Beer tastes good and the food is also very tasty.

The staff were appalling. We came from Spain, where tipping isn't customary. When we paid, the waiter asked me how much I should tip, and I told him I didn't want to leave one, since, as I said, it's not customary in my country, and the treatment we received wasn't great either. When I said this, the waiter started getting rude and, as I took my card from the card reader, he rudely threw it on the table. They should fire him. Apart from the blonde waitress, the rest of the male waiters weren't at all friendly, and I don't know why they work in the hospitality industry. To top it all off, when I saw how much they charged me, it turned out to be the man who charged us a 2-euro tip when I told him I didn't want to leave one. Horrible treatment, I wouldn't recommend anyone visit this establishment.

The food was average, the wait was perfect, and the atmosphere was great. A very nice place. Now, the service??? Terrible. It's a shame that the adults who work in the front office treat customers with no respect whatsoever. The female waitress treated us wonderfully and advised us on what to eat. The men, on the other hand, treated us horribly. When it was time to pay, we didn't want to tip because it's not common in our country, and he got angry in our faces and rudely threw his card on the table. In fact, hours later we realized he paid us the tip he felt like. We're just 19-year-old girls discovering the world and trying to save as much as possible; it's a shame not to tip you. Germany is expensive enough as it is, no one wants to tip, lolazo.

Great food, service looking for... someone else At Stockhammer, you have to organize your own menu – the waiters are constantly on the move, but they're obviously looking for someone, just not the guests at your table. Maybe your pretty colleague or someone walking by outside? They talk to you, but they look at everything else. We felt more like extras in a film directed by the staff themselves – only without a script and without eye contact. It's a shame, because the food was great. The service? More like "Where's Waldo?" in the restaurant world.

Overall a very nice location, but you should be prepared for typically German, rather unfriendly and quickly irritated service.

We had a la carte with a larger group. It worked out well. The food was very good. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.

Large place with the option to sir upstairs too. The prices were high, the quality of f&b were mediocre and the servis nervous. The servis was understaffed and i had to go to the kasse to pay cause i couldnt find any waiter

The attentive team and efficient service ensured a pleasant experience. The ambiance was warm and cozy, and the dishes were served promptly and beautifully presented. The flavors were crisp and balanced, the portions just right, and the value for money was excellent.

Located in the heart of Rosenheim's city center. You'll be seated at a table, and your order will be taken quickly and in a friendly Bavarian manner. It doesn't take long for your order (drinks and food) to arrive. A good and plentiful selection of Bavarian and other dishes. Beautifully presented. Everything tasted okay. The price was reasonable.

*A piece of Bavaria in the heart of Rosenheim* Last night we visited the Gasthaus zum Stockhammer, a traditional Bavarian inn in Rosenheim's old town, and we were not disappointed!

We enjoyed a delicious pork knuckle with two types of dumplings. Friendly, attentive service! We'd love to come back...

The restaurant was a little difficult to find, but I was still surprised by the delicious food and the friendliness of the staff. It was a pleasure and I would come back anytime!

Unfortunately, I can only give it 3 out of 5 stars because we didn't really feel at home. The food - the pork knuckle and roast pork - were, without exaggeration, excellent and absolutely delicious. However, we were really disappointed with the service. It took a while before we were even noticed, and the waiters were hectic even though there really wasn't much going on that evening. I also felt that there was a lack of friendliness; you didn't feel like a guest but rather like you were being brushed off, especially when they started "cleaning up" by taking the beer mat, salt and pepper, etc. from our table, as if to get out of there and get some rest. We won't be going there again.

Grilled knuckle of pork with a fantastic crust, but the meat was unfortunately a bit dry. Delicious dumplings and sauce. The coleslaw is a matter of taste; most of the other tables also just tried it and left it alone. Friendly service and good beer 🍺

I was on my way to the trade fair and spontaneously stopped at the Gasthaus zum Stockhammer. Really rustic inn with really good Bavarian cuisine. The food came quickly, was hot and tasted like Grandma's used to. Service was friendly and not stressed despite being busy. The price is also ok for the location in the middle of Rosenheim. When I'm back in the corner I'll definitely take a look there again

If you don't come spontaneously it's definitely better. We were sitting somewhere in the hallway. Larissa, the waitress, was very attentive to us. The rest is at best correct. Onion roast with beans and some fried potatoes was correct. I wouldn't order it again.

Rustic traditional restaurant in the middle of the city. Easy to reach because it is centrally located. Solid dishes from German cuisine. If you like something hearty, you're in good hands here.

A beautiful Bavarian inn in a prime location. The food is good, the portion is good and the price is right too. Nevertheless, I can only give it 3 out of 5 stars because the service was absolutely not good and everything took a very long time.

Absolutely terrible. Unfriendly and completely overwhelmed staff from start to finish. No structure in acting and dealing with customers. If 4 guests say: it was NOT tasty, they don't even question it. Selling pork belly as roast pork is a disgrace. BUT nobody cares because new customers come in all the time. MASS PRODUCTION in perfection. We will never set foot in this “restaurant” again!!!

Typical restaurant located in the center, but still with plenty of parking nearby. Very welcoming, with lots of wood, in a historic setting. We ate soups and grilled meat. Both very good, with generous portions. Even though the place was very full, they served us very quickly. The dining room staff is friendly. I recommend booking on the weekend.

We had 1x crispy zucchini plants garnished with salad bouquet and 1x cheese dumplings with ratatouille. We enjoyed it very much and were completely satisfied.

It's a mystery to me why I HAVE to order three dumplings when I know I can only eat two. According to the waiter, he is not allowed to give a “children’s portion” if you are over 14 years old. I think it's pretty unnecessary. But the food itself was good

It's really difficult to find a restaurant in Rosenheim - they all look very attractive. We chose the Stockhammer. An absolutely good decision! We were served attentively, friendly and quickly - thanks to the waiter team! We had pork knuckle and goulash. The knuckle was the best my friend has ever eaten! It had crispy skin, tender meat and great taste. My goulash was not inferior - it was great! Tender meat, great sauce, really good! We would love to come back!

Perfect service. Fast, friendly, very attentive, and the food is of the best quality and simply delicious. We had a vegetarian dish, a schnitzel and a grilled plate, everything was served very promptly and it was simply delicious. We had zero complaints and the service was very quick and friendly. Had pork knuckles for lunch. Full house. The waiters in full operation. Still friendly and hardworking. You can forget the little things, the mustard. The food was very tasty and hot.

Wanted to drink 1-2 beers (beer garden!!!!!!!) The waiter said I had 20 minutes. I thought it was a joke. Even though there were still at least 10 tables available, he came and told me to pay and leave. That's not possible. Staff unfriendly and arrogant. Never come back!!!!!!!

There were eleven of us at the class reunion in the “basement” and we were really loud and exuberant! The food was great, the atmosphere was very nice and the waiters were friendly, quick and accommodating. Despite our loudness 😊 by the way, I had a very tasty onion roast that I can only recommend!!! Big portion!!! Gladly again!
