Nice, quick service. Food (Kaiserschmarrn) was great

We were there today and ordered the lentil soup twice. I also pointed to the card with the “vegan” category. We were brought two soups with sausages. When we said that we didn't order with sausages, the waiter said that there were two "variants" and the "normal" variant was the one with sausages. If I order a "lentil soup" I assume that it will be without sausages, otherwise I would have ordered a "lentil soup with sausages" as it says on the menu. The waiter then didn't want to bring us a new one without sausages, or we would have had to pay twice. My point is not that there was a misunderstanding, but that the waiters unfortunately reacted very uncomprehendingly and rudely.

Great view. But the price-performance ratio just doesn't fit.

After the hike from Prinz Luitpoldhaus to Nebelhorn, we unfortunately missed the last descent to Oberstdorf :-(( and then had to walk to Seealpe. From there a taxi was able to pick us up to Oberstdorf. Even though the Seealpe was officially closed, they were super nice and ordered the taxi for us and served us cold drinks that revived our spirits. A really great beer garden with a beautiful view. I will definitely come back. Thanks again to you.

Despite full tables, fast service, delicious homemade plum cake and mountaineering pizza 😋. Clear recommendation!

Since I already visited the Seealpe in 2020 on a hike around the Faltbach Tobel, it was now on the program again. On the way to Nebelhorn we made a quick stop for a drink. It was good as usual, attentive and friendly staff, good seating. We didn't eat anything this time, so no review. All in all, a pleasant and recommended stop

Super tasty. The food was very good value for money and was served within 12 minutes despite the packed beer garden.

Due to poor network connection only cash payment possible...no, that's clear! Not having zero drinks rounds off the “80s stop here nothing will change” charm... go one floor down to the village, the Kaiserschmarn costs half as much and the network seems to be more stable!

We stopped at Seealpe. Very friendly service. The view is magnificent. We were able to share a dish. No extra charge. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Unfortunately the weather turned bad and we had to start the descent earlier.

I think it's stupid that you don't get hot food after 3 p.m., I saw that others got hot food after 3 p.m. I was told there was nothing left

It was a great experience! Resting after a strenuous hike, eating well and playing with the children felt really good. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and a wonderful view... Need more?

The mountain inn is right next to the first cable car station. This is surrounded by a wonderful alpine landscape. There are goats, rabbits and donkeys to pet. There is also a small artificial mountain lake there. We had Kaiserschmarn there and it was delicious.

Great location with delicious homemade food. Staff very friendly. This is a great place to spend some time when the weather is nice.

Get off at the Nebelhorn middle station. A nice walk around the lake. Enjoyed the weather. Afterwards you can dine on the sun terrace of the mountain inn. Delicious Kaiserschmarrn with almonds. Iced coffee and cake. It was delicious. Very pleasant.

You are very welcome here. The staff are very warm, friendly and attentive. The food is super delicious. If you don't necessarily want to invest your money in the system restaurant on the mountain, you should stop here on the way down to the valley. Attention: Only cash payment possible.

Terrace located at the foot of the first section of the cable car that goes up to Nebelhorn. Traditional food. The small beer is a 1/2 liter jug. Correct service. You can only pay in cash.

Excellent place to stop for refreshments at the foot of the Nebelhorn at the lower station of the cable car. The lake also has its charm

Were there on Wednesday. First we walked the Uff d'r Alp circular hike and then stopped for a stop. My husband had the Bergsteiger soup and I had the Bergler pizza. It was really great. The wood-fired bread was well topped with Bergkaes. One piece with chives on it, on the other fried onions and salad garnish. We were thrilled. Plus a nice, cool wheat from an Allgäu brewery. More is not possible

Be sure to make a stopover on the way back from Nebelhorn, walk around the lake, see the free-roaming cows, and enjoy the wonderful view of the Allgäu. Inn outdoor area, great cool drinks, mountaineering soup, excellent, top service

A lovely place to linger, enjoy the view and unwind. The sweet gentian spritzer (contains alcohol) is also very tasty. Although it didn't look spectacular, it tasted even better.

We stopped there on the way to the Nebelhorn. Great alp with a great panorama. The snack was the best I've ever had. More than enough and directed with love (cucumber=heart, a cheese cow). Prices more than fair. The staff very friendly. We will be back ;)

There is only one star because of the cheesecake, otherwise the employees were very dismissive and just wanted to get off work early and you were no longer allowed to go to the toilet, even though the opening time is until 5 p.m. We arrived at 4:15 p.m. only for the staff to leave us sitting alone outside the inn 10 minutes later, even though there were other guests there too. Absolutely not recommended.

Good hut with decent food friendly service. Particularly recommended after the climb through the Faltenbachtobel.

Ambiance would have earned 6 stars. Most beautiful stopover on the way to the summit. Tobogganing for the kids in winter and starting point for further hikes in summer.

Unfortunately I didn't have any cash with me. Super simple solution found via the Nebelhorntal station. Very trustworthy from the owner. Top !

I have never eaten a worse goulash soup. Very little meat and the rest was just mush.

The Kaiserschmarrn is one of the best in Germany. Nice and fluffy, crispy with plum roast and almond crust that tastes like freshly roasted almonds. The shepherd's meal (3 dumplings) and the cheese sparrows also taste great. The view is the reward after a climb from Oberstdorf.

Highly priced but in a great location

The service was still friendly even on the last day before the company holidays. The cheesecake was delicious, but unfortunately the coffee didn't deserve the name. That was really a shame.

Stopped there on the way back from Nebelhorn and just had a drink. A nice inn in a fantastic location. You can stop here with a clear conscience.

Rustic Alps (mountain restaurant) with good regional cuisine

Schöne Terrasse mit tollem Blick und auch nette Bedienung. Allerdings der angeblich hausgemachte Apfelstrudel mit der wässrigen Vanillesoße ohne Geschmack schmeckt nach TK-Ware und ist sein Geld definitiv nicht wert. Schade, dass können andere in Oberstdorf besser.

Alles beste an dass Team, super lecker, super schnell ohne Wartezeit, Regionale Gerichte, die Frau Kellnerin war sehr nett und schnell + E-Bike Ladestation für Bosch Akkus 👍 (Gen2-4)

Die Lage und die Aussicht sind wirklich sehr gut. Der Service ist ziemlich schnell allerdings etwas verpeilt. Mein Getränk wurde vergessen und kam erst auf Nachfrage. Leider kann ich zu dem Kaiserschmarrn nicht ganz soviel gutes berichten. Er war relativ hart und leider nicht fluffig. Schade, vielleicht hab ich auch einfach nur das Falsche bestellt.

Wahnsinn Lage, lecker essen, nette Bedienung

Um der Hitze in Oberstdorf zu entfliehen, sind wir mit der Nebelhornbahn zur Station Seealpe gefahren. Dort haben wir draußen an einem wunderbaren Plätzchen gesessen, etwas erhöht, konnten die Schafe und Lämmchen beobachten und haben sehr gut gegessen. Wir hatten einen Seealpefladen (Flammkuchen, mit Speck und Schmand und Bergkäse), und einen Leberkäse mit Spiegelei und Kartoffelsalat. Beides hat super geschmeckt! Hier waren wir nicht das letzte Mal! Besonders zu erwähnen ist die flotte und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung.

Kurz vor Schließung noch Getränke erhalten und sogar eingeschränkt Speisen angeboten bekommen.

Rundum zufrieden, leckeres Essen, gutes Bier und eine nette Bedienung.

Ich war in den letzten Tagen zwei Mal dort. Der Zwetschgenkuchen war zwar sehr lecker, allerdings bevorzuge ich kalten Kuchen einem warmen. Die Brotzeit, die wir einige Tage später hatten, war sehr gut. Ebenfalls stimmt das Ambiente und der Service.

Preise im oberen Mittelfeld, aber der Lokation geschultet. Ansonsten schnelle Bedienung.

Die Bedienung war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere 3 Hunde fühlten sich auch sehr wohl. Das Essen, der Linseneintopf war der Hammer 😍

Heute waren wir auf dem Nebelhorn und haben auf dem Rückweg auf der Seealpe Rast gemacht. Gerade wo wir uns hin setzten fing es an sich zu zu ziehen... ein schweres Gewitter zog auf. Maximalen respekt an das Team auf dem Berggasthof alles rein alle untergekommen egal wie alle haben ihre getränke uns Speisen sehr schnell bekommen. Trotz vielen Menschen und Unruhe alles im Griff gehabt. Hut ab weiter so!!!

Nett gesessen und gut gegessen bei bester Aussicht auf das Alpenvorland des Allgäu! Freundliche Bedienung und kurze Wartezeit auf Getränke und Essen rundeten den kurzweiligen Aufenthalt ab.

Freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wir hatten uns auf den Kaiserschmarrn gefreut, der jedoch leider überhaupt nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprach: kein fluffig-lockerer Teig, der Kaiserschmarrn wirkte nicht wie frisch gemacht (und kam dafür auch viel zu schnell). Und dafür war er mit fast 15 Euro viel zu teuer. Kann ich leider gar nicht empfehlen.

Nach einer kurzen Wanderung ein schöner Ort zum verweilen! Ein netter Ort mit leckerem Essen!

Wir haben zu fünft richtig toll zu Mittag gegessen. Mein Salat mit Hähnchen war klasse 😍 Der Rest der Familie hatte Kaiserschmarrn, Leberkäse mit Spiegelei und Kartoffelsalat, Gemüseflammkuchen und Kinder-Spaghetti Bolognese. Alle waren sehr zufrieden, der Service war sehr zügig und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr netten Bedienungen. Wir haben nur etwas getrunken,was auch gut so war. Als wir weiter wollten und noch kurz zur Toilette sind,war dort auch ein Küchenmitarbeiter,vermutlich sogar der Koch. Er hat sich nicht die Hände gewaschen 🥴

Service unkoordiniert,Essen und Getränke kommen in umgekehrter Reihenfolge,bei Bestellung mehrerer Gerichte kommt das zweite,wenn das erste schon aufgegessen ist. Auf freundliche Nachfrage über den Verbleib des zweiten Essens,patzige Reaktion des Herrn vom Servicepersonal. 4,20€ für einen Becher Kaffee, Kaffeesahne muss extra geordert werden.
