Service a bit musty, otherwise ok

We were recently invited there. The menu is nothing special for Munich. Everything was okay so far. However, it doesn't convince us to return in the future. I would like to add a lot more zest to your menu. The staff could also be a bit more welcoming and smile more.

We arrived for dinner at 9 p.m. and they told us the kitchen was closed and they didn't give us anything to eat. When the internet, Google, and their website said it was open, it was a disaster.

The food was OK, but way too expensive. A Swiss sausage salad without a proper Regensburg sausage for almost €15 is disproportionate.

Nothing to complain about. Fast service, excellent menu. I have to admit that the food came very quickly even though the garden was full. Sandbox for children, good beer. Parking available. Very reasonable prices.

Great for eating or ordering. I ordered a large order for pickup a few days ago, and the portions were great, like the knuckle of pork. They included enough sauce for all the dishes that came with sauce.

It's always nice there. Only one very small drawback: the benches in the beer garden could be a bit more comfortable. But I always enjoy going there.

The food is pretty good but expansive for what it is. The waitress is pretty rude and not caring about your needs. I asked for an espresso and they gabe normal coffee in an espresso cuo. Terrible experience. Two stars just for the place (beautiful) and the food of medium quality

We came back here after a year. Unfortunately, the service wasn't friendly. We didn't feel comfortable. It was still pretty empty, so it wasn't because of the busyness. Actually, a nicely located restaurant. It's a shame.

We were here for the first time today and can highly recommend this restaurant. Our dog was welcome, and they brought him water and a treat, which isn't something you'd expect, which made us all the more pleased. The service was friendly and humorous. The food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long. The ingredients looked fresh and tasted that way, too. The fried potatoes could have been a little crispier and a bit more generous. Otherwise, an all-around enjoyable stay!

American, mostly English speaker. The ladies here managed english just fine with me - maybe even giggled at my struggles a bit to speak Deutsch. Sat me down in the corner... And made me the best damn food I've had during my 2 weeks in Germany. Pretzel, Dark Wheatbeer, Schnitzel and potato dumplings. All so incredibly tasty. The service was also great, and from my outsider point of view the place was abuzz, and all the customers here were having a great time (it was around 1700).

We visited the restaurant during our vacation. The food was generally very good and everyone enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. Other tables were being cleared while we were taking our orders, to name just one example. The waiters spoiled the mood for a long, relaxing meal. A shame. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.

A really nice beer garden, great food, very friendly staff, and the Hugo, amazing, the best I've had in all of Munich. We were in Munich over the weekend and ate there every evening because we loved the food and enjoyed it so much!

A great little beer garden with a Munich feel, not too far from the trade fair. All the food we had was good. We had the roast pork, the liver, and the Obatzda (a kind of fried sausage). The pretzels are amazing! The service was also excellent. I'd love to come back.

Traditional Bavarian cuisine 🍖, friendly service and a super nice 🍺 garden

We had a very pleasant stay in your cozy beer garden with delicious food and exceptionally polite service (even though she has a lot of Asian tattoos, a very Bavarian accent, but also speaks good English and even wears a Harley Davidson belt with a waiter's pouch. We asked her about it later when paying and were touched by what it all meant). The welcome at the table was warm, with the phrase: "What can I do for you all?" With repeated thanks from our guests: "That's what I'm here for!" I've rarely experienced such a friendly waitress. Our main reservationist was also very impressed, and our next team meeting will focus on this special and valuable encounter. You can be proud of your employee and, of course, your entire company!

We visited this lovely beer garden twice. Both times, the food was absolutely delicious. The Kaiserschmarren dessert was a dream. We drove from the Hofbräuhaus to this beer garden especially to eat this delicious Kaiserschmarren. A must-try when you're there.

We went there for lunch – absolutely recommended! It was quick, the food was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. And I'm still grateful for the recommendation of the affogato instead of the double espresso!

The restaurant is located in a beautiful place, far from the bustle of the city. There are many trees and greenery around. Also close to the bus stop. I really liked the knuckle, one of the most delicious ones I tried in Germany. I really liked the goat cheese with thyme and sauce. Of the minuses: the salad was sandy, which spoiled the taste. Also, the waiter was inattentive. We asked to repeat the dish, they brought us something different from what we asked for. But overall, we had good impressions of this place.

Delicious food that goes beyond the standard beer garden fare. Great, regional game. And all in an authentic atmosphere.

It was a spontaneous visit with a friend. Were there on Saturday around 2 p.m. Beautiful location, inside and out. Nice beer garden. Like in old times. Service - service super friendly, on point, humorous, quick and in appropriate clothing. Food is super good and fresh. Clear recommendation. I would love to come back.

A very cozy inn with a beer garden

We enjoyed it so much that we returned for three consecutive evenings. We had the opportunity to try several dishes, including the roast and the schnitzel, all very good. The salad with goat's cheese is delicious, the kaiserschmarn is excellent. Special mention for the waitress Rosa (of Italian origins) who served us with care and attention!

Typical German Restaurant.. Loud speaking Germans, eating and drinking screaming to hear each other and having fun. Food is good, service is... dependent on the waiter... The experience worth a visit. The atmosphere is one time experience... Small menu (daily menu) probably changes often, but the food is really good... Almost reach the quality and taste of the bulgarian cuisine. Parking in the neighborhood might be a problem...but few blocks away and some walk it is needed after that much food. Visit it. Worth a try! Recommend it.

It's nice to sit outdoors, The Kaiserschmarrn used to be very fine, now it is good and 1/3 less, the onion meat was also good but not as fine as the last time. It's actually a shame

Seldom experienced something so unfriendly. After a 3 1/2 hour drive we came to the inn with our children (1 & 3) for dinner. Our children were, as children can be, a bit whiny. My husband and I took turns going out with the two of them. When my husband came back to the inn, the waitress warned him that the children should finally be quiet and not run around, otherwise they would disturb other guests. Unfortunately, another negative example of family-friendliness in restaurants 👎🏼👎🏼 The food was okay, but unfortunately the service was only moderately friendly. Unfortunately not a recommendation, especially not with children.

The food is always very tasty and I always look forward to the Sennerschkitzel (highly recommended). The food is always freshly prepared and the staff is extremely friendly. A real enrichment for Munich.

Cozy Bavarian inn with a sunny beer garden, cozy inn and winter garden. We ordered a schnitzel “Viennese style” and a fried chicken. Our wish to have a coleslaw instead of the potato salad was happily fulfilled. Thank you Rosa for the friendly service. We particularly enjoyed the food and would love to come back.

A Bavarian restaurant with a nice ambience, good service and all kinds of delicious food. A small beer garden is on offer. Parking is a bit difficult at the inn.

Unfortunately things have slowed down a bit recently. Still very nice, especially the beer garden.

On the recommendation of our salesman Mr. Hoeßer from Geygercars, we are here for the second time today. A wonderful economy. The conditions were very friendly and the food was delicious. So, don't think about it too much, come here and enjoy the taste.

We didn't have a reservation and got a table. Thank you for that. The service was quick and eager. The restaurant seems to be very popular. Among other things, a tour group was also present. That made it quite loud. The broth was wonderful. However, the second course, the baked potato, was not convincing. Even though the plate was beautifully presented, the potato itself gave the impression that it had already been in the oven several times. That's why it didn't taste particularly good. When it came to cashing out, the waiter's tip of almost 3 euros was probably not enough. He rolled his eyes and left.

What a great little spot. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere, great service. Went later on a Sunday after landing in Munich only hours earlier and this was just the thing we needed to ease our jet lag. Schnitzel was on point, lagers were cold and crispy, and the service was great.

We have enjoyed eating there for years. Winter garden available and in summer you can also dine in the beer garden. You are also welcome to try the hazelnut schnapps.

Food is decent but staff is unfriendly.

Despite the full house and unfortunately without a reservation, we were able to get a table free for 1.5 hours, a very commendable effort! Excellent food, fair prices for the dishes on offer!

Mixed result. Men's toilets need improvement. Service was beyond criticism. Good value for money based on the food. I wouldn't use it again for events.

Just as you would expect from a typical Bavarian inn: nice atmosphere, friendly service, typical dishes on the menu. Unfortunately also typical for Bavarian inns: Vegetarians and vegans don't get their money's worth: Vegetarian offer: Kaspressknödel or Kasspatzn - Sattkoma I'm coming… And vegans can only order an Indian vegetable curry. You don't go there for that It would be nice if something happened there in the future, then I (vegetarian) would definitely come more often.

On the way to Italy, overnight stay in the Zamdorf district. Dinner in the Zamdorf beer garden, in a great ambience with wonderful Bavarian specialties.

We were there after a conference with 40 people and had dinner. We had chosen the food in advance, but such a large group of course always means stress for the service staff. However, nothing was noticeable, the service was super friendly, very attentive and handled this large group easily. The starter, main course and dessert were very tasty and the hot dishes came to the table warm, which is often not the case with large groups. Whether alone or in a group, it wasn't the last time I'd been to the Zamdorfer Wirtshaus!

We were just visiting Munich and discovered this restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. It was heavenly! Absolutely fantastic food, great service and absolutely clean. It was already decorated for Christmas, all in all wonderful! We would be happy to come back next time we visit Munich!

It was a very smooth process to arrange for a company event. Christian and his team were so amazing. Everyone loved their food, and service from the team. It was a small, cozy restaurant while makes you feel close to everyone. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Very nice, quiet restaurant. Food was really tasty and large portions. Conditions were really brisk and, as you would expect in Munich, you didn't have to wait long for a freshly tapped half.

I would like to start with a big compliment to our waitress yesterday, who always looked after us 4 “young men” with wit and charm. The food in my case SchniPoSa (Schitzel, fries, salad) was very good and, above all, very filling at reasonable prices. All in all, really very good and recommended. Extension through October 25, 2024 Now 3 years later things have changed, except that there were five of us. The two girls in service were unbeatable. The food was very good as expected. Still a clear recommendation.

Rustic Bavarian economy, pork sausages with cabbage very tasty. Franziskaner wheat beer at just the right temperature. Cut spade also very tasty. Service ladies deserve special mention. Absolutely on point and totally friendly. It was a very nice get-together. We'll be back. DJBoozzy when you have a party 🎧🎼😉
