Very nice atmosphere, great food selection. I always enjoy coming here.

The dishes are oversized. You'll still get something out of it for a few days. However, it is quite high in fat. At least for me, I had butter mackerel fillet with pearl barley risotto. And everything in the plate was swimming in butter. Someone meant too well. I didn't feel well for 2 days. Otherwise it would have tasted perfect. Little choice for vegetarians, it's more for meat lovers!

Today we visited the inn, had the Schäuferl and was thrilled. Portion and taste are excellent. The service was very accommodating and polite. Gladly again

At Gasthaus Zirngibl everything is just right. The service is on point and always friendly, and the food is always delicious. Regardless of whether it's from the daily menu or the regular menu, you'll always find something you're in the mood for. The ambience inside is classically beautiful, in summer we love sitting in the beer garden. You can always find somewhere to park your bike or car.

We only visit this restaurant when we travel from the north to the south on vacation. Then a stopover at the Zirngibl inn is always a pleasure for us. We look forward to the delicious food, the aperitifs, the good wines and the hospitality. It's a shame we live so far away.

Bam, what was that? Beautiful inn, very nice service, great food and huge portions. Even though it was packed and we didn't have a reservation, they did everything they could to accommodate us, even though there were only two of us. The menu is very diverse, there should be something for everyone. When the food arrived we were really overwhelmed by the quantity (each of the dishes would have easily been enough for both of us) and very impressed by the taste and presentation. When we couldn't do it anymore, there were of course takeaway containers. An all-round successful evening and something else for the next few days... perfect and would be happy again!

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the restaurant. The price-performance ratio is not at all right. We had, among other things, a veal cream roast - but it was a rolled veal roast with a lot of fat. When asked whether the Wiener Schnitzel could also be made with pork schnitzel (instead of veal), the answer was no, even though a pork cordon bleu was on the menu. It would have been the same schnitzel. We were very disappointed with the Wiener Schnitzel (veal). At a price of €27.90, I expect a pounded, wafer-thin schnitzel that is not completely riddled with fibers. The carrots from the vegetables were also way too hard. Conclusion: At these prices, it's better to have smaller portions and pay more attention to quality.

We have been visiting this restaurant regularly with family and friends for a long time and are always completely satisfied. The food is always fresh, the selection is huge, and there really is something to suit every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive staff - you always feel welcome and well looked after. It's always a pleasure to come here. Thank you for the great atmosphere and great service! We're always happy to come back!

A nice inn. The menu offers a wide range, game dishes, typical meat dishes, but there is also a good selection for vegetarians. The portions are large and the food is very tasty and attractively prepared. The staff is really great, very friendly and you can tell that they are passionate about their job. A table reservation is a must as the house is very busy.

I have often heard about Zirngibl and was really looking forward to my first visit on the first holiday. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. My onion roast with fried potatoes was totally boring. Unseasoned and the meat was difficult to chew. It felt like 2 kg of fried potatoes on the plate, but they were absolutely unseasoned and not good. The sauce for the Burgundy roast was too salty. The Kaiserschmarn was dipped in rum, which is not on the menu. We were angry because the children also wanted to eat Kaiserschmarn. The chef couldn't handle the criticism at all and argued. If he had just said, I'm sorry. Conclusion: Once and never again

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was marked by disappointing experiences, both in terms of taste and service. On the one hand, the Kaiserschmarrn was a bitter disappointment. The alcohol content was so strong that it overpowered the flavor of the dish and stood out unpleasantly. After I pointed this out to the waiter, I received an unhelpful and almost didactic response: They tried to convince me that I was mistaken. My humorous suggestion that you would have to have a drinking problem not to notice this was not addressed further. Instead, there was an attempt to dismiss the matter without seriously considering the criticism. It was obvious that either the temperature was too low or alcohol had been added afterwards. It was also annoying that the rum used was not mentioned in the menu - an important point, especially for guests who do not want alcohol. The chef's behavior topped it all off: his reaction to my criticism was not only unprofessional, but also inappropriate. His comment that I was “obviously not Bavarian” and therefore didn’t know that rum was common in Kaiserschmarrn was as unnecessary as it was rude. It's one thing to defend regional traditions, but another to discount a guest's legitimate objections. The Burgundy roast, on the other hand, showed that the kitchen definitely has potential: the meat was cooked perfectly and the spaetzle was also a delight. Unfortunately, the sauce was inedible - it was clearly too salty. When I mentioned this, I received another succinct answer: taste is subjective. But the following applies here: a little too much salt may be a matter of taste, but over-salted is still over-salted. Conclusion: The cuisine shows technical skill, but gross errors and an inappropriate approach to criticism spoil the overall experience. Not only is there a lack of care in preparation, but also service orientation. Criticism should be accepted and not dismissed with excuses. Unfortunately, this leaves a bad aftertaste - in the truest sense of the word.

The three of us were there for dinner today. The service staff were consistently courteous, attentive and competent. The food (we had Schäufele, Kässpatzen and a veggie burger) was excellent, we would love to come back.

We went here for dinner for the first time. In retrospect I have to say, unfortunately. Unfortunately, because it was really delicious. I had roast wild boar. Very good and a really decent portion size. The waitresses were all very friendly and on their toes. Now that we know the inn and after the good food, we will definitely come back more often.

Went to Zirngibl for the first time with a group of 10 people. With reservation. None of those present could find anything negative. Prices are a little higher, but with the notoriously huge portions, you'll probably eat twice each time. At least for most of our group. Service was impeccable and it should be emphasized that all the food was delivered at the same time. We have therefore already planned to come back.

The potions are very plentiful, the food is of good quality, the environment is really relaxing and very characteristic. Highly recommended for those who want to taste the true Bavarian culture. The only negative note is the waiter with the tattoo on his arm, which, despite wanting to be nice at all costs in the end, was inappropriate and in some cases even a little rude!

We ate delicious game. Despite many guests, our special requests were taken into account. The service was friendly and attentive, but not too intrusive. We reserved a table for the three of us, which I would always recommend.

The menu has something to offer for everyone, from starters to main course and dessert, the portions are very generous and very tasty. Hello, we have eaten there several times as we also live in Bad Abbach. In my opinion, the food is only average for the price, nevertheless we wanted to try it again today and had ordered roast pork and children's schnitzel. The food was inedible, when the waiter asked us why we left so much left over, we said that the meat was very dry and toe, after checking in the kitchen the chef agreed with us and gave us a quarter bill. When we paid the bill we were suddenly treated very arrogantly. Sorry, but with a guest with a name like that and such praise, I expect to eat well and not be treated arrogantly. In my opinion the quality is very poor, which was also our last visit there.

Although the dining room is complete. was occupied, including several large parties, we were immediately assigned a table - even without a reservation - and had a very, very tasty meal! Conclusion: absolutely recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So some things are definitely not quite right here. The breaded cutlet tasted like shoe soles with fatty rinds. Then the so-called chef also said that he wouldn't take it back even though it was flax and there was too much fat in it🤮. 20€ for literally rubbish is definitely not recommended for anyone. Even the potato salad was extremely bad. Never again in life!!!!

Price performance OK (unfortunately a lot more expensive) Tastes really good, size is enormous (1.2 kg Gordon bleu! 2023) This time around 1kg (Unfortunately the meat is a bit dry in 2023) Not this time, the Gordon bleu was very juicy, wonderful, the onion roast was on point. The only drawback, the potato salad had some problems convincing. The service was very good, friendly, quick and always with a smile.

My absolute favorite! I've been coming to Zirngibl regularly for two years now, whether to take away or eat on site. The food impresses every time, the portions are generous, and the service is some of the best I've ever experienced - really impressive!

Came in spontaneously on a business trip. Warmly welcomed straight away, a welcome guest even as an individual. Great, tasty food, freshly tapped beer, I'm lucky. The price at the end was amazing. As a Hanseatic citizen, I am much more used to such portions. Bottom line, thank you very much!

First of all: the Gasthaus Zirngibl is a really nice beer garden with a nice ambience and a very attentive, friendly and courteous service team. Since I had a veggie burger, I can only rate this one. However, this was completely overpriced at just under 19 euros. Unfortunately the patty was a bit soggy (quinoa) and only topped with a little lettuce and an avocado cream. Since the burger was vegetarian, I don't understand why there was no cheese, tomatoes, onions and sauce(!). Unfortunately very disappointing. However, the other plates of schnitzel, etc. looked pretty good and we will definitely come back. I'll just avoid the veggie burger next time.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but I've never been turned away so rudely. We came with 3 adults and a toddler. At the entrance to the beer garden we waited for a seat to be assigned and were then rudely approached by a waitress: "If you don't have a reservation, we don't have a seat," even though there were a lot of free tables without a reservation. No hello, no sorry and no goodbye. I can understand if you don't have space, but you can still be friendly!

Unfortunately our impression wasn't very good. Wanted to eat there for the first time. We were greeted with the words "have you reserved" instead of a friendly "hello" - unfortunately we had to answer this with "no". Since it was our first visit, we didn't know that this was necessary, even though there were still many tables the beer garden was unoccupied. When we said "no" to the reservation, the waitress simply replied, "We don't have anything free!" No "sorry", no "goodbye",...nothing like that. Very unfortunate...

We've been here several times, but there won't be another visit. Service great, food no thanks. Bratensulz zero spices more gelatin no longer worked, fried potatoes partly black. A chef shouldn't be sent out like that. Roast pork too dry.

We ate very well at the inn three evenings in a row. There was delicious roast pork, Viennese veal schnitzel, Schäuferl with cabbage, sauerbraten of wild boar, a huge cordon bleu and a very tasty wild bolognese on pasta... All dishes were a 10 out of 10!!! The service was very friendly and attentive! If we get lost here again, we will definitely return to the Zirngibl Inn.

I was in Bad Abbach for 5 days and had dinner here 3 times. That says a lot :-) The portions are very large and taste good too. The price is certainly not cheap (anymore), but it suits me. The service was always very nice and attentive. So I was always asked if it tasted good and I was also asked, among other things. asked if I would like more sauce if necessary. It was then delivered immediately, at no extra charge. It's a bit "weird" that they... Food comes very quickly. Here I suspect that at least some dishes are prepared (more or less/"extensive"). However, I cannot judge to what extent this might affect the taste and/or quality.

Arrived with a 7,000 euro racing bike. Was it by the boss? I'm turned on, I'm supposed to take my bike to the bike rack. This is around the corner and not visible from the beer garden. I say, sorry no, cycling is too expensive for that. Possibly stolen. Came back totally rude: then you have to sit on the bike! No thanks, I'm going somewhere else. A few meters away people were friendlier, the food was tasty and the beer was great

Beautiful, large beer garden - be sure to reserve if there are several people. Insanely large portions - leftovers can be taken with you. If you don't want to cook the next day - it's practical for that. Personally, I prefer regular portions as I don't like throwing away food. Take Kässpätzle with you in aluminum foil and you can do it on vacation. Food was very good.

The venison steak was simply masterful - so tender and flavorful that it delighted even the most demanding children's palates. The service was equally impressive: always courteous, quick and incredibly attentive. Our stay under the shady Castralia trees was a complete success 😃 Highly recommended!

You sit cool and shady in the rustic beer garden of the "Zirngibls" for barely 2 minutes and are greeted warmly with a menu and the question about your first drink preference. The Radler tastes simply delicious and choosing what to eat is not easy given the extensive menu. The number of vegan offerings is remarkable. The beautifully arranged plates soon reach their destination and our eyes overflow with the great composition and size. The celery trio tastes so delicious that not a single crumb is left behind. Just like the meat component, the cheeseburger. Price/performance is absolutely right here, and even more so is the creativity of the kitchen team, completed by the attentive service. For us, a 5-star address in a class of its own.

If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault. The burgers are awesome. We had one with game and one with pulled pork (there are fried pickles!), both very tasty. We sat in a dark corner, but were happy to get a seat spontaneously (on Saturdays without a reservation).

personal sehr gestresst . ich bestellte sülze mit Bratkartoffeln und Remoulade Unsere Bedienung das gibt es bei uns nicht, zeigte dann die Speisekarte und Sie riss mir diese aus der Hand. Als ich noch auf den Kartoffeln Kümmel bestellen wollte drehte Sie vollkommen am Rad.Sehr barsch erklärte Sie mir in der Küche gibt es keinen Kümmel was mich sehr überraschte . Ich ging daher selbst in die Küche und sprach mit dem Koch Dieser brachte mir dann eine kleine Schale mit Kümmel an den Tisch. Ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen das es in einer Küche keine Gewürze gibt. Aber so eine Art von Bedienung haben wir sehr sehr selten erlebt . Diese Bedienung sollte sich einmal vor Augen führen wer Ihr lohn bezahlt , Ihr lohn fällt nicht vom Himmel und wenn es Ihr in Deutschland gefällt dann bitte zurück in Ihre Heimat Also diese Bedienung nie nie wieder
