Servus Heidi in München

With a reservation we went to "Servus Heidi" today to mark the end of my birthday. We took our designated seats in the cozy dining room. Because we were there shortly after 5 p.m., we didn't see any other guests. Our drink and food orders were soon taken. Some members of the team were kind enough to congratulate me. Very attentive! Our food, we both ordered the Munich Schnitzel, was brought out after a reasonable amount of time. For me it was a dream: very tender meat with tasty side dishes and more than enough. 🥰 Shortly after we left, part of the service team appeared again and brought me a surprise dessert... I can only say that I felt very comfortable and treated attentively by “Heidi”. Thank you very much to the whole team🙏❣️

We visited Munich over five years ago — and we were highly impressed with the food and experience. COVID was unkind to many, restaurants especially: seeing that Heidi’s pulled thru we had to make a reservation on this recent trip Fantastic service and food, we intend to be back sooner than 5 years! Make a reservation and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for being a part of why Munich is beloved by so many!

Fantastic dinner - so much that we came back for a second visit. Staff was lovely and engaging. Food unique and delicious. We tried the schnitzel on the first visit, and the pork belly on the second. Both delicious. Desserts awesome as well. Thank you!

Der Service ist zwar bemüht aber trotzdem nicht gut. Nach der Vorspeise die nicht besonders gut war mussten wir über eine Stunde auf unseren Hauptgang warten. Ich hatte das krasse Wammerl. Das Wammerl selbst war sehr gut, das Blaukraut war unerträglich süß und der Servietten Knödel so trocken die Sauce so geschmacklos dass ich gefühlt ein halbes Kilo Salz und Pfeffer brauchte. Die Portion war sehr klein. Für 21 € erwarte ich mir mehr. Meine Begleitung war mit ihrem Essen auch nicht besonders zufrieden. Was hier aus Terrasse bezeichnet wird, ist 2 m von der Hauptstraße entfernt und war daher sehr laut. Wir werden mit Sicherheit nicht mehr zum Essen hingehen.

Well-kept cuisine with fine nuances of taste, extremely friendly and attentive service, the Krasse Wammerl is a poem and the sorbet cup (vegan) is delicate and fresh on the tongue and palate. The espresso corresponds entirely to the high level of the delightful “Servus Heidi”.

Excellent onion beef (propably the best i have ever had) and the other courses too! Staff was friendly and the price/quality rate was good.

I lived and worked in Munich for about 3 years. Hello Heidi, I discovered it by chance because the restaurant was on my way from my place of work to the main train station. The offering is not as extensive as in a classic pub. Nevertheless, the menu offers a great selection of modern Bavarian cuisine. Everything tasted really TOP. The service was very friendly and competent. But what surprised/convinced me even more was how naturally special requests such as gluten-free preparation etc. were taken into account. For me this is perfect / modern gastronomy.

We came across Hello Heidi spontaneously and didn't regret it 😊 We were served very warmly and with a lot of charm 👍. The menu is very small, but nice. I think people go to Servus Heidi because they simply love the dishes listed there. We had the starter board, the fried chicken, the wammerl, the sorbet cup and the apple pancake. The starter board was excellent. Above all, I liked the great decoration. Each bowl was lovingly decorated. The bread that came with it was so fresh - simply delicious 👌. But my husband also really enjoyed the wammerl (except that perhaps it could have been one more piece 😉). The sorbet from the dessert was delicious, really refreshing. And the apple pancakes were also great. We can only warmly recommend everything 😊. We had a lovely evening and everything went well. We went home full and satisfied. The price was also right 👍 Ps: it might be a bit difficult with parking spaces. You can either take public transport or just try your luck on one of the side streets 😉

We were served a meat dish instead of the vegetarian version. The service did not respond well and we were disappointed.

The restaurant is a mix of rustic and modern. Basically, the inn has its traditional charm with a combination of more modern benches and chairs. The service was very attentive and friendly. Unlike many other restaurants, people actively ask whether drinks are still needed. There are places outside, but also inside. The food is good but the portions are rather small.

Food was okay. Service chaotic. Stupid comment after the wrong food was brought (meat instead of vegetarian).

If you ask for something they don't have, certain server's get offended and deny you service. Pretty silly for adults to act this way in Germany!

Tip - here you can get the Backhändl (fried chicken) reserved on real hay in the pan. Super friendly service even at 35 degrees in the shade and costume. Small menu with daily specials at fair prices. The dessert is amazing - a scoop of ice cream with espresso and hazelnut schnapps. Menu card is small and manageable. Augustiner Bräu as a beer, so Munich is perfect.

Close by to our hotel so very easy to find / lovely settings and great people watching - menu choices limited for gluten free options - however the risotto with beetroot foam made up for it - shame the service was very slow over an hour to wait for the main course when others had already eaten and left, and felt slightly disadvantaged as not being German and the waiting staff enjoying beers with their friends.

We arrived last Wednesday with a NeoTaste voucher. The waiter told us that the vouchers are only valid on Saturdays. That is not true. We were grudgingly served and gave me three stars on the NeoTaste app. Maybe because we tricked the waiter into giving up our legitimate service 🤷‍♂️ P.S. The dishes however were perfect

Very good address. The food is very fresh, the dishes are copious and original, the staff are attentive and the setting is very friendly. Dessert (an Apple pan cake in English), a real delight! Very good value for money.

Excellent welcome to Munich dinner for 4 travelers from the USA. We didn't have a reservation so we were happy to be seated immediately. The dumplings were delicious, the pike perch exceptional as was the pork belly and schnitzel. The waitress was attentive and apologetic with any slight delay due to how busy they were that evening. The beer selection was good too! The manager stopped by to chat and apologize for a slight delay and brought us complementary digestive shots. If you are in Munich I highly recommend a Servus Heidi's stop!

My visit to the Servus Heidi restaurant in Munich was an unforgettable experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. I chose the crispy pork knuckle with potato dumplings and sauerkraut, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, the crust was wonderfully crispy. The staff's recommendations were excellent and complemented the dishes perfectly. My dessert, a traditional Kaiserschmarrn with stewed plums, was the crowning glory of an all-round successful evening. The service at Servus Heidi was first class. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and always made sure that the guests didn't miss anything. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, ideal for a relaxing evening with family or friends. The Servus Heidi restaurant is a gem in Munich, offering authentic Bavarian cuisine in a modern setting. It's definitely worth a visit and I'm already looking forward to my next evening here.

Nice Bavarian restaurant. A bit loud and a bit dark in the room. Even though it's on a side street, it's easy to sit outside on the sidewalk when the weather is good. Service is quick and attentive. Food was excellent.

HORRIBLE service: We waited for over an hour for our main dishes and finally checked with the waitress, who informed us that they had forgotten our order. We had another appointment to get to and asked if we can still get our food soon (even for takeout). Instead of prioritizing our order due to their own mistake, the waitress told us we would need to wait at least another 20 minutes. In the end, we ran out of time - had to cancel our main dishes, paid for our drinks, and left the restaurant hungry after 2 hrs. Such a waste of time

If you want to eat here, better have a few hours to spend. Restaurant looks great, food looks great…unfortunately we didn’t get to try anything. After waiting for our food for over an hour, I asked our waitress what the status is. About 15mins later she came back and told us there was a hiccup and it’s delayed. I mentioned that we had to leave soon because of a work commitment and she said it would take about 15 more minutes. When I said that we can’t wait this long, she offered that we take it to go, which we agreed to. Another 10mins later she came back and said the food would take another 20mins. So, we ended up leaving after nearly 2 hours without any food.

Philipp Heidi gave us great advice… he was friendly from start to finish. “Krasses Wammerl” tasted extremely good. You don't need to rate Augustiner beer, it simply tastes great!!!!!!

Very good place. Amazing local food. The beef wasn't medium rare as I asked and could get more salt, but any other dish I had in this place is amazing. Will be coming back to this place. It can get busy on Fridays and weekends so reserve in advance.

This was, overall, a great restaurant! We were a group of 11, and before we even got there Philipp was a great help in setting up our reservation. Philipp, Lawrence, and Leonie were our servers (I hope I spelled their names correctly!) and they were absolutely exceptional; very attentive and making sure we had drinks etc, but also answered any and all questions we had about both the menu and Munich in general. The food was excellent. Our group had a mixed of steak tartare, pea soup, and bruschetta. Everything was great, though a little too much mustard on the bruschetta for our taste. For main course, we had the pork belly, fried chicken, schnitzel, and roast beef. Again, everything was excellent (particularly the pork belly), though three member of our group had the fried chicken, and everyone felt that it was undercooked (it looked a bit pink on the inside), so no-one finished it. However, we are aware that that the restaurant was busy and they were probably rushing to get things out. In any case, over all a great place to eat with amazing service. We would all highly recommend it. When we're back in Munich we'll be back!

It was nice here - but to be honest I expected more. The food is good - but not very good. When it comes to a salad, I expect more than lettuce leaves plus potato salad. The fried chicken was okay - but not outstanding. The service was also average. Lots of waitresses and a still empty restaurant - but they rarely came by (never) and asked for the right one.

Dined here on a Thursday night while staying at the nearby Roomers Hotel. When I asked the hotel staff about the restaurant they said that some people liked it a lot, but opinions were mixed. Because it had been a long day, I decided to give the place a try as it was only a five minute walk and I usually enjoy Bavarian food. While the service was very welcoming, prompt and friendly, I did not enjoy the food. The choices were limited, and the supposedly Bavarian dishes had some rather odd ingredients. I had some kind of appetizer with fried potatoes, pesto, cranberry and goat cheese. It was ok, but the various ingredients didn’t seem to blend well together or compliment each other. For the main course I had what was supposed to be chicken schnitzel. Unfortunately it was actually small pieces of dark meat that over-cooked, chewy and greasy with little searing or flavor. Really not tasty at all. The restaurant was very busy with many locals, so it must have a good reputation and a loyal clientele, but either the kitchen was having an off night, or I just don’t appreciate modern Bavarian cuisine. Again service was very friendly, but the food unfortunately left a lot to be desired. For the main course

Mit hohen Erwartungen sind wir ins Servus Heidi gekommen und waren essenstechnisch leider etwas enttäuscht. Wir haben uns das durchaus üppige Vorspeisenbrettl geteilt und leider war alles sehr überwürzt, so dass wir uns gegen eine Hauptspeise etc. entschieden haben. Auch z.B. die Forelle hatte für uns viel zu starke Raucharomen. Optisch war es top. Das Team war sehr freundlich.

We went to Servus Heidi as a team during the week. We were warmly welcomed by the service staff and felt comfortable. The starter platter was good, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the main courses. Most of us ordered the onion roast, which was unfortunately completely fried. The location itself is nice, but the music is a bit loud and takes some getting used to.

Fantastic Schnitzel and yummy Bier. Cosy little place compared to a Bierkeller. Friendly staff and food arrived quickly. Reservations help.

It was very full, which meant it was loud and the service was overloaded: slow, forgetful, and hard to get their attention. They forgot a number of items and the for was generally disappointing. The Obatzda was salty Camembert, the Münchner Schnitzel just tasted like a normal schnitzel (okay, but no noticeable mustard or horse radish). Prices were reasonable, but I wouldn't recommend.

We found this restaurant by chance. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our reserved table. The food and drinks cannot be found everywhere. However, everything was very tasty! I can only recommend the Weisbierspritz to everyone, I think it will be my new favorite drink. When we are back in Munich, we would love to come back!!

We were there for a smaller company party and tried out a lot of food (except for the desserts, there was no more room). Food was great including the starter board, a little deduction for the Wammerl (extremely salty), but otherwise everything was top including soups and vegetarian dishes. The waiter brought the wrong dishes and drinks a few times, but it wasn't all that crazy and the restaurant was very busy, so that can happen... Personally, I thought it was a bit too dark, but that's a matter of taste. Would definitely come again.

Very cozy restaurant with super friendly staff. The drinks (aperitifs) were great and the schnitzel in particular stood out. It was the best thing we've eaten so far! The wammerl was slightly dry and very salty, but the dish was still absolutely delicious. We would be happy to come back and definitely recommend it 🙂

Leider nur wenig Auswahl in der Speisekarte. Hier fehlt z.B. der Schweinebraten. Ansonsten ist es zu laut in der Gaststube. Unterhaltung nur schwer möglich.

This place is absolutely very good quality, you can taste Bavarian delicacies, the beer is delicious (augustiner) as fresh as ever. Service a little slow but it's not a problem we will wait.

I had the Munich Schnitzel, which could have been a little more Munich-like for my taste (the mustard/horseradish was very subtle) and the side dish could have been more generous, but the taste was really good. Unfortunately, Spezi wasn't ice cold and was probably the usual syrup, but unfortunately you can only get ice cold Pauli at home. Service was quick. Music maybe a little too upbeat, but whatever, the overall ambience is nice. Not exactly cheap (Munich?) but definitely recommended.

Extremely nice and courteous staff. We were there with a baby, were given a comfortable place straight away, were regularly asked whether everything fit and tasted good and we felt very comfortable.

The restaurant is nicely decorated but unfortunately extremely loud. A relaxed meal and conversation is therefore hardly possible. Our table was right in the middle of the room and behind me was a huge picture frame that protruded so far into the room that you had to sit on the wooden bench at the edge to avoid hitting your head. Unfortunately, you can't spend a comfortable evening like this. The tables are extremely close together and you are almost in contact with your neighbors. The quality of the food is very good. However, the waiting time is extremely long. Prices reasonable for the quality.

Conveniently situated at one of busy road of Munich, beautiful bavarian interior. Waiting was for 10-15 mins only. But totally worth it! Best part is - it was fully booked and waiting staff was so accommodating, kind, cheerful, and great team work. I liked the place so much Its a must go
