‘s Truderinger Wirtshaus in München

After a training seminar, we stopped by for a drink and a bite to eat in the beer garden. The food was delivered promptly and tasted great. The only downside was that pretzels were placed on the table, and only after we had taken two of them did a sign appear with a price tag of €1.20 per pretzel. It would have been better if this were attached to the outside of the basket. Very friendly service, who even offered us a small beer, which isn't usually available in the beer garden. Definitely recommended for good Bavarian cuisine.

I've been a regular here for years, and I have to say that the quality has declined considerably recently. The food was so disgusting that I spent the whole night sitting on the toilet with diarrhea. The service used to be much better. The ladies are completely overwhelmed because they can't handle all these people on their own. They're running and running and running, and the train is coming, so they've drastically increased the prices for everything. It's become very expensive here.

We were there for the first time today and wanted to sit outside. Johanna offered us a place straight away even though it was a bit chilly outside. She was so super friendly! We have rarely had such a great evening with such great support! We love Johanna and are now regular guests 🫶🏼

If you are in Munich, definitely an absolute must. Super delicious food and extremely cozy. As always, 700 km was definitely worth it.

I used to not like it at all in the Truderinger Wirtshaus. So I haven't been there for a long time. Now it's great. Super attentive, considerate and friendly service, food tastes good, is well prepared, came quickly, nothing looked like convenience. Prices reasonable, portions generous. Dog no problem at all - there was even water and treats. A little more harmonious decoration in the room would be good for the ambience. Nevertheless: clear recommendation!

I had a Schweinshaxe (crispy pork knuckle, Barbarian classic) for under 20 Euro. I still can't believe it. It came with a Knödel larger than a toddler's head. There's a song about places like this. 'This must be just like livin in paradise...' The servers were spirited, jovial and made us feel at home. Very much a Speiselokal. I can't recommend it enough if you like big plates, chatting with others at neighboring tables and a Bier Garten vibe.

Average cuisine, duck had been ordered, it had apparently been under the heat lamp for a long time and was appropriately dry. Staff very courteous and quick. The inn room was very loud

Ordered six different takeaway dishes for a birthday. Not only was the food ready incredibly quickly, it was also beautifully packaged in cardboard boxes and warm. All the food was of great quality and we all enjoyed it very, very much! The brawn was made fantastically, not everyone can do it well and it looked incredibly pretty. A radish sauce went well with it and the salad was dressed with a very good sauce, fresh and tasty! (Highlight!) All the other dishes, venison ragout, fish, the vegetarian dish (tomato lasagne) and the duck were also really great. If there was something that could be improved, it would be the fried potatoes. As is often the case in pubs, they were fried too greasy and didn't survive transport well (rubber). And reading the menu on the phone was also a bit confusing. But still: a thousand compliments for this great meal, we would happily do it again at any time and it gave us a lovely evening! Thanks!! Update: The food in the inn was also just great! The shop was completely full after the trade fair, but we were served quickly and friendly. The waiter had a sense of humor and made us laugh! Even though it was busy, the food was first class and came quickly! Big compliment! Update 2025: Still top class. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and there is non-alcoholic Augustiner! Certainly: a traditional Bavarian atmosphere and large portions

We had a lovely evening because the service and ambience were really good. The quality of the food, however, was completely different. I had a chicken schnitzel that was more like a breaded, wet sponge! A colleague, on the other hand, had an excellent pork knuckle. In my opinion, you can/should tend to prefer traditional dishes to experimental ones.

The food is fantastic, service is very fast and pleasant. I have only words of commendation. If you find yourself in Munchen you should visit this place, you won't regret it. 😁

I was recently at the Truderinger Wirtshaus and chose salmon with vegetables. Unfortunately, after a few hours I realized that this was a very bad choice. After eating, I quickly began experiencing symptoms of food poisoning: nausea, stomach pain, and vomiting. It was really disappointing because the atmosphere in the restaurant itself was pleasant and the service was friendly. However, the quality of the food was anything but satisfactory. It is very important that hygiene and the freshness of ingredients are taken into account in a restaurant and unfortunately in this case that was not the case. I hope the restaurant improves its standards so that other guests don't have to have similar experiences. I won't eat there again.

Super! Asked the waitress for a little more crust - bang, done!! I walked 2.5 kilometers from my accommodation and the same way back again, it was really worth it! Staff great, super friendly, thanks also for the short beer advice, portions really more than enough and delicious!

We had the pleasure of spending five days in this wonderful inn - and it was a real experience! The entire staff works with noticeable passion and love, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. Even when the house was full, we were always served in a friendly and attentive manner. The food is simply unbeatable – not just in terms of taste, but also in terms of portion size! The dishes are excellently prepared and generously sized. In fact, the portions were so large that I unfortunately didn't manage to enjoy dessert - there was simply no room for it. Overall, a completely successful stay. If you're looking for an inn with warm service, great food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

The Truderinger Wirtshaus is absolutely worth a visit! Mega price performance especially in the Munich area. Really good, tasty food, service attentive, very friendly and everything went smoothly even though everything was full. Dogs more than welcome (were there with 3 medium-sized dogs (2 p.) We got a table for 6 p. (after 8 p.m. without reservation) there were 2 bowls of water and 3 small plates, each with different treats. Everything was unasked for and is simply part of it here. That's more than a plus I would like to give it 6 stars ♥️.

Exactly as described in the southern German sample: timely, cozy, super attentive and nice service, large portions with a great price-performance ratio. The vegetarian dishes we ordered were also very well received. I'm already looking forward to the beer garden season

A typical German restaurant with old standards. Nice ambience. The food wasn't good. Schnitzel burnt, fried potatoes cold and very fatty.

The inn is simply great. The owners and waitresses are so nice and you can always get a seat. The food is rustic, large portions and simply delicious. If you like real Bavarian, you have to go there.

The Truderinger Wirtshaus combines traditional Bavarian cosiness with a modern touch. The atmosphere is really welcoming - the restored Art Nouveau building and the beautiful beer garden create a perfect place to have a good time with friends or family. The food was outstanding! The Bavarian classics are fresh and perfectly prepared, and the international selection on the menu was a great addition. We also particularly liked the selection of beer specialties - the Augustiner was a dream. The service was friendly, attentive and made us feel completely comfortable. Even when there was a lot of traffic, the employees remained calm and organized. Overall, a wonderful place that we can definitely recommend. Whether for a cozy dinner or a relaxing afternoon in the beer garden – the Truderinger Wirtshaus is always worth a visit!

The food was good. Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews. When the pretzels were put down, we assumed there was some kind of greeting from the kitchen. However, the way that these are then put up without being asked and billed for later leaves a bad image.

Really great inn with extremely good service and great cuisine! We had the upper room exclusively and can recommend it without reservation. There was a good snack board and excellent food at the buffet - I would particularly like to highlight the sirloin of beef! Thank you for the lovely evening.
