A thoroughly enjoyable visit! 🍻 The brewery boasts a truly lovely atmosphere – quaint, cozy, and inviting. The food was excellent: hearty, fresh, and prepared with love. The freshly tapped beer is a delight in itself and perfectly matches the ambiance. The friendly and attentive service is particularly noteworthy – you feel truly welcome here as a guest. Highly recommended, we'd love to come back! The roast pork and schnitzel were excellent – the fried potatoes could have been even crispier.

It was truly amazing! The best Kaiserschmarrn, I'd go back anytime, absolutely recommend it. There's hand cream in the ladies' restroom. That says it all, I think. Thank you for the lovely visit!

A great Bavarian restaurant with waiters in lederhosen and all the classics on the menu. We were there for lunch, and they served the best Maultaschen (smothered with fried potatoes) I've ever had in Bavaria. Thumbs up and a big compliment. Lovely little garden.

I had roast beef with onions and spaetzle. Unfortunately, the meat was quite tough. The spaetzle were very bad. They were fried in a lot of fat after cooking and then probably kept warm in an oven. This made them very hard and dry, so they were inedible. I don't understand why the spaetzle aren't just served straight after cooking. My friends had schnitzel, which was delicious. The salad and dessert were also very tasty. The portions are very generous.

Dear "Görreshof Team", You're doing a fantastic job! My boyfriend and I came by for dinner last night, feeling quite hungry before our departure for the Black Forest. We were greeted warmly, served promptly, and felt welcome and appreciated at all times, as the service was truly attentive and courteous (but never intrusive), and they were also up for a little fun. The food was sensational and the best example of authentic Bavarian cuisine! 😋 We'd love to come back! Best wishes from Freiburg

A truly harmonious ambiance with lovely decor—a lovely mix of modern and rustic inside, and cozy and nicely secluded outside. The food was delicious, the beer was well chilled, and the service was quick and attentive.

This restaurant turned up on my search for best Kasierschmarrn in munich. They have an outdoor seating area at the back of the restaurant and also one along the road. They serve bavarian/german food. The service is fast, the waiters are attentive and welcoming The Kaiserschmarrn is one with a good twist in other words the crispness and caramelization are quite pronounced All in all, can recommend.

The food was absolutely not restaurant level, it is not professional, did not taste like anything at all, pasta without any flavouring, no spices, no taste, just plain cooked pasta sold for 17eur. A child can do better at home. Avoid if you can, there are better options around.

After a first bad experience there (the food took forever, then a dish was completely forgotten, and the service was terrible), we gave the restaurant another chance. Unfortunately, the onion roast beef we ordered, even though it was medium, was overcooked (we received a new one after complaining). There was a large stalk in the salad, and the service was even worse this time. The waitress was obviously having a bad day; she was very rude, never smiled, and argued with colleagues at the bar. After two bad experiences, we wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A typical Bavarian inn with the appropriate ambiance and charm. The food was good, but certainly not outstanding; the fried potatoes with the mountain schnitzel (delicious!) were unfortunately very soggy and greasy. The service was pretty quick, so much so at the beginning that we were asked what we wanted to drink while we were still standing at the table taking off our jackets. A smile would have been more appropriate than the rather grim expression. Other waiters, however, were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended, but I prefer other inns.

We spontaneously ended up at the Görreshof this evening on our guys' trip to Munich. A real stroke of luck. An authentic, rustic Munich restaurant, just as you'd imagine. The food, beers, wines (some of us are winemakers), and their own spirits were excellent. Our server was spontaneous, attentive, polite, and with the necessary rustic charm you'd expect. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The food was okay, I expected more from the food taste both meat and fried onions , reasonable price big portion. Good old restaurant style. Good service. It’s not easy to find parking lot. And it’s 10 mins walk from U1. Which is totally fine.

Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by a very rustic and harmonious interior that immediately creates a cozy atmosphere – every detail is just right to make you feel completely at home. The Görrishof impressed you across the board from a culinary perspective. The food was incredibly delicious, and a particular highlight was the roast pork with homemade coleslaw and a choice of potato or excellent bread dumplings. Our visit was rounded out by the excellent service. The service was always friendly and attentive, which contributed significantly to our overall positive experience. If you are looking for an authentic inn in Munich with excellent traditional cuisine, a rustic ambiance, and good service, the Görrishof is the place to be. We highly recommend this visit!

Very yummy schnitzel; they were just a lil bit lost w the orders and took our food to another table.. and the lady on the table touched the plate - nevermind. Could have gone better. Maracujaschorle and Holler were yummy so was the kaiserschmarren!

5 stars – beer, belly and best service! Anyone who leaves the Görreshof without being full, happy and slightly tipsy has either been to the wrong restaurant - or hasn't met Sabrina. The woman is not only a waitress, but also a mind reader: before you can even say “a light one please”, it is already on the table. And the beer? So fresh that you might think it was poured directly by the master brewer himself. The atmosphere is rustic, the food is hearty and the beer runs down like a Bavarian lullaby. Conclusion: If you miss Sabrina and the Görreshof beer, you are missing Munich. Cheers!

Price/performance fits. Rustic atmosphere, just as you would expect in Munich. Attentive service, brings the drinks to the man! The food is very tasty.

Perhaps if I were German then the wait staff would be more polite to us. We had made a reservation based on the reviews - but unfortunately the order was taken with eye-rolling and we were practically ignored for any subsequent orders, we waited to order dessert, but finally flagged down someone to get our check. Food was OK. The service and reception were much superior at Wirtshaus Obacht Maxvorstadt a few blocks away.

Very nice traditional food, very efficient service and warm atmosphere

Very friendly and attentive staff, food arrived quickly and was also very tasty (little tip: the small portion of schnitzel is enough for normal hunger). The restaurant is furnished with attention to detail and I also found small touches such as deodorant in the toilets very nice. Clear recommendation to visit and we would be happy to come back when we are in Munich again!

Everything is perfect here: service, ambience, food and drink. But above all, I appreciate that it's still really cozy here, far away from the tourist and nouveau riche hustle and bustle. With that in mind, God bless you!

The only negative: with a tip of €7 there was no thanks or reaction. The tip was simply shoved into the wallet without a word, which is not possible. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars

We had lunch in this restaurant today, my husband and I. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel with potatoes - unfortunately the food was really bad. The meat smelled and tasted unpleasant and was clearly not fresh. When I kindly pointed this out to the waitress, she just said very arrogantly: "That can't be right - everything is fresh here and we sell a lot." No apology, no accommodation. She then went into the kitchen and came back without a word - that was it. Although the menu and everything else is in German, you quickly notice that only Croatian staff work here - which is of course not a problem in itself, but there is a lot of catching up to do when it comes to customer service and service. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience - neither the food nor the service was okay. We won't be coming back.

Very cozy inside and nice little garden outside. White sausages are great, Augustiner wheat beer with it, what more could you want. The service is friendly and relaxed. I like the shop – classic without being stuffy. Feel free to come back.

Unfortunately, I'm quite disappointed... The Görreshof used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. But the Wiener Schnitzel this time was very bad: the meat was very tough and the portion was a bit small. The best way to compare is with the schnitzel, and unfortunately, this was one of the worse ones in a long time. We had Obatzda as a starter, which was very tasty, and another plus point was the sunny spot in front of the restaurant. Otherwise, the ambiance inside is also very nice. I hope for improvement!

Great pub atmosphere, despite the full house it's always very pleasant. If a few more vegetarian dishes were available now, I would be there more often. The seasonal soups are my recommendation - always top.

Typical Bavarian restaurant, The last time there was a young waiter who was very attentive to customers, kind and even joking. Really great service

We visited this inn years ago and still have fond memories of it. It looked very inviting from the outside and the 4 of us entered. Greeted warmly and asked if we wanted something to drink. Yes, we wanted, ideally the big glasses, then you don't have to walk so often. The saying: “A people that cannot feed its hosts is not worth living” was not yet known here. I was hungry too. There was great bread with sauerkraut and small sausages. I'll make it at home today, it goes perfectly with the Haake-Beck box! After several rounds, one of which wasn't on the bill, we walked upright to the hotel. Good that someone still knew the way. We all had a lovely evening and it hardly hurt the next morning, which spoke for the quality of the barley juice. If we come back to Munich we will definitely come here again!

We've had lunch at the Görreshof probably 6-7 times in the last five years. The young ladies in service actually always did a good job and you can't say anything against the beer, but unfortunately we had to realize that after a visit where everything tasted great, other less good experiences could also have been had. Unfortunately, how should I best describe it, it wasn't always consistently good, so we really had the feeling - it depends on the day and either you're lucky or you're not!

It's great that restaurants like this still exist! Tastes like nuts, very good dishes! Even at the neighboring tables we only heard praise!

Outstanding Bavarian, restaurants, one of my favorites in Munich. The food and the beer is great, the service tends to be pretty good. Great for a night out with friends, informal, business meetings, or even a date.

The food is not bad, but nothing special either, home-style and perfectly fine. We wanted to make a reservation the evening before, but there was nothing left available, but we were told to come by anyway and a solution would be found. And that's how it was. We were placed in the small library, very romantic, just the two of us. That may not always be the right thing to do, you definitely go to the pub to socialize, but it was perfect for us that evening. “Our” waiter Cicio is an absolute highlight. Very accommodating and extremely friendly, he checked on us regularly at exactly the right intervals. We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful authentic german or, rather, Munich experience with plenty to pick on but wonderful if you choose to enjoy yourself rather than find faults. We focused on the pork dishes so I have no clue about the beef options and they may be even more flavourful. The charcuterie platter was quite alright, not much to write home about but quite decent and authentic. Works well as an appetizer. The pork knuckle was the weakest of the main dishes, a bit dry, not much crackling. Honest and quite flavorful, just not that exciting. The roast pork was amazing flavor wise with perfectly deep dark gravy and tender fall apart juicy meat with not a lot of fat. I would have loved to see a bit of crunchy crackling added but I was perfectly happy as is. The mountain schnitzel was also quite amazing. It basically has fried onions incorporated into the batter and it makes a huge difference and adds a ton of flavor. Would order it again in a heartbeat. The Augustiner beer was wonderful as usual and is certainly one of my favorites. We were also treated to a shot of beautiful not too sweet williams from a producer I'm not aware of but then I'm not really a williams specialist in any shape or form. The service was highly professional and courteous, never too friendly which I love. Yet the waiter was the one who treated us to the williams shots and never skipped a beat when we dropped one of the beer glasses on the floor. Excellent and deserving praise in all respects. Highly recommended.

A restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional Bavarian atmosphere. I was surprised at how quickly the food I ordered was served. I couldn't drink beer because I was driving, but I would definitely like to try beer next time.

Extremely traditional Bavarian inn with what feels like a 100-year-old, really darkened interior. Lovers of unupholstered wooden chairs will get their money's worth here. The menu (also available throughout the afternoon) corresponds to this in a positive way. We took the duck, deer ragout and pub goulash from the season ticket and were very satisfied. This was especially true for the final apricot dumplings. The service was fast and very accommodating in the fully occupied house. For thin guests, a warning is sometimes given about large portions. The price-performance ratio is significantly better than reasonable by Munich standards. Overall, a clear recommendation for lovers of Bavarian cuisine. A reservation is strongly recommended.

Went last year and then we didn't want to come back. Two weeks ago we had a Christmas party and I thought it was so good that I was there with my family in the afternoon. Duck was under the heat lamp for too long, but the rest. Food was absolutely good. The service was very inattentive and unfriendly. Gladly again, but only with a different waiter!

A visit to Munich and you always go to the Görreshof. Unfortunately, things get worse and worse and after 30 minutes of sitting, the main course arrived. When I go to a restaurant, I want to spend time comfortably and not leave in an hour. Too bad

The Augustiner beer was freshly tapped and tasted great as always, but the food was not freshly prepared. However, we arrived at half past three in the afternoon. Nevertheless, we expected better food and were unfortunately disappointed.

This is the perfect place for drinks and food just out of the main town. Everything is top notch.

The food (goulash, Wienerschnitzel, knuckle, Kaiserschmarren) was excellent and at reasonable prices. All that remains to be said is that there is Augustiner on tap.
