Yeah, well, the meat was tough, the sauces were a bit overcooked, and a bit too salty? I went on a recommendation, but it was a bad day. Good service and decent value for money, though!

Delicious food. Excellent service. This is the place to go for traditional German dishes. We did make a reservation, as we couldn't get a table without one the day before.

We were at your place today for lunch and ordered the roast pork from the lunch menu. We explicitly pointed to the lunch menu. However, when we paid, we were charged for a "standard" roast pork, which we only noticed upon checking the price. We "complained," but the ladies simply said they were sorry—a disgrace. You lost four customers today. BTW, the roast pork didn't even taste good... Best, Jim

A typical Munich-style Augustiner restaurant with correspondingly high-quality food. The best Wiener Schnitzel in town, in my humble opinion. A very cozy beer garden and fast, attentive service. We're regulars, sometimes drinking, sometimes eating, usually both :)

Well, we're from the country. So, we're used to traditional inns. We never expected to find such a good inn right here in Munich. The food here is really good and the staff is very dedicated. A big thank you goes out to the male waitress who served us at lunch today (August 23, 2025). That's how you want to be served. With fun and enjoyment. Thanks also to the kitchen for the great food, and especially for the delicious Kaiserschmarn! We'd love to come back for a schnapps :) Thank you, and see you next time!

We'd been here two years ago, and this year we booked before leaving because we couldn't miss our only dinner in Munich! We had several dishes, all excellent, even the sausages for our son were delicious. Pictured are the dessert trios. The beer was very good, of course! The guy who served us was kind and friendly, we hope to return soon!

It was almost closing time, and yet they served us and treated us very well. The food was delicious, and the beer had personality.

The atmosphere, both in the garden and inside, is very charming and authentic. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the setting, as it arrived lukewarm and tasted bland. Even more disappointing was the service. The waiter ignored us for ages, then acted as if we were inconveniencing him when he finally took our order. His tone remained rude throughout the entire evening. Overall, a pretty disappointing experience.

The food was good, and overall, it was really okay. However, the menus were dirty and worn, as they were made of cloth, and unhygienic. A minor quibble, but one that wasn't particularly pleasant and unfortunately remains memorable.

Food is great, the place as well, but i think we were unlucky with the service. A very annoying guy was in charge of our table, he was super grumpy, almost throwing things to the table, staring at my girlfriend without any reason, zero manners. Other than that, all good

We took a day trip to Munich today and chose this restaurant because we were so craving Kaiserschmarrn 😁 Even though the menu specifically stated that you'd have to expect to wait at least 20 minutes, they offered us a free drink because we had to wait so long, which was really sweet. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant; it was delicious and the service was super friendly ☺️

We went out to eat with a group of ten people. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. I ordered a salad with goat cheese, my friend the goulash with dumplings. While everyone else had already finished eating and cleared their plates, I was still waiting for my salad. It wasn't served for 45 minutes – without any apology. The only explanation was that the salad had supposedly accidentally landed at the next table and would arrive "in 3 minutes" – but those 3 minutes turned into another 30. Enjoying the meal together was unfortunately impossible – I had to eat alone, even though it was just a simple salad. For 18 euros, the salad was also extremely disappointing: a small pile of lettuce leaves, some goat cheese, one (!) cherry tomato, and three slices of cucumber. No bread, no extras – absolutely not justified in terms of taste and price. By comparison, the goulash cost only 50 cents more. The situation when paying was particularly unpleasant: When I tried to pay without a tip (after this experience), the waiter asked me very rudely if "that's really all there is to it." A disappointing visit across the board – neither the service nor the value for money were up to scratch. We definitely won't be back.

Food sometimes arrived 10 minutes apart for a group of 10 people. No apologies, nothing! Goat cheese salad consists of 6 lettuce leaves, 2 slices of cucumber, a cocktail tomato, and cheese – and all for €19! 2 slices of bread should also be included for that high price. Vegetarian dishes here are a complete rip-off, considering that a goulash (including dumplings) costs just as much! For €19, I expect to be full.

Munich atmosphere, food is quite Munich-like. Unfortunately, I have to say that I wasn't particularly satisfied with my visit, as the Görreshof had planned with far too few staff on this rainy day. The waitress was clearly overwhelmed, and the Görreshof continued to fill up. As a result, the food/drinks/request to pay were forgotten. The food was okay, but in my opinion a bit underseasoned and a bit bland. Prices are good. Important: I don't blame the service—more the management, as two people were definitely not enough on this day.

The whole meal was really delicious, and the service was top-notch. Unfortunately, my knuckle of pork was very small, and the skin was soft rather than crispy. Nevertheless, we'd happily come back 👍

I heard it used to be better, but I have to say I was absolutely surprised by the food. The roast beef with onions was soft with butter, the gravy was rich, and the fried potatoes were crispy and well-seasoned. The Kaiserschmarrn and the schnitzel were also all very solid. The service was attentive and Bavarian-friendly 😉. I'll definitely be back!

For many years, I've enjoyed coming to the Görreshof whenever I'm in Munich. Everything here is just right.

The beer garden was nice and cozy, not overcrowded with tourists. The interior also had a typical pub feel. Friendly service. A good, solid restaurant. I was happy that they served beef ribs, since I don't eat pork.

I just wanted a quick bite to eat. Then I noticed the oven-baked roast pork on the menu. Unfortunately, it was only warmed up. But what I didn't like so much was that it wasn't a roast, but pork belly.

A great Bavarian restaurant with waiters in lederhosen and all the classics on the menu. We were there for lunch, and they served the best Maultaschen (smothered with fried potatoes) I've ever had in Bavaria. Thumbs up and a big compliment. Lovely little garden.

I had roast beef with onions and spaetzle. Unfortunately, the meat was quite tough. The spaetzle were very bad. They were fried in a lot of fat after cooking and then probably kept warm in an oven. This made them very hard and dry, so they were inedible. I don't understand why the spaetzle aren't just served straight after cooking. My friends had schnitzel, which was delicious. The salad and dessert were also very tasty. The portions are very generous.

Dear "Görreshof Team", You're doing a fantastic job! My boyfriend and I came by for dinner last night, feeling quite hungry before our departure for the Black Forest. We were greeted warmly, served promptly, and felt welcome and appreciated at all times, as the service was truly attentive and courteous (but never intrusive), and they were also up for a little fun. This restaurant turned up on my search for best Kasierschmarrn in munich. They have an outdoor seating area at the back of the restaurant and also one along the road. They serve bavarian/german food. The service is fast, the waiters are attentive and welcoming The Kaiserschmarrn is one with a good twist in other words the crispness and caramelization are quite pronounced All in all, can recommend.

The food was absolutely not restaurant level, it is not professional, did not taste like anything at all, pasta without any flavouring, no spices, no taste, just plain cooked pasta sold for 17eur. A child can do better at home. Avoid if you can, there are better options around.

After a first bad experience there (the food took forever, then a dish was completely forgotten, and the service was terrible), we gave the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, the onion roast beef we ordered, even though it was medium, was overcooked (we received a new one after complaining). There was a large stalk in the salad, and the service was even worse this time. The waitress was obviously having a bad day; she was very rude, never smiled, and argued with colleagues at the bar. After two bad experiences, we wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A typical Bavarian inn with the appropriate ambiance and charm. The food was good, but certainly not outstanding; the fried potatoes with the mountain schnitzel (delicious!) were unfortunately very soggy and greasy. The service was pretty quick, so much so at the beginning that we were asked what we wanted to drink while we were still standing at the table taking off our jackets. A smile would have been more appropriate than the rather grim expression. Other waiters, however, were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended, but I prefer other inns.

We spontaneously ended up at the Görreshof this evening on our guys' trip to Munich. A real stroke of luck. An authentic, rustic Munich restaurant, just as you'd imagine. The food, beers, wines (some of us are winemakers), and their own spirits were excellent. Our server was spontaneous, attentive, polite, and with the necessary rustic charm you'd expect. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a very rustic and harmonious interior that immediately creates a cozy atmosphere – every detail is just right to make you feel completely at home. The Görrishof impressed you across the board from a culinary perspective. The food was incredibly delicious, and a particular highlight was the roast pork with homemade coleslaw and a choice of potato or excellent bread dumplings. Our visit was rounded out by the excellent service. The service was always friendly and attentive, which contributed significantly to our overall positive experience. If you are looking for an authentic inn in Munich with excellent traditional cuisine, a rustic ambiance, and good service, the Görrishof is the place to be. We highly recommend this visit!

5 stars – beer, belly and best service! Anyone who leaves the Görreshof without being full, happy and slightly tipsy has either been to the wrong restaurant - or hasn't met Sabrina. The woman is not only a waitress, but also a mind reader: before you can even say “a light one please”, it is already on the table. And the beer? So fresh that you might think it was poured directly by the master brewer himself. The atmosphere is rustic, the food is hearty and the beer runs down like a Bavarian lullaby. Conclusion: If you miss Sabrina and the Görreshof beer, you are missing Munich. Cheers!

Perhaps if I were German then the wait staff would be more polite to us. We had made a reservation based on the reviews - but unfortunately the order was taken with eye-rolling and we were practically ignored for any subsequent orders, we waited to order dessert, but finally flagged down someone to get our check. Food was OK. The service and reception were much superior at Wirtshaus Obacht Maxvorstadt a few blocks away.

Very nice traditional food, very efficient service and warm atmosphere

Very friendly and attentive staff, food arrived quickly and was also very tasty (little tip: the small portion of schnitzel is enough for normal hunger). The restaurant is furnished with attention to detail and I also found small touches such as deodorant in the toilets very nice. Clear recommendation to visit and we would be happy to come back when we are in Munich again!

The only negative: with a tip of €7 there was no thanks or reaction. The tip was simply shoved into the wallet without a word, which is not possible. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars

We had lunch in this restaurant today, my husband and I. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel with potatoes - unfortunately the food was really bad. The meat smelled and tasted unpleasant and was clearly not fresh. When I kindly pointed this out to the waitress, she just said very arrogantly: "That can't be right - everything is fresh here and we sell a lot." No apology, no accommodation. She then went into the kitchen and came back without a word - that was it. Although the menu and everything else is in German, you quickly notice that only Croatian staff work here - which is of course not a problem in itself, but there is a lot of catching up to do when it comes to customer service and service. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience - neither the food nor the service was okay. We won't be coming back.
