We were in the mountain hut - and had a great time.

I can't understand some of the bad reviews here! It's a very nice place, with something for everyone: vaulted cellar, beer garden, etc. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, everything was perfect!

Nice beer garden, but the quality has declined. The waiters are also very pushy... family conversations are interrupted if they know someone at the table. People sit down to smoke without asking if it bothers anyone... Overall, it's a matter of taste, I have to say... The menu selection has been better in the past, in my opinion, and so has the taste.

das MO: An absolute stroke of luck during our visit (before the Paul Kalkbrenner concert) to Ingoldstadt. There were five of us and we had a great table outside in the beer garden, it was simply super cozy and comfortable! Super friendly and incredibly fast service from the start! It gradually filled up; a reservation on the weekend is definitely recommended. I'm so happy that my godson is now studying in the city center, because this will definitely be his "regular spot!" We had delicious bottles of wine, beer, amazing schnitzel, amazing burgers, delicious soup, and so on. We were there for three hours, and if it weren't for the concert, we definitely would have gotten lost! Great Bier garten in Ingolstadt. You have to visit and enjoy the German style of this place. Great food and of course great German bier.

The food is always delicious Excellent. They even broadcast football here. The menu is also always suitable for corporate events and larger groups. My favorite – the Schäuferl (pork shoulder).

Absolutely delicious food and drinks here. They also have special dishes usually displayed at the entrance, and if there is a menu you like, you should definitely try it because it will exceed your expectations. Also the beers were exceptional. However, the place can get quite crowded and loud, so if you are looking for a location you can dine in quiet, it may not be best suited for you.

The food was delicious and the portions very generous. The individual dishes didn't arrive at the same time, but rather staggered, and the beer bench wasn't particularly comfortable, but it was still good.

One of the most beautiful beer gardens in the old town. The food is highly recommended; the selection is plentiful and varied. Vegan options are also available. The ambiance within the old stone walls invites you to feel at home. The service is prompt and friendly. We always enjoy coming here.

The beer garden is located in the courtyard and is usually crowded and loud. Unfortunately, by 7 p.m. on Thursdays, the spare ribs were already out, but the alternative sausage salad with fresh bread was OK.

The place is quite difficult for people with my mental health problems

Huge Biergarten, typical German restaurant with well-filled and very good plates. Given the size, the service is a little difficult to keep up, which causes some waiting, but the staff is very friendly.

We were there on July 13th (a day with 26 degrees). We ate outside. I'm not sure if there were any seats. Everyone ate outside. We ordered knuckles. The food was fine I think. What isn't okay is that there are a lot of blue-bellied flies flying around. Suddenly there were 20 flies flying around our food. I think it was infested with flies because I had diarrhea and it was unpleasant with so many flies sitting there. Is there anything we can do to stop so many flies from flying around and eating 50 other people at once? Or should I bring a fly trap next time!

The outdoor beer garden is a busy place, and while it's a bit noisy, it's still easy to have a conversation. I think there's even the option to sit a little more privately, but it should be considerably quieter there. You can enjoy a more relaxed meal in the somewhat smaller interior of the restaurant. The food arrived very quickly despite the many other guests, and the service was very attentive, often checking on us. But without being intrusive or annoying.

The food was delicious; we had a sandwich, currywurst, and Schäuferla (a kind of pork shoulder). The service was disappointing; there are too few staff, and you have to wait a very long time to be served. The staff are so stressed that they ignore the guests. Great location, right next to the underground parking garage.

The beer and food was good, the place is cute, but I get really annoyed when the service feels entitled to pressure you or shame you for not leaving a tip. I was paying with card, and the service was just normal. Not bad, not extraordinary, then added no tip in the machine and she asked me if there was anything wrong with the service. I said no and she responded with an upset face expression and a “oh, I see, ok, ok. That’s it then”. I don’t appreciate that attitude and I do hope that the staff gets a decent salary. If that’s not the case, do faces to the boss, not to the customers ;)

Great! Great service, great food, and delicious beer. I've been there several times and will stop by again in the future.

The pork shoulder was excellently prepared – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with the intense roast flavor you'd expect. It was accompanied by both a grated dumpling and a bread dumpling – both solid and flavorful, well-seasoned, and a real highlight in combination with the sauce. The coleslaw was unfortunately the weakest part of the plate. While edible and okay, the flavor was rather bland and uninspired – no comparison to the rest of the dish. Overall, a very successful meal, which clearly impressed with the quality of the shoulder. Conclusion: Top-notch meat, very good dumplings, salad could be improved. I would eat it again.

The tables are quite close together. It was crowded and accordingly loud. The food was okay.

Bisher waren wir immer zufrieden. Doch heute Mittag würden wir bisher sehr entäuscht. Extrem lange warten müssen, bis wir die Bestellung aufgeben konnte. Dann haben wir über eine Stunde auf einfaches Essen warten müssen. Miserable Organisation.

The beer garden was very busy on a mild weekday evening. I would recommend making a reservation for groups. We received friendly service. Our group ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. If I'm ever in Ingolstadt again, I'd love to come back!

I've been to Mo many times, but I've never written a review before. I finally wanted to do that today. Unfortunately, the food this time was a real disappointment. Mo has never been a gourmet restaurant, but this time the schnitzel was disappointing, even by snack standards. The atmosphere is still great, and the staff is generally friendly and professional, but occasionally seems overwhelmed. Overall, a very nice beer garden that's transformed into a kind of hut in the winter. Always a perfect location for company parties.

Great, great, great! Gluten-free Exceptional service Great ambiance We were here for my husband's birthday and ate in the beer garden. The ambiance is great, really cozy, and a mix of traditional and modern. The service was incredible, exceptionally friendly, and attentive. We felt very comfortable! The gluten-free dishes are specially marked on the menu, which made choosing much easier for me. I had the traditional fried potatoes with two fried eggs, and it was delicious. We arrived around lunchtime and had no problem getting a table. However, there were reserved signs on all the tables, so you should make a reservation for dinner, or at least by 5:00 PM. We will definitely eat here again.

Visited restaurant with a few colleagues from work. I enjoyed the food here. The salmon fish was properly grilled and tasted good. Outdoor sitting area was also pleasant. Service could be improved. Sometimes it’s difficult to locate your attendant to place more orders and it takes a bit of time for the food to arrive.

The menu is not too various, but the food was delightful, both pulled pork burgers, and salmon, and vegetarian pasta. Our server was amazingly pleasant, and she has really helped us adjust quickly. We were sitting outside on a beautiful spring night, where long sleeves were barely needed. The atmosphere was wonderful and easy going, and the rsdler beer fit that whole vibe perfectly.

The quality varies greatly. On days when there is less going on, the service is (of course) better and quick. We also experienced something similar with food. The restaurant and beer garden are very nicely decorated and in a great location! For larger family celebrations, I can say clearly, choose quieter days. Then you also get top quality.

Hello everyone, I just have to really praise this restaurant, super friendly and nice staff. We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday in the lounge. Everything was beautifully prepared at no extra charge. The food was absolutely amazing. I would give even more stars here if possible, as would the staff, absolutely rare and nice to see. Chicken was basic and fried like from the supermarkt

I've been to Mo several times in 2023/24 - everything was always fine back then. Unfortunately, the kitchen seems to have switched to ready-made sauces of all kinds and dumpling dough from a bag. The food was simply inedible. The dumplings (two types) for frying were hard and tasteless, the meat was dry. The halved, crusted spinach dumplings were SWAMING in a soup bowl full of curry sauce - really disgusting! The fried onions were limp and soaked in oil. I have no idea what's going on with you, but such "dishes" are really an imposition. The lady at the next table also wrinkled her nose when she looked at our table and then decided on burrata (“you can't go wrong with that”). Since we weren't asked by the service whether it was tasty, I assume that the staff knows about the poor quality of the food. It's a shame about this actually nice restaurant. You are definitely saving at the wrong end.

Seit vielen Jahren schon kommen wir ins Mo. Und es ist immer noch Ingolstadts Nr 1 was Essen und Flair angeht. Ein Platz im alten Gewölbe, gutes Essen, ein kühles Bier und eine freundliche Bedienung die dann auch noch sehr kulant ist. Für uns auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne und bis zum nächsten Mal.

Bavarian cuisine, partly reinterpreted (Schäuferlburger, spinach dumplings in curry coconut), tastes great! Reasonable prices and large portions! The atmosphere is great both in winter (hut) and summer (beer garden)! Very friendly staff, but sometimes overwhelmed by the crowds.

The "Mo" is definitely worth a visit and the atmosphere is very cozy. We had a table in the back of the restaurant, which was set up like a barn or barn. Everything was very comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxed. We'd love to come back! Food was great too.

Actually a nice restaurant with very good service. There were two of us and we waited over an hour for our food. My turkey steak was pretty dry, the fries were nothing special. There wasn't even a salad. Just under €19 is definitely way too much for that. The service wasn't very attentive, even to pay you had to draw attention to yourself several times. I'm not from Ingolstadt, but I wouldn't come here again either

Today I had lunch with a larger group. I had oven baked vegetables with lemon dip which was delicious. The others were also very happy with their dishes. The portion was just right. The service was very quick, resolute and attentive... you could tell that a specialist was at work. The ambience of the restaurant itself is also really good, as it has something cozy about it and doesn't seem so cold and modern.

In winter, the beautiful beer garden is transformed from summer into a rustic log cabin.
