Trattoria La Dolce Vita in München

Friendly staff, pizza below expectations and it's absurd to pay €7.50 for a bottle of water (we took 1 litre of still and sparkling water). For 5 Margherita pizzas, 2 mugs of beer, 2 waters, a normal coffee and a macchiato with milk; total €93.00.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. When I arrived, I was told there were no available tables, yet I noticed other people arriving after me and they were seated without any problem. This made me feel ignored and treated unfairly. Good service should be equal for everyone, and I hope the management improves the way they welcome guests in the future.

I happened to be in the area and decided to try this Italian restaurant. The food was excellent, including excellent pizzas. I've been to other Italian restaurants in the past few days, but this one, in my opinion, is the best. The food was good and the service excellent, despite the restaurant being completely packed. I'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the pizza calzone wasn't warm. The salad and bruschetta were good.

We ordered a mixed antipasti plate, mixed fish plate, and a pizza. Except for the pizza, the food wasn’t anything special. The fish was overcooked and quite dry. We trusted the reviews and ratings, but we were disappointed.

It was of a good standard, but nothing particularly special. The terrace was closed that day because it was much too cold for the time of year. The ambiance was so-so, and it was very loud, but we weren't cold. The service was attentive, and the prices were reasonable by Munich standards.

Good food, but sometimes expensive.

We also don't understand the positive reviews. We wanted a good, relaxed meal. Unfortunately, the squid was lukewarm, tasteless, and very small in quantity. Even the salad came in a small bowl with a side dish. Overall, it was expensive, with a lackluster service. Not next time!

I have no idea where these good reviews come from, but I had the tortellini and they were definitely not homemade. The cream sauce was absolutely loveless and tasteless. There are better tortellini in the supermarket. My friend liked the pizza OK, so I gave it 2 stars. I would never eat anything there again.

Place with purely Italian gastronomy, very good food, good pizzas too. Courtesy and kindness. Prices not like Trattoria as we identify it in Italy, not to mention the spirits.... prices No Comment. For the rest you can go back, but with caution this time.

Our favorite Italian restaurant has closed after 31 years and we are looking for a new one nearby. The first attempt in the area failed. Today it was the turn of the dolce vita. I was there every now and then 10 years ago. Today again after a long time. The menu has everything I love. The restaurant is very pleasant and makes you feel good. The pizzas were great, the mixed salad was a good mix, the house wine was good. We ate part of the menu, parmesan truffle crusted pork tenderloin with gnocci. That tasted fantastic. The waiter, a very humorous Sicilian, is also called Giuseppe, like our lost host. All in all, we were very satisfied and found our new favorite Italian restaurant. We'll be back! That's a threat!

The pizza is very good, but the pasta dishes were not recommended. Not al dente but simply cooked too short and the taste was just mediocre. The restaurant has relatively tight seating outside and inside.

La dolce vita is a pleasant and lively place even on a normal Wednesday evening. There are many attentive service staff and waiters at the start of the active and typical Italian restaurant. There are no long waiting times, the food is at the right temperature and freshly prepared. The menu is not oversized and focuses on selected dishes. At best I missed bruscetta, but that's a matter of taste. The three of us chose the truffle tagliatelle from the evening menu and ordered extra parmesan to go with it. The fresh truffles were generously grated over the pasta; visibly large black truffles were used. The sauce base was light yellow in color, had a rather liquid consistency and tasted relatively neutral, pleasantly salty. Together with the Parmesan, a good combination for a moderate price of 22.50 euros. I ate a mixed salad for 8 euros, which was harmoniously served with salad dressing. Very tasty and recommended.

Very large, delicious pizza with generous toppings. We had the tuna pizza and you can almost share one between two people. The service staff is not only friendly but also humorous and ensures that the visit doesn't end without a laugh. The price is a bit more expensive but it's worth it. You also pay for the elegant ambience.

We discovered the restaurant out of necessity. It was the last evening of our Munich short trip. So the staff was exceptional. Typical Italian hospitality. The food was really good. One order was delivered incorrectly, but the steak that came instead of the salad was also perfect. However, there is one big but: it is almost too cheap for the food and quality. 7 drinks, 7 main courses and 5 desserts for 180 euros are more than fair. Thank you for the perfect Munich ending. P.s.: My daughter continues to learn Italian well.

We had a very enjoyable evening here with delicious food and friendly, humorous waiters. The beautiful and relatively large winter garden allows for an “outside feeling” even on cooler evenings, and parking spaces in the yard are simply super practical! Clear recommendation!

After a few days in Munich, I was missing some Italian cuisine. I must say that I found home in this restaurant. Good quality of food. I read reviews of water theft... it's a shame that on average throughout Munich a bottle costs 7 euros everywhere... at least here the bottle was 1 litre.

This is my absolute favorite Italian. All the food is really great, in the many times I've been there I've never had bad or cold food. The service is very friendly and you feel very welcome there. The atmosphere is like being in Italy, just great. I don't have a bad word for the restaurant. I recommend the proshiutto e funghi pizza, the tortellini and the panna cotta. However, I wouldn't take the quattro formaggi and the casereccia, in my opinion these pizzas are not as good as the others.

La Trattoria is a pleasant restaurant that offers good food in a cozy atmosphere as it has a terrace. However, the pizzas came out a little overcooked, the food took a while to be served and you found some flies on the terrace. I will recommend the Trattoria to those who like Italian food but keep in mind that on days with many customers, your dishes will take time to arrive at your table.

We love the store! The service is super friendly, it's such a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Especially great for children as there is a garden with a playground. We'd love to come back!

Very tasty food and our waiter was very nice and funny. Price/performance ratio is top. What was noticeable and unfortunately wasn't so great was that our food came differently. Whether it's a starter or a main meal. There were already differences of over 10 minutes. The restaurant should please work on this, because you go out to eat with friends/family to eat together and not one after the other ;)

Great Italian "Ristorante" with perfect service staff - harmonious menu with some unusual dishes - gratinated pumpkin carpaccio with buffalo mozzarella - which are absolutely worth the price I would be happy to come back if I end up there

The waiter was very friendly! but the food was terrible.

I would not recommend the restaurant! The service was rude, customer-unfriendly and listless. We weren't shown to the table, but were rather boredly told, "Your table is behind there." When the drinks came, I was forced to take almost all of them down, even though there was enough space for the waitress to serve them. Then the starter was served at the same time as the main course. Last but not least, the food tasted mediocre and the drinks lacked carbonation.

Nightmare experience. Leaving aside the quality of the dishes, a steal. €7.50 a bottle of water. Absolutely unauthorized tip, they set it on the POS without warning, €3.20 stolen. I strongly advise against it

Why such a good rating? In the greater Munich area, a third of the employees apparently turned their backs on gastronomy during the Corona period... strangely enough, apparently not a single one in the Trattoria La Dolce Vita... Old attentive hands and even though we were on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. after tel. When we got the last table to reserve, the service was sensationally quick and there was no pressure. (My wife doesn't like to make decisions quickly). And yes, I like it when they bring me the second beer before I've completely finished the first (thirst is worse than homesickness and for the purists, no, that wasn't a 5 minute pilsner, but a dark one from the bottle). But I was still attentive enough to notice an eight-year-old guest galloping behind the bar and doing nonsense there. His hair was gently ruffled and he wasn't chased away... After a reasonable amount of time, a pizza with salsiccia! I've never had one like that before, it was good. The food was a 4.5 but with everything around it, the service and with the grappa expert Pasquale (the stocky one with the red glasses) picking out and enjoying a really good grappa gave me a very nice evening with good food and drink! Whenever I come into the corner again, my first choice. Your Achim!

The restaurant is very popular, most likely due to the proximity of the mass. It's very noisy, but it's not a restaurant. The main thing for which people come to a restaurant is food, but that’s not the case here. Not spaghetti, not fish, not even pizza. Everything is very average. It's a pity. But maybe we're unlucky.

Worst visit to a restaurant... I've never experienced anything like that... and we eat out a lot! It was supposed to be a nice, cozy evening for my husband's (Italian) birthday. I looked around for a long time and decided on La Dolce Vita. The shop was packed (trade fair), hectic to no end, the waiter was more than unfriendly! We had to order everything at once because he ultimately needs the cards again because he has to work... normally we should have left already! The food was ok - but nothing more. Unfortunately we treated ourselves to dessert somewhere else.

Very nice atmosphere :). The food (Pizza Quattro Formaggi) was excellent and served warm. Within a few minutes at normal capacity in the restaurant. The service was very courteous and reliable. Pizza War der absolute Hit! Schon lange nicht mehr so eine feine Pizza gegessen! Falls ich mal wieder in München bin, werde ich sicher wieder dort hingehen!

Wir sind noch nie Enttäuscht worden Da passt alles

Tolle Pizzeria sowohl zum Verzehr vor Ort, als auch zum Mitnehmen. Es gibt keinen Lieferdienst. Ich habe spontan für meine Kollegen Pizza bestellt - 22 Stück. Trotz der recht großen Bestellung war meine Bestellung nach ca. 30min abholbereit. Die Pizza schmeckt hervorragend. Ein Maßstab für mich ist immer, ob mit frischen Champignons gearbeitet wird. Mein Eindruck hier ist, dass alle Zutaten sehr frisch sind - insbesondere die Pizza Vegetaria ist sehr gelungen. Aber auch Thunfisch, Schinken, Sardellen und Salami sind exzellent.

Das Lokal ist schön groß und geräumig gestaltet. Es gibt überdachte Sitzplätze im Freien. Die Bedienungen sind höflich uns schnell. Das Essen ist lecker, vor allem die Pizzen haben es mir angetan. Man kann die Speisen auch zum Abholen telefonisch bestellen, Wartezeiten liegen so bei 15 Minuten und es ist immer alles top. Preislich finde ich das Lokal okay, Preis/Leistung ist gut.
