They tried their very best to accommodate us and succeeded exceptionally. A great burger (strange for a morning but, we were after a night out). Orange juice was refreshing and definitely needed too! Think the bill was only individually about €22 too. Great Value!

It would be really Bavarian if Schafkopfer could come and eat and drink and then play a few rounds of Schafkopf afterwards. But they are not welcome and are turned away when they request a reservation.

A Bavarian inn with a Portuguese touch - an original combination that you don't find every day. Very nice atmosphere, inviting to linger and cozy thanks to the dark and well-kept wooden furniture - if you like sitting outside, there is space in the small beer garden. You don't have to wait long for the food. The service is friendly and helpful. The food: Upscale, tasty and plentiful. The menu is extensive and offers something for every taste… The restaurant obviously has a lot of regular guests. In addition, many people from the surrounding area get their lunch here.

We were in the neighborhood and visited this restaurant by chance. Surprisingly, the meals were delicious! The service was fast, and the lady who attended to us was amiable. I hope to get an opportunity to revisit this restaurant in the near future and try their Portuguese appetizer selections.

We rented the bowling alley in the basement and were very impressed. When we arrived the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The drinks came quickly and were very tasty. The bowling alley is in top condition and you have peace and quiet. After a few rounds of bowling, we ordered food. Which was not only extremely inexpensive, but also very tasty. The food only came after a short wait, even though we were a large group. Last but not least, we were even allowed to bowl for an hour longer and were served quickly at all times. We will definitely recommend coming back!

We had our baptism last year Daughter celebrated with 30 people at Pogners. We were in a separate room in the basement, which was beautifully decorated and has a great view of the garden. The children were given painting supplies right at the beginning, which made us very happy. We booked the bowling alley and our older children bowled enthusiastically for hours. Awesome environment for a great meal. The service was excellent and the food tasted exceptionally good. In terms of location, it’s a bit outside of the city centre but not too far away, which makes it an even nicer choice if you’re not a big fan of huge crowds and nosiness in dining.

Wir hatten heute unsere Firmenweihnachtsfeier im Pogners. Das Essen ist preislich sehr okay und das Essen war bei allen sehr sehr gut. Es war sehr lecker und eine gute Auswahl. Die Einrichtung ist sehr rustikal und gemütlich. Im Anschluss haben wir noch die Kegelbahn genutzt. Rundum eine sehr gelungene Feier Vielen Dank an das sehr freundliche Personal.

Uriges Lokal mit portuguesisch/bayrischer Küche. Wir haben mit 4 kleinen Kindern einen superguten Tisch bekommen, hervorragend gespeist und wurden freundlich bedient! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Mir ist gerade nach einem Restauranttipp für München: Das "Pogner's" in Thalkirchen, Pognerstraße 5. Portugisisch-Bayrische Küche, die bei jedem Gericht einen kleinen "Kniff" einbaut. Beispiel: im "Schweine Cordon bleu Lisboa Art" wird nicht, wie sonst üblich, schnöder Kochschinken, sondern pikante Chouriço verpackt. Mit Pommes und Salat 16,50 €. Da kann man nicht meckern! Neu auf der Karte und derzeit mein Favorit: Waldpilzrisotto auf Gemüsebett mit gegrillten Rindermedaillons für 17,90€ (siehe Bild). Ein Gericht, das man nicht mal so nebenher zubereiten kann und das dem Koch eine Falle nach der anderen stellt. Im Pogner's perfekt!

Lovely evening with family. Delicious food too. 4 stars as the french fries were toooo salty and 2 of us ordered different beef dishes and we weren't asked how we want the beef cooked and mine came rare. I probably could've said something but after a few bites I didn't feel like eating the beef anymore. Leftovers, cooked the way i like, tasted good the next day! Will defi come back though. The ambience is very cozy but it does tend to get really loud in there.

Rustikales Ambiente, typisch bayerisches Essen und portugiesische Spezialitäten. Obwohl es sehr voll war, wurden wir zügig bedient und das Essen(Bacalao asado und Zanderfilet)kam auch sehr zeitnah. Das Servicepersonal war freundlich zuvorkommend. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten München Besuch gerne wieder.

Sat on the patio outside and enjoyed a fantastic salad and a beer at the end of a busy day. The salad was next-level quality and the menu items did have some Bavarian flare and some with originality like the octopus salad. This was a very pleasant surprise find
