Classic Bavarian restaurants in the truest sense of the word are rarely found anymore. Cooked with love. If you like game, you've come to the right place.

So some things are definitely not quite right here. The breaded cutlet tasted like shoe soles with fatty rinds. Then the so-called chef also said that he wouldn't take it back even though it was flax and there was too much fat in it🤮. 20€ for literally rubbish is definitely not recommended for anyone. Even the potato salad was extremely bad. Never again in life!!!!

Price performance OK (unfortunately a lot more expensive) Tastes really good, size is enormous (1.2 kg Gordon bleu! 2023) This time around 1kg (Unfortunately the meat is a bit dry in 2023) Not this time, the Gordon bleu was very juicy, wonderful, the onion roast was on point. The only drawback, the potato salad had some problems convincing. The service was very good, friendly, quick and always with a smile.

Very good Bavarian restaurant with high quality and delicious food. Not the cheapest restaurant in terms of price, but good quality. Service friendly and attentive. In summer there is a large and beautiful beer garden. If you are in the area, you should definitely pay a visit to the Zirngibl Inn!

Came in spontaneously on a business trip. Warmly welcomed straight away, a welcome guest even as an individual. Great, tasty food, freshly tapped beer, I'm lucky. The price at the end was amazing. As a Hanseatic citizen, I am much more used to such portions. Bottom line, thank you very much!

My absolute favorite! I've been coming to Zirngibl regularly for two years now, whether to take away or eat on site. The food impresses every time, the portions are generous, and the service is some of the best I've ever experienced - really impressive!

We sat outside without a reservation, so we got a bad seat. Food was ok but there were wasps everywhere and one even fell into my drink.

First of all: the Gasthaus Zirngibl is a really nice beer garden with a nice ambience and a very attentive, friendly and courteous service team. Since I had a veggie burger, I can only rate this one. However, this was completely overpriced at just under 19 euros. Unfortunately the patty was a bit soggy (quinoa) and only topped with a little lettuce and an avocado cream. Since the burger was vegetarian, I don't understand why there was no cheese, tomatoes, onions and sauce(!). Unfortunately very disappointing. However, the other plates of schnitzel, etc. looked pretty good and we will definitely come back. I'll just avoid the veggie burger next time.

Unfortunately our impression wasn't very good. Wanted to eat there for the first time. We were greeted with the words "have you reserved" instead of a friendly "hello" - unfortunately we had to answer this with "no". Since it was our first visit, we didn't know that this was necessary, even though there were still many tables the beer garden was unoccupied. When we said "no" to the reservation, the waitress simply replied, "We don't have anything free!" No "sorry", no "goodbye",...nothing like that. Very unfortunate...

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but I've never been turned away so rudely. We came with 3 adults and a toddler. At the entrance to the beer garden we waited for a seat to be assigned and were then rudely approached by a waitress: "If you don't have a reservation, we don't have a seat," even though there were a lot of free tables without a reservation. No hello, no sorry and no goodbye. I can understand if you don't have space, but you can still be friendly!

Very nice staff. Super large portions and excellent quality. If you don't manage to eat everything, you can take it with you.

Very tasty Bavarian food, just the way you like it on vacation. The portions are very large, so you'll need a doggy bag to take the leftovers with you.

We've been here several times, but there won't be another visit. Service great, food no thanks. Bratensulz zero spices more gelatin no longer worked, fried potatoes partly black. A chef shouldn't be sent out like that. Roast pork too dry.

Good service, very large portions, very nice atmosphere

We ate very well at the inn three evenings in a row. There was delicious roast pork, Viennese veal schnitzel, Schäuferl with cabbage, sauerbraten of wild boar, a huge cordon bleu and a very tasty wild bolognese on pasta... All dishes were a 10 out of 10!!! The service was very friendly and attentive! If we get lost here again, we will definitely return to the Zirngibl Inn.

I was in Bad Abbach for 5 days and had dinner here 3 times. That says a lot :-) The portions are very large and taste good too. The price is certainly not cheap (anymore), but it suits me. The service was always very nice and attentive. So I was always asked if it tasted good and I was also asked, among other things. asked if I would like more sauce if necessary. It was then delivered immediately, at no extra charge. It's a bit "weird" that they... Food comes very quickly. Here I suspect that at least some dishes are prepared (more or less/"extensive"). However, I cannot judge to what extent this might affect the taste and/or quality.

Arrived with a 7,000 euro racing bike. Was it by the boss? I'm turned on, I'm supposed to take my bike to the bike rack. This is around the corner and not visible from the beer garden. I say, sorry no, cycling is too expensive for that. Possibly stolen. Came back totally rude: then you have to sit on the bike! No thanks, I'm going somewhere else. A few meters away people were friendlier, the food was tasty and the beer was great

Beautiful, large beer garden - be sure to reserve if there are several people. Insanely large portions - leftovers can be taken with you. If you don't want to cook the next day - it's practical for that. Personally, I prefer regular portions as I don't like throwing away food. Take Kässpätzle with you in aluminum foil and you can do it on vacation. Food was very good.

No matter whether it's a pub, a beer garden or catering - the Gasthaus Zirngibl can be recommended without exception!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We have already been invited to several weddings there, countless times in the beautiful beer garden or in the pub and last weekend we ordered catering for 22 people - we have never been disappointed!!

The venison steak was simply masterful - so tender and flavorful that it delighted even the most demanding children's palates. The service was equally impressive: always courteous, quick and incredibly attentive. Our stay under the shady Castralia trees was a complete success 😃 Highly recommended!

You sit cool and shady in the rustic beer garden of the "Zirngibls" for barely 2 minutes and are greeted warmly with a menu and the question about your first drink preference. The Radler tastes simply delicious and choosing what to eat is not easy given the extensive menu. The number of vegan offerings is remarkable. The beautifully arranged plates soon reach their destination and our eyes overflow with the great composition and size. The celery trio tastes so delicious that not a single crumb is left behind. Just like the meat component, the cheeseburger. Price/performance is absolutely right here, and even more so is the creativity of the kitchen team, completed by the attentive service. For us, a 5-star address in a class of its own.

If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault. The burgers are awesome. We had one with game and one with pulled pork (there are fried pickles!), both very tasty. We sat in a dark corner, but were happy to get a seat spontaneously (on Saturdays without a reservation).

Als ich noch auf den Kartoffeln Kümmel bestellen wollte drehte Sie vollkommen am Rad.Sehr barsch erklärte Sie mir in der Küche gibt es keinen Kümmel was mich sehr überraschte . Ich ging daher selbst in die Küche und sprach mit dem Koch Dieser brachte mir dann eine kleine Schale mit Kümmel an den Tisch. Ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen das es in einer Küche keine Gewürze gibt. Aber so eine Art von Bedienung haben wir sehr sehr selten erlebt . Diese Bedienung sollte sich einmal vor Augen führen wer Ihr lohn bezahlt , Ihr lohn fällt nicht vom Himmel und wenn es Ihr in Deutschland gefällt dann bitte zurück in Ihre Heimat Also diese Bedienung nie nie wieder

Very hospitable restaurant with great service. The portions were very “well” sized and it tasted great. It was worth the price. We can only recommend it. Recommended: The innkeeper is a hunter and in-house products are served and offered for purchase.

We were at the restaurant shortly after 11 a.m. without a reservation (we had just arrived in the motorhome). Even though everything was fully booked, we were given a simple table in the hallway. All employees were extremely friendly. The food was very good and the portions were huge. It would be an idea to also offer smaller portions since not everyone can eat that much.

The food was very tasty 😋 and the service did its job. Unfortunately, the waiting times were very long and a bit like an assembly line process.🙂

The meal, käsespätzle with a side salad, the price of 13.50€ is in my opinion too little considering the quantity and taste. The freshness of the salad is easily worth 16€ in my opinion. The prices for the other dishes seem a lot too but the quantities make up for it would come again and again and really recommend the shop. The staff, service and ambience also have my highest respect My conclusion: it's worth coming here and I would recommend it to everyone Thanks to the team for their friendliness and the great food

Sind mit den E-Bikes eingekehrt um eine Stunde Strom für die Weiterfahrt zu laden. Auf unsere Frage nach Lademöglichkeit wurde uns gesagt, kostet zwei Euro. Also 4€ für 2 Akkus eine Stunde laden. Auf unsere Antwort, in einer Stunde kostet der Strom max. 20-30Cent, wurden nur 2€ verlangt. Nach Essen und Trinken für 49,80-€, und einer Stunde Verweildauer, haben wir unsere Akkus geholt. Aber siehe da, oh Graus welch Zufall, es war nur noch ein Ladegerät angesteckt. Ein Schelm wer böses darin vermutet. Darum war unsere Weiterfahrt Richtung Heimat in der Hügeligen Gegend doch sehr eingeschränkt. In der Klosterschänke Biburg, hatten wir dann doch noch Glück und der Biergarten hatte eine kostenlose Ladestation für E-Bikes. Kamen dadurch eine Stunde später an unserem Ziel an. Schade.

We returned with our e-bikes to charge electricity for an hour before continuing our journey. When we asked about charging options, we were told it costs two euros. So 4€ for charging 2 batteries for an hour. When we answered that the electricity costs a maximum of 20-30 cents in an hour, we only asked for €2. After eating and drinking for €49.80 and spending an hour there, we got our batteries. But lo and behold, oh horror what a coincidence, there was only one charger plugged in. A rogue who suspects evil in it. That's why our further journey towards home was very limited in the hilly area. In the Klosterschänke Biburg, we were lucky and the beer garden had a free charging station for e-bikes. As a result, we arrived at our destination an hour later.

We sat very comfortably and were served quickly and warmly.

Unfortunately the portions are much too big, otherwise there is nothing to complain about 😀

The Gasthaus Zirngibl is a very nice Bavarian inn with a wonderful ambience, both inside and in the beer garden. The service is always impeccable in every respect and the food tastes great. Only the portions are too big for my taste.

Very nice economy. Service was very nice. Food was great. Only the portions are very large. You should make the portions a little smaller and therefore cheaper. I had a generous portion of it the next day. But overall, always happy.

The restaurant has a beautiful beer garden with a playground. The food is excellent and the service staff is wonderful. I was shocked when I saw the prices on the menu, but the portions are so big that the price is definitely justified! I'll definitely come back again, but I'll order half a portion because it'll easily fill you up!

You can't go wrong by stopping here, especially with "gastro celebrities" from Munich, South Tyrol, Lindau, Lichtenfels, Schliersee. Everyone was happy and we would like to thank the innkeeper and crew for the lovely evening!

This is how you imagine an inn with a beer garden in Bavaria🤗 Great atmosphere, very friendly service. Our friend ate a Wiener Schnitzel here and says that no one in Vienna could keep up with it 😉

At first I thought the price was quite expensive for a cordon bleu, until the plate came... the taste was amazing, the quantity was indescribable and more than justified for the price! No matter what I saw on other tables, there was aluminum foil everywhere because I just couldn't do it. You can easily eat twice in one portion. Service was super nice and quick, great beer garden with a small playground, what more could you want! I'll be back, but if you want to lose weight I'd avoid it ;)

Gasthaus Zirngibl took care of the catering at our wedding. From the preliminary discussion to the rehearsal dinner to the event, everything went absolutely perfectly. All of our wishes were fully implemented and supplemented with our own ideas - especially the Argentinian empanadas were wonderfully prepared. A big thank you to Mr. Hofer and his team for the organization as well as to the service team around Yvonne and Max for their world-class effort at the celebration. A really beautiful beer garden with a special charm and really particularly friendly service. You don't find these very often anymore, even though they're really hard to carry. The food was also very plentiful and excellent! We will be back!!!

The Resche pork knuckle really has a delicious crust. The portion was huge and I couldn't inhale it despite being very hungry. The beer garden is very nice, with lots of shade under the trees, the service is friendly and nice. Gladly again!

Stopped in the beer garden on the weekend during a bike tour, with a reservation, otherwise it would have been tight. Super tasty food, huge portions. I had a celery capachio as a starter, very tasty, and a Kaiserschmarrn as a main course, I had to fight. The others in the group packed up some and took them with them because some of the plates didn't want to be empty. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive. The only drawback was the children's playground, right next to the table, where you often couldn't understand your own words 😉. It was great for the children, they were able to let off steam. Overall, a great pit stop on the bike tour that we will definitely repeat!
