We had a reservation and were eight minutes late – the reserved table was taken. The "receptionist" informed us of this in a rather brusque tone. They were willing to set a new table for us, and we waited nine minutes (!) in the hallway.
The waitress at our table was friendly and quite attentive, which lifted our spirits somewhat.
The restaurant was quite busy and therefore noisy, but the food was good and tasty.
A very nice restaurant. We had a Christmas dinner there with about 50 ladies. The appetizer was very good, but the main course was supposed to be saltimbocca, though it wasn't recognizable as such. The meat was dry, the ham was stuck on, and there was no sage. The fish was overcooked and therefore dry. The dessert wasn't worth mentioning. A shame.
The vegetarian dish, beetroot dumplings on a bed of cabbage, was tasty.
The food was significantly better at the same event last year.
Nice cinema, but the popcorn is really bad.
Unfortunately, it's been like this for many years. A real shame. Sometimes we end up getting jumbo popcorn from Cineplex beforehand if we have a reservation at Cinecitta.
A cozy, original, traditional inn. The reservation went perfectly, the food was delicious for all six of us, and the welcome and service were exceptionally friendly!
The roast pork with beer sauce was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!
Overall, I have no complaints about this inn. Bavarians are just so different from the people I know in North Rhine-Westphalia (in a good way, though). The service was friendly and the staff had a great sense of humor.
As a fan of half-timbered buildings, I have absolutely no complaints about the building itself.
We ate inside, but the beer garden looked very inviting as well.
So, if you'd like to try some good Bavarian cuisine, I can wholeheartedly recommend this inn :)
Gilles. France. 3 people. 9/11. A restaurant, a decor, and typically German cuisine. The food is simple, good, and hearty. And I'd never heard of smoked beer...not bad at all. A lovely and enjoyable experience, go for it!
The Hütt'n inn offers a wide selection of beers and spirits, as well as a large variety of delicious food. The Schäuferla (roast pork shoulder) is highly recommended. However, it gets very busy in the evenings; our group of 12 squeezed into a table that was really only comfortable for 10 people, even though there were plenty of reservations. Therefore, one star is deducted. Otherwise, it's highly recommended; the service was friendly and quick.
Always a highlight!
Traditional, old-fashioned inn-style. Excellent brewery cuisine at extremely fair prices. For us, it's still the highlight of all restaurants in this style.
Highly recommended: the Kaiserschmarrn. The portion size is insane and comfortably serves 4-5 people or as a main course.
The only downside: like many inns, it can get very loud with larger groups.
We're already looking forward to our next visit to Munich—of course, to Dürnbräu again.
Absolutely superb authentic Bavarian restaurant. Packed full with locals enjoying the Christmas market. We had excellent service, in a brilliant location. The pork knuckle was just outstanding, if there is better anywhere in Germany then I would like to see it. Strongly recommend this place for visitors, you won't regret choosing it. Amazing.
