“It has to come from the heart, what should have an effect on the heart”... if you have such a quote from Goethe on your website, you should perhaps also train your staff in customer friendliness and service, so that you as a guest also get the feeling... it comes from the heart. Being insulted by the waiter because you chose a table yourself and then not being served... unfortunately just reflects another piece of service desert. Unfortunately I can't judge the food and drinks... it didn't get that far.

Service was so unfriendly and rude that we left without ordering anything! Apparently there is no need to treat your guests decently here!

Their french toast is really nice and delicious! Iced coffee was a bit bland for me considering I don’t like bitter coffee. I hope you use better ingredients for some, with the ham or cheese, it had the potential.

Very tasty food, had the French toast filled with strawberry jam :) We didn't have to wait long and the portions are also very large. There are even gluten-free alternatives. Therefore highly recommended

Every time we are in Munich, the Hungry Heart is a must go. The food is super tasty and the service is very, very warm. (There are enough for veggies too😉) Next time we're here, we'll definitely come back!😊

Simply always delicious. You can have a particularly good breakfast here. It's best to reserve a spot, especially on weekends it's always full. I especially love the pancakes :) The prices are a bit high. So if you're looking for a simple, cheap breakfast, you've come to the wrong place. The staff is always very friendly. Unfortunately, the seating is a bit tight, but everything is lovingly and beautifully furnished. Unfortunately, I lack a wardrobe, especially in winter. All in all, I've been enjoying breakfast here for several years and am happy to recommend Hungry Heart to others.

After you first have to wait 10 minutes at a counter to be assigned a table while 2 employees mix cocktails in front of you, you have to wait another 10 minutes for your drink order. By the way, the waiter also corrects you on the names of the dishes in the most unfriendly manner, before refusing to take your order. Unfortunately, our burger for €15 didn't even have a salad or even a hint of a side dish. We were also given the wrong order. But the highlight of the visit was the bill. If you want to leave the restaurant without being insulted, you have to tip at least 10%, which I didn't understand due to the poor service. I was then asked if the food was bad, I answered "No" because the food was still good. The waiter then said quietly, “Impudence.” Actually a place with potential, but I refuse to eat here again with such incredibly substandard service. Every snack bar has better service.

We recently wanted to buy cocktails to go. But we didn't make it because of the dirt behind bar. The rude barman drank beer and filled the glasses with ice cream and fruit with his dirty hands. We were outraged about it. I don't recommend it.

The atmosphere is nice relax, staff is friendly and helpful. We come there to write in group for 2-3 hours twice a week and we are very grateful to them for letting us organize that in their restaurant.

The service is very attentive and friendly, the food is good, but nothing exceptional. The bagels were okay, but what I can highly recommend is the avocado bread option with a small bowl of your choice. You can have something sweet and savory at brunch without having to order two dishes.

Small, fine bistro/restaurant near the German Museum. There is tasty food at fairly reasonable prices, including a larger selection of pizzas (- there's even one in the shape of a heart!). The staff is friendly and orders are taken and fulfilled in a timely manner. Good for a breather with a delicious stomach filling.

The pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, I didn't have to wait long for the pizza. The service was also very friendly. The restaurant/caffè is highly recommended. I will definitely go there again.

Short and sweet: Best place for us for brunch. The bread and all the ingredients were fresh. The waitresses are all warm and on point. Food also came very quickly. As soon as we are back in Munich, a table will be reserved here again.

You feel comfortable here! Make a reservation urgently :) We were there for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, the menu really leaves nothing to be desired, all dishes can be individually adapted. Drinks very lovingly designed & super refreshing! The service is extremely quick and courteous, the staff seemed like they all really enjoyed working there, even though it was really busy! A big thank you to Thomas, who does a really great job! & to Laura - incredibly hospitable! Thanks! Well structured! Even though there was so much going on, we had all our drinks and food after a very short time, really great! Toilets super clean, in the hallway with a “foto spot” a’la Instagram. We recommend!

I’ve eaten here once and it was Ok, but most of the staff are completely uninterested and extremely rude if you don’t speak German or have a question about the menu.

Had brunch there on Sunday at 1 p.m., called shortly before and asked if it would be possible to come over spontaneously. Staff on the phone very friendly. Breakfast/brunch was quite tasty, although in the higher price range. In my opinion not 100% justified. The dishes are presented on the plate in a typically “instagrammable” way. The lemonade and iced teas are not sugared or sweetened, you have to like them. Service was nice and also responded to special requests, although the staff was a bit abrupt, which could also have been due to the time. The atmosphere was very nice and the seating was comfortable. Nothing to add.

Despite the thunderstorm and then a lot of people suddenly becoming hungry, the boys remained attentive, polite and nice. Thank you for the kitchen, the food was delicious and plentiful. Good choice for a date, a celebration, or just for a nonsense/gossip party. Simply to feel good! We'll definitely come back.

The restaurant is very easy to reach by public transport. The staff is very attentive and friendly. There is a wide variety of food on offer. We had the bagel and the club sandwich once, both of which were delicious. I think the price is reasonable because you get a large portion. What struck me particularly positively was the service, which was incredibly attentive. The wait for the food was short. I would recommend everyone to eat there. I will definitely come again.

Weekend is brunch time? The café is usually very crowded, so you definitely need a reservation, but it is right next to the subway, easy to get to and after coffee and brunch you can go straight to the Isar for a walk. The interior is decorated super cool, but it is very loud and the tables are very narrow. There are also places to sit outside the café. The menu is very wide ranging from sweet pancakes (vegan options also available) to filled bagels. My bagel with grilled chicken and guacamole was good, but didn't blow me away. All in all, cool location, cool spot, definitely worth a quick stop!

In itself a nice location in a good location. The food was good and reasonably priced. The music was a bit loud and it was a bit cramped in the restaurant, but the service was very friendly.

The three of us met up with my friends. One of the girls had found the cafe. I was there before them and had time to enjoy the ambience 😍 beautifully decorated. Everyone was very friendly and very organized. In addition to the incredibly friendly service, it is by far one of the tastiest places to go when it comes to a very good breakfast. Not only is the eye satisfied here, the combination of the very good ingredients and the composition of them are almost incomparable. Only the immediate proximity to the main street is a minimal negative point, which you honestly forgot after the first 2 minutes. Be sure to reserve in advance!
