The light beer was poured absolutely badly. For a brewery!!! Helles: no foam, no carbonation. After two minutes an apple spritzer. Back. Food okay. But that was it.

Very nice inn. It looks inviting from the outside, but you feel really comfortable inside. It looks rustic and has a typical Bavarian flair. The food is very and and the service is top. If possible, requests are taken into account and the friendly staff came regularly to check that everything was going well. The prices are of course adapted to the experience, but that is bearable. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Based on the reviews, we wanted to get our own impression. The ambience sober, expressionless! The service greeted us in a friendly manner and that was it for quite some time, even though there were three ladies busy and the restaurant was not very busy. After we were served and the order was taken, the food came very quickly. These were tasty and of good quality! Since we weren't convinced by the service and the ambience, we won't come here again and won't recommend it!

We immediately noticed the Weissbräuhaus during our visit to Ingolstadt and our expectations were not disappointed. It's a quaint, bright restaurant, the food is really good and plentiful, and the service is extremely friendly. What more could you want? Clear recommendation from us. A little tip: we already made a reservation at lunchtime for the evening, and although we like to eat around 6 p.m., we wouldn't have been able to get a seat without the reservation. We would like to thank Weissbräu for two nice evenings.

The food is really great, drinks are also A1 and well chilled. The staff is really nice and attentive.

Good restaurant with a small indoor beer garden. Local beer, rustic and quite loud when full, as befits a decent pub. The kitchen has been cooking up and down over the last few years, but is currently doing well again. The dishes are hearty, the portions are decent, and the prices are normal. We like to go here with foreigners because it seems quite Bavarian.

Nice restaurant, unfortunately increased noise due to the constant loud sorting of various cutlery. Is very disturbing while eating. Should be changed urgently.

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right. Priced at the upper limit, quality only at canteen level. I used to enjoy eating here. Don't come back anytime soon.

Very good Bavarian cuisine. For the second time I had the roast pork, which together with the potato dumpling and the sauce is to die for. You can't get this dish better anywhere. We didn't like the white cabbage salad a year ago, but this time it was outstanding. However, the dumpling could be a little bigger. If you're hungry, you should definitely order a side salad. Speaking of side salad: It's nice that the food comes quickly, but the salad can be brought before the meal and not 3 minutes later. My wife had the Munich Schnitzel, which was also very good. About the beer: The wheat beer tastes very fresh, it couldn't be better. The service has been good and attentive on all visits so far. About the ambience: Nice outside (pedestrian zone) - the only small drawback: the chairs are not very comfortable. Unfortunately, I don't think it's that nice inside - a bit bare and loveless. In addition, the tables are quite narrow. All in all: The Weissbräuhaus is a must when visiting Ingolstadt. I plan to try something different next time, but I'll probably end up with the wonderful roast pork again.

Very rustic Baryerian restaurant in the heart of Ingolstadt. There are two outdoor areas. Inside, when there's a lot going on, the seating is relatively tight. Always friendly and courteous service. Very extensive menu with a Bavarian focus. Even when there is a lot of traffic, the food is served quickly. Absolutely recommended for a visit!

Price/performance is very good for Ingolstadt. The service is on point and you get everything you would expect in a Bavarian kitchen. The ambience is a bit oppressive in the inner courtyard, but that's often not possible in the city center. Directly on the pedestrian zone it seems a bit more open, but the spaces there are filled up very quickly.

Typical Bavarian cuisine. Very fast and friendly service. We only had to wait 10 minutes from ordering to serving.

Authentic Bavarian restaurant. The roast knuckle was excellent. I had mixed feelings during the service: the lady was not very polite, almost, but the waiter, who also spoke Hungarian, was able to compensate for this in the end.

Miserable service and average food. We had to wait 1.5 hours for white sausages with pretzels. The pretzels were of cheap frozen quality. The service was absolutely unfriendly and incompetent. The highlight was the “pot” in which the sausages were served.

I've always had very good food in Bavaria, but this boiled beef was the worst I've ever had. The meat was bland and completely dry. I suspect it was reheated in the microwave, just like the potatoes. The horseradish sauce was a soggy roux with no horseradish taste, the only tasty thing was the savoy cabbage. The meat was so tough that I almost couldn't cut it with a knife. I gave half of my meat to my dog, which wasn't a problem as it was cooked with absolutely no salt. That was the last time I ate at this restaurant

I am surprised by this beautiful relaxed atmosphere. The food came quickly and tasted perfect. Homemade sauces and super friendly service. A recommendation in Ingolstadt. We spent a lovely evening there. At the next stop in Ingolstadt we will brake there again.

If I could give 6 stars I would want to give 7. Finally a pub where home-made is at the top of the menu Service is simply the best in town, not just Lederhosen for appearances. And not a standard porridge. It wasn't the last time I was here. Clearly recommend the raspberry schnapps. Dennis is just a 🚀 every little thing is taken care of.

I wouldn't normally consider meatloaf restaurant food when traveling, but I often choose the daily special to try new things. OMG, Bavarian meatloaf is fantastic! Coupled with a refreshing cucumber salad and mild dark beer, it was a memorable meal on a hot summer day. Highly recommended!

If you want to have a view of the promenade, the beer garden in front of the restaurant is ideal; for those who like something a little more tranquil, the inner courtyard is ideal. Friendly service, extensive menu with a Bavarian focus, everyone will find something suitable here at fair prices. We had Viktualienmarkt salad and a mushroom cream schnitzel. Both tasty, especially the cream sauce was very tasty. Absolutely recommended.

I had dinner there for the third time in 2024, it was always equally good, but every time I thought to myself, otherwise the schnitzel would be bigger and the fries more. If I'm not completely mistaken, in 2022 and 2023 the Wiener-style schnitzel came with a small side salad.

The place is brilliant! The restaurant corresponds to the pictures and has a real Bavarian character. The place is located in the heart of the old town, in a cozy little street. The staff is helpful, they work in authentic clothes❤️. We weren't even surprised that one of the servers spoke to us in Hungarian. The food is plentiful, and they taste great too. Anyone who likes beer will find what suits their taste here ❣️ Food and drinks are reasonably priced! If you're going there, definitely come here!

I stop there regularly when I'm passing through. Unfortunately it's not as good as it used to be. The portions are getting smaller, the prices are going up, and it doesn't taste as good anymore. Will be going somewhere else soon.

The food today was "quite ok" Like two other guests at the table, I had the Weißbräupfandl. When it came to spaetzle, all three of them had cheese spaetzle. We ask ourselves, was something mixed together here? Or with a spoon on all dishes without stirring?

Delicious and very good food here two weeks ago. Schnitzel met all my requirements and was perfect and the weizen beer is literally world class (World Beer Award). I will definitely go back here again!

Very loud, salad unfortunately very salty, unfortunately long wait for drinks and food

Great selection of local German foods and local beers at a very reasonable price and very generous sized serving. We had the natural pork schnitzel with mushrooms / spaezle and the three veal sausages with potato salad. Both were tasty with great flavours.

The roast pork was far too dry, far too little on the plate for the money! There wasn't even 100g of meat on the plate. Coleslaw wasn't homemade either and was already grumpy. Not recommendable.
