We were a small group. Eat and drink something. Being together comfortably. Just before Christmas. We were served by a friendly person, My liver spaetzle soup was delicious. Then the main course, a grill plate for me. It was fine and extremely plentiful. One of the “sauces” was slightly spicy but very good. Afterwards we treated ourselves to a snap. And even some ice cream at the end. A lovely evening in a cozy inn

Quaint, cozy restaurant. Food was super tasty, service was friendly and on the ball. It doesn't get any better in Ingolstadt if you want to eat traditional food or Balkan grill.

We were passing through and since the inn was easy to reach from the motorway and was open at lunchtime, we stopped there. We immediately liked the cozy, rustic atmosphere with traditionally dressed and friendly service. The food came very quickly and was solid, with an attractive daily menu. If we get hungry again the next time we're traveling through, we'll definitely come back.

I had the Wiener Schnitzel. Changing from potato salad to fries cost €1. This was not noted on the map. At least not visible. Asking for small changes is a no go! The schnitzel was a bit limp (breading). At the entrance there is a somewhat older sign that says: Card payment machine is defective. Then had to go to the ATM. If you don't offer cashless payment, you don't have to worry about not having enough change in the house (8 people, 5 pay for around €40 with a 100). Unfortunately I can only partially recommend the restaurant.

Fills you up, tastes good, men's portion. Croatian dishes are served here. Lots of meat. Good 👍🏻 and spicy. Fair prices. Location and ambience are ok. Noisy outside because of the street. Friendly staff. The plates are really big. Good fries.

The taste of the food was okay. The Schäuferle was pretty tough. The potato toilet was probably not homemade. Changes cost extra. Packing up leftover food also costs extra. Apparently packaging in aluminum foil is prohibited by law. I have rarely heard such nonsense as an excuse. Unfortunately, dogs are not welcome.

Yes, what can I say - I've never eaten anything here in years that wasn't excellent. I haven't often experienced such consistent quality. The service is always friendly, the prices are reasonable - always great! Bring hunger and friends!

Been here several times, sometimes with friends, sometimes with family. This time with my son, as always great food, generous portions, great service, who kept asking if we needed anything else, great value for money. However, points are deducted because the interior rooms were not very heated. The service staff also walked around with a long-sleeved jacket and I also noticed that some guests ate their food with their jackets on. It would be nice if this situation could be remedied.

The Wirtshaus zum Pauli offers a home-style menu with a Yugoslavian touch. The food was tasty, the portions were plentiful, the beer was cold and the service was very good, what more could you want? What we liked best was the operators' courageous decision not to allow dogs. No yapping, no growling, no drooling or shaking at the next table. Absolutely hygienic, not everyone wants dogs while they eat.

Were there for a Christmas party. Everything was very tasty and very good service. Staff very accommodating.

After Ingolstadt Village to Pauli. It's already a tradition for us. Food and service is great.

Fantastic food in Bavarian style, very tasty, huge portions, very nice service. We found Mrs. Danuta, a very nice, smiling Polish woman. Very nice dinner.

Unfortunately, the menu is very meat-heavy, so if you don't like it and/or are looking for alternatives, we'll hardly find anything here. Accordingly, we only missed one of the typical Bavarian or Alpine dishes such as Kasspatzen, Saure Knödel, Kaspressknödel, Schupfnudeln etc. It is not possible to order a plate of fries, you "don't do that". In our opinion, completely unacceptable, ridiculous, and never experienced anywhere else. Because of the guest's supposedly "unfulfillable wish", one person didn't order or eat a meal at all; the other food that was delivered was averagely good. The only thing that had a positive effect on us was the very friendly and committed service. All in all, there is no reason for us to honor this location again or even to recommend it.

We had a very good meal here again last night - great service - food very well prepared and tasted excellent. We are simply thrilled.

First we are given free choice of table! Then you will be assigned a table! When we sat down, the kitchen was closed and we were locking it!!

Unfortunately we couldn't get a place for lunch because it was only open for 45 minutes and the groups in the restaurant were too large... 😞

We stopped in this place, because we were passing through on our way to Hanover. Typical Bavarian restaurant, meat dishes, very good and plentiful, friendly and attentive staff, typical place, clean and tidy. Average prices, but it's worth a stop if you happen to be in these parts

We were stuck in a traffic jam for a long time and then left. We discovered this inn by chance. We asked if we could leave the camper overnight. They were very accommodating and asked the boss straight away. It wasn't a problem and we returned. The food was really very good. And the staff very accommodating.

Bavarian cuisine. Food is very good. We are happy to accommodate orders with special requests. Very friendly and funny service staff. Small beer garden. The inside of the inn is typically Bavarian - neat and clean. Free large parking space available.

We had a great meal here whilst we stopped off for a night to break up a long journey. I had the chicken in mushroom sauce with spätzle, and it was flavoursome, delicious, and generously portioned.

We reserved a table for lunch today and when we arrived there was a sign on the door saying “no card payment possible today” unfortunately we were not informed of this when making the reservation. We then had to drive to the next bank again, unfortunately there was no excuse. The schnapps or coffee could definitely have been taken over. Unfortunately very unprofessional reaction.

The food was sometimes good, but the waiting times were long. Main courses were not served at the same time and it was a hassle to collect money. Not worth a second visit.

Friendly space, however if you sit outside in the garden it will be a bit noisy due to being close to the road. The waiters were friendly and prompt. Standard food, didn't impress me too much. The Poseidon seafood platter, to me, is not harmonious in taste and should be redesigned. It also doesn't look good. The grilled meat is very good. Perhaps seafood is not the strength of German restaurants.

Even without a reservation, I got a nice table while passing through on a Saturday evening. The service was quick, warm and also attentive. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We'll come by again.

Unfortunately, no exception was made for a 96-year-old regular customer for a take-away meal. She has been a customer for over 30 years and is now dependent on a wheelchair and can no longer come to the shop in person because of the steps. She really wanted a meal from her favorite restaurant. We were there and wanted to fulfill her wish. Unfortunately we were turned away. Very disappointing, the entire family won't be eating there again in the future.

Unfortunately, after 20 minutes of waiting at the table, we left the house without any response from the waitress. Regular guests arriving are served immediately.😉

Certainly okay for a short stop. Service was really very nice and accommodating. Food rather mediocre, schnitzel unbreaded totally dry. That's definitely why the liter of sauce is over it.

Nice and friendly service and delicious food. By Dutch standards, these are large portions. Have been to Ingolstadt before but never eaten here. Would love to come again.

Food very good. Quantity really sufficient. Schäuferl with a crispy crust. In others it is usually tough, but not here. This is how a Schäuferl should be. Price-wise, it's also completely okay. We'd love to come back.

A great restaurant. The service was very nice, the food was delicious (tip: grilled skewer). We sat outside and it was comfortably furnished. The only negative point is the location, right next to a busy road. But otherwise everything is really good, I can only recommend it!

I recently visited the Wirtshaus zum Pauli and was absolutely thrilled! The food was simply outstanding – every bite was a delight. The menu offers a great selection and the quality of the food is top. The interior of the inn is beautiful and creates a cozy atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. I found the combination of traditional and modern style particularly appealing. Another highlight was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Our waitress gave us excellent advice and was always there with a smile. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I can only warmly recommend the Wirtshaus zum Pauli. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

One of the best meals we had during our two-weeks roadtrip. It was raining heavily these two days and we craved for comfort food. The food served here was piping hot, especially that garlic soup. Special mention to the awesome service we received. The two staff who served us were very friendly and made our last meal for our roadtrip memorable. I'll make sure to drop by the next time I am in Ingolstadt.

We dropped by quite late, just 20 min before the kitchen closed, and they kindly accommodated us (group of 3). Waitress and another guy (could be manager or owner?) who served us were both super friendly and nice. Not to mention, food was superb! Everything we ordered was so delicious that my friends and I all agreed this was the best meal we had for our 2 weeks trip. Portions were all very generous, and if you're Asian girls like us, it will be impossible to be finished alone. We actually shared 1 main amongst 3 pax with a side and soup and were quite bloated. (But it was all so good we had to finish everything lols)

I was actually already driving past (transiting) and saw "Zum Pauli" out of the corner of my eye. Turned around, checked reviews, went in. Very nice atmosphere, nice service, very tasty side salad and really good pork medallions.

Really really good! We have eaten here several times and discovered the inn during Corona. The service was always very good and friendly (... other "Bavarian" inns can follow this example). The food here was top (cream schnitzel and the dish of the day), was on the table very quickly and tasted excellent. Special requests are also addressed without any problems. We spontaneously made reservations for our daughter's confirmation because everything was great. Gladly again at any time!!!

We spontaneously went here for dinner on Sunday lunchtime. Luckily we got a table, almost everything was reserved. In the back area it was a bit chilly but still bearable. The service was quick, always friendly, courteous and really attentive. The drinks we ordered came quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. The taste was really good and the portion was worth the money. We would come back at any time.
