We casually found this place and decided to try it. What to say? ...LOVELY! Went there for a quick lunch with friends, ended staying for almost 3 hours. Fantastic ambience, very friendly staff, amazing food and great beers! We tried different local dishes (sweets included) and everything was absolutely delicious. Schnitzels were top. Recommended!

A real highlight! The duck was cooked perfectly – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside🤤 And the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert was simply heavenly😍. Every bite is a pleasure. Add to that the attentive and warm service – an all-round successful morning. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

A beautiful inn with small, rustic details and a cozy atmosphere. There are individual dining rooms, all of which are well filled. We were spontaneously able to get a table for 8 people. The service employee was very friendly and immediately pointed out to us that there might be waiting times because it was very busy. But that was completely fine. The food was very tasty, be careful with the trio of dumplings, there are 2 of each on it, you shouldn't have a starter, it's a lot😅 the other dishes were also very good and the plates were sufficiently filled. The price-performance ratio is great. It was a lovely evening.

Went there today to eat ducks at Kirta, waited 45 minutes, arrived at 1 p.m. 1/4 duck with 2 kinds of dumplings🙈🙈1 bacon dumpling! 1 potato dumpling, table tennis ball size, ridiculous, the duck was so small, must have been a special mini breed and the red cabbage was way too hard from the bite! The whole thing for a whopping €25.50😡Thank you, never again!

Delicious local cuisine with a modern twist. For example, there are schnitzels with many individual, freely selectable variations. The service is polite. The ambience is rustic and, as expected, Bavarian. We have been here several times and would love to come back.

We were a group of 6 people and reserved our table online using Google Reservation (which worked very well) during the journey to Erding. The restaurant really feels Bavarian, we were served very friendly and the food and beer were very tasty. If there was anything negative at all, it was that the pork on my Kutscher plate wasn't fully cooked through (might have needed another 1-2 minutes). But I would come here again.

Today we were here for the first time and I was really pleasantly surprised! Despite the full house, we got a seat within just 2 minutes - without a reservation. The staff was super friendly and the food was served quickly. The most important thing: it tasted great! Clear recommendation – we will definitely come back!

After a grueling Oktoberfest, I found myself in the room of the Gasthof zur Post, and my first impressions when I opened the wooden door were proof of the ecstasy that this experience promises. I often read puffy reviews that put the author and not the establishment in the right light, I don't want to be like that, a visit to this realm of culinary grandeur inspires everyone to expand their horizons in cosmic atmospheres, here you don't get the golden calf no Dionysus descends from Olympus and inspires us with a good mood.

The food looked nice, but was not really tasty. Service was unfriendly at first, but later it got better. Without a reservation we had to go to another room, which was not pleasant and not really necessary. We won't go there anymore.

We were here on a Saturday evening and reserved a table in advance. That was a good thing, all the tables were occupied. The restaurant is rustically furnished and everything, including the toilets, is clean, tidy and well-maintained. Only the volume was quite tiring. Maybe a few room dividers could lower the volume. The service is friendly and the order was taken quickly. There are colored pencils, something to paint and puzzles for the kids. We had veal & chicken schnitzel with fries. For dessert there was Kaiserschmarrn. The food was served quickly and was very, very good. The prices are absolutely fine. We'll definitely come back.

A lovely old rustic restaurant with a very good small menu. I ordered the pork knuckle and my wife the chicken schnitzel. Both were very, very tasty. Definitely worth a visit. The only disadvantage is the parking situation to visit the restaurant. But the owner of the restaurant can't help it.

The first day of vacation, after a long journey, we didn't want to cook in the apartment. So we quickly picked out an inn. The Gasthof zur Post was very inviting, clean and with attention to detail. The waitress was very friendly and brought pens and paper puzzles to the table for the children. So we could study the map in peace! The service was very friendly and on the ball 😉 and an anime/manga fan, as it turned out at the end. The drink was ordered and arrived straight away. I can highly recommend the homemade iced tea! It was super fruity, not too sweet, a hit on the palate. The children wanted to eat schnitzel and burgers, my husband had schnitzel with pumpkin vital breading and I had bread dumplings and chanterelles. All four dishes were really tasty and not too heavy on the stomach. I was able to take a photo of the burger and the bread dumplings with chanterelles. The other two couldn't wait any longer 😂 I was too late. The food came to the table quickly and beautifully garnished. Short waiting time and price performance was completely normal and ok. We'd love to come back and eat again! If you're looking for something with better home cooking, you've come to the right place. Highly recommended to you 👌

Der Garten aussen ist leider ungemütlich. Innen hat das Lokal eine sehr gemütliche Schwemme. Der Schweinebraten war sehrgut . Aber über 18 € zu teuer.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Erding! The staff is always friendly, drinks and food come quickly and they try very hard to offer Bavarian food in different variations. I've never eaten badly.
