Wirtshaus Obacht Maxvorstadt in München

Qualität ist ok, aber halt nicht 50€ wert für ein Schnitzel und Käsespätzle. Die Panade fiel ab, der Kartoffelsalat könnte vom Rewe aus der Box sein. Der Käse auf den Käsespätzle war wahrscheinlich keine drei Euro wert. Der Service war gut, aber das hilft dann halt auch nicht mehr. Essen gehen in München macht echt kaum noch Freude…

Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen kam in angemessener Zeit (hat nicht zu lange gedauert, aber auch nciht zu schnell dass man angst hat das es schon fertig rumsteht). Essen war top nur die bratkartoffrln hatten ein wenig zu viel salz. (Deswegen auch 4 sterne). Obwohl ich außen saß und das anfangs alleine wurde sich vom personal sehr gut um alles gekümmert. Rundum immer wieder gerne.

Schlichtes Ambiente bei pfiffigem Essen. In diesem Haus ist klar, was im Mittelpunkt steht. Das Essen. Die Bayern. Bekannt für Schmankerl. Für Bier. Und für „Passt scho“, wenn eigentlich gar nichts passt. Nur, dass hier alles passt. Selten so guten Zwiebelrostbraten gehabt. Auch die Pommes knusprig durch eine spezielle Panade (frag mich nicht wie) und beim Wiener Schnitzel feiner Kalbsgeschmack. Dazu Augustiner = Schockverliebt! Nach diesem Besuch verbleibe ich als guter Isarpreis mit einem herzlichen: Mia san mia, auch wenn keiner gefragt hat. ✌️out

Hatte hier im Obacht einen tollen Abend und ein fantastisches Abendessen. Sehr einladende Atmosphäre und die Bedienungen sind sehr nett. Ich hatte das Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat, welches wirklich super gut war, die Portionsgröße ist perfekt, sodass danach noch eine Nachspeise Platz hat. Als Nachspeise hatte ich dann die Apfelküchle mit Vanilleeis, ein wirklich lohnenswerter Abschluss. Auch die anderen vier am Tisch schwärmten von ihrem Essen. Also, wer in München gut bayerisch essen gehen will, ist hier genau richtig.

Sehr gute Würste. Die Speisekarte ist flexibel, man kann die Beilage zur Wurst ändern. Ein nettes Lokal zum Essen und Biertrinken.

Das Ambiente ist schlicht, aber gemütlich. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell und das Essen war wirklich toll. Geschmacklich war es hervorragend und auch optisch wirklich schön angerichtet.

Flotter und aufmerksamer Service. Fairer Preis fürs Bier. Die Fleischpflanzerl sind für meinen Geschmack zu trocken. Da fehlt es irgendwie an fett oder einer passenden Soße.

Wir kommen immer gerne ins Obacht. Münchner Schmanckerln neu interpretiert, sehr feine Küche. Souverän gekocht, serviert und gegessen. Das komplette Team ist super auf Zack ! Macht weiter so

Sehr leckeres Essen in entspanntem Wirtshaus-Ambiente. Perfekte balance zwischen Tradition und Moderne. Der Service war nett aber vergesslich.

Das Obacht ist immer ein guter Ort für einen geselligen und köstlichen Abend. Das Team ist toll, das Bier ist fein, was will man mehr.

Ein echtes Wirtshaus in der Maxvorstadt. Die Einrichtung trifft genau die goldene Mitte zwischen klassisch und modern. Aber noch gemütlich, aber nicht angestaubt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service: Die Bedienungen sind wirklich immer überaus freundlich, aufmerksam und angenehm unaufgeregt. Das Essen ist durchweg gut, bodenständig und lecker, und die Portionen sind definitiv groß genug, um nicht hungrig nach Hause zu gehen.

Klasse Wirtshaus! Sehr freundliches Personal, Reservierung empfohlen (vor allem am Wochenende). Die Speisekarte hat für jeden etwas, auch die vegetarischen Speisen sind super lecker und endlich mal was anderes als nur Kasspatzn. Preise toll, geschmacklich auch.

Gmiadlich, angenehme, fast zu leise seichte Musik, Essen hervorragend, Karteln erlaubt. Gefällt mir sehr gut.

Wie Ihr an voller Sternebewertung seht, alles bestens. Wie immer im Obacht. Einige Gäste haben es mit der Lautstärke beim letzten Besuch übertrieben, jedoch ist es hauptsächlich das Problem der Gäste.

Super! Ein kleines Schnitzel reicht meiner Meinung nach für 95 % der Leute völlig aus, große Teller!

Tut mir leid, aber das war nichts. Ich war am 02.12.2025 mit Freunden hier essen, wir kannten das Restaurant nicht, wollten es aber ausprobieren. Ich habe das "Böckinger Feldgschrei" bestellt, es kam vollkommen geschmacklos daher. Die Konsistenz war in Ordnung, aber darüber hinaus hat wirklich jeder Geschmack gefehlt. Nicht einmal Salz oder Pfeffer war dran. Auf meine Nachfrage hin nahm die Kellnerin das Gericht wieder mit in die Küche, kam bald darauf zurück und meinte, es müsse genau so schmecken. Sie bot mir jedoch an, ein anderes Gericht aus der Karte zu wählen, was ich dankend annahm. Gleich darauf kam jedoch eine weitere Mitarbeiterin an unseren Tisch, mit dem Hinweis, dass dieses Gericht vom Personal für gut befunden wurde, also wäre es mein Problem, wenn es mir nicht zusagt. Ziemlich schroff stellte sie klar, dass ich den vollen Preis für das Gericht zu zahlen hätte, auch wenn ich den Teller quasi unberührt in die Küche zurück geschickt hatte. Und um von meiner Seite mal klarzustellen: Ich habe an keiner Stelle nach einer Kompensation verlangt, ich wollte einfach, dass mein Essen nach irgendetwas schmeckt. Also, liebes Obacht-Team: Natürlich ärgert es mich, 20€ für Wasser mit Stückchen gezahlt zu haben, obwohl ich kaum davon gegessen hatte. Mein Geldbeutel wird das aber verkraften. Wirklich erstaunlich jedoch finde ich euer Vorgehen, dem schlechten Essen auch noch schlechten Service und schlechten Stil nachzuliefern. Hätte euer Essen nur halb so viel Chuzpe wie euer Personal, wären wir alle glücklich nach Hause gegangen.

Wir waren in einem urigen Wirtshaus essen, was alle Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Die Speisekarte ist anders als die "üblichen" KArten und das macht es absolut aus. Hier wird der Gast bedient und man mekrt zu jeder Sekunde das das gesamte Team genau so möchte!!! Es war ein fantastisches Abendessen. Deutsche Küche vom Feinsten, und die Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten ist riesig. Wir wurden von Genesis bedient, die uns bei allem geholfen hat. Sie hat uns sogar in unserer Muttersprache bedient und uns die Speisekarte auf Spanisch gebracht. :) Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant!

Äußerst unfreundlicher und aggressiver Wirt („ICH BIN NICHT DER GESCHÄFTSFÜHRER ICH BIN DER CHEF?!), beschwert sich weil statt 12, 16 Personen anwesend sind mit der Begründung „Weils ned geht“…“Hock die Her Da Samma Mehra“ als Lokalmotto wohl eher verfehlt. Bedienungen ansonsten sehr freundlich, Essen auch gut❤️

Highly recommended! We went for dinner on Saturday evening, just the two of us, and were completely satisfied. We both had the Wiener Schnitzel, which was among the best we've ever eaten. The service was also incredibly friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

Not really a place that stands out when passing by. However, the friendliness of staff and great quality of food/drinks really makes it worthwhile coming back. Amazing experience! Even though we didn't have a reservation, with a bit of luck, we were able to spontaneously dine together on a rainy day. We were traveling through germeny. We went to 3 diffrent places where we took bratwurst, this place had the best one. Prices were quite good I recommend to take small portion if there is a choice, because its ok to one person.

I happened to be there because I was hungry but didn't have a reservation. It wasn't a problem, and I received very friendly service. Kudos to the kitchen, it was simply delicious 😋

You have to like a bit of hustle and bustle, then you'll be rewarded with delicious, superbly presented Bavarian-Swabian dishes (even for non-meat lovers) and cold drinks (including from my favorite local brewery, Augustiner). We'd be happy to come back!

Very tasty food, a bit pricey overall, but it seems like prices have increased everywhere. The waitresses are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The owner is also accommodating. The dishes, although typically Bavarian, are still special. It was very tasty.

Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the schnitzel. The potato salad that came with it was very, very tasty, though. Overall, though, it was a bit bland. The spaetzle, too, had nothing to do with spaetzle. It's a shame, because the atmosphere was very cozy and the setting was very, very nice.

I really enjoyed it. The food (asparagus) was excellent. I was surprised that they gave me Lagavulin whisky. I'll be back.

We had a pleasant meal here. It was close to the hotel and it was late, so we decided to take a chance. It turned out to be very tasty and we were impressed with the friendliness of the wait staff. I had the veal meatballs and they were delicious.

Service: The service was consistently friendly, attentive and accommodating. You felt welcome, which basically promised a good start to the evening. Eat: Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to this first impression. I ordered a Viennese veal schnitzel – a classic that suggests a certain level of quality. However, the meat was anything but tender. It was difficult to cut and the consistency was more reminiscent of rubber than of a juicy veal schnitzel. It also wasn't convincing in terms of taste. In addition, the portion was rather small in relation to the price, which made the whole thing disappointing. Overall impression: Despite the really friendly service, the overall visit was disappointing. The quality of the main course was inadequate and that shouldn't happen with a simple but high quality dish like a Wiener Schnitzel. I was hoping for a nice evening in Munich - unfortunately the food spoiled this impression. That's why I only give it 2 out of 5 stars and would avoid the restaurant in the future.

I like the modern feel for a pub. Service is nice, quick and funny. But I think the prices are excessive, it corresponds to the reputation of the Wienerschnitzel, but not to what you get. I especially found the potato salad really boring.

One of the best inns in Munich, we come regularly and particularly enjoy eating new things from the weekly menu, but the classics are always great too!

Good Bavarian district inn with a clear but sufficient menu, rustic furnishings, great/nice service, where families and card players still feel comfortable/accepted. We had dinner early on a Saturday evening and found happy families; yes, which is natural, it gets a little louder, but bearable. There is something for everyone on the menu. It's nice that there is such a bay. Restaurant still exists.

I would like to come back more often and again. 2018: Great atmosphere, great food at absolutely fair prices. Another great evening, as always the service was friendly and the food was very good, onion roast, celery schnitzel and desserts were top. The espresso is only for connoisseurs.

Unfortunately, not everyone is welcome here. Preaching tolerance and living tolerance are not the same thing In particular, prejudices are not the same as facts. Connections are not automatically right. Lumping all connections together is about the same as saying that all parties are the same. It just shows ignorance.
