‘s Truderinger Wirtshaus in München

Exactly as described in the southern German sample: timely, cozy, super attentive and nice service, large portions with a great price-performance ratio. The vegetarian dishes we ordered were also very well received. I'm already looking forward to the beer garden season

If you are on vacation and want to feel real traditional german cuisine and atmosphere this is the best place to visit. Very affordable and beautiful place. Tasty food and good beer

The inn is simply great. The owners and waitresses are so nice and you can always get a seat. The food is rustic, large portions and simply delicious. If you like real Bavarian, you have to go there.

The Truderinger Wirtshaus combines traditional Bavarian cosiness with a modern touch. The atmosphere is really welcoming - the restored Art Nouveau building and the beautiful beer garden create a perfect place to have a good time with friends or family. The food was outstanding! The Bavarian classics are fresh and perfectly prepared, and the international selection on the menu was a great addition. We also particularly liked the selection of beer specialties - the Augustiner was a dream. The service was friendly, attentive and made us feel completely comfortable. Even when there was a lot of traffic, the employees remained calm and organized. Overall, a wonderful place that we can definitely recommend. Whether for a cozy dinner or a relaxing afternoon in the beer garden – the Truderinger Wirtshaus is always worth a visit!

The food was good. Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews. When the pretzels were put down, we assumed there was some kind of greeting from the kitchen. However, the way that these are then put up without being asked and billed for later leaves a bad image.

Really great inn with extremely good service and great cuisine! We had the upper room exclusively and can recommend it without reservation. There was a good snack board and excellent food at the buffet - I would particularly like to highlight the sirloin of beef! Thank you for the lovely evening.

Nice restaurant with very good food and very friendly staff

Inspired by an extremely positive article in the SZ, we took the long journey to the Munich diaspora, to Trudering! And how we felt after such an SZ article: We didn't think the Truderinger Wirtshaus was that great! We had a Knödelg'röstl with dumpling slices that were much too soft and a roast pork with a crusty slice that was so hard that you couldn't cut it with a knife or your teeth. The dumpling that came with it was extremely large, but not really tasty. What is very positive, however, is that you can also order the roast pork as a small portion. Unfortunately, not all economies still do it this way! The prices charged for the dishes are not exorbitant, but are reasonable for Munich standards! The Augustiner beer is of course excellent and extremely well-tempered. But it's a shame that the dark beer on offer isn't from Augustiner! The service was attentive, quick and very humorous. And the inn itself is tastefully decorated, although the high room gets very loud when it's full in the evening. This makes conversations difficult, but unfortunately that's not just the case in the Truderinger Wirtshaus... I would also like to mention positively that when you enter the inn you are greeted extremely friendly by the innkeeper at the bar. This immediately creates a pleasant feel-good effect. Finally I would like to say: If I lived nearby, I would probably go there more often to try the other dishes. But for a distance of almost 20 km you don't necessarily have to go there...

A traditional Bavarian restaurant with good food and a very good selection of beer!

All in all great! We were a large group and nothing was missing. Maybe a small improvement for next time would be more dishes with chicken.

Had duck and goulash, the portions were very large for the price. Unfortunately the duck was very dry and the goulash was a bit too salty. The service was very good and friendly :) The atmosphere was typical of a tavern, as was the volume.

Truderinger Wirtshaus has a cozy atmosphere and friendly service, but the food was a bit underwhelming. The portions were generous, but many of the dishes lacked seasoning, especially salt, which made the flavors fall flat. The service was attentive, though, and the ambiance was nice. I hope the kitchen can improve the seasoning because the potential is there!

The food was very good. Potato dumplings were delicious! Careful... they automatically bring you pretzels at the beginning of the meal, thinking they were complimentary and then charge you later. Waitress spoke very little English but she was very nice!

Very tasty food, nice beer garden and Bavarian ambience

Hearty pub with good beer and good food.

There were 6 of us and we only received 2 menus - without any comment. After the drinks were finally taken, nothing happened for a long time. A waitress who was not responsible for us took our food order. Which got her into trouble with our waiter. After more than an hour our food was only rewarded. Conclusion we paid for our drinks and left without eating.

Food was very good and plenty. What bothered us was that pretzels were put out without asking and we weren't told that we had to pay for them if they were eaten. But otherwise everything was great

Great, great Bavarian inn, which you can hardly find anymore. Typically rustic furnishings without unnecessary frills and overloaded decoration. The bar counter in the guest room. The service is very attentive, friendly and has a typical Bavarian Gosch'n. Typical Bavarian dishes such as Hax'n, Braten or an Anten but also food that you don't find often anymore. E.g. Milzwurscht, Bauerngröstl or beer bread soup. Everything tastes great and is of the best quality. Price-performance ratio is perfect, soup, main course and 2 drinks and espresso for just under €35. Dogs are also welcome. Will certainly come back

A quaint Bavarian restaurant, friendly service, good food, luckily we got 2 seats, everything was reserved. I can only recommend it, very good menu, something for everyone, all ages were present.

A very quaint and rustic, typically Munich inn, like you can still find in the suburbs. Lively crowd, a bit loud but in keeping with the local color. Very tasty cuisine: the schnitzel is huge and yet very tender. Lots of delicious, hearty specialties; Fish, meat and vegetarian.

The service staff are nice, but that's about it. The food may be homemade, but it doesn't taste good or tastes like nothing, but the prices are high. As soon as you come out everything smells like kitchen. If you can, you can avoid this shop...

The food was very tasty. The duck a little dry. The employees were very friendly and well trained. What is particularly worth highlighting is the large selection of beers, where craft beer was also offered in addition to the television beers. The price of the food and drinks was good. But for the performance, something above the average of our last restaurant visits in Munich.

We got a nice table in the beer garden. The portions aren't exactly small and are reasonably priced. Then there are, among other things: another Augustinian. What more do you want.
