Café M in München

My colleagues and I have been coming here for lunch for years. First of all, I'd like to point out that the food here has been delicious and well-prepared ever since we started. However, the portions of the daily special have been consistently getting smaller and smaller since we started coming. Unfortunately, I have to say that one portion is no longer enough to fill you up, and in terms of value for money, Leo 170 is clearly losing out, as I can get a double portion of pasta at almost every Italian restaurant on Leopoldstraße for €1-2 more...

Pretty okay. The food is good, but the atmosphere is like an IKEA restaurant. By the way: There's only ONE Café M. And that's in Berlin Schöneberg.

Wow. How amazing is that... Meatless planters? Hello?? Planters without meat 🥩, is that even possible? Yes, it is. They can do it. I didn't miss the meat at all. Plus, great service, friendly staff, fair prices, a great atmosphere with a fantastic outdoor terrace. What more could you want?

hol mir oft mein Mittagessen - war bisher alles mega lecker, sehr zu empfehlen. Geht schnell, weil schon zubereitet, perfekt für die Mittagspause :)

Also den Salat mit bloßen Händen in den Teller zu servieren ist weder hygienisch noch sinnvoll wenn man direkt davor steht und es mitbekommt. Preis Leistung stimmt leider null. Das Konzept ist toll und lagetechnisch sehr gefragt aber nicht zu den Konditionen.

Der Name "Café M" ist etwas irreführend (sofern das M nicht für Mittelmaß steht)- Eher Kantinenatmosphäre, aber zum schnellen lunch bestimmt super👍 Generell gibt es in Schwabing wohl 1000 süßere, gemütlichere Cafés (mit freundlicher Bedienung, Kuchengabeln + Charme) 😉

I decided to check out Café M finally because Biccecletta is closed on Mondays! The cafe is targeted mainly at the lunch crowd and serves much heartier fare for the lunch menu. For 11.90€ you get to pick a really nice starter (e.g. grilled orange with fennel and burrata) a main course and a soft drink (0,5L! And good quality from Otto Pachmayr). It's a really good deal and the portion for the mains is generous. The concept is great for people who want to zip in and out for a quick meal. The interiors are bright and breezy and outdoor seating is perfect in good weather. They also have a great Kaffee and kuchen deal, especially when the cakes are of the same high standards across the Andaz F&B outlets. Unfortunately I was too stuffed from the lunch menu to still try to have coffee and cake.

Perfect place for a quick lunch break - 2 main courses to chose from, changed daily. Option to have a starter (salad), main course and a water for just 11,50€! Great food quality!
