Unique in the region. Always happy to return!

We've never experienced anything like this before. Absolutely outrageous – unmotivated, snappy staff, and child-friendliness is unheard of here. The four of us wanted to celebrate a birthday with our two-year-old daughter and eat at Kreuzeder, as this restaurant had been recommended to us. Our question about a high chair was met with a snappy "No such thing." The menus were thrown onto the table without comment, and when our daughter, who now had to sit on my lap, moved her feet, we were told to take off her shoes. We didn't feel comfortable at all and decided to leave. We also received the comment that other children would manage to sit at the table without a high chair. There's no sense of a heartfelt restaurant here, so we'd rather go somewhere that still values ​​hospitality and customer service. There are many good restaurants in Erding, and luckily, the Bavarian food there is at least as good. Addendum: We can't judge whether your prices are too high, as we didn't even look at the menu. We don't know who or what the "Schachtlwirt" is, but they'll certainly have highchairs! 😉 It's obvious that you don't even really look at your guests, if you don't even know who you're criticizing. But it's good to know that at least donkeys are welcome here – if not toddlers...

Always delicious. Serve simply top and always friendly. Only recommended.

Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen wollten wir heute anlässlich eines Geburtstags im Kreuzeder essen. Was wir erlebt haben war unterirdisch und mehr als unverschämt. Als wir mit unserer zweijährigen Tochter eintraten wurden wir gleich schief angeschaut und an einen nicht eingedeckten Tisch in der letzten Ecke verfrachtet. Die Frage nach einem Hochstuhl wurde von der bereits sehr genervt wirkenden Bedienung bissig mit „Gibt’s nicht“ verneint. Die Speisekarte wurde lieblos auf den Tisch geworfen und als unsere Tochter, die nun bei mir auf dem Schoß sitzen musste es wagte, die Füße zu bewegen, wurden wir dazu aufgefordert, ihr die Schuhe auszuziehen wenn diese in die Nähe des Tisches kämen. Nach so viel Freundlichkeit beschlossen wir, unverrichteter Dinge zu gehen, es gibt noch viele andere Restaurants in Erding, die sicher mehr Ahnung von Gastfreundschaft und Kundenservice haben. Als wir hinausliefen wurde uns noch frech hinterhergerufen, dass alle anderen Kinder es auch schaffen würden, ohne Hochstuhl am Tisch sitzen zu bleiben. Ja, und andere Gasthäuser haben eben auch Hochstühle und ein Personal, das gerne für sein Geld arbeitet. Noch nie haben wir so etwas erlebt und können jeder Familie mit Kindern nur raten, einen ganz großen Bogen um diese Lokalität zu machen.

So far I have always had very tasty meals there. The portions are quite generous. Unfortunately, there were company holidays during my current visit. 😭 The landlord deserves it. Otherwise: Amoi Kreizeder, always Kreizeder.

What a great restaurant with fantastic home cooked authentic German foods. Laid over at Munich Airport and this place was recommended by the desk clerk at the Moxy Hotel. Took an Uber over for e19, waited in a short line for seating. A wonderful German woman greeted me and with some hesitation, but a kind heart for a traveler, agreed to serve me dispite my only having US dollars and no cards are accepted here. I was seat with a nice German couple and took the suggested menu from the owner of the nightly special The meal included a salad ( yes a scoop of German potato was there) lettuce , pickled vegetables and a light dressing. The entree was a braised beef with a thick delicious brown gravy and homemade spatzels. I sampled the crispy strudel with potatoes and a side of sweet lingonberry jam. All that and a huge lager to wash it down. What a treat this place was, totally authentic and local and worth the e32 that was paid. ( in dollars ) This place is a gem and shouldn’t be missed while in Munich

Absolutely the first house on the site. An excellent meal, the ox could not be surpassed in terms of tenderness. My wife raves about the liver dumpling soup, and so do I!! You won't find a soup like this again anywhere in Germany! The service was perfect, fast and friendly. We would love to come back!!

A wonderful Bavarian inn with absolutely delicious food! Everything is fresh, homemade, regional and incredibly tasty - here you can tell that they cook with love. The portions are generous and leave nothing to be desired. The warm service is particularly noteworthy: the staff is very friendly, attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. If it's busy, you may have to wait a bit for a table - but it's definitely worth it. The quality of the food more than makes up for any waiting time. Clear recommendation and definitely worth a visit!

Five of us were there for lunch today, we didn't wait long for a place in a cozy corner, the waitresses were extremely friendly and the food was of top quality, tasted great and the chef was great! Perfect price performance! We'd love to come back!

Es war wie immer köstlich bei euch Abend zu essen. Es ist für uns ein fixer Bestandteil hierher zukommen. Das Essen ist von hervorragender Qualität. Das Service einfach der Knaller. So nett und immer einen flotten Spruch auf Lager. Ich nehme immer ein Stückchen Heimat mit nach Österreich. Bleibt alle gesund und bis zum nächsten Jahr.

Then we go there and they just send us away. I've really never experienced anything like that. To answer: 1. I'm not male and 2. I didn't argue with anyone there. If you can't remember the customer, you should be careful with the insults. You're not making a good impression with this!! The culinary world is still in order here. Everyone is warm here, the portions are generous, everything is freshly prepared. Great class! The white sausages are a dream, the schnitzel and ox shreds, the dumplings are amazing. Every dish we have ordered so far has been prepared with a lot of love and skill. We have enjoyed coming here for many years, whether with friends, family, visitors - everyone is thrilled. Simply great!

Hello, we went to dinner with you yesterday based on a recommendation. We took the detour from Bauma to you, which we didn't regret. The veal shanks were super tasty and tender, something we don't know before, the veal schnitzel was just as good and the salad was simply fresh and delicious. The liver dumpling soup is awesome, huge dumpling that almost counts as a main course, delicious. The price-performance ratio is appropriate for the food and quite reasonable. Our waitresses were very friendly and nice, always up for a joke like we were, that's what makes hospitality. We will definitely come by again (perhaps with women) and look forward to a new culinary delicacy from you. LG. The four from daham.

Incredibly nice inn. At the entrance you will be asked nicely for your proof and then taken to your seat. The girls were super nice and always tried to do everything right for the guest. The food and its quality are in a different league. The roast ox with cream sauce was a poem, the Kaiserschmarren as dessert still makes my teeth drip, as delicious as it was. I practically rolled out of the restaurant, as full as the plates were! It won't be the last time, that's for sure - as comfortable as you make us feel! While looking for a traditional Bavarian inn, we happened to end up in Kreuzeder this evening. Now we are lying in our beds full, satisfied and happy with our stomachs full to the brim and will surely have good dreams about the great food and the charming waitresses. You can tell there is heart and soul in Kreuzeder! The freshest ingredients, everything homemade and nothing canned. This is how good food should be! Plus the warmest service, wit and charm. We felt very comfortable!

This evening we had dinner (with Nathanael :)) in the inn. We tried everything on the menu and EVERYTHING was delicious (tender meat, sauces and side dishes were consistently delicious) a treat for the palate! The portions are huge! The staff super friendly. We are very happy and satisfied and will definitely recommend the restaurant and come back!

Went there spontaneously for the first time yesterday (certainly not the last time!!!) We were simply thrilled: typical Bavarian ambience, very friendly staff (despite the full pub - always a smile for the guests), the food: unbeatably delicious!!! Without making a reservation in advance, you got a seat straight away after a short wait, were served straight away, and were always asked if you wanted anything else/if everything was okay - price & performance: TOP!!! Definitely a must if you are in Erding. Super friendly staff, don't turn anyone away easily, even when it's full. If necessary, bring some waiting time or make a reservation. Very tasty food. Gladly again.

The food was very tasty, even if it took us a while to read and understand the menu. It's a bit unusual to be seated at a table with strangers, but it's not a bad thing because it gives you more space and really makes full use of the space. Towards the end we sat next to a couple with children who eat there regularly and had known the chef for a long time. The local meat was super tender. We were only there by luck. I think it's great that you can't make a reservation, so you also have the chance to get a spot spontaneously. The oxen dishes were delicious and the perfect size too. If you can't manage that much, you should bring a can from home (tip from our table neighbors). The Kaiserschmarrn is worth 8 stars, it was that good. Simply heavenly. But I think the best thing is that it's not a fake smile from the ladies and you are treated the way you behave, which is probably why the bad reviews. People go in there with respect and friendliness and you will be treated that way.

The four of us just spontaneously went for a drink. The waitresses were very nice and the landlord also welcomed us in a friendly manner. A really grim economy. Next time we will eat there too!

Nice place with traditional Bavarian food 🟦⬜. The waiter sat us together with nice stringers and it seems like it the we its work over there. We got the menu (no English menu and the nice people that sit with us said they are German and doesn't understand anything from it. We took 2 shnizal ( a huge dish that is fixed for 2 people) . If you are taking one dish for two people you have to pay extra 5 e.. The dishes arrived with salad and a side to choose from. The waiters are very nice , the prices are highly expensive. 35 per dish .

Attention dog haters! Since we have a longer journey from Ingolstadt, we tried to make a reservation by phone the day before, which the answering machine explicitly ruled out. So we just drove there hoping to get a place. We had our small, well-behaved dog with us, who has so far lain well under the table in every restaurant, hasn't made a sound, and has never been turned away in any restaurant in Germany in the last 9 years. However, in this so-called traditional Bavarian inn they are so bold as to do that. Without any discussion. Anyone who maintains such unusual "traditions" would do well to announce this in big, bold and red letters on the homepage of their website. But there is nothing like that there. They only advertise how much they care about the well-being of their guests and maintaining tradition. “Every visit to the Kreuzeder Wirt should be something special.” Actually, he was. Just not in a positive way, but rather through the unprovoked reprimand of a Bavarian dachshund from a Bavarian inn. THAT IS A SHAME!

Perfect food, perfect staff, perfect Bavarian!!

We also ended up at Kreuzeder for the first time and wanted to eat a good Bavarian meal before driving home. From the first minute I felt very welcome and at home, rustic ambience - just as it should be, great guests who welcome you in a friendly and nice way, just great! The food was excellent, not because the portions were decent, but because you can taste the effort and passion, made with love in every bite, for that a big compliment and a big thank you to the entire Kreuzeder💓

Nowadays people are kept “small” and everything has to be “politically and gender correct”. But what I wanted to write: I have visited your inn several times now, and in the last few weeks I have traveled over 80 km twice to eat. Everything is just right here. Service, quality and authenticity. In many restaurants these days you only get generous portions because that seems to be part of high quality? Best Bavarian pub I have visited so far. My partner and I regularly drive over an hour to eat here. And this despite the fact that there are 1000 alternatives in Munich and the surrounding area. However, nothing comes close to “the Kreuzeder”. Prices are more expensive compared to other inns, but in return you get unbeatable quality, dishes prepared with passion, a unique atmosphere and super friendly service, even though everyone is always hard at work. Super nice addition: I don't know of any place where integration is practiced like it is here! The host couple seems to be totally committed, the team is international and yet (or rather: precisely because of that) you rarely feel as at home anywhere in Bavaria as you do here. Sometimes you're lucky and there's a little special international dish like baklava and co. Clear recommendation. I also always send all my friends and acquaintances here when I'm asked for restaurant recommendations.

We were here for the first time on December 7th, 2024. And we were thoroughly impressed. Really a quaint inn. Starting with the external appearance, really Bavarian and beautifully decorated for Advent. The entrance inside is great. The guest room was packed at 7 p.m., but we were still given a free seat, so we just kept it together, as is the case in Bavaria. The waitresses are consistently very friendly and funny. That's how it should be. Drinks were taken quickly and returned to the table, food was ordered (the menu is really very original!) and served quite quickly, the portions were really large and very tasty. What I saw at the neighboring tables and our large table was also really great. Later, the boss came to each table again and chatted a bit to see if everything was ok. A quaint guy who you should definitely follow on Instagram, what he posts is really funny and informative. All in all a successful evening. We will 100% come back. But you should definitely call them and listen to the announcement, unique, really. That's exactly how it was. Unfortunately, there are far too few restaurants like this in Bavaria. In any case, thank you for keeping the catering industry running and doing your best. I am a self-trained chef and really take my hat off to anyone who still does gastronomy with love and passion.
