Very good economy with good food and excellent service. Cozy atmosphere. Prices are not exactly cheap, but as already mentioned, good quality and large portions! All in all very good!! Attached is the current menu from February 2025

Delicious Kaiserschmarrn, but the portion size was enough for a full lunch the next day.

The restaurant and the ambience are nice. The service was really on the ball and nice. The onion roast roast we ordered was tough and full of tendons and therefore not edible. To replace the bad food, I was offered an espresso or a schnapps. Reasonably, the court's calculation should have been dispensed with. That's why I only get one star.

A super delicious Bavarian restaurant right in the heart of Schwabing. The prices are appropriate for the location and the quality of the food you get is really outstanding! The only thing that still has room for improvement is the bread dumpling, which unfortunately tasted a bit sticky. When we visited, the inn was completely full, so we had to wait a few minutes longer. But the staff handled the situation very professionally and didn't let the stress show, even though everyone was constantly racing - chapeau! We'd love to come back ☺️

We were there spontaneously on Saturday and got a seat at a table that was later reserved, even without a reservation. Incredibly friendly service, beautiful traditional Bavarian parlor with rustic furnishings! Food was excellent, everything was very freshly prepared! Price performance absolutely fine! We would love to come back and look forward to being in Munich again!!

The two of us were just there for a quick beer. Even though it was already quite full, we managed to get a seat at the table with a smaller group without a reservation. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. My friend ordered the roast pork and I had the Weinbauer Schnitzel and they were equally delicious! We sat outside but if you're allergic to bees, stay inside! Bees are common in the summer wherever you are in Germany! Our server, Phillip is an aviation enthusiast and was very charming and welcoming. I'm coming back here!

I visited the Weinbauer restaurant in Munich again in August 2024 and, as always, I was absolutely thrilled. The location is simply great - relaxed and cozy, perfect for hanging out. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, you immediately feel welcome. And the food? Just fantastic! Every dish was top. We come here often and will definitely come back again and again. Clear recommendation!

Be sure to try the currywurst and apple cakes! It was uniquely delicious! The sausage is nice and spicy, the sauce is fruity and slightly spicy. The cakes are hot, crispy and appley. We would come back just for that. :-) The atmosphere is nice and rustic.

We "only" ate there and don't regret the culinary trip to the hidden second row of houses away from the hustle and bustle of the main street! Everything delicious, reasonable waiting times and super friendly staff! The Kaiserschmarrn deserves special mention. Freshly prepared with a stated preparation time of around 30 minutes. This wait is definitely worth it! I have never eaten such a large and delicious portion and it definitely justifies the price! Just please leave enough space and order/eat with at least two people. Otherwise you can also get a doggy bag to take with you 😉

Reservation 10 people for 5 p.m. It's raining. 5 degrees. We were there 10 minutes earlier. We are acknowledged, but no door opens so that we can at least wait in the entrance area. No, the candles have to be lit calmly first. The food was good but the service was a bit slow. Reservation only for 2.5 hours. Next time I'll choose a different restaurant.

Bavarian restaurant with beautiful wooden tables. The menu almost exclusively contains meat dishes, but they are very tasty. The beer is from Hacker-Pschorr, but at least it's on tap. A lot of visitors and therefore loud. Good conversation is hardly possible.

The perfect place to enjoy Bavarian specialties. I was really impressed and will definitely come back here. Hats off to the suckling pig. The beer also tastes very good. See you soon 👋

roast beef from Abendskarte was nice. service as always in German restaurants - nothing to count on.

On March 21st, 2024, three of us were at the wine farmer and all three of us had chili loin (a €19.90) ordered. The meat was completely tough, with tendons running through it and everything else but loin. The winemaker from earlier times is no longer recognizable, as rising prices go hand in hand with declining quality. This was definitely our last visit to the wine farm!

Weinbauer has been one of my absolute favorite restaurants for years. In my opinion, quality, feel-good guarantee and service are guaranteed. I have already spent birthdays, family celebrations, regular meetings or short visits here. I was never disappointed. The change of annual decorations is always a feast for the eyes. Keep it up!

Had an amazing meal. Had the house specialty schnitzel in a pretzel crumb which was absolutely delicious. Also had the Kaiserchmarrn, which has to be up there in one of the best desserts I have had. Is massive (at least for two) but was absolutely amazing and a must get, there version is unlike any other.

Rustic and very cozy without being cliched or kitschy. Full without being overcrowded. Upscale Bavarian cuisine without being aloof. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

It is a great Bavarian place with excellent service. One of the few places I have praised for good service. Food is also fantastic and a dish I highly recommend is the König Ludwig Bleu, which is a cordon Bleu with truffled Salami instead of Ham. Its just one block away from Leopoldstrasse, cant go wrong by eating here.
