I'm already familiar with Hans im Glück from the branch here in Kiel. You can't really go wrong there. During my stay in Würzburg, I was craving a burger and happened to see that there's also a Hans im Glück location there.
Everything went perfectly from ordering to paying, and my special requests (omitting certain foods due to allergies) were handled without any problems.
I had a wonderful end to my birthday there 😃
I entered wanting to try local Munich foods and asked the staff to recommend me with a dish they said was very delicious, but the real taste was disappointing. And, the bartender even sparked his mouth water onto my face - unapologetically because they got too busy😭and when I asked about vegetables, they seemed to got too panicked to understand what vegetable is…the restaurant was so disorganized that I wouldn’t visit again!!!
Authentic Bavarian cuisine, delicious, super friendly service. Rustic ambiance, very harmonious. Very reasonable prices (for Munich!). We'll gladly come back.
Whenever I'm in the mood for a burger in Munich, I always go here. The meat is fresh and can therefore be cooked medium, which simply tastes better and is juicier. The sauces and fries are also delicious.
We spontaneously decided to eat here today. We received a friendly welcome, and even without a reservation, the two of us were easily seated.
Anthony greeted us warmly at our table and immediately suggested wine and food options!
The carbonara and burrata, as well as the garlic bread (a bread that truly lives up to its name!), were fantastic! We didn't have to wait long for our food, and you could immediately tell how high-quality the ingredients were!
The sweet white wine was the best I've ever had!
Yes, the prices are high, but (unfortunately) reasonable and justified. :) If we're ever in Munich again, we'll definitely be back!
Very nice restaurant to try authentic Indian food right in the city center. I went there on a Monday evening, so the place was not super crowded.
I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was a great choice. The chicken was tender and the seasoning superb, with a wonderful spicy touch. Additionally, they serve this dish with side potatoes, which were absolutely tasty due to the herbs. The freshly baked garlic Naan bread was very good—I even had to order a second one!
The staff was friendly and the food came rather quickly. Prices are what you can generally expect in Munich
We remembered the Colosseo's culinary skills being better. Yesterday's visit, however, was a bitter disappointment. The pasta wasn't hot, and the chefs clearly hadn't heard of al dente. The focaccia was the worst part – it was like a bad pizza. When we asked if the food was okay, there was no response to our complaint. Never again!
We did not have a reservation, but we were able to find a table without waiting.
The portions are quite large, and the food is tasty and well prepared. It is a bit pricey, but you are also paying for the nice ambiance and atmosphere.
It may not be the best Thai food we have ever had, but it is still worth trying, especially if you are nearby.
