Prices are ok, service is attentive and friendly and the food is good. You can do it

Unfortunately, the Wilde Männle in Oberstdorf did not meet our expectations. The meat in the gourmet pan was clearly overcooked, which unfortunately affected the enjoyment. The fries, however, were good. The service was mediocre. Even if a reservation is necessary, we probably won't come back.

The restaurant is not at all wild and very attractive, rustic but cozy. We went to Wilde Männle twice during our vacation and ate twice. The liver dumplings could have tasted a little more like liver; one of the three Viennese-style schnitzels was riddled with tendons. That was a bit unfortunate. But we were very satisfied with the goulash soup, spinach dumplings, knuckle meat, the pancakes and the salad. The service was very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back.

Without a reservation, we were assigned a table after about 15 minutes. The food was really very tasty. We had the knuckle, schnitzel, roast, dumplings, spaetzle and fries. There were 5 of us and everyone enjoyed it very much. I haven't eaten any better spaetzle. The gravy is really good too. We will definitely visit the restaurant again next time we visit the city.

Visited 1/8/25. This day is schnitzel day. Inexpensive and well eaten. Friendly conditions. Live music was added later. We'll be back.

Very traditional Algäuan family place, nice atmosphere. The service was extremely fast! From the moment I ordered till I got my plate in took like 4min! I ordered my favorite Bravarian dish, Spinat-Knödel, unfortunately the cheese sauce was not so good. Be sure to arrive early because the kitchen closes early as well. I added the menu for your convenience.

Such a stressed-out, strange Hungarian, and the receptionist spoke to me in a really stupid way. Food wasn't great either. Never again

The visit to Nebelhorn was an absolutely great decision 👍🏾 we received a very friendly welcome despite the dog and the food and service left nothing to be desired ☺️

We always enjoy being there because everything is just right.

There were six of us there. It was delicious and cozy. I ate Bavarian sausage salad for 13.90 euros as a shared side salad and pork knuckle with potato dumplings and red cabbage for 17.50 euros.

A great place to eat something after jumping. Despite the crowds, we were served quickly and the food was really delicious.

Unfortunately, I haven't eaten worse food in a long time. We ordered goulash, pork shank, schnitzel and roast, the pork shank did not resemble pork shank because the meat was hard and tasteless. Beef goulash oversalted. The schnitzel was also oversalted and the breading was hard because it was deep-fried. Overall, I recommend but avoid this restaurant. And to the owners, you should change the oil more often when making French fries. If someone doesn't care about taste, they probably won't care. But if someone appreciates taste, I do not recommend this restaurant.

We were there twice within 4 days, and if we had stayed for a week, we would have gone a third time. The place is full, you have to be lucky to get a seat, but that shows the top quality of the restaurant. Well organized, very friendly staff and hearty German home cooking with lots of choices. Got the main course a minute after the last spoonful of my soup, even though the shop was full to the last chair on a Saturday evening.

Great atmosphere & hearty dishes. There is often live music and very nice staff. There are also plenty of seats in the winter garden and outside area.

The service was really good and prompt. We didn't get full from the daily special, which was probably smaller than the normal portions. But the waiter was clever and sold us a Kaiserschmarrn and we were already full. It was too much “clearance” for us.

Nice, rustic restaurant in Oberstdorf with live music on certain days. Was nice.

We really liked it again - the service has the store under control and is always friendly and always has a funny saying and asks if everything is okay - rarely experienced so well. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. The ambience is also exactly to our taste.

We had dinner with you yesterday, everything was great, the food tasted very good, the service and music were really great. We'd love to come back, even if it says Schalke in the display case😊But we hope that they'll be playing in the first league again soon, because the Revierderbies are missing a bit in Dortmund😃

Quaint Bavarian inn as you would imagine. Good food, good beer, very crowded and sometimes rather loud. Was a nice stay. The food can only be recommended. Homemade spaetzle and a good salad. Jägerschnitzel was great. There was also singing/yodeling at the neighboring table. Would love to come back.

I celebrated my 60th there in a small circle. Beautifully set table, very elegant, extremely friendly and courteous service. The food was perfect, tasty and, above all, plentiful. 10 different dishes and, according to all the guests, excellent. It was a beautiful day that we spent there and everyone was happy and we felt very comfortable. Thank you dear team.

The roast pork with red cabbage and potato dumplings tastes delicious. like grandma's. Full marks! Unfortunately a little too little sauce. It tasted wonderful and I would have liked more to dip the dumplings into. The conditions were very friendly. The ambience of the terrace was so-so. The sun was already shining, but there were construction sites with holes in the ground and fluttering tape. The good taste of the food was convincing.

Absolutely disappointing! We just wanted a drink and waited for 20 minutes while the waiter saw us several times but never came to us. Being ignored even though you just want to order is really disgraceful. Such poor service - definitely not a recommendation. Maximum 1 star!

Highly recommended 👍 We were there after the ski jump in Oberstdorf and had only made a reservation for 15 people at short notice. We were told no problem, you can find a place. We might just have to sit in the outdoor area, but there are radiant heaters there. We then had a place in the beautiful, warm winter garden. The waiters are prompt, courteous, everything is good. The food was served relatively quickly (it was busy) and was very tasty. Everyone was happy and more than full. Certainly not a bargain in terms of price, but the performance is right 👍we'll be happy to come back when we're nearby

My husband really enjoyed both the whole knuckle and the duck. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the salad with the turkey. It came to the table pretty raw and was reheated again, but for I would have expected almost 20 euros more. Traditional dishes looked much better. Too bad.

I had a large mixed salad with turkey strips. The turkey strips turned out to be breaded turkey schnitzel cut into strips. But so far everything is ok. I just know it differently; as a crispy fried turkey and then not breaded with a salad. Different countries, different customs 😀 Update 10/15/24: The goulash soup was to die for. Highly recommended.

At the beginning you are given a list of what is not available. Then the soup is discouraged. A pilsner is quickly conjured up from a shandy. But the waiter has a very high entertainment value. Completely overwhelmed but at least unfriendly. The good thing about the shop is that you At least after 1.5 hours the leftovers from the kitchen are thrown onto the table. Highly recommended for people who don't want to eat or drink anything.

The first time making cabbage donuts was really tasty. When the weather was very good, the only thing that bothered us outside was the wasps, but the restaurant can't do that.
