A WIRTshausl that really deserves its name. The innkeeper and chef himself appears to greet his guests and then work his magic in the kitchen, while you are warmly looked after by his loving wife in the beer garden. And then the food mmmhmmmm, a bearish liver dumpling soup with the dumplings where you say almechd, it's huge but also so delicious that there's nothing left to be desired. Then the main course - ox and a schnitzel from straw pig mmhmm, all the finest. Not only do you say, yes, the meat is great at Kreuzeder, but the side dishes and vegetables are also superbly prepared and very tasty. The long journey was worth it, thank you very much and see you next time

I'm really very disappointed. I call and they tell me that reservations aren't possible and that I should just come, in the worst case scenario I'll have to wait a bit. Then we go there and they just send us away. I've really never experienced anything like that. To answer: 1. I'm not male and 2. I didn't argue with anyone there. If you can't remember the customer, you should be careful with the insults. You're not making a good impression with this!! “Zu Kreuzeder” is a must on every visit to Erding or the surrounding area (at least for us). Finally, we took a detour of over an hour to eat here. Conditions were always very friendly despite the full house. Large portions and the food is a dream. We always enjoy coming back. My recommendation is the “Ochsenbratl”.

Unfortunately, politeness has no place in this restaurant! We were nearby and my friend really wanted to try this restaurant because he knew it from Instagram. We had a guest who didn't speak German and only spoke English. She was greeted in German but she didn't understand it and was immediately told why she hadn't said hello in response to Grüßgott! Yes she apologized and said that she didn't understand and everything was fine until a woman came and told whole story of restaurant and we were oh nice until the end to hear her words which yes we expect to hear at least hello! Like in school the teacher wants to complain! I asked if they have an English menu and the answer is "no, we are Bavarian" instead of normal answers like simply no sorry we don't have it! When the food comes to the table, there is no response to thank you and they don't even look at the guest, the food is simply thrown on the table. The portion size is good and fills everyone up, but the taste is just okay! Beer is not half a liter. Less is served, that's simply no go! I ask if I can pack my food and I get 2 pieces of aluminum foil and a dirty plastic container! They sit people next to you without asking if it's ok! Never again!!!

Were there on Thursday with five men at 5 p.m. sharp for the opening and were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner. Above all, the boss, but also the other ladies in service, are incredibly nice, courteous, know exactly how to talk to the guests and sometimes just stop by the table to give some nice advice. Very big praise also to the boss, who really knows his craft. The dishes are simply amazing, you can taste the love and know-how, if you look at the portions then you really get something for your money. We'll be back soon!!

Nach 4 Stunden Anreise aus Wien sind wir nach der Ankunft in Erding auf der Suche nach einem Lokal fürs Abendessen auf das Restaurant Kreuzeder gestoßen. Wenn man schon mal in Bayern ist, muss man auch in ein bayrisches Wirtshaus gehen! Kurz zusammengefasst: die Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Charmante und humorvolle Bedienung, gute Auswahl an bodenstäbdiger Hausmannskost auf der Karte, uriges Ambiente. Dass das Wirtshaus voll besetzt war, spricht auch für sich. Die Preise erschienen auf den ersten Blick höher als gewohnt, wobei sich das dann bei der Portionsgröße relativierte. Die Teller waren prall gefüllt! Zum Abschluss noch ein großes Kompliment an die Küche: selbst bei uns in Wien findet man kaum wo einen so guten Kaiserschmarren! Eine große Portion reichte für uns fünf nach den riesigen Hauptspeise-Portionen gut aus. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in der Gegend werden wir ganz sicher wieder vorbeischauen!

The food tasted good and was well prepared. Unfortunately, payment is only possible in cash and we don't know that pretzels that come out of the kitchen as a greeting have to be paid for. Although you didn't order them and they were still hard and a bit dry. Most of the employees were very friendly, but there is also one employee who throws beer mats onto the table and is too refined to serve the food directly to you, preferring to pass it over the entire table. Unfortunately, the customers in front of us at our table were quickly evicted after paying so that we could take their place. That was very uncomfortable for us.

Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker! Genauso haben wir uns ein bayrisches Wirtshaus vorgestellt. Wir waren dort mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern (1+3 Jahre). Es war etwas unpraktisch für uns, dass es keine Hochstühle oder Wickelmöglichkeit gab, aber wir würden trotzdem jederzeit wiederkommen.

People kept asking if everything was OK. I don't often write a review for a restaurant, but here I don't miss the opportunity to give high praise and a recommendation. Were with you for the first time today and we have to say a poem that we eat. Starting with the liver dumpling soup and the ox, everything was very tasty. The side dishes also only recommend the potato dumplings larger than my own hand. You can tell that everything here is still made in-house. The ox butter is tender and you can save the knife for eating here; it's easier with a fork. What you just have to praise is the service, which is friendly, attentive and always has a nice saying on your lips. Keep it up, we'll be back.

Smaller Bavarian restaurant with a typical Bavarian direct manner. Not everyone can handle it, but very entertaining if you don't take everything seriously ;) We were in a large group for dinner and it's important to get there early because everything gets full quickly and reservations are not possible. People are simply parked somewhere and only cash payment is possible! The price is a little higher, but you get something for your money and it tastes very good! We will be back.

Yesterday I was having dinner in the beer garden with my brother-in-law and da Schwesda. Mia had a very good meal and the service was perfect. Then (apparently the landlady) it was awesome. Mia made us incredibly happy and rarely smiled so much. It's just a good idea to go for a break. If it's right, I'll do it again.

If you want good Bavarian home cooking, you should definitely eat there. We were on holiday in Erding for a few days and this restaurant caught our eye. One evening we decided to go out for dinner there. We had a table outside. The atmosphere was very cozy there. The menu was in Bavarian. Not everything was understandable to us from northern Hesse, but the waitress immediately offered to help us. We had a roast ox with spaetzle and a Wienerschnitzel with bread dumplings, both dishes with a salad. Everything was super tasty and a real treat for the palate. I can only recommend the beer there. In short, I would eat there again any time I'm in the area. The visit and the money are worth it. The waitress there is also very friendly. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Just great! From the side salad, to our main courses (fish with potato salad and schnitzel with sauces and spaetzle) to the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, the food was simply terrific and the portions were very generous, so that we, as very good eaters, just about managed it. In addition, a very nice, good-humored and brisk service and a short, nice conversation with the chef to say goodbye. We had a lovely evening and will definitely come back when we are in the area. It was the second time I was at Kreuzeder and I was absolutely thrilled twice over. Service is very friendly and accommodating, waiting times are almost zero and the food is fantastic, I don't think Bavarian cuisine could be any better. There is also a lot of attention to detail, classically but very lovingly prepared (braised ox with crunch on top, never had it before, just great). Prices are absolutely reasonable for quality and quantity. The ambience inside is also very nice, only the beer garden, which is also great, suffers from the main road right next to it, but the inn can't do anything about it.

It was really cozy with excellent food and extremely friendly service. I'll be back!!

We were here for the first time today. A really traditional inn where all the products obviously come from the region. The food was very high quality and freshly prepared with love, and INCREDIBLY delicious! Despite the quality and the very decent portion, an extremely fair price. We've been there several times and the food is delicious and really Bavarian! Unfortunately we were disappointed last Saturday when we got there at 8:30pm and were only served one dish as they were supposed to close at 9pm. As always, no one answered the phone to ask about the closing time! When we wanted to take the rest of the food with us, we were given a sheet of aluminum foil and had to wrap the meat with the side dish and sauce in it. We thought it was a bit cheeky on a Saturday evening!! Really disappointing…

Highly recommended, we have been following Wirtshaus Kreuzeder on Instagram for a long time. This year's Metallica concert in Munich and the visit to the Eberhofer crime film city. Gave us the opportunity to stop off at Kreuzeder. Our high expectations were fully met. If you love traditional cuisine, you can get something your heart desires and something delicious there. Ich war hier mit meinen Mann und meinen Bruder an Fronleichnam zum Essen(Leider ein Trauriger Anlass ) aber was soll ich sagen ,das Essen war nicht nur gut sondern Sau guad.Man schmeckt richtig das des alles noch hausgemacht ist. Hatten zweimal den Ochsen Butterzart mit Spätzle und ich hatte die Leberknödelsuppe und danach die Apfelkücherl.Des Essen hat mir a so richtig Kraft gegeben. Also wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder .Danke für des guade Essen.

It's a shame, we haven't seen before how rude people treat their guests here. As a Bavarian and conservative economist, I would like to warn against this innkeeper, he is extremely untypical for Bavaria.

We went to Erding with the family and wanted to have a quick, good Bavarian meal. The food came very quickly and the roast ox with dumplings was fantastic. Plus a light beer from the tap. I couldn't get a second one because of the large portion. But it was all very tasty. We'd love to come back.

Last week we spontaneously visited with 8 people. The welcome was warm and authentic. As a Franconian you are used to large portions, but this pushed even us to our limits. 😆 But the food was very tasty... see you again on the next trip to the thermal baths.

One of our favorite restaurants in Munich. Off the beaten path but worth the stop. Friendly staff and very helpful to recommend dishes. The lamb meatballs was our favorite dish but you can’t go wrong with the pork schnitzel. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend but be sure to bring cash here.

So the ox with natural sauce and bread dumplings is outstanding! My wife is still eating the Swiss Wustsalat today, it was so great 😉! Service super friendly! With pleasure and soon again!!

We were there yesterday. It started with extremely friendly staff including the boss! Then: great, rustic atmosphere. Great card and an extra recommendation that wasn't on the card. Was there with my son. He ordered a Wiener Schnitzel (large children's portion) and a semolina dumpling soup. The waitress immediately said the soup was too big, so they divided it into two plates, so it was half Edmond for me too. Two giant soups arrived. We are soup fans, but we have never had a soup this good!! The original Wiener Schnitzel with fresh spaetzle and salad was great. I had a very, very good oxen cream ragout or something like that. With bread dumplings and salad. It was excellent and very, very filling. Dessert was actually no longer possible due to the quantity, but we waited a while and then ordered something else. Just because we were so curious. I fresh strawberries and my son fruit salad with vanilla ice cream Also very good. We have never been to such a warm, tasty and reasonably priced restaurant as Kreuzeder. We will definitely come back here if we come anywhere close. Hopefully the economy will be around for a very, very long time!

It's exactly the right pub for my husbands and me if we want something special and very Bavarian for Father's Day. Here you get huge portions, super tender ox meat and excellent bread dumplings. Unfortunately there was no non-alcoholic light beer for me. Special praise also goes to the service: we have never had food on the table so quickly in any restaurant! And thank you for the heartfelt prayer in the menu, I felt it!

It's just a normal pub, nothing special and I don't understand the layout. Obviously the internet presence in the Google reviews is more relevant than the food at Kreuzeder. Because it tastes very good, but it doesn't blow your mind and you can make it at home for less money. The ambience is also quite nice, but I've seen better. All in all, definitely above average, especially in terms of price, but nothing earth-shattering. The average Burger King customer will definitely feel like they are in another world here. However, I didn't, the topic of bridal tourism has apparently become normal in Germany in recent years, it's nice that it has also arrived in the Bavarian hinterland. It was pretty good, but I don't have to come again now. But it's nice when so many people consider this a culinary miracle. Somehow it speaks volumes.

Went to “Kreuzeder” for lunch today. We have always diligently followed the Instagram videos and have been planning to go there for a while now! When we got there we were greeted by the smiling, cheerful and warm boss. We were allowed to choose our seat freely, so we decided on the house bank :). We got our drinks very quickly and the food was also found quickly. A regular guest joined us at the table and a nice, traditional Bavarian feeling spread through me and my wife! Then the boss “da Kreuzeder” came along and we had a nice and humorous chat. The food was soooo delicious and plentiful! Back in the car and on the way back to Regensburg, my wife and I realized that, thank God, there are still Bavarian restaurants like this and you feel like you used to! It started with a liver dumpling soup, and I have to say, that was the best soup I've had in a long time. A huge dumpling and a nice soup plate and not a full coffee cup, like almost everywhere else. Afterwards there was a really tender ox with spaetzle. It was really a lot, but I couldn't stop eating. It was really very good. Bringing a tuppa bowl is recommended!
