Schöner Keller, leckeres Bier, Wurstsalat reichlich und gut

Ich war mit meiner Schulklasse von über 70 Personen in diesem Stüberl, wo wir sehr nett empfangen wurden, und die Kellner waren sehr talentiert indem was sie tuen, und der eine war glaube ich auch gelernter Kellner, da mir der sehr gut in Erinnerung geblieben ist. Das war am 29. Juni 2026, wo eine sehr starke Gewitterzelle über München war, unser Busfahrer hatte durch einen Verkehrsunfall einen Stau vor ihm, wir waren plitsche platsche nass und 70 Leute komplett durchnässt, ist halt schon eine gute Menge Wasser. Der glaube ich gelernte Kellner hat und sofort aufgenommen, und hat sich keinen Muchs beschwert. Er war sehr entspannt und man ist gleich viel entspannter gewesen. Also ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen, und falls ich nochmal in München seien sollte, werde ich auf jedem Fall nochmal herkommen.

Essen hat geschmeckt - waren hier mit der Klasse und kann es nur empfehlen. Standort auch Top. Müsst ihr wissen.

Extrem Gutes essen, sehr nettes personal. Ich entschuldige mich das mein Freund trotz seines Reichtums kein Trinkgeld gab.

Waren nach dem Biermuseum dort. Haben das Biertasting gemacht. War gut besucht das spricht für sich.

Das Essen war gut (nicht besonders), die Bedienung jedoch alles andere als freundlich. Wir wurden mehrfach ignoriert. Auf meine Nachfrage, statt einem Kartoffelsalat Bratkartoffeln zu bekommen (die zu einigen Gerichten ohnehin serviert wurden), kam forsch die Antwort „kleine Karte, keine Änderungen“. Ausserdem haben wir zum Schnitzel um Preiselbeeren gebeten, die wurden dann gebracht, als wir fast fertig waren. Sehr schade, denn das Ambiente ist sehr nett!

Das Essen war ok. Leider bekamen wir nicht alle gleichzeitig das Essen (3Personen) + lange Wartezeiten. (Beilagen nicht änderbar) Personal sehr Jung und Nett, leider nicht eingelernt. Ambiente dunkel aber ansprechend.

Die neue Chefin ist furchtbar! Handelsbedarf! !! Vor den Gästen seine angestellten anschreien ist ein NoGo! Hatte hier davor eine 5 Sterne Bewertung….

Ein faszinierendes Museum zum Oktoberfest. Auch eine Verkostung von Augustiner-Bier gab es. Wir haben dort zwar nicht gegessen, aber die Gerichte sahen köstlich aus.

Kleines Bier- und Oktoberfestmuseum mit einem kleinen Pub. Es war ein interessantes Erlebnis.

Ich war auf Empfehlung mit der Familie da. Ein super schönes Restaurant wo man sich wie in eine andere Zeit versetzt fühlt. Das Ambiente durch die alten Mauern und den alten Balken ist richtig schön. Es gibt zwar nur einf kleine Auswahl von Essen aber dafür stimmt die Qualität einfach und man mehrkt das das hier auf hochwertiges essen gelegt wird. Das Personal super freundlich und zudem immer gefühlt gut drauf.

Essen wurde vergessen. Kam dann 45 Minuten später war aber das komplett falsche. Organisation lässt zu wünschen übrig

Nach einem Museumsbesuch hier eingekehrt. Ein richtig tolles Ambiente mit den alten Gemäuern und quasi mehrere Stüberl und Galerie zum Essen und Trinken. Wir hatten eine nette und freundliche Bedienung. Speis und Trank waren lecker und kamen flott. Das Publikum schien gut gemischt zwischen Touris und Einheimischen. Eine schöne Atmosphäre und wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Das Stüberl ist unabhängig von den Museums-Öffnungszeiten.

Das Restaurant mit seinen alten Balken und der gedämpften Beleuchtung versetzt einen in eine andere Zeit...

Eigentlich ein toller Besuch ABER die Gläser werden alle mit der Gläseröffnung nach oben in die Kühlschubladen eingeräumt werden, sodass das Personal jedes einzelne Glas mehrfach am oberen Rand, den man auch am Mund hat, anfässt. Die Minijobber waren alle sehr nett und aufmerksam, aber es wäre schön, wenn das Personal die grundlegenden Regeln erklärt bekommt. Der Wurstsalat war auf jeden Fall sehr lecker!

Atmosphäre ist einzigartig! Noch ein Geheimtipp in München aber jeder von da muss auch mal da gewesen sein! Und der Restaurantleiter Joel macht jeden Besuch zu einem Erlebnis und man erfährt durch ihn zusätzlich etwas über die Geschichte des Gebäudes und des Bieres

Irgendwie ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Total gemütlich. Sollte man mal vorbeigeschaut haben.

Solide traditionelle Küche. Super schneller, aufmerksamer, routinierter Service. Sehr kinderfreundlich, vielen Dank für unseren netten Aufenthalt!

Gemütlich mit angemessenen Preisen. Schweinebraten ist empfehlenswert

Bin extra vom Hauptbahnhof bis hier her gelaufen, um essen zu können. Mir wurde dann mitgeteilt, dass es heute keine Küche gibt an einem Samstag 20:00 Uhr. Stand nicht auf der Webseite, hatte auf der Webseite auch reserviert und hierzu keine Antwort bekommen. Das Personal war sichtllich überfordert. Schade

Positiv: freundliche Bedienung, Kartenzahlung ist möglich, der größere Gastraum wirkte sehr gemütlich Negativ: Der (kleinere) Gastraum in dem wir saßen war sehr kühl. Heißgetränken wurden (außer Kaffee) nichts angeboten, was gerade im Winter schade ist. Der bestellte Nachtisch des Tages war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Besuchs dann leider bereits aus. Eine Änderung der Beilagen war laut Servicekraft leider auch nicht möglich. Das Essen war optisch in Ordnung, geschmacklich jedoch für unseren Geschmack fade und sehr einfach. Die Tischdeko auf unserem Tisch war nicht sauber. Leider keine positive Erfahrung für uns.

Das Ambiente im Museumsstüberl ist wirklich sehr schön und gemütlich. Leider war die Bedienung bei unserem Besuch alles andere als einladend, wir haben uns nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Das alkoholfreie Bier ist sehr gut. Die Preise sind akzeptabel. Insgesamt ein gemischter Eindruck – mit freundlicherem Service wäre deutlich mehr Potenzial da.

Ich bin seit einiger Zeit Stammgast im Museumsstüberl. Es gibt für mich keinen gemütlicheren Ort, an dem man sich nach der Arbeit mit seinen Freunden trifft und willkommen fühlt. Abgesehen vom sehr guten Essen und Trinken zu fairen Preisen ist hier speziell das Personal hervorzuheben. Meistens haben wir das Vergnügen mit Sabrina und Joel. Beide sind super organisiert und Joel hat immer einen lockeren bayerischen Spruch parat und ist immer bestens gelaunt. Da fühlt man sich gleich noch wohler und bleibt sehr gerne länger! 😀

This is the second time I've been to this lovely restaurant. Everything is perfect: the food, the beer, the service, and the atmosphere.

Great restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. The dedicated, super-friendly staff deserves special mention; they genuinely care about each guest. A young, highly ambitious team. A true delight.

The food and service was not impressive. Maybe I ordered the wrong dish. I ordered the Bavarian sausage salad and a side green salad. Both were too heavy on the vinegar. I didn’t feel welcomed there. The waitstaff did not return to ask if I wanted anything else (another drink, dessert). I did overhear the waitstaff asking other patrons if they wanted to order additional items. This restaurant may be more geared towards large groups. The decor and setting was charming. Maybe stop in for a beer and to see the place, but my guess is that you can find a similar typical Bavarian place that has higher quality food and service. Skip this one and try one of the many other restaurants in the area.

I went to the Museumsstüberl for a beer last Friday, as we'd already spent a lovely evening there... Summary: The manager that evening, October 18, 2025, was a young guy who spent the whole time shouting loudly in the lobby as if he were the highest, which was annoying on one hand and very stressful on the other. After 10 minutes, I was finally noticed and allowed to order a beer, which arrived relatively quickly, but it was overflowing, dirty, and not even filled to the measuring line. I wiped the outside a bit, and it was touchable and drinkable. A short time later, when other guests wanted to pay, I joined them so as not to cause any extra hassle, and when I tried to pay for the beer with my phone, they said... only with card over €10. Due to the poor service, I didn't want to tip, so I paid with a €10 bill in cash... and got exactly €5. That struck me as odd, so I checked the price of the light beer on the menu again. It would have only been €4.40. So, the customer was simply ripped off. I then went to the "boss" and told him that the beer didn't cost €5, but only €4.40, and asked if they always determined and kept their own tips. I said I'd get another 60 cents and explained to him why and how bad the service was. I got some change, put it in my pocket, and was fine with it. When I came home that evening and took the change out of my pocket, I realized it was only 40 cents instead of 60 cents. Crazy, even then he ripped me off, the customer, again. If that's an employee, please reconsider the employment relationship. If that's the new owner, keep your hands off. It's a shame that such a nice place has become so run down.

Very kind staff, with a pleasant mood and with combination to the atmosphere every visitor has really enjoyed!!!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and felt very comfortable. The food was really good, and the clientele was diverse, from locals to tourists of various languages. The ambiance is very rustic, and you might even sit with other people at the large wooden table. Highly recommended.

The location is beautiful and quaint. Unfortunately, the service was very poor and the food unimpressive. Not recommended for vegetarians.

Very rustic and delicious beer. From 6 p.m. onwards, it's served from a wooden keg. When it's full, it gets quite loud and difficult to hold a conversation. But it's definitely worth a visit.

Very nice bar, you can go to the octoberfest museum (which is very good) and then try some beers. They have a variety of Augustiner beer. It's a very quiet place and cool inside, so if you are hot it is a great place to rest. The waitress Sabrina was very kind and she brought a nice atmosphere to the place. I visited this bar quite often during my stay in Munich. The kitchen closes around 7 or 8 pm Also they do some kind of events where they serve beer from wooden barrels which is cool

This place is located below the Beer & Oktoberfest Museum. You can head on straight into this place or come by right after you run down all the museum stairs. The place is sort of spacious as a there are different quarters, but the place had bench seating and you’re cramped with lots of other folks, to a point like sardines. There were loads of coat hangers and hooks along the walks and pillars for your convenience. It was sort of a pain to find a spot with a party of four, as it seemed like a lot of spots were reserved at the time. Service was pretty dang slow even though the place wasn’t quite yet filled. There were still quite a few empty tables that were reserved for later, but it was very hard to catch a server or even make eye contact. Once we finally flagged one down, we got a quick beer and went back on our way~ Perhaps it’ll be better next time around. It’s a promising place considering the atmosphere.

We had dinner in the Museumsstüberl today at 1 p.m. We sat on the upper floor. Food was okay. The problem is if the menu says that the Wiener Schnitzel comes with a potato salad, you can't cancel it. In addition, there were no lemons on the schnitzel at the neighboring table. This is then simply thrown away. The service was extremely unfriendly and not serviceable at all. The first visit last year was good. This year was catastrophic. From now on never again!

I have been an enthusiastic guest of this restaurant for many years. But what happened to us today, people, I can't understand it. Were basically thrown out of the restaurant. Only because there weren't enough guests left and the waiter wanted to call it a day. Only, the sound makes the music. I would be happy if those responsible react accordingly.

It was good, great atmosphere, beer on tap. Haxe OK, could be better, could be juicier and more tender. But good.

I like sitting here in the taproom. And mostly what I hear is pure dialect. From the regulars' table. Even in the pub, locals mix with tourists, and so do the dialects. Quaint. The museum parlor didn't exist when I was a child. The house is living history. Augustiner bought it and had it lovingly renovated. So I'm sitting here somewhere in the 16th century, drinking my Augustiner from the barrel. With primal sound in my ears. If there is, then this place just has good karma. I feel comfortable here, in the middle of tourist Munich. Pre-order for food! I haven't gotten to that yet. Unfortunately!

Very nice atmosphere. The schnitzel is exceptional and super tasty, at a fair price. The beer tasting was also really tasty. We will definitely come back and recommend the location.

The food was excellent. You first have to find your way around the inside - extremely winding, but in and of itself very rustic and charmingly furnished. The service was fine and friendly. I personally found value for money reasonable. The portion was good. It's not exactly my cup of tea, but I would come back at any time.

We were in the Stüberl yesterday and were unfortunately disappointed with the food. The ambience is great, the winding old building is simply charming and the service was also super nice. Unfortunately, the food there was just really not good. We waited a little longer, which is perfectly fine on a Saturday evening, but unfortunately the quality of the food just wasn't good. The Augustiner beer has made a lot of good again.

Friendly service and very moderate prices for good food for Munich

One of my favorite restaurants in Munich. Fair price/performance ratio, great service and really good - mostly Bavarian - cuisine. Plus an absolutely rustic atmosphere.

Historical building divided in 3 to 4 levels. Very noisy location if crowded. Beer is from Augustiner Brewery. Meals were obviously based on convenience food. Pleasant service.

A really special place, rustic and spread over several floors with a museum and an attached Augustinian restaurant. As a special feature, it is even possible to order your own small wooden barrel for your table and pour your own beer. The menu offers a good selection of Bavarian and Old Munich specialties of excellent quality. A really nice experience, ideally in combination with a visit to the museum and then off to the shop to put the knowledge you have learned into practice directly in the beer glass. Clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience something special off the beaten track in downtown Munich.

Great, historic rooms. Unfortunately a bit overheated and bad air. We were there for the Weißwurst breakfast. The sausages were good and served in a kettle. It's a shame that the white sausage mustard is served in individual plastic packaging. Especially with a group, the mustard belongs in a mug! The service was quick and attentive. A visit to the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum is recommended, as it is in the same building.

The vegetarian pumpkin schnitzel is highly recommended. A larger selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes would be desirable, as well as an award for those on the menu.

A beautiful thing. It's all about that Brewing beer. A must in Munich.

The ticket machine at the entrance is surprising, but is only for access to the beer museum. Go to the restaurant to the right (without a ticket), first past the bar and the regulars' table. In the back there is space for groups at long tables in a beer cellar atmosphere. Simple menu with local dishes. Good service, quick and unobtrusive.

A small restaurant with delicious Augustiner beer 🍺 luckily not so crowded and the museum on the upper floor is really very informative. You can learn a lot about the history of beer in Munich.

A nice Bavarian inn. The food is at the same price level as all other Bavarians. There are also inns, but the food is significantly better than in many other well-known tourist inns. Service was nice and quick (in the sense of being on the ball). Unfortunately the dessert was out

Very nice but hidden beer parlor. The cellar-like ambience invites you to socialize. The menu is manageable, hearty home cooking like at home. The prices are cheap by Munich standards. Gladly again.
