Strong pub with great food and great, friendly service! Portion was okay, there was still room for a shared Kaiserschmarrn. ;-) Everything at the table super quickly!

And even on Saturday evening during rush hour we hardly had to wait! We would really like to recommend the Bavaria Schnitzel, fries & peppery salad. 101% recommendation

Great historic restaurant with delicious food and friendly service-8/2024

A lovely old rustic restaurant with a very good small menu. I ordered the pork knuckle and my wife the chicken schnitzel. Both were very, very tasty. Definitely worth a visit. The only disadvantage is the parking situation to visit the restaurant. But the owner of the restaurant can't help it.

Great service and very tasty food at fair prices!

The first day of vacation, after a long journey, we didn't want to cook in the apartment. So we quickly picked out an inn. The Gasthof zur Post was very inviting, clean and with attention to detail. The waitress was very friendly and brought pens and paper puzzles to the table for the children. So we could study the map in peace! The service was very friendly and on the ball 😉 and an anime/manga fan, as it turned out at the end. The drink was ordered and arrived straight away. I can highly recommend the homemade iced tea! It was super fruity, not too sweet, a hit on the palate. The children wanted to eat schnitzel and burgers, my husband had schnitzel with pumpkin vital breading and I had bread dumplings and chanterelles. All four dishes were really tasty and not too heavy on the stomach. I was able to take a photo of the burger and the bread dumplings with chanterelles. The other two couldn't wait any longer 😂 I was too late. The food came to the table quickly and beautifully garnished. Short waiting time and price performance was completely normal and ok. We'd love to come back and eat again! If you're looking for something with better home cooking, you've come to the right place. Highly recommended to you 👌

Beautiful Bavarian-style restaurant, just the way you want it. Hearty cuisine with very good food....the service staff could have taken a little more time for me....We had our food within a few minutes...that's great... but I come from Berlin....I'm used to having to wait half an eternity for my order...😂😂😂

Posto molto caratteristico, abbiamo atteso un pochino nella sala interna, la sala esterna era piena. Personale cortese e all'arrivo dei piatti ci siamo concentrati. Cibo molto buono e di qualità, rapporto qualità prezzo veramente soddisfacente. Ci siamo trovati bene, consiglio per chi è di passaggio.

Der Garten aussen ist leider ungemütlich. Innen hat das Lokal eine sehr gemütliche Schwemme. Der Schweinebraten war sehrgut . Aber über 18 € zu teuer.

I've been to Erding several times and have finally found the ideal inn. Good beer (with a decent selection), good food with good quality and described origin at a reasonable price, a dream :-)

My absolute favorite restaurant in Erding! The staff is always friendly, drinks and food come quickly and they try very hard to offer Bavarian food in different variations. I've never eaten badly. I also think it's great that you're also open in the afternoon. You're just doing so much right, please don't change anything about your politics🫶🏻

Great experience! As a vegetarian, I don't really like going to traditional restaurants, but I quickly found a lot of delicious things here. The service was quick and friendly and the food looked great. Gladly again.

We were there as a family with two children. The food is excellent. We had three different main courses and two desserts. Everything was very warm, even the cutlery. We haven't eaten something so good and tasty for a long time. The service was also friendly. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back. The price is high but you can't complain about the food.

Went to the thermal baths in Erding and then looked for something to eat. We came across the restaurant through the reviews and were absolutely thrilled! I haven't had such a delicious schnitzel in a long time. The light beer is also to die for. Highly Recommended

Typically Bavarian with appropriate dishes, schnitzel that you can put together yourself and are of very good quality. The menu is not overly crowded, the service was very friendly and despite the restaurant being full, we had the food quickly. We couldn't get a table online but tried it anyway. We found the prices to be very appropriate, definitely not overpriced.

Tolles Gasthaus. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen von dem netten Serviceteam. Sehr aufmerksam und es wird auch auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Das Essen war Klasse! Super schön serviert und auch geschmacklich top! Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Erding werden wir definitiv wieder kommen. Es hat alles gepasst.

HORRIBLE SERVICE Took forever to get our order. I had to go find waitress. Never came back for drink refills ask if we needed anything or bring the bill. Restaurant was empty at 2:00

One of the best restaurants we have found here in the region as holidaymakers. The food is as advertised as a culinary journey and is really of very good quality and taste. A good place to drink good beer too. We can only recommend the restaurant and will come here more often in the future. P.S. The service and friendliness of the staff is exceptionally good and will only be remembered positively. Thank you again for the good hospitality, which made the visit unique!!!

Citizens flesh was dry and burnt. Fries as like as Lidl… At €18 without a drink I think it's way too expensive

Bavarian and Austrian cuisine as well as many freely configurable schnitzel variants. You can also find Kaspress, spinach and bacon dumplings, salad variations and Kasspatzen. There is something for every taste including fish and steak. A special highlight is the Kaiserschmarrn, which is made with almonds and fruit. The service is friendly even in stressful situations. Outdoor seating in summer, on-street parking within walking distance.

First time visiting Erding and this lovely restaurant. Had a veal schnitzel and spaetzle with cheese, and of course a nice Erdinger weissbier. Everything was amazing! Very very good food, the staff were kind, smiling and pleasant, and the atmosphere was really chill and nice. Highly recommended!

Ich war mit meiner Frau unter der Woche zu einem Abendessen zu Gast. Das Essen war hervorragend und dem Preis ohne Wenn und Aber angemessen. Besonders hervorzuheben war die schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder zu Gast kommen.

On a rainy evening, this place was the perfect choice. Haxen was a special and Knödel was on the menu in several forms. A nice red wine from Austria rounded things out and apricot dumplings for dessert.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant, you can see the name as a graphic aspect everywhere, be it the detail with the post trumpet on the seats or the post rider on the napkin. It's very nice to see these subtleties. The service was very attentive and nice, you were asked every now and then if everything was okay and the food was brought with a comfortable waiting time. The presentation of the food was on top the best I've seen. Very tasty and very pleasing to the eye. I had the post goulash and the sessional strawberry brüllee. The meat was very tender and the sauce was nice and strong, you could also easily change the side dish of bacon dumplings to suit your taste. The Brüllee had a super gentle taste and was also very, very beautifully designed. All in all, I can highly recommend this restaurant and would like to come back. Big thanks for so much quality

Cozy, classic Bavarian hospitality. The white sausage salad was excellent, the service was warm and friendly and the best thing was that they sent me something home afterwards that I left behind. That's why full points and I'll be happy to come back.
