Top service and delicious roast pork

Excellent hotel in a prime location. Have stayed here twice and both times everything was great. We were able to check in early (overnight flight) even though they couldn’t guarantee it. Breakfast is included and very nice. Had dinner once and it was also very good. Will stop again.

We visited twice and felt very welcome. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a Bavarian brewery/tavern. The staff was also exactly what you'd hope for: friendly and efficient. The beer was clear, which is something you'd expect in Erding, and the food was really good – all the dishes, including the Kaiserschmarren. All in all, we'll gladly come back again in the future and recommend it without reservation.

On our first evening, we stopped by for just a drink and received a more than warm welcome, immediately feeling very comfortable. That's why we came back for dinner the following evening. It was great that they had braised beef cheeks! They were very tender and delicious, and the sauce had reduced beautifully. The pork knuckle was good, but we've had much better in Munich (in terms of both flavor and crispiness). The meatball and other meats were also very well seasoned and tasty. The portions were ample. Our absolute favorites were the wheat beer spritzer and the Kaiserschmarrn. It was the BEST we've ever eaten. The aroma of butter, almonds, and Kaiserschmarrn as it was being served was truly amazing. The taste was simply fantastic—fluffy, light, not too sweet, perfect.

Restaurant with good food and reasonable prices...

The inn and hotel is very centrally located in Erding. The rooms are good, but nothing special. The service is perfectly fine, and so is the food, typical Bavarian fare on the menu. It tastes okay, but we've definitely had much better, seemingly fresher meals elsewhere. Overall, it's a good place to stay in Erding, but nothing special. We simply expected more based on the name and advertising.

I highly recommend the crispy pork knuckle, especially with the side salad. The light beer was excellent – ​​be warned, it's quite thirsty! We dropped by on a whim and were immediately seated in the cozy pub. The service was quick and friendly. We even had a chat with a real Erdinger beer enthusiast at the next table.

We must have chosen the wrong dish, as it didn't impress us. We had duck with dumplings and roast beef with fried potatoes. The meat and dumplings were good. The red cabbage with the duck tasted like packet red cabbage, the fried potatoes were half potatoes with the skin on, not really fried, and the two types of onions consisted of packet roasted onions and half-raw regular onions. I would have expected more based on the reviews. The service was very friendly.

Hello, we were at Erdinger Weißbräu last Friday, October 17th at 6 p.m., about the 10th time. The food was top-notch as always, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was also excellent at first, until it came to paying. Unfortunately, my wife and I didn't have much cash with us and had to pay by card. Normally, there's always the option to leave a tip, but unfortunately, not this time. I paid by card and was about to take €5 out of my wallet when the waiter confronted me with a comment and a tone of voice that said, "Were you not satisfied with the service because you don't leave a tip?" I replied that normally there's the option to use the ATM. He then told me, "You have to tell me beforehand," but in a tone that was outrageous. We will definitely come back because we love the place. However, I recommend that everyone bring a tip and leave it on the table beforehand.

We went for lunch today. Excellent service, hot pretzel soup, and juicy, fresh roast pork and knuckle with side dishes. We'd be happy to go back anytime!

Delicious Bavarian cuisine with friendly service

Great lunch at Erdinger Weißbräu – with excellent service! We had lunch at Erdinger Weißbräu today and were completely thrilled! The food arrived quickly, was freshly prepared, and tasted simply amazing – just what we needed for a fortifying lunch break. The portions were generous, and the value for money was absolutely fair. A very special thank you goes to Anja, our server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You could immediately tell that she puts her heart into her job – we've rarely been treated so well! A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy a good lunch and feel comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Review of the restaurant... Unbelievable, but true, the restaurant was quite full, and we still felt a slight desire for something to eat and drink. We opted for a bottle of rosé wine (off-dry) from the menu. They brought us a bottle of rosé wine (medium dry) that wasn't on the menu, and we were told that was the bottle from the menu. Unbelievable. We then politely asked if we could exchange the bottle of wine. The waiter said, of course, and brought another bottle of white wine, which was half empty. Any questions? We finally got a bottle of white wine, but unfortunately, it wasn't chilled. White wine isn't as tasty... No question, the waiters are really nice and polite, but I do find it odd.

The food is great. The service not so much. Trying to pay I get no acknowledgement from my server as I try to flag him down 3/4 times (after ignoring me but taking orders from others at my table) I get barked at. Meh…

We've been to this beer garden several times now, and each time we immediately noticed the sticky, uncleaned tables. Today, I was also unlucky enough to be served a dirty glass with my Erdinger Grapefruit. I only noticed it when I poured it that there was still lipstick residue on it. Not exactly great for such a prestigious hotel and restaurant. The waiter, of course, brought me a new glass. And shortly after, a new Erdinger Grape... The pumpkin cream soup, the knuckle of pork, the "Gäubodenart" roast pork, and the wool sausages were all very good. The value for money was right here. What was a bit disappointing was the fact that we had to wait quite a long time for our food.

A great traditional Bavarian restaurant

We would like to have dinner with you, but when the waiter walked past us for the third time and did not take our order, let alone pay attention to us, we left hungry, which is a shame (it can't have been the stress, there were only a few guests there).

Very nice hotel in the middle of Erding

I can only speak highly of the restaurant. We had a cordon bleu, bratwurst, and dumplings in porcini mushroom sauce. To keep it brief: The food was absolutely fabulous. The cordon bleu was perfectly breaded. Generously and evenly filled. The fried potatoes were perfectly braised on the outside and so soft on the inside you could crush them with your tongue. The shandy was also very light, refreshing, and not too sweet. Finally, I would like to compliment the service. Charming and lightning-fast. Conclusion: If you're in Erding or the surrounding area, definitely visit the restaurant. I highly recommend it.

I can only speak about the beer garden. I didn't stay at the hotel. The service was very friendly. Due to the large number of people, a bit of a wait is normal, so it's not a negative point for me. The food was very tasty. Everyone has to decide for themselves what they like best about the drinks. We enjoyed everything. The location in the city center is perfect. Highly recommended 👍

Unfortunately, the prices here are now way overpriced for the food offered and the unfriendly service. There are much better restaurants in Erding!

We stopped there on a long journey to eat a schnitzel, and we weren't disappointed. Besides the incredible size of the schnitzel, the service was also very friendly and cheerful. The value for money is very good, and we highly recommend the Wiener Schnitzel. 🙂

Bit disappointed with my last visit. I love this place, but some people can make your business turn on its head. Greeting mutually in German but ask for the table in English. Seated by the table, but after 15 minutes of ignorance without receiving a menu left (while experiencing other tables around arriving after us and servised). So left for more friendly place around the corner. I value owner reaction to my review and will gladly visit again 👍

Don't go there. They gave us a dark table in the hallway next to the store, saying that they had reservations even though there were a lot of empty outdoor tables. When I went there, there were only Asians sitting there. The waiter didn't come around except to take our orders. The food and beer were not that good. This was the worst experience I've had out of all the famous German beer houses I've been to. It completely ruined the last day of my long trip.

We were in Erding for a week because of the war in Israel. We ate at the restaurant, the food was delicious, fresh, a huge selection of food. We visited the restaurant three times. We enjoyed it so much. Only the last time, people who were smoking sat next to us. It was very difficult for us. Smoking should be banned in restaurants. Anyone who wants to smoke should go out under the umbrellas and go smoke on the sidewalk. Other than that it was great

I can only review the inn, as I've never stayed there before. And then you have to differentiate a bit. The beer is well-known, and I particularly like the Urweisse, so the decision is easy. The food has always been good, but this time I was unlucky with the onion roast beef, which was unfortunately overcooked. Since I was quite hungry, I ate it straight away anyway. The waitress handled my criticism very professionally, pointed out that I should complain immediately next time, and gave me an espresso on the house. That's how I imagine service should be. I would definitely visit the inn again.

Good Bavarian food in the beautiful city center of Erding. Great value for money for the "Erdinger Weissbräu." The onion roast beef was medium-rare, and the Kasspatzn (cheese spaetzle) was a delight. The pork medallions with mushroom cream and spaetzle were also absolutely delicious. To finish, we had Kaiserschmarren (smothered pancakes) for two. This is what a good restaurant visit should be like – we'd happily go back again.

The food was really good, considering it's a Hofbräuhaus. We found the service to be friendly and courteous, but actually a bit slow. It wasn't busy, but we had to wait quite a while for service. So, we can recommend it and will come back next time we're in Erding.

On June 16, 2025, we stopped by the Brauhaus Erding. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered a Wiener Schnitzel and a Gäuboden roast pork. The food was absolutely amazing. What we paid here for two half-liters for €50 was even better! We would have paid a good €20 more in Potsdam. We'll be back!
