If you want Bavarian food, please give it a wide berth. That has nothing to do with it anymore. It tastes underground and the staff was also very unfriendly and uncaring. The prices for the food are extraterrestrially high. Juice shop, never again!

Service outrageous, no thanks or goodbye after paying. Food underground, price-performance ratio catastrophic. Ambience resembles a canteen. Never again

If you go alone as an Asian girl, you will feel the most uncomfortable feeling in your life. The rice is not tasty either. Half of the beer was foamy. Especially the middle-aged female waiter is the worst and unpleasant restaurant. I will never go there again.

Last weekend I went here to have lunch with some friends. It was a sunny day and we asked for a table in the sun, after 10min and realising it was too hot we changed to the table next to us without really asking. When the waiter came back he started screaming at us that we could not change tables without authorisation. The whole restaurant looking at us and him just screaming and screaming. Completely rude and out of place. Never ever coming back. I just know that if we were German the treatment would be totally different.

The food was good, but the waiter was very rude to us. We changed tables without asking because the one we were seated at was too warm, and he had mentioned that it might be a problem in the beginning, anyway we stayed there. Later, we decided it would be fine to move to a nearby table in the shade. When the waiter saw that we had moved, he became very upset and started yelling at us. We asked if the new table was reserved, and he said it wasn’t, but claimed it was already set in the system…In most countries, this wouldn’t be an issue – you can simply switch tables. The waiter had no reason to shout at customers over something so minor. Everyone was staring, and it was very embarrassing. He gave a quick “apology,” but when we tried to explain why his behavior was unacceptable, he left the table in the middle of the explanation. Very poor service. Disappointing. We won’t be coming back.

The most unbelievable experience! We were a table of 21; made reservations months in advance as it was the day before the start of Oktoberfest. No other tables in the restaurant (there’s a sign- not busy on a weekend- let alone the day before the busiest time of year) the server had the audacity to tell us to be quiet! She clearly hated being there that evening and should have just called off! She didn’t listen or care to what we wanted; as she messed up two of our guests orders. Getting a second round of drinks was impossible. She even told us not to order a starter as the meals were large in size! When she found out we were on one check she flirted (touchy and hugged) the guy who was paying…… definitely much better places to go to than here!

A good Bavarian restaurant. An older one. Vegans will have a problem finding here food, the pretzel are good. If you enjoy beer, you will love the place. If you know no German you may have a problem ordering here.

Heidi is the best waiter who ensures a really good atmosphere. The food is great and try the local apple cake.

A quaint cosy historic local brauhaus. The food is good, typical Bavarian cuisine with outdoor seating. Very warm and helpful people here, definitely the best service I have encountered in Germany

We came here after popping our head into the larger beer house around the corner but found it overwhelming with the instruments and larger groups of people. This one was a lot more relaxed and welcoming. We were seated at a large table, and between us, we ordered a dark beer, cellar beer, fish with pretzel coating, and pork knuckle. The beer was tasty and strong. However, comparing some of the past pork knuckles I've had in Germany, this was a lot smaller for the same money (however, I hardly made a dent in previous ones！) this came with a potato dumpling and saurkraut . The fish dish did look like a birds eye special in all honesty and still find it strange to have hot food with a small mountain of cold potato salad. Overall the setting was nice and service welcoming just I've had much better food in Germany for the price.

Typical brewery with corresponding dishes. My meal, salad with ox shreds and chili, was very good. Unfortunately it is very loud and crowded in the guest room, which makes conversation almost impossible. But that's just how Brauhaus is, you have to like it!

One of the many Munich breweries that is characterized by a cozy atmosphere, very good food and attentive, friendly service. Only recommended!

Warm welcome. Excellent value for money. The cuisine is delicious and typical Bavarian. The portions are generous. We loved the experience!

A very cozy place, we ate deliciously)) The portions are large, I would even say that the dessert was too much, even gigantic... but it was so tasty, the plums are especially delicious! We sat on the terrace and saw people queuing up to get a seat. Therefore, I advise you to make a reservation if there is such an opportunity.

We ended up here in a typically Bavarian restaurant. We were immediately greeted warmly at the door and brought to the table. My husband drank a cellar beer and got white sausages with pretzels... I drank apple juice with the Kaiserschmarrn with apple sauce... a Kaiserschmarrn like I enjoyed so brilliantly divinely hadn't eaten yet. I hope we come by there again on our photo tour through Munich... I'm still dreaming about this Kaiserschmarrn...

A good local address with very generous plates. The veal schnitzel is excellent, plus a good Munich beer!

Classic Bavarian tavern with authentic flair. Good roast pork and cold beer Barrel - as it should be. The central location is great for something good to eat after shopping in the city center.

A lovely pub away from the crowded spaces around. The food as well as the beer are great. The waiters were all very polite and friendly, I went for a late lunch on a rainy day, and felt very welcomed there. Definitely recommended to have some typical Bavarian meals or simply a few beers ;)

Restaurant somewhat hidden in a side street. Quaint atmosphere and decoration. The service was very nice and the food was delicious. I ate the Munich Domschnitzel, my girlfriend half a pork knuckle. In both cases the meat was exactly as expected: nice and tender. During peak times it is better to reserve a table. A small point of criticism: It was quite loud, and at times you could hardly or not understand the person you were talking to. However, I have to say that we were there on a Friday evening around 8:30 p.m. This was the busiest time.

This is a good place for a classic German (Bavarian) meal. The wait staff were helpful and there are English menus available. There were a few vegetarian options if you are travelling with a vegetarian. I had the pork knuckle and it was very good - it had good flavour, the crackling was crispy and the potato dumpling was a great texture. The portion sizes were quite big - you won’t go home hungry!

Simply wonderful. A quiet alternative to the Hofbräuhaus that is in no way inferior in culinary terms to its famous neighbor. There are also wonderful service staff who make ideal recommendations. #Special beer (mixture of old and cellar beer) I like it ❤️ Next time I'm in Munich, I'll definitely come back!

Great location in the center of the city. The dishes were probably the best we had in Munich. Delicious food and a great atmosphere with a German flavor. Special thanks to the waiter Roko for the friendly and fast service. I highly recommend this place to visit.

This is a hidden gem! Restaurant is hidden from the busy city center passersby’s. We decided to sit outside. Service was fast and simple! Had the beef broth with soup which was larger than expected for 1 and shared the dürnbräu-pan. When in München this is a must!

Most disgusting service I have had in my life. I asked for information about the menu and the waiter replied that "what is written on the menu is that" in a rude and rude way. When the dish arrives they don't even bring the cruet since I had ordered salad and it wasn't even what I had ordered. When paying the bill we are obliged to leave a tip with the choice of 5%, 10% and 20% if you pay with the POS. You really can't choose even if the service was poor as they say where I come from or better said a non-existent service. Never again not recommended at all.

Nice atmosphere, everything tasted good, but the portion was too small. Went here in the evening and although I had a really big lunch and wasn't particularly hungry, the cheese spaetzle was far too little for just under €18. When the plate came, the entire table was amazed to see if it was an appetizer. Price/performance not recommended, at least for the cheese spaetzle.

We had breakfast here with a sausage, Pretzel and beer. Very good wheat beer.

Fantastic place to get local quisine. It is especially great if you are looking for a quick meal as we only had to wait 10-15 minutes for food after ordering. It is located off the main street so it was never really busy and there was no wait for a table.

Even though I only show our dinner here, the chocolate cake was amazing. Excellent customer service. Love the little alley way to get to the restaurant. We got there about 5:30 and we had our pick of tables. However within 30 minutes the place filled up. The beef was tender and both meals were delicious.

Delicious Käsespätzle, perfectly creamy, lots of crispy onions and a solid portion of vegetables with dressing on the plate next to it. For dessert we took Kaiserschmarrn. The portion is HUGE. I definitely recommend taking one portion for two people. Very good omelette, with a crispy sugar shell. Plus applesauce with apple pieces. Very good! The restaurant is a bit off the main street, so it's quiet and peaceful. I definitely recommend it, although the prices are a little high.

Very poor service I’d even say unacceptable in western Europe Food was rather good but the whole experience it was more like a punishment There was a problem with terminal when I was paying so waitress grabbed my card without asking, paid the bill (with my card ofc), and throw the terminal in front of me saying “PIN”. I don’t think that making customer feel humiliated is a good way to advertise any restaurant. I will not recommend it to anyone and I won’t be back.

Food very tasty. Large dishes. On the other hand, the service to a foreigner is unacceptable. With friends, we would like to pay by card and separately, which turned out to be a huge problem and a comment by the waitress in front of us: Can you imagine what is going on here? They pay separately and still by card. This is unacceptable.

Fantastic Appel strudel, average Aperol drink. Server Tanja, rude and unprofessional when only ordering dessert.

Bad service , food ok but not great , good location

I had it on my favorites list and I won't return and it's not because of the food, which was delicious, but because of the atmosphere. The waitresses were very very rude, when I arrived they spoke badly to me, I saw them arguing among themselves, I asked them for a beer and they ignored me. The only one who was polite was a male waiter, who was very nice and spoke in Spanish but the girl waitresses were very very bad. I also saw how a waitress treated another customer badly. What a shame not to be able to return to these places when the service is bad.

Schweinehaxe tastes and looks like it was cooked yesterday, it was too dry. Beer amount was less than 0.5 litre.

Nice setting but waitresses were grumpy and rushed, not a very pleasant service at all. Food was pretty poor, spinach dumplings were just stodgy with limited side dish and the pork medallions had far too floury sauce and super tough meat. Not great at all

German food par excellence, freshly prepared homemade. Very attentive and professional, although we booked online more than 1 week ago, it seems that they have not saved a table on the terrace. They have offered us a table inside the premises, which in the middle of August, does not have air conditioning. The outside terrace is very nice and full, with 4 tables inside and suffering from the heat. The prices are good. They serve in Spanish, letters in German and English.

You stand at the entrance for 10 minutes and there are a few free tables. Two leisurely gentlemen from the service more or less do their job, look at the waiting guests and ignore them, no sign, nothing. Meanwhile, a hard-working female service worker is just racing. I gave up after letting it stand for 10 minutes.

During my visit to this brasserie in Munich, I was absolutely won over by the quality of the meals. The dishes were delicious, undoubtedly the best I have tasted since arriving in town. Baked sweetbreads, a delicacy that is rarely available anymore, is sometimes on offer at Dürnbräu. More tender than any schnitzel. A recommendation for lovers of crown cuisine. The Kaiserschmarren is a poem, the apple compote looks like it was freshly prepared.

The Kaiserschmarren were so delicious. I can only warmly recommend it! Above all, the lady who looked after us was so friendly and warm.

Very large portions, beautiful surroundings and nice staff :) Our waitress Roko was very friendly and attentive, he happily fulfilled all of our wishes and was very personable. Everything you expect from a restaurant and service was fulfilled here in the restaurant.

Just off the main thoroughfare, and a cosy corner for a great meal with very delicious Bavarian fare (pork schnitzel, roast pork and cabbage salad). Great draft beers on tap and keeps me coming back each time I’m in Munich.

The Kaiserschmarrn was definitely an absolute highlight; the portion can be shared with several people. The service was excellent. The restaurant is very centrally located, but the terrace at the back is very quiet and was great for relaxing. Gladly again!

Nice Biergarten in the center of Munich. Big, cold beers, attentive and nice service and a true Biergarten atmosphere. The food was as expected in a Biergarten, but big healthy portions.
