the food and drinks are good, can recommend, but it was quiet and a street violin was playing in the garden and the owner aggressively insulted him and kicked him out, he wasnt even bothering anyone and he made the atmosphere better. he didnt even ask for money or anything. i find it sad he was so unprofessional about kicking him out, nobody wanted him to go.

The atmosphere, the location, the vibe and the service make this restaurant very enjoyable. The beer is also very good! Food is decent - don't expect to be knocked off your feet with this one, but the place makes up for it with the ambiance. You almost feel like you're transported to a different time.

As a long-time resident of Rosenheim, I can only recommend everyone to visit this "Rosenheim institution." Good food, one of the best wheat beers anywhere, and the authentic Bavarian atmosphere. The staff are also very friendly and busy. If you don't like that, don't come back.

Actually, I'd rather praise than comment negatively. We didn't eat there 🙏, just to put it into context. However, they don't seem to take cleanliness so seriously here. The drink glasses had only been rinsed briefly, and the (ladies') restroom immediately reminded my history-loving wife of the hygienic conditions in Hamburg in June 1350, when the plague claimed 6,000 victims there. So if you want to be transported back to the conditions here in Hamburg in 1350, you can easily do so with a five-minute toilet break at the "Fischküche Rosenheim." The fried fish wasn't good, just deep-fried. The potato salad and service, however, were good.

Brutal...🤮 Absolutely run-down. A pure drinking den. The restroom, if you can call it that, stinks of piss so bad it's disgusting, and there's even a separate sink for vomiting. I'm just surprised this drinking den isn't shut down for hygiene reasons. People, go somewhere else... absolutely terrible.

The legendary Angelika serves orders with confidence, no matter how stressful the situation. We had a great time and would love to come back. The charming character of the interior further rounds out the experience. We'll be back, cheers!

I've been going to the Fischküche for 40 years because I enjoy the food there and the people are friendly and down-to-earth. In the summer, there's a beer garden and seating in front of the house under the trees; in the winter, there's a cozy dining room and a beer garden with patio heaters. The restaurant is a part of Rosenheim life, especially during Carnival and the Wirtshausroas (Inn Roas). The food is hearty, home-style; the Bierbichler wheat beer is highly recommended.

I had to run inside - the waitress said she'd be right out - but when she came back five minutes later, she was taking other people's orders, but not mine. I had to run back inside. Yes, the waitress is alone, I understand that, but then it's up to management to ensure there are enough staff. As a guest, you shouldn't have to suffer because of that.

The highlight of our Rosenheim excursion! What a great pub! The map? Perfectly put together with real classics that you can only find in a really good, traditional pub. The food? Simply fantastic – down-to-earth, tasteful and prepared with a lot of love. But what really rounded off this experience was the service: gracious, attentive and simply warm. No matter how busy it was, the team didn't notice the stress. Hospitality is still alive here, and that makes the visit all the more pleasant. And then the absolute highlight: the wheat beer! Incredibly good - so good that that alone is a reason to come back. In short: If you are in Rosenheim, you should not miss this inn. I'll definitely be back - and not just because of the city, but because I definitely want to eat here again!

The food was good. The waitress was alone, but had the shop under control. I just think it's a little too loud. Of course that's part of a pub, but here it's extreme.

Delicious hearty food and good beer. Generally a very down-to-earth, warm restaurant with friendly staff. Even if you're traveling as a larger group, there's always been a place available for us in the fish kitchen :) You're served very nicely and quickly get something to drink to quench your thirst. Mixed clientele, everything from students to regulars' tables to evenings. All in all 10/10 experience in summer and winter.

On November 29th, 2024 I made a reservation by telephone for a white sausage meal on December 24th, 2024 at 11 a.m. for 11 people, which was promptly confirmed. It was not necessary to specify the number of sausages and pretzels. The statement was "we have enough, it's an issue." We showed up shortly before 11, with the information that 6 of us would be arriving later. This wasn't a problem either, they said, and they immediately stole a table from us that had been allocated for other guests. We would then be informed that a new table would be available for us immediately and that you would bring it to us. The other people showed up at around 11:20 a.m., but the table that was promised to us hadn't shown up yet. 20 minutes later the promised table came to us and the other people could now sit down too. After 20 minutes, we picked up drinks ourselves and brought them to the service, because so far no service has thought it necessary to take drinks from your guests. After another 15 minutes, our own guests also took in the food with the number of sausages and pretzels and brought them to the service. After about 1.5 hours after our reservation (around 1:30 p.m.) we dared to ask the question what happened to the order we had placed for the white sausages and pretzels. The innkeeper replies: "We never have that many here." The conclusion was that, despite the high demand on December 24th, 2024, there was still a place available at the Stockhammer for 10 people, so that we could start the journey home towards Freising with “full bellies”. Despite everything, I still have one comment: Leftover food and chewing gum from the previous day certainly don't belong on assigned tables with menus handed out to guests.

We had made a reservation for the Weisswurst breakfast at 11 a.m. on December 24th, 2024.... unfortunately part of our reservation came 10 minutes later, during which time the host had already removed our table and given it to another reservation.... he said he would get it A new table straight away, which came after 20 minutes, unfortunately we didn't have any chairs... we picked up the drinks ourselves after 45 minutes and limited them ourselves... since we were already there, we did the service ourselves and We also picked up our own food... we then ordered it directly from the waiter and he typed it into the cash register... after more than an hour later, so we're now talking about 1:30 p.m., I asked where our food was stays only to find out after a bit of back and forth that the boss has run out of weisswurst. Unforgettable I have never experienced anything like this in 25 years of gastronomy!

There were apparently problems with service that evening because the restaurant was very busy. It was also very loud in the restaurant - you couldn't have a conversation in a normal voice. The food, however, was excellent.

I am biased. This was already our favorite place when we were at school. So the main pleasure is still enjoying the local wheat beer here with friends. Food is decent, but not the premier attraction. This time the soup was terrible and the trout a disaster, Service good. Mens' toilette underwhelming, almost unacceptable.

Ambiance, well, whoever likes it. Some call it quaint. It's not mine. Everything is a bit shabby and unclean. The table was sticky and needed some cleaning. The food was good. Therefore also a star. The service was rather unfriendly and gave the impression of being annoyed. What's not possible is the medieval men's toilet with its rusty piss drain! Rather reminiscent of a prison camp in Siberia. Never again!

At the moment you can once again enjoy fish dishes and home-style Bavarian dishes of very good quality in a very rustic ambience. When the weather is nice, there is also a small, cozy beer garden where you can sit outside. The wheat beer made from an old recipe is and remains legendary. An insider tip in the middle of Rosenheim!

Wir durften am 24.8.24 unsere Hochzeit im LYCHEES Rosenheim feiern und hatten dort wirklich einen traumhaften Tag! Wir haben das Lokal bewusst ausgewählt, weil wir das Essen dort lieben und das Ambiente wunderschön finden. Das Team vom Lychees hat uns über alle Erwartungen hinaus total umgehauen: schon das Vorspeisen-Buffet war optisch und kulinarisch eine Wucht! Auch die Hauptspeisen waren wie immer frisch, knackig, lecker und ein Gaumenschmaus. Beim Nachspeisen-Buffet haben nicht nur die Kinderaugen geleuchtet. Alle unsere Gäste waren von der Verköstigung völlig begeistert. Das Service-Personal war absolut klasse: schnell, herzlich, freundlich und fleißig bis spät in die Nacht. Das echte Lächeln und der sichtbare Spaß bei ihrer Arbeit verdient in unseren Augen besondere Erwähnung und hat dazu beigetragen, dass alle Gäste sich ausgesprochen wohl und wertgeschätzt fühlten. Das Flair im Lokal ist einfach einmalig: hier braucht man nicht mehr viel aufwendigen und teuren Blumenschmuck – denn das Lychees ist fast Deko genug. Wir wollten keine langweilige, angestaubte Gaststube, nein: das stylische Lychees war für unsere urbane Sommer-Cocktail-Hochzeits-Party einfach perfekt! „Hausfotografin“ Nici hat die besonderen Momente wunderschön und professionell mit ihrer Kamera eingefangen und ihre extravagante Fotowand hat unseren Gästen großen Spaß und schöne Erinnerungen gezaubert. Selbst unsere Freie Trauung haben wir auf der Sommerterrasse des LYCHEES abgehalten – unter einem Rosenbogen und mit rotem Teppich gaben wir uns an diesem warmen Sommerabend vor der feinfühligen Rednerin Brita das Ja-Wort. Das Rosenheimer Trio „Soul Sofa“ hat diese Zeremonie mit ihrem Sound perfekt gemacht. Später hat „Haus-DJ“ Enko unseren Gästen gehörig eingeheizt und die Bude zum Beben gebracht. Man spürt, dass im Lychees von der Chefin bis zum Küchenteam alle das lieben, was sie tun. Weil sie mit dem Herzen dabei sind, im Vorbeigehen mit der Hüfte schwingen, zum richtigen Zeitpunkt ihre Gläser miterheben und am Ende des Abends auch mal die Tanzfläche rocken. Egal zu welchem Anlass – hier ist man wirklich bestens aufgehoben. Liebes LYCHEES Rosenheim, ihr habt unsere Hochzeit für uns unvergesslich gemacht! Von Herzen DANKE!

The fish kitchen in Rosenheim is a real recommendation and deserves 5 stars for its excellent dishes! In addition to a wide selection of fresh fish, there are also delicious alternatives such as juicy steaks and vegetarian dishes. The quality of the ingredients and the careful preparation are outstanding. The service is attentive and friendly, and the staff provides competent advice. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, but it is given 4 stars because the location in the middle of the city is practical and easily accessible (near the bus station), but offers less peace and quiet. Overall, a great restaurant that is definitely worth a visit!

I've been coming to the Fischküche for over 40 years because of the ambience and the Bierbichler! simple, but when I got the sausage salad I was really angry, counted the sausages, the cheapest and... So just go there for a beer! Too bad!

How do you recognize a good Bavarian economy? Making noodle soup! Excellent 👍 Hot, with a homemade broth, refined with fresh herbs and not overcooked soup greens. Bierbichler Weisbier is an institution anyway. The Tyrolean Gröstl was also great. The innkeepers were very accommodating and friendly. Worth a visit. However, if someone is looking for a new ambience, this is the wrong place. I like it and I hope it stays that way🙋‍♂️

Once again, everything was as it should be during this visit to the beer garden. Good beer, good food, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Plus the perfect weather, just as it should be. And all of this in the middle of the city. Always worth a visit. Excellent home-style cuisine, the best beer, what more could you want?

There are only 2 fish dishes in the "Fischküche Rosenheim" but a majority of meat dishes. With this name "Fischküche" I would have expected a reverse ratio of fish to meat. There was a lot of vinegar in the potato salad with the fried fish; when I told the waitress this, she snapped She grabbed a forkful from my plate, put it in her mouth, said there was little vinegar on it and hissed off. The fried fish was burnt too black on one side (photo). No recommendation.

Wir haben ordentlich und viel gegessen, aber sicher nicht "sehr" gut. Das Essen hatte eine gute Qualität, die Zutaten wirkten frisch. Dennoch wurde viel mit Geschmacksverstärkern gearbeitet. Warum muss das sein? Die Erdnusssoße war leider gar nicht gut. Der Service ist noch ausbaufähig. Die Getränke kamen erst nach nochmaliger Aufforderung und dann auch nur noch knapp vor den Speisen. Zu zweit haben wir 100 Euro ausgegeben. Dabei hatte jeder nur ein Getränk. Für das Gebotene ist das zu viel.

Three of us ate here on a Monday evening. The restaurant offers a simple menu with classic Bavarian dishes. This is served simply and without any fancy on the plate. The service deserves special mention. We felt welcome from the first moment and were warmly welcomed. We are happy to still be a host here! After we ate, we actually wanted to move on to go have a drink. But the plan was quickly overturned and we stayed until after midnight, drinking and chatting with Wirt's wife. A really great atmosphere that seemed almost family-like. We can recommend the fish kitchen to anyone who appreciates simple cuisine and wants to end the evening comfortably.

The very rustic restaurant is a bit hidden, but really an insider tip. The food is very tasty and the family-run restaurant is original, cozy and the food is made and served with love. It tasted really good. We, a family from southern Bavaria, will definitely come back and can highly recommend it. 10 out of 10 points

The Fischkuchl in Rosenheim has been tried out in both summer and winter. Nice beer garden and a gracious pub. If you didn't know better, you'd think you were somewhere in Lower Bavaria or Upper Bavaria at the Dorfwirt. Fair prices, nice staff, the huts are always full.

Das Ambiente ist mega stylish und die perfekte Mischung zwischen „schick“ und „gemütlich“, das Farbenspiel und Design im ganzen Laden wunderschön. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist top und es schmeckt suuuuperlecker: knackiges, frisches Gemüse, perfekte Schärfe, große Portionen zu fairen Preisen - serviert in hochwertigem, exklusivem Geschirr. Das macht absolut was her! Das Servicepersonal ist schnell, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich hier als Gast in höchstem Maße wertgeschätzt und willkommen. Wir kommen garantiert bald wieder.
