The ambiance is very pleasant, everything is tastefully decorated. It's also clean and tidy everywhere. The food is very good and of high quality. The portions are also quite generous. The entire team is very friendly and accommodating.

I was disappointed with the food because I quickly realized that pre-made products had been used, which I then pointed out. Instead of apologizing, they called the police because, after the first bite, I naturally didn't want to eat any more and wasn't going to pay for something like that. So I had to wait another hour until they arrived, took my details, and explained that it was a civil matter and that since I hadn't eaten, I didn't have to pay anything. Simply outrageous and unnecessary. It would be better to pay a good chef who makes everything fresh; then this kind of thing wouldn't happen!

We stumbled upon this place by chance for our fourth beer at lunchtime today and received a very warm welcome from everyone. Near the entrance, there are these cozy little seating areas where you can sit comfortably, have a drink, and chat with everyone. Great atmosphere, fantastic ambiance – we'll definitely be back.

We were in Erding on Saturday evening and wanted to grab a bite to eat before the concert. We spontaneously went to the Post restaurant, which was actually fully booked, but the friendly server gave us a table until 6:30 pm – truly excellent and very accommodating. The food and drinks were outstanding. The staff was super friendly. Absolutely fantastic! Thank you again!

A cozy restaurant with good food and very friendly staff. You're greeted warmly and shown to your table. You never have to wait long for your food or for anyone to ask if everything is alright or if you need anything else. The food is delicious and the portions are more than generous. We used to go here quite often, but we went back recently and were unfortunately disappointed. The seasoning was bland, and the supposed red wine sauce tasted like nothing, almost like mixed powder. The Spätzle were very, very soft; you could add more seasoning, but it was impossible to fix. The waiter just gave a half-hearted shrug. The only good thing was the warm chocolate cake. Oh well, what a shame, but we won't be going back.

Yeah...if you remember the Gasthof zur Post from 8-12 years ago, you'll be disappointed. We didn't have a reservation, and after some hesitation, we were seated in the upstairs adjoining room. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a truly rustic Bavarian feel. The menu is also seasonal, but not truly Bavarian. The new owner is trying to strike a balance between South Tyrolean and Bavarian dishes. The draft beer didn't impress us, unfortunately; they used to serve delicious Augustiner Edelstoff. Drinks and food were served quickly and arrived after a very short wait. We had the seasonal autumn schnitzel, filled with cream cheese, pumpkin, pumpkin seeds, Parmesan, and South Tyrolean speck; it was served with sweet potato fries. For our taste, it could have been more seasoned. I couldn't taste any speck or Parmesan. The filling on its own had a pleasant flavor, not overly seasoned. Unfortunately, the schnitzel and breading were rather underseasoned, so the overall combination tasted bland. A nice idea in principle. However, it should have had more "oomph" behind it. You can't go wrong with store-bought fries, so they were tasty, although I did have to add more salt. The stuffed schnitzel came without sauce, which unfortunately made it taste a bit dry due to the breading. There was an extra charge for the pumpkin mayo, which is why we didn't order it. The price was quite high. For two schnitzels and three Helles (0.5 L each), it came to €56.20. We knew the place from before and were looking forward to delicious Bavarian food. Unfortunately, that wasn't fulfilled; we should have taken a look at the menu beforehand.

I can definitely recommend Die Post. We enjoy coming here—even with larger groups—because everyone can find something delicious. The service is attentive and fast, the kitchen always offers seasonal dishes alongside the regular menu, and we like the beer selection, which is tasty. We feel completely at home.

We didn't have a reservation, and there was a sign outside saying they were fully booked. However, we had a voucher for two drinks and only had one more chance to come that evening. We politely asked if there was any room for two people, and they made it possible! Truly fantastic and extremely accommodating. Sure, the prices are a bit higher than at other restaurants, but you can expect top-notch service and top-quality food! Highly recommended!

This was our first time there for dinner. We were immediately impressed. The service was excellent, the food was perfect, and the selection was excellent. It was a culinary journey from Bavaria through Austria to South Tyrol. The atmosphere is that of a rustic inn where you feel at home. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and would return anytime. It would be our regular restaurant if it weren't three hours away.

We, the Pielachtal Truckers, were on a trip to MAN Munich last Friday. Afterward, one of our members came up with the spontaneous idea of ​​coming to you. So we called about an hour in advance. For 18 people. It was no problem. Now for the important part. The food was super delicious and definitely plentiful. The service staff were always attentive and very friendly. The wait wasn't a problem for me, considering there were 18 of us. I personally find the ambiance very cool. And the apricot schnapps afterwards was also very tasty. I might need that brand 😋😋😋 So all in all, definitely worth a visit. Thanks for everything 👌👌

Beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. My partner had a burger and he thought it was delicious. The starter salad with Mediterranean dressing was excellent. My breaded fish with grilled potatoes and dip was good. The fish, unfortunately, was missing that certain something; it wasn't quite my cup of tea. The Kaiserschmarn (smothered pancakes) was amazing... easily enough for two :-)). We paid €70 for two drinks, one starter salad, two main courses, and one dessert... I think the price/performance ratio is completely reasonable. After all, you're dining in a traditional inn steeped in history. The ambiance is also absolutely top-notch.

A very good Bavarian restaurant in downtown Erding! From the roast beef with onions to the excellent stuffed schnitzel to the salad with chicken breast strips, everything tastes excellent and is absolutely reasonable in price. Even our American guests were amazed and felt very comfortable.

Super delicious food at a reasonable price. Even without a reservation, we were still able to get a table for three on a Saturday evening. One small suggestion for improvement would be to only clear plates after everyone has finished eating.
