Friendly staff, a lovely and varied menu, especially the delicious avocado toast. However, the fact that Darjeeling is the (only) black tea on offer is unacceptable!

I was here recently with some friends and the evening was fantastic, not least because of the very warm and efficient service! The cocktails were exceptionally delicious and always arrived very quickly! I also love the heart-shaped pizzas ❤️ The burgers were especially recommended.

We went to the café today and ordered a regular coffee, so we were quite surprised when it was served. The special thing about it: you can upload a personal photo directly from your phone, which is then printed onto the coffee foam. A brilliant idea! My boyfriend was absolutely thrilled. You really don't see something like that very often, and it shows how much creativity went into it. The coffee itself was also really good—creamy, aromatic, and perfectly blended. We'll definitely be back!

Hungry Heart is always worth a visit. The sandwiches are especially fantastic. They're always coming up with new and creative ideas, like this time they're printing pictures on your coffee. Just drop by, it's worth it! 🙏

Nice place, very tasty club sandwich. However, the service was severely lacking. There were at most six tables occupied, yet the server was barely visible. Initially, service was quick once we were shown to our table. However, after that, we were practically parched. We spent an hour trying to get the waitress with the bellboy head to come to us. She avoided the back corner of the restaurant the entire time and didn't even clear the empty tables. After we finally managed to get her to bring us the menu for drinks and dessert, she then disappeared again for another half hour. We ended up going to another restaurant. It's a real shame. A half-empty restaurant in Glockenbach is unacceptable. This is something they definitely need to improve.

I celebrated my birthday here and we had a really lovely time. The food was delicious, especially the French toast and the lemonades :). The service couldn't have been better; everyone was incredibly friendly and we had a nice, cozy table. If you're looking for a café for a birthday brunch, I highly recommend Hungriges Herz!

We waited a long time for our food and were all very disappointed. The bagels had hardly any flavor, and for that price, it's outrageous. The coffee was slightly bitter, and the strawberry lemonade tasted very artificial. What a shame :(

Clever burgers (note: not rustic American style) + great that they also offer individual pizza slices (e.g., for children), nice that they have a pizza day! Minor criticism: you're not asked how cooked you want your patty, and then (after a correspondingly long wait, presumably due to the patty being cooked so thoroughly) you get a well-done patty... Oh well... it still tasted good. Looking forward to next time.

Yesterday I got a pizza to go for the first time. I'm often in Italy and know what a good pizza is like. The small slice cost almost €5 and had no tomatoes, just greasy cheese on it. That's not worth it.

We visited Hungriger Herz today and were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious, especially the Baby Benedict. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere and interior design are simply enchanting; you immediately feel at home. We will definitely be back!

Perfect restaurant for a cozy Saturday brunch. Reservations in advance are not needed but I would definitely recommend doing it in advance since the place gets really crowded (specially on weekends). The food is absolutely delicious, specially the bagels and iced coffees. The portions are big and the food comes fast! Service is excellent and kind :) Really cute ambiance and decor, just a little bit loud but nothing that ruins the experience! Will definitely be coming back!

Our visit to "Hungry Heart" was unfortunately extremely disappointing. The prices were exorbitantly high, even by Munich standards. We had to wait over 40 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, the egg was far too raw—more than runny—which resulted in stomach aches for both me and my companion. The atmosphere was extremely loud, making conversation nearly impossible, and we were seated at a much too small table, which further complicated the experience. However, the waiter was particularly unpleasant: When we wanted to pay by card and hadn't left a tip, he very rudely and visibly angrily asked why we weren't leaving one. He emphasized that he "lives off tips." I find it outrageous to ask guests about not leaving a tip. Tipping isn't obligatory, and I certainly don't give tips when I feel pressured to do so. The way the waiter handled it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall, we left with a very bad feeling, and our first day in Munich was greatly marred as a result.

Went for a girls dinner and loved the place as soon as I went in. The atmosphere was really nice and loved loved loved our waitress Isi. Seriously the best service ive gotten since moving here 3 years ago. She was so so sweet. Thank you so much Isi and will be coming back soon ^_^

We regularly visit Hungriges Herz as a large group. Isi, our waitress last Thursday, was incredibly courteous and attentive. But all the staff are always super friendly and helpful, and some even remembered our "usual" orders. I highly recommend it 😊

We went for breakfast this morning, but unfortunately, we had to wait a bit because our table wasn't ready yet. To help pass the time, the very competent waiter offered us a drink. We were then given a small table in the middle of the aisle, but as soon as one became available, we were offered a better table by the window. I haven't experienced such great service in a long time! The food (I had Eggs Royale) arrived quickly and was delicious; the hollandaise sauce was definitely freshly made and simply fantastic. All in all, it was a perfect start to our Sunday, and I really can't complain about the value for money. We will definitely be back!

I haven't been back to Hungry Heart since the renovation. The dining area is really beautiful now. It's bright and decorated with lots of plants. I used to get a pizza to go there every now and then. I can definitely recommend the pizza. My only complaint is that they don't have anchovies :). Today we went there during our lunch break and I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Very good, with ketchup and mayo included. Super tasty fries and incredibly fresh lettuce on the burger. The patty is from a young bull, but they also offer vegan burgers. The service staff was also exceptionally friendly. From Tuesday to Thursday, they always have discounted pasta, pizza, and burgers. Just drop by, it's worth it.

I love Hungry Heart. Since my favorite meal of the day is breakfast, the all-day breakfast at Hungry Heart is perfect for me. Plus, great coffee. What more could you want?

I had an acai and mango bowl. Taste-wise, I've definitely had much better bowls. It really wasn't anything special. The ambiance, however, was very nice.

Cosy atmosphere and goof service:)

2 of us walked in without a reservation and we were met with rude staff. A man asked us if we had a reservation and when we said no, he shook his head at us and scoffed. We don’t mind waiting, especially during busy periods, but as customers we don’t expect to be scoffed at and treated like school children. The place is very nicely decorated, and the man who served us our food was lovely and very welcoming, but the man at front of house (who seemed to be a manager) set a very bad tone for our visit. Food was okay.

I had French toast. The menu said "French toast with fruit." Five blueberries and a half strawberry are more of a fruit decoration than "French toast with fruit." Besides, the brioche was a cube of dough. I can't understand why they don't make toast when it's called French toast.

Service was friendly; we had two drinks to go. Unfortunately, the chai latte only tasted of milk and cinnamon. And we found a small cappuccino with oat milk for €4 to be massively overpriced. What a shame!

We were there for the first time on Saturday, and what can we say? We were thrilled. Astrid, our server, handled everything with a smile and a sense of humor. Reservations are essential. The breakfast was truly delicious: 3 Healthy Hipsters + extra bacon, plentiful and very good. Thanks also to the kitchen. We felt very comfortable and will be back. The only thing was the many thick pillows on the sofa, which made it a bit cramped, but that's high-level criticism. Because it's about the food, the service, and the quality; THAT was top-notch. And then there's the ambiance, because you can put the pillows away...😀

Nice, relaxed atmosphere; we sat on a couch in the back, where it's a bit quieter. The food was great because the height was right, and it was very comfortable the whole evening. The service was very friendly, and the drinks came quickly. We ordered burgers (it was Burger Day with a 20% discount on all burgers), and they asked if they wanted them medium or well done—you don't get asked that often. Unfortunately, the burgers turned out to be well done instead of medium, which was a bit of a shame because I found them too dry. However, they kindly accommodated special topping requests without any problems. We ordered fries with them; the portion was so large that two people could easily share them if everyone ate a burger. The fries were also excellent, very crispy, kind of like scoop fries. I would come again. Located right next to the Fraunhoferstrasse subway exit.

The decor is really pretty, and the service is super friendly and attentive. The portions are decent for the price. Unfortunately, the small space gets noisy quickly, and there are no high chairs, so the little ones are constantly running around.
