Weissbräuhaus zum Herrnbräu in Ingolstadt

Traditional Bavarian cuisine, the food has always been good and served quickly.

I was at the Weißbräuhaus zum Herrnbräu. I had a Wiener Schnitzel, really well done. And the waiter was just what you'd want: personable, attentive, friendly, but not intrusive. All in all, a successful visit. I'd gladly go back.

Very tasty food in a cozy atmosphere. Reasonably priced! My tip: go there and eat Munich schnitzel...

It's difficult to rate the food since we were treated so badly we walked out after several minutes. The surly manager (host) sat at the table close to the bar and did not stir when two groups entered: he was busy reading his mobile phone. Finally he came over without a word took two menus, passed us by, dropped them onto the table and pointed, evidently hoping to get back to his phone. The place was empty and he selected the worst table in the main pathway of guests entering the establishment. When we asked (in German) if there were other tables available he just said "da" (or "there" in German). Obviously we did not stay.

If original bavarian style is desired , this is a nice place. Good quality bavarian style food for a reasonable price. Fast, very friendly staff. Prepared for foreign guests without German language . On restaurant backside you find a nice beer garden

A very good restaurant, very good food, nothing to complain about. The service is also excellent. The price/performance ratio was also top-notch. Conclusion: Stop in and enjoy yourself.

The food and drinks were very good. Despite having a reservation, we were seated close together, and it was packed on a Tuesday, which speaks volumes about the restaurant. The server was slow and inattentive, but that was more of an isolated incident.

After our city tour through Ingolstadt, our tour group stopped at the Weissbräuhaus “Zum Herrnbräu”. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly and on point. The ambience is very appealing. We recommend the Weissbräupfandl. Very tasty...😋...Highlight: the carillon at exactly 12 p.m. plays the Bavarian parade.

The Weissbräuhaus zum Herrnbräu is an authentic Bavarian inn centrally located in Ingolstadt. I really enjoyed the freshly tapped beer from Herrnbräu. I will be happy to visit this inn again on my next visit to Ingolstadt.

Food wasn't bad. However, the operation should be replaced. Absolutely unfriendly. No hello - no thanks for the tip - the table was only cleared when we asked you about it - orders took a very long time

A very nice and cozy inn in the center of the Danube city. The food tasted very good and special requests regarding side dishes were taken into account. The prices correspond to the current circumstances. For larger groups it is advisable to make a reservation. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of the guests' well-being.

The roast pork was super tasty. Rustic wooden furnishings. A bit expensive, but the liver dumpling soup was great. Often busy in the evenings. A reservation would be advantageous.

We could only sit outside. Food was tasty, but expected a little more. We ate schnitzel.

After a promising recommendation, we were very disappointed that half the menu was no longer available on Mondays. Especially schnitzel, cordon bleu, etc. are out. After I went back to the kitchen and politely asked for alternatives, I had to opt for a salad. I wasn't offered any alternatives independently. The icing on the cake, however, was that my table was served a non-breaded schnitzel. In summary: Too loud, too unfriendly, too little offer and waiting times too long. Unfortunately zero points. There are no towels or paper towels in the toilets. My colleague ordered a dish with fries and it was brought with spaetzle. When asked politely it was not possible to get fries. A short time later, fries were served at the neighboring table. Sorry -10 points for the whole exercise here. 👎

Went there for a spontaneous meal as a couple and it was well filled but still a bit free. The menu is a bit smaller but has a good selection. Beer is of course from Herrnbräu and always good! Will definitely come again

Great place. The service was very friendly and the waiting times were short. The restaurant is decorated in a typically Bavarian style. There is a wide selection of food and drinks. The portions are large. The cheese spaetzle were very tasty and the prices were really reasonable.

I felt completely comfortable! The choice of food really presented me with a problem - I actually wanted to have the roast pork, but then I spontaneously decided on the knuckle... next time... 😉 We were served super friendly and very attentively and in the typical pub atmosphere the beer tasted even better. I'd love to come back!

There were seven of us on the way to Munich and spontaneously looked for something to eat. What should we say? Everyone was really excited.

Unfortunately our food was mediocre. The cheese patties were cold and sometimes quite hard, the ham noodles were okay, but dry and not particularly hot. The service was great, nice and quick. The ambience is good in itself, typical Bavarian tavern, but even on weekday evenings it is full and so loud that conversations become difficult.

Very tasty food but slow and lazy service. Not to visit spontaneously or with children.

A very clean, customer-oriented restaurant, bright and inviting, the tables are all very clean, the atmosphere is really cozy. The food was excellent, we really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and accommodating, we didn't have to wait. The toilets were very clean. All in all we were very satisfied, we will definitely come back! Thanks again to the service!

The light beer was poured absolutely badly. For a brewery!!! Helles: no foam, no carbonation. After two minutes an apple spritzer. Back. Food okay. But that was it.

Very nice inn. It looks inviting from the outside, but you feel really comfortable inside. It looks rustic and has a typical Bavarian flair. The food is very and and the service is top. If possible, requests are taken into account and the friendly staff came regularly to check that everything was going well. The prices are of course adapted to the experience, but that is bearable. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Based on the reviews, we wanted to get our own impression. The ambience sober, expressionless! The service greeted us in a friendly manner and that was it for quite some time, even though there were three ladies busy and the restaurant was not very busy. After we were served and the order was taken, the food came very quickly. These were tasty and of good quality! Since we weren't convinced by the service and the ambience, we won't come here again and won't recommend it!

We immediately noticed the Weissbräuhaus during our visit to Ingolstadt and our expectations were not disappointed. It's a quaint, bright restaurant, the food is really good and plentiful, and the service is extremely friendly. What more could you want? Clear recommendation from us. A little tip: we already made a reservation at lunchtime for the evening, and although we like to eat around 6 p.m., we wouldn't have been able to get a seat without the reservation. We would like to thank Weissbräu for two nice evenings.

The food is really great, drinks are also A1 and well chilled. The staff is really nice and attentive.

Good restaurant with a small indoor beer garden. Local beer, rustic and quite loud when full, as befits a decent pub. The kitchen has been cooking up and down over the last few years, but is currently doing well again. The dishes are hearty, the portions are decent, and the prices are normal. We like to go here with foreigners because it seems quite Bavarian.

Nice restaurant, unfortunately increased noise due to the constant loud sorting of various cutlery. Is very disturbing while eating. Should be changed urgently.

Very good Bavarian cuisine. For the second time I had the roast pork, which together with the potato dumpling and the sauce is to die for. You can't get this dish better anywhere. We didn't like the white cabbage salad a year ago, but this time it was outstanding. However, the dumpling could be a little bigger. If you're hungry, you should definitely order a side salad. Speaking of side salad: It's nice that the food comes quickly, but the salad can be brought before the meal and not 3 minutes later. My wife had the Munich Schnitzel, which was also very good. About the beer: The wheat beer tastes very fresh, it couldn't be better. The service has been good and attentive on all visits so far. About the ambience: Nice outside (pedestrian zone) - the only small drawback: the chairs are not very comfortable. Unfortunately, I don't think it's that nice inside - a bit bare and loveless. In addition, the tables are quite narrow. All in all: The Weissbräuhaus is a must when visiting Ingolstadt. I plan to try something different next time, but I'll probably end up with the wonderful roast pork again.

Very rustic Baryerian restaurant in the heart of Ingolstadt. There are two outdoor areas. Inside, when there's a lot going on, the seating is relatively tight. Always friendly and courteous service. Very extensive menu with a Bavarian focus. Even when there is a lot of traffic, the food is served quickly. Absolutely recommended for a visit!

Price/performance is very good for Ingolstadt. The service is on point and you get everything you would expect in a Bavarian kitchen. The ambience is a bit oppressive in the inner courtyard, but that's often not possible in the city center. Directly on the pedestrian zone it seems a bit more open, but the spaces there are filled up very quickly.

Typical Bavarian cuisine. Very fast and friendly service. We only had to wait 10 minutes from ordering to serving.

Authentic Bavarian restaurant. The roast knuckle was excellent. I had mixed feelings during the service: the lady was not very polite, almost, but the waiter, who also spoke Hungarian, was able to compensate for this in the end.
