Stopped in for a quick midweek lunch. Excellent menu, great dining room, and the courtyard is also very well used. Weekly menu with a lunch under €12, very good, great quality. Would definitely go back.

The ambiance, with its mix of rustic and modern, has a magical charm. The food was excellent, well-balanced, and a different take on the menu. The dishes were presented with attention to detail. I found the idea of ​​a variety of schnitzel, breading, and side dishes refreshingly different. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. My partner had a burger and he thought it was delicious. The starter salad with Mediterranean dressing was excellent. My breaded fish with grilled potatoes and dip was good. The fish, unfortunately, was missing that certain something; it wasn't quite my cup of tea. The Kaiserschmarn (smothered pancakes) was amazing... easily enough for two :-)). We paid €70 for two drinks, one starter salad, two main courses, and one dessert... I think the price/performance ratio is completely reasonable. After all, you're dining in a traditional inn steeped in history. The ambiance is also absolutely top-notch.

We've rarely visited such a good restaurant. The schnitzels are incredibly delicious, and you can customize them to your liking. The staff is extremely friendly. We also really enjoyed the ambiance inside. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

A very good Bavarian restaurant in downtown Erding! From the roast beef with onions to the excellent stuffed schnitzel to the salad with chicken breast strips, everything tastes excellent and is absolutely reasonable in price. Even our American guests were amazed and felt very comfortable.

Thank you so much! It wasn't a big deal that we arrived five minutes before the kitchen closed and everyone ordered something different. Quite the opposite; all the staff were extremely friendly. The food was also exceptionally delicious and varied! The roasted onions, South Tyrolean Cordon Bleu, and dumpling trio were incredibly lovingly prepared and tasted amazing! If you're arriving at Munich Airport, you should definitely stop by before or after your trip and enjoy the hospitality and delicious food! Thanks to the entire team at Gasthof Post!!!

Super delicious food at a reasonable price. Even without a reservation, we were still able to get a table for three on a Saturday evening. One small suggestion for improvement would be to only clear plates after everyone has finished eating.

Everything is top-notch. Bavarian casualness and openness (my wife got a glass of wine right in the middle of Erding) meets perfection in the kitchen. Everything here feels as if it's conjured up in a flash. Prices are more than reasonable for the excellent service. We'll be back.

After visiting the Erding thermal baths, we spontaneously stopped by the beer garden with our children late one evening. The kitchen served us hot food just before closing time. Very, very tasty and very friendly service! I can highly recommend it.

Gasthof Post in Erding – four of us arrived around 5:00 PM and easily got a table even without a reservation. The food was excellent, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. An all-around successful visit – a definite recommendation!

Okay, the food was SUPER, the staff was friendly. What did I eat and what do I HIGHLY recommend? Classic pork schnitzel with fries. Firstly, that's two schnitzels for a reasonable price. Secondly, the fries are SO AWESOME and homemade, nice and crispy on the outside, not too soft on the inside. The schnitzel is AWESOME breading, thin and tender. It's simply so recommendable👍 With that, an iced tea. We had a drink voucher and were looking forward to a cool drink in the sunshine. Since the terrace was still wet, enjoying the beer in the sunshine wasn't possible. So, we sat inside and it took quite a while for our orders to be taken. The drinks arrived quickly, but we weren't treated to a warm welcome. The free drink could have easily turned into dinner. What a shame.

We went there spontaneously on a Friday evening. We didn't have a reservation or call ahead. They found a table for the four of us outside in the beautiful outdoor area, which is located in the quiet backyard. The service was super friendly and cheerful and we were seated. The waitresses were quick, friendly, and courteous. The menu selection was very extensive. The food arrived quickly and hot. Most importantly, it was delicious and the portions were normal. We had a really lovely evening there. If we come back to Erding, we will definitely come back.

We arrived after peak lunchtime. We were able to sit outside. Nice, quiet atmosphere. Service was friendly, but the food was ready very quickly. The three types of schnitzel were divine: The children's schnitzel was so large that it was perfectly adequate for even a small appetite, and even more so for growing children of 12 years old... I had a chicken schnitzel, and my husband had veal – perfectly cooked and crispy. The side salad was decent with its oil and vinegar dressing. The price was a bit high because all the ingredients are charged separately. Highly recommended! We'll be back.

The food tasted excellent, the portions were filling, and the price was absolutely reasonable. The various meat and breading options for the schnitzel add variety to traditional Bavarian cuisine and make the meal a little experience. Even vegetarians would find plenty of options on the menu, which is often difficult in Bavarian inns. The menu was beautifully designed and clear. The ambiance was classically rustic, as you would expect from a historic inn of this age. The service was also completely convincing. The staff are very friendly and manage to meet guests' requests quickly and reliably. Overall, highly recommended; we would gladly return.
