Great service, delicious food! I would be happy about smaller dishes with beer or Sprizz (finger food in Bavarian). Where did Sissi's Strawberry Sprizz go? Otherwise everything was great! Will definitely come back!

It's a gem, I've been there twice when visting Munich, their food is amazing and fresh especially their Steckerl Fisch which is only served seasonal but a must have. Service has always been great

A waiter (Marco) who celebrates his job and whose professional attitude one can unfortunately only dream about these days. Really authentic, delicious Bavarian cuisine in the same location. The Alte Wirt in Moosach is the oldest inn in Munich and highly recommended!

The food is really amazing, the service is great, always open to every request and the ambience is rustic and beautiful. Does it look up to the ceiling? You will then really see it.

Went to the old inn on Sunday at 6 p.m., yes everything is getting more expensive and so an evening in a restaurant is unfortunately no longer a given for us. We had the beef ribs (they were good and sufficient, the potatoes weren't very seasoned) and the veal schnitzel... My goodness, for just under 30 euros you can at least fry the schnitzel cleanly and not only boil the supposed fried potatoes but also fry them :-(, sorry but unfortunately today the price/performance ratio wasn't right when 62 euros are left for two dishes and two drinks then you just expect more than OK.

They have a lunch menu for around €14! Very German place for traditional food and beer. It is worth going down from Moosach to eat in this place and then continue with your trip, we have come on a trip and on all the journeys we have stopped safely. The sky of jugs in the central dining room stands out. It's bad if you come in a hurry on a very busy day, they go slow

Real German pub and restaurant. Wooden benches and large tables. Not quite Deutsche Dirnen in traditional costume as waitresses. Just delicious German dishes for a German (not expensive Dutch) price. Worth to visit and eat. Own parking space, so you don't have to search long for a place to park your car. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful evening in this Bavarian restaurant! The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a traditional Bavarian restaurant – quaint, cozy and full of charm. The food was outstanding! The pretzel schnitzels are highly recommended and the portions are generous. The prices are very fair and offer excellent value for money. What is particularly noteworthy is how child-friendly the restaurant is. The staff was very attentive and friendly to you, which is unfortunately no longer a given. We will definitely be back and can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience real Bavarian cuisine in a relaxed and family-friendly environment!

The atmosphere is very cozy, especially the beer garden in summer. The menu is varied and so far everything has always been very tasty. The waiters are attentive and drinks and food are served promptly. I always enjoy coming here, even if it's just for a beer after work. 😉

In the summer, the Wirtgarten invites you to come and serve only beer at major events. Then the service staff is also in great demand, so you should bring some time with you. Money: you should have it with you. The prices are reasonable. Beer: Hofbräu beer is always a good choice, with the seasonal beers (Zwickl, Oktoberfest beer) being particularly drinkable. Very nice inn with delicious food and good service. There is a slight deduction because service sometimes takes a long time and there are no bread dumplings. The small new playground in the beer garden is also great!

We had dinner twice at this Bavarian restaurant, both outside and inside. Both locations are very pleasant. Excellent food, for all the dishes tried. Friendly and pleasant staff. Correct prices compared to the quality and quantity of food. The only complaint, but not only for this place, is the disproportionate cost of bottled mineral water.

We celebrated our son's 1st birthday here and everything we wanted was possible. It was great that the restaurant management (Rainer) was very present and the waitresses (Anastasia & another - unfortunately forgot the name..) always worked their magic around us with the right sensitivity and not intrusively. The tables were always clean and you were never left dry! The food was wonderful - the feedback from guests was consistently positive! Thanks to the entire team for this wonderful evening! We came through a recommendation and were very disappointed. Unfortunately the beef ribs were served to us ice cold. And by ice cold I really mean ice cold… they felt like they were from the day before and were rock hard. Unfortunately absolutely inedible and unacceptable! I was very shocked how you could serve the “food” to a customer. Similar case with the duck, just as cold and dry. After a friendly complaint, this case was kindly CONFIRMED by the service, but there was still no accommodation in terms of price. The full price of almost €300 was collected. It's a real shame - unfortunately this was our last visit.

Very tasty food in a cozy brewery atmosphere. We ate outside in the beautiful courtyard. The service staff were very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food we ordered. We would love to come back!

We were there with our daughters (U7) and it was very pleasant as the food came quickly. Little Spieli bridged the waiting time well. The pork knuckle and pretzel schnitzel were very good and the spaetzle with sauce was so delicious that we dug up the rest and took it home with us ;)

We are regulars at the Altes Wirt and will soon be celebrating a baptism for the second time in the separate little house... all in all, I have to say: always worth a visit... regardless of whether it's for a beer in the rustic but beautiful guest room, breakfast in the mature beer garden ( for children even with a playground and rabbits) or as an event location (organization was super relaxed and despite almost 40 people, the food came to everyone at the same time 🤯)

A Bavarian Beergarden where the locals go....away from all the tourist places in the center of Munich. Food and drinks are very traditional, god intaste and big in size....on Sundays the have Bavarian music... I line the place, always good to go for a beer and excellent food.

I recently visited the beer garden and was completely impressed. The beer garden is a true gem, surrounded by magnificent chestnut trees that create a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect place to unwind on a warm summer day. The service was also outstanding. The staff was always friendly, attentive and very accommodating. Whether it was about quickly taking orders or special requests, everything was done promptly and with a smile. The selection of drinks and food is varied and leaves nothing to be desired. From cold beer to delicious Bavarian delicacies - everyone will find what they are looking for here. I can only warmly recommend the beer garden to everyone. Definitely worth a visit!

We were at the old innkeeper's for a comedy dinner from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 20, 2024. Soup, main course from the menu was good, service was quick and friendly. But during the break I had to use the toilet in the men's toilet, it smelled of urine and the toilet seat was broken and dirty.

Of course the restaurant is not a star. But while I was having dinner with my wife, the waiter knocked over my half-full beer glass. The beer glass broke and the beer spilled on my wife. Then the waiter went and brought a half-full beer. Such a service concept cannot exist. and that's why it's a 1 star restaurant for us.

We were there for the first time last night to end the evening with delicious food and a cyclist in the beautiful weather. The location is very nice and easy to reach. The service was very friendly and the food and drinks were quick. We particularly liked that there are some vegan and vegetarian dishes. We will come back in any case!

Very tasty food, good atmosphere. This restaurant is imbued with Bavarian aesthetics. The portions are large and beautiful, the combination of flavors is wonderful. The plate is beautifully decorated. There is a summer terrace, which is in the shade under the trees, and because of this, even in the heat it is very cool outside. There is also a very pleasant atmosphere and beautiful interior inside. The staff's work is very fast and efficient. Our server was very friendly. I recommend this restaurant 100% and will come to it again.
