Really delicious food, super fast service, and simply super friendly and welcoming. Once a Kreuzeder, always a Kreuzeder.

Unlike Siegfried Boeddecker, I think there's not much show here and a lot of taste. I was there on the evening of June 5th with an English friend and was impressed by this fantastic Bavarian inn cuisine. Everything was homemade and traditionally prepared and very, very tasty, mmmmhmm at Kreizeder ;-) We'd love to come back despite the journey from Leipheim and that's what makes a very good inn, I mean, when it's worth a detour ;-) (I think the Michelin Guide sees it that way too). With that in mind, thank you very much for the great food and the very friendly, warm and funny service. Don't believe the haters. Success breeds envy. Best wishes from Leipheim

This was my second time here, and I made it a point to eat here if we ever come back to Erding! The staff is extremely friendly and fun, and you immediately feel welcome. The food was simply amazing! Please come with a big appetite, as the portions are quite generous... I highly recommend the Ochs (Ox), a true culinary delight!

Lots of show, but little taste. He just can't do it. But he's a big mouth on social media.

Beer was cold and okay. The staff was a bit unfriendly and rude to our kids. However we did get the tap water for free. Everyone's sauce was too salty. As they say in German maybe the chef is in love. Tried to pay with card and was told that wasn't possible. The landlady then pointed to a very tiny almost unreadable red sign on the door and told me that I should have read that on the way in. Luckily my wife had some cash with her otherwise I wouldn't have had enough to pay. Edited Add to my original comment (as apparently the owner is allowed to reply to my comment, but I am unable to reply to theirs) So, I got a reply under my comment, that says my card did not work, unfortunately, you did not allow me to pay by card. So, this is untrue and I can not understand why you say that my card did not work. I can present two adult witness to this untruth and two minors. Could you please explain how "I showed off" (angeben) in your words? All I did was ask to pay by card. Above I just stated my opinion and the truth, however you seem to be personally attacking me. Nice hospitality, maybe a reflection that some of my comments hit a little bit too close to home and in addition you called me an idiot (Deppn)? What was idiotic about my request to pay by card? Next point: What was un-guest like in our or my behaviour? and as for your "Besatzer" comment I can only wonder ...... I would like to say that I did not even include all of my negative comments in my original post, but as you shoud know negatively produces negatively. I did leave some positively in my original post. So here we go. A full review. Firstly, maybe I should have included this in my original post. You need to clean better. My son cut his finger on a glass shard that was in your rug/runner that you have along the bench under the windows facing the street. He was sitting on it and tried to adjust his body position and the shard cut into his pointer finger. My wife found another two pieces of glass closely located between where both my ten year old and my five year old were sitting. Luckily no one else was injuried or maybe there were more and nobody came into contact with them. She put them in a tissue and we did not say anything as we did not want to make a fuss. Secondly, I order fried potatoes (Bratkartoffel) instead of egg noodles (spätzle) ended up with 8 pieces of potato ( 4 very small new baby potatos cut in half) luckily my wife did not finish all of her egg noodles so I could leave your establishment full. Once again, I/we politely did not complain or say anything. Maybe I should have. Your meal was good, except for the sauce being too salty. Nice cut of meat. Salad portion was okay. Nice mixture of ingredients. If this is the owners response below, your attention to service was great, until I asked to pay by card. My main comment about the service being rude was not really directed at you, but at the lady who took our drink and food order. However, from your response below I can see that maybe you have some issues with negative feedback. I apologise that I was not 100% satisfied with my meal. I still gave you two stars. There is room for improvement. Looking forward to seeing to next time and seeing if things have improved! I hope in the future when someone leaves a negative comment or suggests an improvement that they are not personally attacked as well and/or called an idiot. Keep smiling and all the best for your future!

We went there for the first time at the beginning of the year based on the reviews. I have to say we were disappointed. First of all, the lady at the entrance was swiping on our phones for the certificates. You normally use an app for that, not playing on other people's phones. The menu didn't include a single salad plate. I ordered the meatballs and my husband had the onion roast beef. The portion was generous, and so was the price. The onion roast beef, in particular, was not value for money at all! For 30 euros, we got a piece of prime rib, half of which remained on the plate because you couldn't eat it. In other restaurants, you can get this dish with a sirloin for 16-18 euros. The meatballs were too much, and the sauce was very salty. Maybe they should make the portions smaller and lower the prices. We definitely won't go there again! The impression was created that the losses from the C-era were now being recouped with force. This review is from a visit during the coronavirus pandemic in 2021. Unfortunately, Google didn't publish it earlier. The owner's response demonstrates how the company handles criticism. Everyone should think about it for themselves.

To round off our vacation, we went there for dinner today. We were very impressed by the service and, of course, the food; that's exactly what you'd expect from a Bavarian inn. Thank you so much; you can feel the love and dedication that goes into it. We can't confirm the other comments about the unfriendliness towards children; our son was also taken into account, and the food was adjusted to his size. We definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back. All the best until then.

We were at Wirtshaus Kreuzeder two days ago and are still raving about the outstanding food! It was simply fantastic! The quality was superb and the taste was truly amazing. The portions are very generous, and the prices are really reasonable! The waitress was very busy, but still super friendly and attentive! It's truly worth it, and we highly recommend a visit to this restaurant!

I'm really very disappointed. I call and they tell me that reservations aren't possible and that I should just come, in the worst case scenario I'll have to wait a bit. Then we go there and they just send us away. I've really never experienced anything like that. To answer: 1. I'm not male and 2. I didn't argue with anyone there. If you can't remember the customer, you should be careful with the insults. You're not making a good impression with this!! Well, it's good that it didn't work out for you, I think your behavior is really low-level!!! If you want to be insulted, you've come to the right place!!

Great Bavarian restaurant and friendly staff. Very generous portions. All quality from local farmers, very tender and excellent meat. Good local beer. Very good desserts… we were really lucky to end up in these parts… combining surfing and food was really perfect…

We love going to Kreuzeder. The waitresses are top-notch, as is the food. The table is always top-notch, and you can always taste it. That's why we enjoy coming here every week. Please keep it up and don't let it get you down.

Our stay was very short. We were forbidden to play cards, so we left the restaurant. It was a shame.

What can I say... It was only 11:00 a.m. yesterday, while the other guests were having a Weißwurst breakfast, I had the honor of having the first meal of the day and treated myself to something delicious 😋🙏 The Ochs was fantastic as always!!! ❤️ An absolute favorite Bavarian restaurant. At Kreizeder, no one goes home hungry, and the chef personally comes to your table to make sure everything's okay and everyone's taken care of. It's simply a quaint inn, the food is outstanding, and the portions are extraordinarily large, so even the most cravings will be satisfied. The service is quaint and friendly, and the chef cooks himself. We'll definitely be back!

It was lovely! A great spot in the sun, with friendly staff. Super tasty food in generous portions for the truly hungry. We spontaneously went to eat at the Gasthaus Kreuzeder. We were a bit confused because there were so many nice people outside. At first we thought they were taking a smoke break, but we were wrong. They were all waiting for a free table. After about 15 minutes of waiting, it was our turn. We ordered drinks and food. We had Maibock (a kind of ham) with bread dumplings and salad. Our daughter and I had veal schnitzel with roasted potatoes and salad. We politely asked for a second plate, saying "please and thank you." Our schnitzel was already arranged on two plates in the kitchen; it was an incredible portion and incredibly delicious. Kudos to the kitchen for the delicious food, as well as to the service staff, you are amazing. Many thanks, Glas family.

We've never experienced anything like this before. Absolutely outrageous – unmotivated, snappy staff, and child-friendliness is unheard of here. The four of us wanted to celebrate a birthday with our two-year-old daughter and eat at Kreuzeder, as this restaurant had been recommended to us. Our question about a high chair was met with a snappy "No such thing." The menus were thrown onto the table without comment, and when our daughter, who now had to sit on my lap, moved her feet, we were told to take off her shoes. We didn't feel comfortable at all and decided to leave. We also received the comment that other children would manage to sit at the table without a high chair. There's no sense of a heartfelt restaurant here, so we'd rather go somewhere that still values ​​hospitality and customer service. There are many good restaurants in Erding, and luckily, the Bavarian food there is at least as good. Addendum: We can't judge whether your prices are too high, as we didn't even look at the menu. We don't know who or what the "Schachtlwirt" is, but they'll certainly have highchairs! 😉 It's obvious that you don't even really look at your guests, if you don't even know who you're criticizing. But it's good to know that at least donkeys are welcome here – if not toddlers...

Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen wollten wir heute anlässlich eines Geburtstags im Kreuzeder essen. Was wir erlebt haben war unterirdisch und mehr als unverschämt. Als wir mit unserer zweijährigen Tochter eintraten wurden wir gleich schief angeschaut und an einen nicht eingedeckten Tisch in der letzten Ecke verfrachtet. Die Frage nach einem Hochstuhl wurde von der bereits sehr genervt wirkenden Bedienung bissig mit „Gibt’s nicht“ verneint. Die Speisekarte wurde lieblos auf den Tisch geworfen und als unsere Tochter, die nun bei mir auf dem Schoß sitzen musste es wagte, die Füße zu bewegen, wurden wir dazu aufgefordert, ihr die Schuhe auszuziehen wenn diese in die Nähe des Tisches kämen. Nach so viel Freundlichkeit beschlossen wir, unverrichteter Dinge zu gehen, es gibt noch viele andere Restaurants in Erding, die sicher mehr Ahnung von Gastfreundschaft und Kundenservice haben. Als wir hinausliefen wurde uns noch frech hinterhergerufen, dass alle anderen Kinder es auch schaffen würden, ohne Hochstuhl am Tisch sitzen zu bleiben. Ja, und andere Gasthäuser haben eben auch Hochstühle und ein Personal, das gerne für sein Geld arbeitet. Noch nie haben wir so etwas erlebt und können jeder Familie mit Kindern nur raten, einen ganz großen Bogen um diese Lokalität zu machen.

What a great restaurant with fantastic home cooked authentic German foods. Laid over at Munich Airport and this place was recommended by the desk clerk at the Moxy Hotel. Took an Uber over for e19, waited in a short line for seating. A wonderful German woman greeted me and with some hesitation, but a kind heart for a traveler, agreed to serve me dispite my only having US dollars and no cards are accepted here. I was seat with a nice German couple and took the suggested menu from the owner of the nightly special The meal included a salad ( yes a scoop of German potato was there) lettuce , pickled vegetables and a light dressing. The entree was a braised beef with a thick delicious brown gravy and homemade spatzels. I sampled the crispy strudel with potatoes and a side of sweet lingonberry jam. All that and a huge lager to wash it down. What a treat this place was, totally authentic and local and worth the e32 that was paid. ( in dollars ) This place is a gem and shouldn’t be missed while in Munich

Absolutely the first house on the site. An excellent meal, the ox could not be surpassed in terms of tenderness. My wife raves about the liver dumpling soup, and so do I!! You won't find a soup like this again anywhere in Germany! The service was perfect, fast and friendly. We would love to come back!!

The portions are generous and leave nothing to be desired. The warm service is particularly noteworthy: the staff is very friendly, attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. If it's busy, you may have to wait a bit for a table - but it's definitely worth it. The quality of the food more than makes up for any waiting time. Clear recommendation and definitely worth a visit!

Five of us were there for lunch today, we didn't wait long for a place in a cozy corner, the waitresses were extremely friendly and the food was of top quality, tasted great and the chef was great! Perfect price performance! We'd love to come back!

The culinary world is still in order here. Everyone is warm here, the portions are generous, everything is freshly prepared. Great class! The white sausages are a dream, the schnitzel and ox shreds, the dumplings are amazing. Every dish we have ordered so far has been prepared with a lot of love and skill. We have enjoyed coming here for many years, whether with friends, family, visitors - everyone is thrilled. Simply great!

Hello, we went to dinner with you yesterday based on a recommendation. We took the detour from Bauma to you, which we didn't regret. The veal shanks were super tasty and tender, something we don't know before, the veal schnitzel was just as good and the salad was simply fresh and delicious. The liver dumpling soup is awesome, huge dumpling that almost counts as a main course, delicious. The price-performance ratio is appropriate for the food and quite reasonable. Our waitresses were very friendly and nice, always up for a joke like we were, that's what makes hospitality. We will definitely come by again (perhaps with women) and look forward to a new culinary delicacy from you. LG. The four from daham.

Incredibly nice inn. At the entrance you will be asked nicely for your proof and then taken to your seat. The girls were super nice and always tried to do everything right for the guest. The food and its quality are in a different league. The roast ox with cream sauce was a poem, the Kaiserschmarren as dessert still makes my teeth drip, as delicious as it was. I practically rolled out of the restaurant, as full as the plates were! It won't be the last time, that's for sure - as comfortable as you make us feel! Food and service are simply top! Here you are well looked after and the meat is better than in any high-end steakhouse.

While looking for a traditional Bavarian inn, we happened to end up in Kreuzeder this evening. Now we are lying in our beds full, satisfied and happy with our stomachs full to the brim and will surely have good dreams about the great food and the charming waitresses. You can tell there is heart and soul in Kreuzeder! The freshest ingredients, everything homemade and nothing canned. This is how good food should be! Plus the warmest service, wit and charm. We felt very comfortable!

This evening we had dinner (with Nathanael :)) in the inn. We tried everything on the menu and EVERYTHING was delicious (tender meat, sauces and side dishes were consistently delicious) a treat for the palate! The portions are huge! The staff super friendly. We are very happy and satisfied and will definitely recommend the restaurant and come back!

We were simply thrilled: typical Bavarian ambience, very friendly staff (despite the full pub - always a smile for the guests), the food: unbeatably delicious!!! Without making a reservation in advance, you got a seat straight away after a short wait, were served straight away, and were always asked if you wanted anything else/if everything was okay - price & performance: TOP!!!
