We were there for the first time and followed the app's recommendation for gluten-free restaurants in Munich. All in all, a very successful visit! The staff was very attentive, personable and also very knowledgeable and attentive regarding the gluten-free options. In addition to the gluten-free schnitzel and beer, there are other options that are declared on the menu. The food was delicious and the next time we are in Munich we will definitely come back. Absolutely recommended, even for people with celiac disease / gluten intolerance! :)

We ended up here by chance and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Stefan served us warmly. We'll definitely be back.

The food is good, with a lot of variety and the dishes are very generous, which is a plus. The service is good, the waiter who served us was very kind and friendly, and they were also quite fast. The ambiance is nice, very Bavarian, and also pub style. Overall it would have been a 5 star experience, but one star must be removed because when we paid they didn't show us the bill with the list of what we had eaten and there was some extra money that we didn't explain, it was probably a tip. In the end, however, very recommended.

Everything perfect and super delicious!! Unfortunately I have to deduct one star for the closed coffee machine at 9 p.m.

We had a lovely evening with very tasty food and super friendly service. However, I think the prices are really incredibly high, a schnitzel or an onion roast for €30 is simply overpriced.

Very good food and great service

Unfortunately the cordon bleu with fried potatoes was only lukewarm. It was warmed up again, so the fried potatoes were soaked in oil. The onion roast was ok, maybe it should have been in the pan for a minute longer. We had a voucher from B MY Munich. For a dish over €30 I expect more. It was reported to the kitchen, but we had nothing about it. Overall unsatisfactory. Service was very nice. The plague of flies in sanitary areas is extremely annoying.

Loved the Käsespätzle here. Very nice food. Kudos to Max, who was very kind and helpful to us.

As always, the food was delicious, the service was good and committed. Certainly not the cheapest in the area but definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful inn, nicely and comfortably furnished. The service (Stefan) was excellent. However, the onion roast was almost a disgrace. For 27.50 euros we ate the smallest onion roast ever. It felt like 100g of meat, no trace of delicate pink. The fried potato was lukewarm and totally cheesy. So dear ones, you should be able to offer a bit more for the money. Unfortunately that was nothing.

Been here for the first time and had a delicious meal. The portions could have been a little more generous for the price. Otherwise cozy and not intrusive.

The small downside was the noise, but otherwise it's a cozy pub. The food not only looks good, it tastes good too. But the icing on the cake was Julia, our server that evening. She topped the service with her good mood. Thank you very much

There were three of us there and we sat outside when the weather was nice. The drinks and food came quickly and the service was friendly. The portions were quite large and the food tasted wonderful. We were very satisfied. Thank you dear Hohenwart team, we will definitely be back! 👍😀

Quaint traditional Bavarian restaurant with delicious food, an ancient bowling alley and very friendly service. We had a lot of fun. - The best way to get there is by public transport.

Was invited here. There was a very good mock roast with potato and bread dumplings and coleslaw, a cool shandy. The crusted pork roast was excellent, the dumplings a little soggy. Service friendly and quick.

Cozy atmosphere, professional service. Very daring, but successful: pineapple/mint shandy. Cream of tomato soup was noticeably too thin. Roast pork is a reason not to come back: Although it was labeled as a neck ridge, it was still too flaxy - both dumplings were tasteless and salt-free, and the coleslaw was a loveless wholesale market product. The sauce is tasty, but you can't get it out of the way. The area needs more competition, there is no “bourgeois eatery” to be found anywhere, despite the high population density.

My food arrived cold and we warmed it up again - it wasn't recommended - the burgers were half raw and the waiter didn't ask us how we wanted the burgers 🍔 - it wasn't on the menu that you only get fried burgers here My food was returned and the waiter was pretty pissed.

Delicious Bavarian food, in a lovely old Bavarian atmosphere. You won't find such friendly staff anywhere else in Munich!

The food was excellent and the homemade lemonade was a dream. Portions are large and the price matches the quality of the food and drinks perfectly. There were 4 of us there and everyone loved the atmosphere and the waiters. They were super nice and incredibly fast. We would love to come back 👌

Located in cute little Munich streets, next to small old houses. Selected good dishes on the menu, very courteous, friendly service and the dog got something straight away.

Beautiful and above all very cozy inn. We immediately felt comfortable. The service was very friendly and attentive. People asked several times whether they had another wish. Empty glasses were also quickly seen. We had cheese spaetzle and roast pork for dinner and were very satisfied. Happy to come back!

Portion was very small. Taste was just OK, nothing special . No salad to expansive meal or for that no vegetables either. 😕 won't be going there again in a hurry. Find it sad when you leave a restaurant still hurry 😢

Rustic - very nice service - burger was very good, but quite manageable for € 17.80. Visited by many age groups. Relaxed atmosphere. Because of the large tables, people often sit together, which contributes to the sociability. Unfortunately the acoustics are very loud.

Schöne Münchner Wirtschaft. Sehr nettes Personal und Bodenständige Preise. Öffentlich gut mit dem Auto wegen Parkzone mittelmäßig zu erreichen. Und es gibt eine Kefelbahn zur Gaudi.

Uriges Wirtshaus, aber halt in hip. Solide Speisekarte und gute Getränkeauswahl. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.. Das aber sind die Preise… das Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb, das darf natürlich 25 kosten aber so Basics wie Fish and Chips für knappe 19 Euro..echt? Da gibts so ein paar Ausreißer, die irgendwie nicht zur Location passen..

Die Bedienungen waren freundlich, schnell und haben das gebracht was man bestellt hat. Das Essen war super. Alles wunderbar. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Typisches bayrisches Wirtshaus, flotter, freundlicher Service . Wenn man die Gaststube betritt, riecht es schon so gut, da läuft einen das Wasser im Mund zusammen, es schmeckt auch sehr gut. Ein bisserl eng saßen wir zusammen, hat aber auch gepasst. Dann noch Kegelbahn, war ein toller Abend

Unser Stammtisch mit 18 Männern war diesesmal im Hohenwart - von der Reservierung bis zur Bezahlung Top! Die Biere von Maier Bräu sind durchgehend süffig - ob Kellerbier im gekühlten Krug, Weißbier oder Helles. Unser Essen kam fast zeitgleich für alle👍🏼 - geschmacklich top, Portionen mehr als reichlich...lediglich a bissl heißer hätt es sein können. Unsere Kellner waren super, schnell & freundlich! Gerne wieder!😉

Prima Lokal mit nettem Ambiente mitten in Giesing. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung, der Service prima.

10 e lode a questo Ristorante tipico Bavarese, frequentato soprattutto dai tedeschi ,si rimane piacevolmente colpiti per l’ottima qualità dei cibi tipici bavaresi proposti a prezzi veramente onesti … Il locale è molto carino , il personale è giovane e molto gentile .. C’è un surplus che lo rende ancora più appetibile, ed è un bellissimo bouwling di legno in stile un po’ retro, che si può prenotare per una partita , per finire la serata con gli amici .. direi unico nel suo genere .. ..assolutamente consigliassimo… e da ritornarci ..

Traditionelle Wirtschaft in schöner Altstadtlage. Parken ist Glückssache. Bayerische Kegelbahn (vorab reservieren!). Viele Weihnachtsfeiern. Dann ist es sehr voll und laut.
