Ca'D'oro is a very good restaurant. The light inside is warm and it has also a beautiful italian atmosphere. We ate two simple Margherita, but they were very tasty. The waiter was nice and kind, and we couldn't ask anything better. Grandi raga tutto buonissimo!

I had the carbonara and a negroni. Both good, traditional interpretations. Food was enjoyable. Service was warm and welcoming. Namine was awesome; helpful and very friendly. Would come again

I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The service from the hostess, waiter, and manager was abysmal. I ordered a wine that, upon tasting, tasted completely different from any of my previous visits to the place. I asked the waitress to change it; after 16 minutes, she came back and said it had been removed from the bill—something I never asked for. When I ordered a different wine, she told me not to order another one because "they all tasted the same to me" and she wouldn't keep swapping them. This disrespectful and inappropriate reaction surprised me greatly, so I asked to speak to the manager. His reaction was even worse: He said that "no one else had complained" and "all the other customers were happy," as if that invalidated my opinion. I clarified that I, too, was a customer and deserved respectful treatment, but he continued to argue. Finally, he told me, "If you don't like it, leave!" After 20 minutes at the table, I decided to leave—disappointed by the lack of professionalism, respect, and empathy. This arrogant attitude makes it seem as if customer service is a burden to them and they haven't understood the basics: respecting and taking guests seriously. I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are far better options in Munich where guests are truly valued. Delicious pasta and pizza with an outstanding atmosphere. We were served by Namine today, and it truly enhanced our evening. Despite our away loss, we left with a smile.

I'd like to draw your attention to the unacceptable behavior of the manager at the door—the one with the Italian accent. His demeanor is rude, unprofessional, and completely unsuitable for someone who is supposed to be greeting and serving customers. Instead of being welcoming, he achieves the exact opposite: he makes you feel unwelcome. If this continues, you will lose many customers. I've already seen people walk away because of his treatment, and I personally have no desire to return as long as he works there. Someone in his position should be representing the business positively—instead, he damages your reputation every single day. For the good of your company, he should be removed from his position immediately.

I honestly don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews. After experiencing it myself, I went back and read the negative reviews — and I agree with the comments about the extremely slow service. On top of that, the restaurant made no effort to accommodate a child. We asked for plain noodles (something they should easily have available) and a simple scoop of ice cream, but both requests were flatly refused. Instead, we were told, “These are the pastas we have, and these are the desserts we have.” At one point, a staff member was screamed at so loudly by management that she walked out, which should never happen in front of guests. I’ve worked in kitchens before, and while I understand the stress in the back of house, the front of house should never be exposed to that. I also understand that restaurants may not change menu items, but if that’s their strict policy, it should be clearly noted somewhere on the menu. And before anyone assumes this is a cultural misunderstanding — I live in Austria and have been to Germany many times and know how things typically work here. The food itself was just okay, and the place looks nice, but that’s about it. I would not recommend wasting your time here, especially if you’re dining with kids.

Every detail has been carefully considered: from the glasses to the menu, to the fine leather tablecloth and the seats of evident artisanal quality. The pizza represents the ideal balance between tradition and technique: impeccable dough, even cooking, and a high, fragrant yet soft crust. The wine list is surprisingly extensive and expertly selected, worthy of the finest wine shops. The visit to the kitchen was revealing: non-slip technical flooring, decorative marble surfaces instead of the usual tiles, and an exemplary level of order, cleanliness, and organization. Attention to detail, a true expression of Italian know-how, permeates every aspect of the experience. As a lover of Neapolitan bread and pizza, I would not have expected to find an environment of this caliber. Considering the overall quality, the pricing policy is surprisingly balanced and affordable. A place to remember, an experience worth experiencing without hesitation.

I highly recommend Ristorante Ca'D'oro! Our visit was an absolute highlight, especially thanks to the fantastic spaghetti carbonara. It was perfectly prepared – the sauce was creamy and full of flavor, and the pasta was al dente. It was a true feast for the senses! The dessert was also a dream. I tried the tiramisu, and it was simply divine – light, fluffy, and with just the right amount of sweetness. A perfect end to a wonderful meal! I would especially like to emphasize the excellent service. Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive, and immediately put us at ease with her warm manner. She competently answered our questions about the dishes and gave us great recommendations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Ristorante Ca'D'oro!

After a long train ride, I stopped by Ca'D'oro right next to Munich Central Station for lunch – and it was absolutely worth it. I ordered a Margherita Bufalina pizza with a wheat beer – because beer simply goes best with a good pizza. The pizza was prepared in the Neapolitan style: a light, airy crust, an aromatic tomato sauce with intense flavor, and a wonderfully creamy buffalo mozzarella. You can immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is elegant yet inviting. Since it wasn't very busy at the time, I was able to enjoy my meal in peace. I would especially like to mention the staff: very attentive, friendly, and pleasantly professional. To finish off, I treated myself to an espresso – strong, aromatic, and the perfect way to round off the meal. For me, Ca'D'oro is a clear recommendation: an excellent address for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine near the train station in Munich.

We started out with the calamari that I have to say was the best I ever had, fallowed with the Sea Bass as our entrée that was fantastic. We've been there several times for team meals. The reservation always worked out smoothly. The restaurant is elegant and tastefully decorated. Even when it's crowded, the noise level isn't too high when people are chatting. The service and the food are excellent. The desserts, such as the tiramisu, are delicious. We'll be back for our next business lunch.

I was very disappointed with this Italian restaurant. The service was extremely slow, and it took a long time for the dishes to arrive. Even worse, one of our friends never received their order until much later, which forced them to sit and wait while the rest of us were already eating. When we mentioned it to the staff, the response was unpleasant and unprofessional — they didn’t apologize or try to make it right. On top of that, the food was very expensive and really not tasty. Unfortunately, the overall experience left us frustrated, and I would not recommend this place.

I don't quite understand the good reviews here. There were three of us in the restaurant with a small child. After making us wait a while, we were initially informed that no highchair was available. The meal with pizza magherita and spaghetti vongole + 3 drinks cost €70! The pizza had a great wide crust, but no proper toppings, and the spaghetti was supposed to come with white wine sauce - but none. Some of the shells were empty. When we asked for a small spoon for the child, we were directed to the bar - where the bartender told us in English that he was only in charge of the bar. When we complained to the waiter about this, we were rudely informed that there were staffing problems, which was well known and to be accepted. Bad food and disappointing service - what more could you expect for €70!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Munich. The food is top-class. The staff is very committed and very courteous and the service is good. The ambiance is 5 stars. I really like going there, although rarely because I have to work so much, but I have been visiting the restaurant for 25 years.

The manager or boss of the restaurant, dressed in black and with a goatee, is an unpleasant person. He treated us appallingly, with a swaggering attitude. He looked at us arrogantly. We saw that he treated his employees despotically. He kept us waiting at the entrance for several minutes without saying anything. He stood in front of us for a long time without doing anything, standing 1 meter away from us, staring at us. He didn't even deign to tell us what we wanted or show interest in our presence until we asked him, and he didn't even take an interest in us. Afterwards, his responses were arrogant and ironic. We thought about leaving because of his attitude, but in the end, we stayed. The food was nothing special, very simple and basic, with a very average flavor, high prices, and the kitchen was very slow, with few tables. The only good thing was the treatment of the blonde-haired waitress; she was very pleasant and helpful.

Despite the presence of many plant-based dishes and the fact that we are open to all types of food, the staff insisted repeatedly that nothing on the menu was halal — seemingly as a subtle way to encourage us to leave. We waited over an hour for a pizza and an eggplant parmigiana, which was completely burnt and lacked any flavor. When we got up to pay at the entrance, the waiter accused us of attempting to leave without paying, saying that in Germany, customers are expected to settle the bill at the table. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant.

I received a very warm welcome at Ca' D'Oro, and my first impression was entirely positive. I had politely asked in advance if I could possibly sit a little longer, and even though the restaurant was fully booked, I was still given a seat. I was able to enjoy my entire menu—starter, main course, and dessert—in complete peace over a period of almost two and a half hours. There was no rush or feeling of being rushed. The ribeye steak was exquisitely tender, perfectly cooked to medium rare. A clear 9 out of 10. Highly recommended! The homemade cheesecake for dessert was also a real highlight—creamy, delicately balanced, and simply delicious. Special praise also goes to the service: Irena, Benny, and Daria looked after their guests with great respect, friendliness, and attention. You can tell that the work here is done with passion and professionalism. I would be happy to return.

Then came the homemade tagliatelle with arugula and scampi, a poem. The service is polite and professional; you're finally served. The wine list is well-stocked and presented with select wines. I encountered a rather rude waiter — an older man, though not elderly — who left a very unpleasant impression. He was bald, visibly irritated, and seemed annoyed from the start. I had ordered sea bass and simply asked for half a lemon on the side. To my surprise, when the bill came, I was actually charged for the half lemon. I've dined at many fine restaurants before, often requesting lemon or similar additions, and not once have I been charged for something so small and basic. When we paid the bill, the bill was thrown directly on the table. There was a blank column for you to fill in the service fee. I didn't know what we were served. He didn't even lend us a pen. He asked us how much we should pay. He didn't show politeness until we said 10% and gave us a very fake smile. I don't know what we ate? This was our second visit to this restaurant during our stay in Munich. We stumbled upon it by chance the first time, but the second time we wanted to. The food and service are simply wonderful. The finest Italian dishes, paired with a very good wine. A dream 🥰 The service was very attentive; we had a really nice lady serving us twice! All in all, it's not exactly cheap, but I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm back in Munich.

I don’t know who wrote all these good reviews, but carbonara here is disgusting. Pasta is too boiled (not al dente), souse is too fatty (like in mac&cheese), bacon is deep fried as a shoe sole. I simply couldn’t swallow it All guests here are speaking English, felt it just a place for tourists who are waiting their train 😒
