I haven't had such a bad cinema experience in a long time. Not only was there really long hair in my popcorn, and I almost had it in my mouth in the middle of the film, but there was also a couple who talked very loudly the whole time. Nobody could watch the film. I keep asking myself why nothing is done about it? It almost escalated between the people. Cinema 5, October 10, 2025, at 9:30 p.m. for the film. Why isn't anyone sent there, or are the cameras in the cinemas fake?! The fact is, that was my last visit. Never again.

Unfortunately, the audience has become quite unpleasant these days. Some cinemas are very dirty; the last time I saw them, the cinema smelled like a toilet.

Somehow, the Cinecitta isn't quite as good as it used to be. In the men's restroom alone, 50% of the urinals were out of order. But the deluxe cinema is still a comfortable place to sit. 😊

A very cool cinema, huge, with plenty of seating. Always the latest movies and some of the best popcorn you can get. They often have some props there for taking pictures, which is usually quite fun.

I LOVE CINEMAS. The online ticket and snack pre-order process is super easy and quick. I'd love to go again. The only downside is the cleanliness of the restrooms. Always worth a visit.

One of the best cinemas I know. The only thing that's lacking is the cleaning and maintenance of the restrooms. Especially at the American Diner, please check under the sink; your facility manager has a lot of work to do there.

The seats were full of crumbs, the film couldn't start due to technical problems, the toilets were dirty, there wasn't a second of silence in the hall and my popcorn cup had ketchup stains in the bag when I got it. The most horrible cinema experience of my life. Would not recommend it under any circumstances!!!

Actually, it's a great cinema. However, I've called eight times and no one answers. I wait three minutes per call before getting disconnected. I heard from someone inside that the hygiene measures for the food, etc., are very desirable. We won't be eating there again.

A large, largely modern cinema. The staff is generally well-organized and friendly. There are several restaurants and bars. A parking garage is nearby. The experience at the Deluxe Cinema was very positive. You can buy tickets online and order snacks and drinks directly to your seat, or buy them on-site and have them brought to your seat. Furthermore, the seats are very comfortable and can be adjusted to a reclining position. All in all, a pleasant experience. Reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, before the movie started, you could see a mouse jumping around in front of the screen, which then hid somewhere under the seats. That just doesn't feel right. Also, the popcorn tasted stale, and the Coke was somehow too diluted.

I was in cinema 1 and the air was unfortunately not good, I had the feeling that the ventilation was not working properly. But otherwise it was ok, but it was not a crazy cinema experience.

The outdoor seating area at Cinecitta is divided between the restaurant and cafeteria areas of the cinema. This is a reminder, depending on whether you want a snack or a meal. We found the option of water with two ingredients, such as lime, mint, or fresh berries, served in a large carafe very tasty. The food is generally very good. Unfortunately, the recent spaghetti dishes were drenched in too much oil. The waitress was a bit clumsy when serving, and at first, we were completely ignored outside. We were told she had just caught a cold and therefore no longer serves outside in the cooler evening hours. At least an immediate notice or a sign would have been appropriate here, instead of ignoring you while you wait at the window for 10 minutes. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to leave. Especially when it's not busy, the service should still be attentive.

Great cinema with many highlights! The Magnum screen is particularly impressive, and the deluxe theaters offer a special experience. Sometimes staffing is a bit limited, so you have to walk further to find an open counter. Also, some theaters could use some modernization.

We went to Cinema 3 (The Conjuring) at Cinecittà yesterday. Before the film, we bought sweet popcorn and nachos from the upstairs cinema. This was the first time we've been so disappointed: The sweet popcorn wasn't fresh, wasn't crispy at all – it tasted like it was from the day before. The salsa was spoiled and smelled extremely unpleasant. We even had to exchange it. In the end, we only ate the nachos, which were fine as usual. Overall, it was very disappointing, and we expect much better quality snacks from a cinema like Cinecittà. Also, the loud music from the outside party could be heard throughout the entire film – very distracting! You couldn't tell if you were sitting in a horror movie or at a festival.

I love going to CINECITTA and I go there often. What bothers me every time, though, is that you can't get the slush in a regular cup, but only in these special plastic containers. I always have to discuss this with the staff. Could you please change this? Many people would probably be more interested in buying slush if it were offered in the usual cups—I certainly would.

A top-notch multiplex cinema. Here, you can while away the hours watching movies for days. Food and drink are also catered for.

You should state on your website that ID is required for a film rated 16. A person with a full beard and ID on their phone won't be allowed in. IDs have never been checked in the last 10 years, so it's better to state this before you have to issue 100 refunds.

What kind of behavior was that at your entrance? Hello Cineplex team, Honestly, I've never experienced a movie night like that. My two teenagers (16 and 17) and I had bought tickets online, grabbed snacks, and stood in line for almost an hour – and then this incident at the entrance: The "manager on duty" acted like he was a bouncer at a club and wouldn't let us in just because we didn't have our ID. It was clear that my children were old enough and that I was there as a mother. Instead of simply using common sense, we were treated condescendingly, as if we were some tricksters. This not only seemed disrespectful but, frankly, discriminatory. Yes, we got our money back, but our evening was ruined. This is simply embarrassing for a theater of your size. I expect you to speak to your colleague and ensure that this kind of "boss behavior" doesn't happen again.

We were there at the deluxe cinema. The €20 was well worth it. The cinema was very clean, the deluxe seats were very comfortable, and it was quiet. The film wasn't too loud.

The price/performance ratio isn't right. You can't reach anyone by phone, and no one calls back. You have to stand in a long line to get your information, and even there, I can't get the right answer. The information boards regarding the 3D glasses are inaccurate. I'm not surprised that the number of visitors is decreasing. It's better to stay home and stream the movie for less money and effort.

Great cinema. Beautiful auditoriums and excellent picture and sound. Easy to reach from anywhere, whether by car, S-Bahn and U-Bahn, buses, etc. Parking garage is available right next door. You can also get snacks and drinks for a family of five, but you can also go out for dinner.

Conclusion: For us, this is the best cinema experience in the region – comfort, quality, and atmosphere are a perfect fit.

I went to see a movie at the Deluxe Cinema over the weekend. The ticket cost around €20 without extras. The cinema was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were a few other issues: The women's restroom near the cinema was closed, so I used the men's restroom, which was empty (but not clean). When I went to another women's restroom after the film ended, the floor was flooded with sewage, and the stalls were also in a state that made them unusable. It seemed like a general problem. On top of that, the staff had massive problems correctly ordering food and drinks before the film started, bringing several people the wrong drinks, etc. I also found the half-hour of commercials before the film started a bit harsh. The lights were then abruptly turned off and then turned back on 20 seconds early at the end of the film without dimming. Overall, one would have expected something different, given the ticket prices and a "deluxe" cinema. Such basics should simply be fine.

The sound and picture are very good. Unfortunately, the smaller auditoriums are quite worn, the seats are worn, and the acoustics are such that you hear more of the rustling of chip bags and other people's conversations than the film. Furthermore, halfway through the film (as mentioned in other reviews), a group of men came in who obviously couldn't understand the film and were very loud about it, which was unfortunately really annoying and spoiled the tension of what was actually a very good film. It's a shame.

Even Cinecitta was good. Ordering online with a mobile phone was difficult. It only worked four times.

Franconia's cinema spot, price/performance-wise, has been outdated for a long time.

Huge complex. I think they show 20 different films a day. The signposting is a bit confusing in places. Most of the staff were friendly. The concept of which film is playing in which specific cinema didn't make sense to me, but it didn't need to. I just found the prices for drinks and snacks excessive.

Wow, the Cinecitta Open Air Cinema in Nuremberg – a truly unique experience! The idea of spending a movie night on a rooftop above the city is simply brilliant and absolutely praiseworthy. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the view over Nuremberg is breathtaking. Unfortunately, our cinema experience took an unexpected, furry turn. As I gazed intently at the screen, a parallel live performance began in the rows of seats: a swarm of rats that had decided to spend the evening with us. They scampered through the aisles so enthusiastically that I almost completely forgot about the film and just hoped none of them would claim my seat. Despite the animal distraction, the basic idea of the cinema was great. The rats made for an unforgettable evening, but probably not the way the operators had planned. It was a horror film in 4D – with real actors. My tip: have a staff member at the back to simply shoot these vermin.

They have rats running through the chairs , went to the restroom and came back and found rats eating my left overs. It’s disgusting , they only gave me my money for my ticket back and acted like it was nothing like it was no big deal. For reference I was there tonight in deluxe cinema 4

Unfortunately, the popcorn doesn't taste good at all anymore. It's not really sweet and tastes rather neutral... The sound in the theaters is very good, and the theaters are usually kept clean.

Cinema Hall 1 is a bit dated and could use some modernization. The hall is very large, and so is the screen. The seating arrangement could be a bit better. For a few euros more, I've seen and tried much better. The picture and sound are very good, though. I also really liked the 3D. Next time I'll try the Deluxe, hoping for more comfort.

Everything was very clean, and the food was ready at our seats as ordered. Unfortunately, there were problems with the movie, which resulted in a longer wait. But the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We still had a great time. Unfortunately, we had to edit our review! We go to the cinema quite often and wouldn't say anything if it didn't happen so often. Unfortunately, the seats are dirty far too often, the seats are rarely available if you buy them in advance, and the restrooms are truly disgusting. The staff are friendly and all, but when a cinema ages like this, you have to take responsibility for it. The restrooms smell extremely strong, even in the morning. And some of the seats are broken! We've found alternatives in the meantime, which is a shame.

The on-site dining options are also solid: from popcorn and nachos to full meals and drinks in the attached restaurants – so anyone who likes can spend an entire evening here. The prices for snacks and drinks are, as in most cinemas, rather high, but that's standard almost everywhere these days. For a special movie night with friends, family, or even as a date, Cinecittà is highly recommended. The combination of atmosphere, technology, and selection makes it one of the best addresses for film fans in Franconia. 🎬🍿

An epic cinema experience in an adjustable lounge sofa with seat service... the deluxe cinemas are an absolute must, regardless of the film!

I don't know what's going on at the cinema these days, but this is the second time this year that we've noticed people who haven't paid for a ticket bursting into the cinema in the middle of the film, talking and laughing loudly, then looking for a seat and disturbing other visitors. Word is getting around that there are no entry controls. To be honest, I won't be coming back, and if I do, I won't pay the admission fee either; it seems to have become the norm.

We visited CINECITTA three times this month and each time we noticed that several people were gaining unchecked access to the screenings. Groups of people simply sneak into the auditorium, look for free seats (which they check on the screen outside beforehand), and then behave extremely disrespectfully: talking loudly, constantly walking around, and showing no consideration for other moviegoers. This is not only annoying, but also shows that there is apparently no effective access control. Why are there no turnstiles or ticket checks at the auditorium doors? Anyone can seemingly just walk in without paying – and we, as paying guests, notice this clearly. This definitely makes going to the cinema no longer fun. We will not be visiting the cinema again for the time being until the situation changes. It's a real shame!

I'm revising my stars. Over the last two years, it's gotten increasingly dirtier: trash, rust, broken upholstery, wobbly seats. The 3D glasses keep breaking. The restrooms are likely unhygienic and often broken. The food is too expensive, as they often use inferior, ready-made products.

I always found the whole CINECITTA very interesting and really good, especially because of the latest technology. However, I do think it needs a major overhaul now, perhaps in several phases, but it's working and, unfortunately, is no longer well-maintained. There's so much potential. The connections between the different areas of the complex could be utilized much more and better. Furthermore, a better security concept is definitely needed, which would potentially improve overall hygiene. I also find the open-air cinema, which is rarely open due to the weather, exciting, so I've visited it several times. Unfortunately, the picture quality and the location are very poor. But you probably know that. On the other hand, I think the seats are very good. The highlight for me is always the uniqueness. For example, the cinema itself or the installed technology. Like the Deluxe Cinema with the Onyx screen, but of course also the huge Cinemagnum. At the Cinemagnum, I would like to see them use the IMAX format again, even if it has to do with licensing rights. Of course, if it's economically feasible. I understand if it's not worth it. Otherwise, the Cinemagnum also urgently needs an upgrade, perhaps a mix of premium and standard seating like the Zoopalast cinema in Berlin, and the screen has some stains in the corners. Hopefully, these have been repaired by now. (I pointed this out several times via email about 1.5 years ago.) As for the excellent Onyx auditorium, it would be really cool if they could move it to a larger auditorium without the deluxe version. Perhaps auditorium 1. In general, I think an update or upgrade is finally necessary at CINECITTA. Because for precisely these reasons, I'm currently visiting the renovated Admiral Boutique Deluxe Cinema with Dolby Vision+Atmos in auditorium 1. The price-performance ratio is significantly better there, as prices at CINECITTA have risen significantly. But I definitely want to have good reasons to come back to CINECITTA. Especially to the Cinemagnum. That's why I wanted to write a review that might get some attention. Unfortunately, I'm giving it 3 stars. However, it has the potential to climb back to 5++++.

We recently saw the children's film "Lilo & Stitch" (rated 6) at Cinecittà. Before the film began, a trailer for the film "Mädchen Mädchen" (rated 12), which deals with sexual content such as orgasms, was shown. This content was completely inappropriate for our two children (6 and 8 years old). We consider it irresponsible to show such trailers before a film clearly rated for children. For this reason, we will refrain from advertising in the cinema in the future – because apparently, you can't be sure what else will be shown there. This incident is particularly critical because children ages 6 and up are legally allowed to see such films alone, as long as they have the appropriate rating and the screening ends before 8 p.m. (Section 11 of the German Youth Protection Act). Had our children seen the film alone in the cinema, they would have been exposed to this age-inappropriate content without protection – a clear violation of child protection laws.

We were at the Cinecittà Nuremberg this weekend – unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Shortly before the film started, a mouse/young rat ran through the auditorium. We immediately reported it and left. The staff's reaction was friendly, but unfortunately very routine – apparently, this isn't the first time this has happened. We received a refund and vouchers for snacks, with the note "if you come back." Honestly, better not. A cinema shouldn't be a place for rodents.

I love the Cinecitta in Nuremberg. Especially the Deluxe Cinema. It's so cozy and simply beautiful. It's not much more expensive, and the small surcharge is totally worth it. We come to Nuremberg quite often these days just to go to the movies. You can even order drinks and snacks online, which are then brought to your seat at the Deluxe Cinema. The staff are all really nice, and you just feel completely at ease. I definitely recommend it!

I've never been to a cinema like this before. It's almost impossible to get lost, but the signs help you find the auditorium. We watched MI, made reservations online in advance, and drinks and popcorn were already waiting for us. We sat down in the big, comfortable seats, and, whoosh, the three hours of cinema experience were over...and so was €50.

I saw the movie The Creator in the Deluxe Onyx Theater, and it was a fantastic experience! Super comfortable seats, great sound, and deep blacks on the screen. The service was also fantastic; everything was brought to your seat. I highly recommend it!

Cinema doesn't get any better than this

Do the cinemas have air conditioning? I didn't notice any in auditorium 8 and, fittingly for the Jurassic Park movie, I got a good sweat. 😉

It's a shame what Cinecitta has become. The cinemas are dirty or the seats are broken. It's often happened that people found popcorn left in their seats from the previous person. The service for ordering at the Deluxe cinema has also been discontinued, and the counters at the Deluxe cinema are often understaffed, so you have to wait. And then it's more expensive than at the Admiral. As a current comparison, F1 at the Admiral, with its Vision & Atmos technology (and very comfortable Deluxe seats), costs €18.90 on Sundays in the Deluxe 4 cinema, which costs €22.00. The price would be okay if they still had at-seat service, but it's not anymore. Perhaps the cinema should invest more in maintenance and customers than in 10+ neglected Deluxe cinemas. Unfortunately, we will only visit the cinema for the food (which is the reason for the 2-star rating instead of 1-star).
