Unfortunately, a very unmotivated waiter told us that no more food orders were possible at 8:30 p.m.! We would have been happy with that, had other waiters not been serving food to other tables that arrived after us.

Unfortunately, the kitchen was already closed today, or rather, yesterday evening. However, a very friendly member of staff advised us where we might be able to get something to eat. Unfortunately, that was also in vain. However, the friendliness and friendliness of the staff member—we later learned his name (Abel)—was so incredibly warm and refreshing that we decided to stop by again even without eating and enjoyed the evening to the fullest. What a friendly atmosphere is all about. We're so excited that we'll be back again today. We're vacationing here in Rosenheim for a few days and will try the kitchen today, naturally hoping that the friendly and welcoming gentleman will be there again ;-)

Beautiful restaurant, both inside and out. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was very dry, and the rest of the food was also rather average. The service could also be improved. Everything from mixed-up dishes to long waits for drinks was a problem. Unfortunately, our server was completely untrained in allergies. Serving a slice of bread with wheat in it on the salad for someone with celiac disease, even though it was clearly stated that no gluten was allowed on the plate, was simply unacceptable!

It's probably the largest pub in Rosenheim's old town! And rightly so! We were there for three days and visited this pub every evening! Despite the stress, the staff was always friendly and humorous! The food is Bavarian and truly delicious, and the Augustiner beer is top-notch! I highly recommend it! 👍

We were your guests on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning and had a wonderful time both days. We were especially impressed by the white sausage breakfast on Sunday. Our little prince received a plate of green cucumbers, which he loves. The lovely waiter didn't even charge us for them. Thank you again for that. We'll be happy to come back next time we visit Rosenheim.

Outside in the beer garden, you can sit comfortably under umbrellas; inside it can be a bit dark—but cozy. Highly recommended!

Today, my husband and I wanted to have dinner at the Augustiner at 5:00 p.m., but a waiter told us in an unfriendly tone that they weren't serving any more food, only drinks. We left the restaurant immediately. We, too, will avoid the restaurant in the future.

I don't know what happened today, but I had to wait an hour for food, then the potato salad was gone and the dumplings I got as compensation were terrible.

On June 1, 2025, we were allowed to sit in your restaurant after being turned down at a neighboring restaurant – they only had tables for four people, and we were with a cheerful group of five. Thanks to your friendly staff, we were able to quickly find a table and decide what we wanted to enjoy. The food wasn't just delicious, it was a true feast for the palate! But let's be honest, the food alone doesn't make a great restaurant. The real hero of the day was Matija! A real joker who immediately captivated us with his humor – perfect for our fun group. Yes, I admit I had to wait a little longer for my Kaiser Schmarrn, but don't worry! Your team immediately knew how to accommodate guests – a free liqueur came to the rescue! Add to that Matija's witty remarks, and we immediately felt at home. Thank you for your hospitality! Please keep up the good work! A truly rustic, typically Bavarian inn. They serve Augustiner beer on tap, which is a huge plus. The food is excellent, and they serve all the Bavarian classics. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Rosenheim.

Since the change of tenant, things have definitely changed. The traditional Bavarian pub fare here is of a solid standard, and the chefs are also daring to try new dishes, such as the Hoass'n Hund, a Bavarian interpretation of the hot dog. All in all, definitely worth a visit, especially if you can sit outside on Max-Josefs-Platz.

Ausreichend große Portionen mit traditioneller bayerischer Küche. Trotz gut belegter Tische und krankheitsbedingtem Personalausfall, war das Serviceteam immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Verlängerte Wartezeit aus genannten Gründen wurde gleich zu Beginn fair angesprochen. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben und kommen gerne wieder!

The menu is not very appealing and varied. The waiter was very nice and quick. The food itself was standard, but nothing more. In the next room, a woman was constantly laughing so loudly that it became disturbing after a while. An extra 50 cents were charged for the ketchup with the fries. This is included in all the restaurants we have been to so far. What was positive was that the schnitzel was made in the pan and not in the deep fryer like in many restaurants.

The restaurant in the heart of Rosenheim is really beautifully decorated. Sitting outside is possible and very pleasant in the spring sun. The waiter immediately brought me a manageable menu. I ordered a beer which also tasted excellent and fresh. After following the waiter's recommendation, I ordered a roast pork with two kinds of dumplings, dark beer sauce and coleslaw. When my “roast” arrived on an oversized plate after a short time, I lost my appetite just by the smell and appearance of the food. A dark brown pudding-like mush covered 2 slices of lukewarm, completely overcooked, disgusting-tasting pork that had nothing whatsoever to do with a roast. The coleslaw was homemade but unfortunately tasteless and I don't even want to talk about the mini ready-made dumplings. Since I wasn't able to eat it, I had to complain or return it. Unfortunately, I was hungry and then ordered a Gröstl, which I ate except for the dry and burnt pieces of roast My conclusion: Great restaurant, excellent beer, friendly service, but don't go there to eat!

Simple and rustic atmosphere. Clearly designed food, drink and daily menu, everyone should find something. Cordon Bleu with Obazda and fried potatoes was great, first-class and large side salad. Very attentive and above all friendly service.

Great inn! The food is very good and if you leave here hungry you have done something wrong. They aren't available that often in Bavaria, but I can highly recommend the rosé for non-beer drinkers.

We had hand-rolled herb dumplings which we liked, but were a bit too dry, and we also had a cheese spaetzle which we also enjoyed. I have to add that the cheese spaetzle only cost €9.90 and that's a really good price. The crowning finale for us was the “Homemade Kaiserschmarrn”, you really have to try it, very, very tasty. Since the Kaiserschmarrn is freshly prepared, the waiting time lasts half an hour. - friendly service staff - Really top value for money - great ambience - Urgently try “Homemade Kaiserschmarrn”. The point of criticism for us was the volume, which is very high, but despite the volume we will come back!
