Came for lunch here because of great reviews. However, the whole experience was disappointing. We were informed that only pizza was available that day when we were entering the garden. The garden itself is beautiful. We ordered beers and one pizza. Somehow, waitresses forgot or misplaced our pizza and we were waiting for more than hour to get Margherita pizza. Felt hungry and unhappy, can’t recommend this place. The whole lunch ended up with packing pizza for takeout as we were afraid we won’t catch the train.

Waited for 15 minutes at the “Please wait here” sign while being ignored by the service staff. Then left.

Personally, the price/performance ratio didn't quite suit me. There are much better restaurants in the area. The service was attentive and friendly. The pizza was OK. Parking is difficult due to the location. In the side streets for a fee or in the parking garage.

Nice Italian restaurant. There were only pizzas on the menu. The service is fast. Good. An Italian finally.

I don't recommend standing in line even though there were a lot of free seats, lunch break suddenly the lady said you had to wait an hour and they let others in. I don't recommend it.

The waitress was extremely polite and was happy to help my older companion with the selection. The ambience is very modern with large open space and the seats were very comfortable. Most important of all, the food was exceptionally delicious. The pizza was certainly a highlight and something completely different than what we know. It's a shame that we were only in Munich for a short vacation, otherwise we would come more often!

Unfortunately, the restaurant did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately the pasta wasn't very tasty and a bit overcooked. We had to wait over 40 minutes for our food even though the restaurant was not at full capacity at lunchtime. The ambience reminds us more of a fast food shop, it is not very lovingly furnished. The furnishings seem worn and the toilet was not clean.

We had to wait a long time to get to the entrance and were ignored several times by the service staff. Then we were annoyed and sent to a table and weren't served for a long time. Other guests were rudely sent away from a “locked” area several times. Our coffee was lukewarm and the glasses weren't all clean. When paying we were complained that we wanted to pay separately and in cash, that the wallet wasn't that heavy. Then we kindly pointed out that the other service staff could be a little friendlier. The reason was that she hadn't been working here for long and someone had to do everything alone and that it would be closed in two weeks anyway. In our opinion, friendliness has nothing to do with how long you've worked at a restaurant. We wouldn't recommend it.

Unfortunately we didn't even get to eat. There was no communication with the queue and suddenly it was said “we are now taking a break for 30 minutes”. Waitresses didn't communicate with each other... weakly

The pizzas are very good, but ridiculously overpriced at 17 euros for a small margherita. The Cesar salad was a disaster - the chicken dry and salty, the lettuce leaves soggy and drowned in Parmesan dressing. Incredibly slow service.

We arrived, we were seated at the table, we took something to drink and we ordered something to eat and we waited, seeing that all the people passed before us. Unforgettable experience we were seated at the table, we were served drinks and ordered food. We waited for the meal without ever being served. I don't know how many people were served before us but arrived after. We decided to leave the restaurant after paying the bill, they didn't apologize, nothing. I am black and my partner and I wondered if there was a problem. As we are civilized we left without making too much noise. They didn't even apologize. …unbearable situation.

I am speechless and very disappointed. My girlfriend ordered pizza and I ordered bruschetta, her pizza was partially burnt and my bruschetta? Or rather stone? The bread was not warm but very hard. Of course we asked the waiters about it, but unfortunately we received a really unfriendly answer. They didn't want to bring a new order or find a solution, and from that point on we were simply no longer served politely. When my girlfriend wanted to pay, they just shoved the price in front of us in a very unfriendly manner, not even a goodbye. I don't know, is that how you treat customers? Addendum, they are trying to delete this review... Because of defamation? So really work on your way of working instead of deleting complaints. We tried to personally clarify what was ignored. You shouldn't be surprised at such a rating!

We had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. After waiting in line under the scorching sun for what felt like forever, a random person—who wasn’t even part of the staff—approached us and others in line, telling us to leave because the restaurant had supposedly run out of food. No one knew who this person was, and his claim turned out to be completely false. When we finally got inside, they informed us that the only thing available was pizza—nothing else on the menu. To make matters worse, we waited 15 minutes at our table with no one coming by to take our order. After wasting generally 40 minutes of our time, we decided to leave. It’s shocking that a restaurant with such good ratings could deliver such a terrible experience. At the very least, don’t go there on Saturdays or during lunch hours. We won’t be coming back.

Pizza was better than the pasta. Very little raw ham on the carbonara, and the pesto pasta didn't have much flavor. The pizza proscuitto was tasty and the pizza caesar also very tasty.

My 3 star review was deleted by Oh Julia. When you get an email from Google you wonder. 3 stars? What is the problem. Just because it says that the employees have been waiting forever? Sorry, I don't understand that. You could write as an answer. We are sorry, we will continue to improve our service in this regard. Or there were delays due to shift changes. That was ages ago. And defamation must meet the following requirements.  Asserting or disseminating untrue facts to third parties. The spread, untrue fact must be defamatory. The person doing the slander knows that the facts being spread are untrue.

It's a place we wandered around the center of Munich and finally got seated. Italian pizza is thick, after all. But overall it was satisfying. It is tried. Average 14-18 euros.

I didn't like the pizza at all. I also found the table dirty and the service was very slow. This is my experience.

It looks like they reported my critics to google(not used any bad words) They can’t handle criticism and reporting all lower star reviews. A restaurant should focus to improve customer satisfaction instead of reporting them.

At 7:50 p.m. we ordered a light beer, an Aperol Spritz and a bottle of water. We wanted to eat pizza but the pizza dough was out already out. The waitress wanted to make us pay for the bottle of water and when we had complaints with the waiter, the waitress still wanted us to pay for the water. We feel embarrassed that a pizzeria runs out of pizza dough before 8 p.m. Never again in my life.

The restaurant deletes my Google reviews instead of contacting me or even changing the cause of the review. At the time I gave it 3 stars and criticized the price, the self-service drinks concept and the overwhelmed staff. See the screenshot.

The Pizza was delicious, but the slow service, with only two waiters, led to long wait times for customers. However, the restaurant doesn't sell pasta after 8pm only pizzas.

Location is quite nice. Croutons in the Caesar salad were subpar. The rest of the food was okay but nothing special.

Actually this restaurant has nothing to do with the original oh Julia. They use only the same name, but the menu and the service are not the same. So I asked the waiter for a recommendation of Pasta and honest to god it was one of the worst things I've put into my mouth of all time, realized that it's actually the most expensive pasta and it's extremely terrible. Everything else is great but never ask for a recommendation.

The service was very unfriendly at first because we didn't come in through the main entrance, we were sent out again and waited until she finally served us and looked for a table where we had already been. Food/pizza was very good. Very nice atmosphere on the outside, snack style on the inside. Toilets were miserable. No paper totally dirty. No towels. No toilet service, very poor value for money, for these prices you should also be able to use the toilets.

The courtyard is very beautiful. The ambience inside leaves a lot to be desired. Pizzas and salads are delicious. However, there is a high surcharge for small things. The toilet facilities are worse than at the train station. Sorry, but this urgently needs to be improved. The sanitary facilities should also be right for the prices.

Hello everyone, We were there for an espresso and actually wanted to eat a pizza. - a loudspeaker or something similar was placed on a shelf. To do this, an employee had to climb onto a table. Everything is fine if the table is wiped afterwards. Instead, 2 minutes later, guests were seated at that table. - When the operations manager, shift manager in the interior is constantly smoking his ICOS cigarette, we lost our appetite!

Two days ago I was there with some friends and it was just fantastic. I particularly loved the pizzas with their airy edges, and the cocktails were a refreshing change. I'm looking forward to eating there again soon. The staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating. 😍

The pizza is amazing, tastes like it's in Italy. And the service is also very nice and accommodating. I really enjoy eating here :) The atmosphere with music is also very relaxed and right in the city center near Marienplatz.

Unfortunately not like it was back then. Food came before drinks. Unfortunately, the food was cold and not at all tasty, and there was a wrong description on the menu. When we were told that, we were treated quite condescendingly and really anything but professional. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. We used to be regular guests, but now the prices are completely exaggerated and the quality there is no longer there.

So the store definitely deserves a better rating than the current one. Nice shop, friendly staff, no long waiting times, pasta was delicious, salad and pizza were great... ah and tiramisu too🥳👌💯

Oh Julia! We would have loved to eat here, but it never happened. There were many tables free. Larger tables were occupied by two people. There was no reserved sign anywhere on the tables; So we sat down at a table that has space for 4 people. After about 10 minutes, a service person came and said everything was reserved and asked the two of us to sit at a table for two (very narrow, you are not allowed to have bags with you or on put on the floor.) Then after about 5 Minutes later the cards were handed out. After another 10 minutes, no one came by (there wasn't much going on). So we decided to go. A pity! The “service” we were able to “enjoy” doesn’t deserve a star. Unfortunately I can't rate the food because I never got around to trying it.

The restaurant is perfect for a nice evening together. The waitress Olivia served us attentively, openly and personably. She simply sweetened our evening!!! We look forward to a next time at OhJulia!

Four tables of new guests and the staff (5 people) standing in a heap taking selfies and working full-time on looking good. After 15 minutes we got up and left. It used to be our favorite place. Now just expensive with no service and arrogant staff. Switching back to self-service and working like before, it was actually expensive and good. Today it's just expensive and embarrassing...

Tonight was miserable!! We had to call a waitress at least 4 times until someone came. The dish we ordered arrived wrong and my wife's dish arrived 30 minutes later than mine so we had to eat separately. The aperitif was served with the main course, even though we had explicitly stated that it should also be served before the meal. 0 points for everything!! Never again oh julia.

Not bad, but it could be better. My beloved carbonara was beautifully presented and with nice, crispy guanciale, but unfortunately only lukewarm and with not enough egg and cheese. The price makes you cringe, but it's right in the center of Munich. Nice atmosphere, the service was inexperienced, but we all had to learn.

Lovely restaurant, open for late lunch as we found shelter from the rain. We loved the Linguini and the Oh Julia pizza. Easy atmosphere and GREAT MUSIC!

Just had to order two pizzas as they were so incredibly good. Definitely one of the best pizzas in Munich. I really, really enjoy coming here. Since new management has taken over this restaurant, everything can be recommended. Good music, very nice employees and just a great atmosphere. Come to OhJulia if you're nearby.

Food was quite good and the ambience was appealing. Unfortunately, the waiters were relatively unfriendly and our food was initially forgotten - we waited a long time for it.

The pizza was just ok, pretty mediocre but the atmosphere inside is really nice and the staff who served us was friendly and very attentive and doesn’t mind asking the kitchen to twist a bit about ingredients according to the customers preference. I wish every staff was like her. She was amazing. It’s just that she was the only one serving all tables when we were there so it took a while for her to come to the table to collect orders. They need to boost a number of staff to maintain the smoothness in the operation.

I've eaten at OhJulia in Munich several times before and everything was always perfect. I was eating at OhJulia with my friends last week and saw that they almost only offered pizza and few pasta dishes. I ate the pesto pasta and it tasted very good, just a little lukewarm. The worst part of our stay was our waitress. At the end where we wanted to pay we gave her a 5€ tip. Tipping is not a given and she loudly told us that we should give 10% because otherwise that means she wasn't nice enough that we are just children who have no money, we were all speechless and couldn't believe that we were being treated so disrespectfully. That was a disgrace and we will no longer visit the restaurant.

Back to the basics. The staff should be trained to greet customers in a friendly manner before they are told where they can and cannot sit. So not only the tips but also the sales are gone at some point. A pity.

Service was bad. Food arrived before our drinks. Had to ask multiple times for an additional plate and 5x to pay. Pizza was good.

Sadly this great location is not enjoyable. We had to wait more than 20mins for a lemonade and a beer, the toilets are super dirty, the staff seems to be super unorganised and overchallenged. The tiramisu though, is super nice. I‘m hoping they can manage their service and cleaness a little!

A good place in the center to hide from the crowd. Quiet, cozy, delicious. Good service, friendly staff. Normal cocktails and tasty food. Aperol Spritz is normal, it can be much worse, but it can also be better. The price of Aperol is quite high.

When entering the restaurant my stepmother, who was casually trailing behind us, looking around, was out of the blue berated by a bald, bearded waiter who yelled at her: What are you doing here? She was shocked by the encounter and excused herself even though she didn't do anything wrong BY WALKING INTO THE RESTAURANT! Needless to say we left because this is no way to talk to or treat customers. This was just so embarrassing!

The atmosphere was nice and when it got a little cooler you were given a blanket. However, the service was unfriendly and the food was at 3 other tables before it arrived at one. The food, we had pizza and carbonara, was both cold and not sufficient. The taste wasn't that good either. When we wanted to pay we had to ask three times. Will not eat there again!
