SENSATIONELL! kann man nur empfehlen! Unbedingt reservieren, es kann voll werden. Offene Küche mit den besten Zutaten! Preislich etwas gehobener, aber absolut fair für die Qualität. Der Service ist eine 11von10 sehr freundlich und familiär.

Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt. Mittags ziemlich voll, Kellner bleiben trotzdem höflich. Spaghetti Pesto war sehr lecker.

Ein tolles italienisches Restaurant mit köstlichem Essen und freundlichen Kellnern. Das Tiramisu ist ein Traum und unbedingt zu probieren! Es ist immer gut besucht, daher empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung. Einziger Nachteil: Es ist recht laut.

Seit der Eröffnung 2002 merkt man, dass hier echte Leidenschaft für die italienische Küche gelebt wird – und das spürt man bei jedem Besuch aufs Neue. Das Essen ist schlichtweg fantastisch. Alles wird liebevoll und handgemacht aus frischen, saisonalen Zutaten zubereitet – man schmeckt sofort den Unterschied zur Massenküche. Die Gerichte sind aromatisch, authentisch und immer auf den Punkt zubereitet. Besonders die Menü-Highlights des Küchenchefs sind eine absolute Empfehlung – hier lässt man sich gerne überraschen! Und das Dessert? Unbedingt Platz lassen – es ist der krönende Abschluss eines jeden Besuchs! Was das Erlebnis aber noch einmal auf ein ganz anderes Level hebt, ist das herzliche und aufmerksame Serviceteam. Die Bedienenden sind unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und stets mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen – wie bei Freunden zu Hause. Solch eine persönliche und warme Atmosphäre findet man heutzutage selten! Ich kann das La Tazza D'oro wärmstens empfehlen – für ein gemütliches Mittagessen genauso wie für einen entspannten Abend. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Das Restaurant ist toll und preiswert. Die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und der Service ist gut. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der Speck in meiner Carbonara war zu fettig und dick, sodass sie schwer zu essen war. Ansonsten war es fantastisch!

Nettes Restaurant, mit wirklich leckeren Gerichten, welche von Fisch bis Nudeln alles abdecken. Service war ebenfalls bemüht, allerdings im recht vollen Restaurant sehr am rotieren. Was wirklich verbesserungswürdig ist; die Weine, wobei es nur 3 Weißweine gab - ich habe selten so einen Fusel getrunken... was schade ist, da der restliche Abend wirklich toll war!

Das Essen war sehr gut, nicht sensationell aber den Preisen angemessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, allerdings ab und zu etwas langsam nachdem der Laden fast komplett voll war und es nur eine einzige Bedienung gab. Später haben dann noch Kollegen geholfen, dann ust es etwas besser geworden. Das Ambiente ist auch schön, allerdings ist kann es recht schnell eng werden nachdem das Lokal ziemlich klein ist.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber wahnsinnig überteuert. Ich habe über 30 Euro für ein Hauptgericht und eine Cola bezahlt und musste danach noch zum Bäcker, weil ich immer noch so hungrig war. PS: Wenn man alleine ist, sitzt man an der Bar – nicht empfehlenswert.

Pasta in an extremely watery sauce, one of our two pasta dishes were overcooked, the cook was using stainless steel utensils on teflon, spaghetti probably not made by them and store bought, pesto tasted like Barilla, dusty wood around where we were seated.

On August 27, 2025, I ate pasta with chanterelle mushrooms there in the afternoon. Unfortunately, they tasted bland. Afterward, I felt bloated for hours, had a stomach ache, and lasted well into the night. Diarrhea also came along! Luckily, it wasn't poisoning, but I'm sure they were either reheated several times (which isn't allowed) or stored improperly and not heated properly (not in the microwave, but on the stove!). The protein structures can then harbor bacteria and cause severe symptoms. I'm really negative about it!

Abbiamo cenato ieri sera in questo delizioso ristorante. Non avevamo prenotato, eravamo alla ricerca disperata di un ristorante che facesse anche del minestrone per nostra figlia di 5 anni, visti i troppi wurstel e carne mangiati nei giorni precedenti. Il cuoco (italiano vero) ha capito la situazione ed è riuscito a farci mettere in un tavolo di fortuna. Ottimo il minestrone (fatto sul momento), ottimo il tris di ravioli burro e salvia e davvero buonissima la pasta col ragù di salsiccia. Stra consigliato, non solo per il cibo superbo, ma anche per la cordialità e umanità del personale. Ah, sicuramente super amato anche dai locali visto che era tutto pieno e continuava ad arrivare gente!

The Tazza D'Oro impresses across the board from a culinary perspective. My fresh salad came with a delicate dressing and crisp ingredients, and the pasta was perfectly al dente, aromatic, and with a sauce that was simply superbly seasoned. My son was thrilled with his fluffy gnocchi – a true classic, child-friendly, but by no means boring. Perhaps the highlight of the table was my wife's vitello tonnato: tender veal, sliced ​​wafer-thin, served with a creamy, delicately balanced tuna sauce – very close to perfection. The prices? Great food on a beautiful terrace in fantastic weather. It couldn't have been better. Of course, we weren't alone in such wonderful weather, which was reflected in the slightly longer wait times. Regardless, we'll be back.

The truffle tagliatelle was amazing. The vegetarian ravioli not so much. But the service was fantastic and prices were very reasonable. I'm going with 5 stars because I want to believe the truffle tagliatelle is more representative of their food!

We had dinner there on Saturday afternoon and I ordered the salmon noodles. The rest that was left was packed up for me. My sister-in-law ate the rest of the noodles when we got home. In the evening we both suddenly felt incredibly bad, we vomited several times and had incredible stomach pains all night long, so we decided to go to the hospital on Sunday. We were then told that we had severe food poisoning. NEVER AGAIN.

My visit to La Tazza D'oro This Italian restaurant is a bit small, but still offers a fine atmosphere with plenty of seating. The food here tastes excellent. But of the dishes, I personally recommend the pasta dishes such as the Pasta Scampi or the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Calamari. The staff here was also very friendly and helpful. We visited the restaurant as a couple and didn't have a reservation. The reception was very friendly and we were immediately assigned a table by the window. Overall, the waiters were very attentive and friendly. -> Service: 4/5 stars Unfortunately the food took a long time to arrive. We ordered a risotto scampi and pasta with salmon. After a little under an hour the food finally came. Unfortunately the risotto was far too seasoned. Significantly too much salt was used and the taste was very reminiscent of adding vegetable stock. I don't want to imply that this was the case but the taste was very reminiscent of it. The scampi was good. The pasta was okay but unfortunately wasn't really convincing either. -> Food: 2/5 stars (expected more) The restaurant offers a nice atmosphere. It is usually well filled and can get a bit noisy (but that wasn't found to be annoying). The kitchen is located directly in the restaurant, so depending on the space, there may be a slight smell of the food being prepared -> Ambience 3/5 stars It's a shame, we were a bit disappointed after the visit. Maybe we just had a bad day, because the other reviews are very good.

Really great Italian - absolutely recommended! The restaurant is quite inconspicuous and you have no idea what pearl is hidden behind the door! Others have long since noticed this, and since the rooms are relatively small, an early table reservation is absolutely necessary. There is no menu, the offerings can be found on large boards above the counter. There is also no kitchen here; the dishes are prepared in front of the guests right at the counter by a single chef. The food is a dream, rarely eaten such delicious pasta (tagliatelle with truffles). And the tiramisu was the crowning glory of the evening. The service is always nice and you just feel comfortable here. The place is pretty crowded, but that's what makes this location so charming. I will definitely come back!

The music (Italian hits) made the conversation a little more complicated because it was too loud for us. At least you don't have to worry about freezing in winter. The open one-man kitchen is located in the guest room. Service: The service is very friendly and tries to remain attentive. Eat: The cold appetizer plates didn't convince us. It seemed as if the ingredients had just been taken out of the package and placed on the plate without any seasoning. However, cruets are available at the table. The squid was ok, the beef was grilled past the point and too dry. Conclusion: Fine for two people for pasta and a glass of wine at the bar - see and be seen. Such places are the coolest, you know from Google that it's an Italian restaurant but you go there and you don't know what to expect? Maybe you'll get German-style Italian food again, a little too much cheese, pasta a little too hard or too soft, and a lot of beer. And here's a surprise, the main waiter, but probably the co-owner, is Italian. You can order in Italian, not German, and you are immediately closer to Italy. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Wir wollten abends um ca. 21:30 Uhr noch auf einen Drink in Schwabing und fanden im Aussenbereich des Tazza D'oro einen freien Tisch. Als die Bedienung kam, bestellten wir bei dem Herrn für meine Partnerin ein Glas Weisswein, ich für mich ein Bitter Lemon. Kurz darauf stand ein anderer Herr neben uns am Tisch, den ich zunächst für einen Passanten hielt, da er sich nicht als Bedienung zu erkennen gab und auch nicht so aussah. Als ich ihn ansprach, verstand er mich erst nicht, gab uns dann aber zu erkennen, dass er zum Lokal gehört und der Tisch, an dem wir saßen, reserviert sei. Und das in einem nicht gerade freundlichen, eher schroffen Ton. Ich erwiderte, dass das kaum sein kann und wohl ein Misverständnis vorliegt, da uns sein Kollege soeben bedient hatte und wir bereits unsere Bestellung aufgegeben hatten. Er verschwand dann, kam aber nach 2 Minuten wieder mit der klaren Botschaft, der Tisch sei reserviert, wir könnten allenfalls 30min dort sitzen bleiben und unsere Getränke konsumieren. Keine Erklärung, keine Entschuldigung, nichts. Wir sind dann gegangen, da wir einerseits keine Lust hatten die Getränke mit Deadline im Nacken hinunterzukippen, andererseits noch weniger Lust hier Geld auszugeben. Ganz schlechter Stil, unprofessionell und im Grunde unverschämt. Wir sind keine Touristen, sondern Locals aus dem Viertel in Schwabing - das Tazza d'oro sieht uns sicher nicht wieder.

Nicht nur 2 Scampi, was ich sonst zu essen bekomme. Also sehr empfehlenswert. Der Service ist unschlagbar. Die Hauptaussage hier. Alles kein Problem. Und wenn man länger sitzt wird man nicht gleich vertrieben.

Sehr leckere Speisen. Hier ist die ganze Bandbreite der italienischen Küche konzentriert. Authentischer Geschmack aus Italien. Selten erinnert ein Gericht in unseren Breiten an den Sommerurlaub in der Toscana oder Kalabrien. Das hat seinen Preis, aber angesichts der Qualität und dem Geschmack ist es angemessen. Liebhaber original italienischen Essens sind hier gut aufgehoben. Guten Appetit!

Ich verstehe die guten Bewertungen nicht! Wir waren im Oktober dort zu viert zu Mittagessen. Noch draußen. Der Kellner war nur zwei mal bei uns, einmal um die Bestellung aufzunehmen und um die Bestellung zu bringen. Nachdem wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, wurden die Teller nicht abgeräumt. Ca. 30 min haben wir gewartet dass jemand kommt. Wir wollten auch noch was zum trinken bestellen und mit schmutzigen Tellern zu sitzen war auch nicht so gemütlich. Irgendwann haben wir einfach aufgegeben und gegangen. Mein Mann hat dann drinnen bezahlt. Die Qualität des Essens war miserabel! Meine Mama hat in der Pasta con frutti di Mare überall kleinen Schalenreste gehabt! So was darf nicht vorkommen! Meine Putanesca war die schlimmste, die ich je gegessen habe! Also, ich habe mich so gefreut auf das Lokal, wurde uns auch empfohlen! Aber ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass es unser letztes Mal dort war!

Mittagessen im La Tazza. Service sehr freundlich. Ich hatte die Rinderlende Medium rare mit Grillgemüse bestellt. Normalerweise bestelle ich beim Italiener nur Schmorgerichte, da die Italiener nicht gerade bekannt für Kurzgebratenes sind und dabei noch den richtigen Gargrad treffen. Hier aber war alles Perfekt. Vom Gargrad bis zur Fleisch Qualität und dem Grillgemüse alles auf hohem Niveau. Preislich lag das Gericht sogar unter dem was man in nahegelegenen Steak Häusern bezahlt. Wer sich nicht an dem Verkehr auf der Hohenzollerstrasse stört, der findet auch die kleine Terrasse zum Essen wie ein klein wenig wie in Italien.
