Since I wanted to start my sister's bachelorette party with an extensive brunch, I was looking for a restaurant that wouldn't throw us out after 1 1/2 hours. Unfortunately, this didn't seem possible in most locations. However, when I asked at the Hungry Heart, I was told that, since it was a Friday, they would be happy to make the table available to us beyond that. My request as to whether it would be possible to arrive earlier and decorate the tables myself was no problem at all. When I got there we had a long table in the corner of the restaurant, just as I imagined. The waiter was very friendly and offered me something to drink while I was preparing. We had the same waiter later on, who was attentive and quick. The selection of food and drinks was very large and everything we ordered was delicious. We didn't have to wait long. I have nothing to complain about our visit and am grateful that everything went smoothly and we were treated to a lovely morning.

We had a Saturday snack here. The menu is very suitable for a relaxed brunch with friends, everything from pancakes to burgers. Friendly and attentive service, nice atmosphere.

I've been to the restaurant several times now, so I can assess how it affects me. It seems to be a pretty trendy restaurant these days. The clientele is mostly in their mid-20s. The food is perfectly fine, but not impressively good. Solid standard. What I personally find disappointing is the abysmal service. When you arrive at the restaurant, you're usually not greeted or only greeted very late, even though the staff is standing in front of you. Recently, I had a reservation. My companion was already there under my reservation, which I didn't know. However, the waiter still seated me at a different table. After five minutes, I realized that my companion was already seated further back. Very well done. Once you've finished eating or drinking, the tables are usually cleared very late or not at all. I've always had to put my empty glass or empty plates on the next table. Even if you sit there for 60 minutes, the waiter never once asks if you'd like another drink. Even after the waiter had cleared the table, there was no question. Finally, there's no goodbye when you leave the restaurant, even though there are always staff at the bar right by the entrance. The ambiance is okay, and as a Munich resident, you're used to poor or no service. That's why I'll keep coming back.

The porridge bowl was super tasty and really filling! Although it was full all the time (Sunday midday to afternoon), the volume was very okay and we were served quickly and in a very friendly manner!

You really have to say: DESPITE the good location, it's really excellent! Unfortunately, this is not a given in M. Super attentive service, as a guest with a dog I got a quiet table and water was brought for the dog. The price of the food was very fair for Munich and the quality was top! Price-performance ratio is right, the atmosphere is chic and chilled - a real recommendation! 🙂

You can have a delicious breakfast or a very good dinner, the pizzas and drinks are really recommended. The staff is super nice and the atmosphere is very nice. You feel really comfortable and we always enjoy going there.

Very tasty lunch pizza for €9.90 - friendly service and nice atmosphere.

We were there in the afternoon and from what I hear it is always very busy on the weekend. I had pancakes and they were fluffy, but a little more berry compote would have been good. My friend had the bacon version. She also thought it was delicious, but please don't put any more powdered sugar over the bacon, the combination doesn't work. Cappuccino was good. When it came to hungry heart tea, my friend had the feeling that sugar was added unnecessarily. Nowadays people simply want sugar-free alternatives. If it's too spicy, just offer honey and everyone can sweeten it themselves. The ambience is nice and the service is great despite the stress.

Super delicious pizza! Upon request (1 euro surcharge), the pizzas are also available in a heart shape. During my visit I ordered a pizza bufala. The ratio of tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella and pizza dough was just perfect. The selection of spritzers is also large. Totally lovely service and reception. I felt very welcome and comfortable here and would love to come back.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und uns hats super gefallen. Tolles Essen, super schöne Location und freundlicher Service. Leider ist es bei vollem Haus echt grenzwertig. Vielleicht könnte man da mit Schallkonzept es etwas angenehmer gestalten. Wir werden eher in Nebenzeiten hingehen.

Food was ok - but if the service isn't right, it doesn't taste good anymore. Plates and glasses were cleared away without comment immediately after we finished eating, without us being asked whether we wanted to drink anything else or have dessert.

I love this place! The food is amazing; I tried the pancakes and they are fluffy and not too sweet. The branding that they have is super nice, even with a chocolate heart that they give you with the coffee. Well-decorated and with a very nice service. 10/10!

Stilvolles Ambiente, super Essen und Getränke. Freundliche Bedienung. Die Speisekarte hat für jede Tageszeit das Richtige für jedermanns Wünsche zu bieten. Die Portionen sind groß und die Preise wirklich völlig in Ordnung. Es kann etwas lauter und lebhafter zugehen :)

The shop is very nicely decorated. You immediately feel very comfortable. Service is just as good I just think the prices are a bit exaggerated... But that's probably a matter of opinion.

You won’t be placed a Sunday morning if you don’t have a reservation, even if a table is free. The staff didn’t give any alternative recommandation or didn’t try to find a solution, even though we were okay with waiting a bit until a table cleared. Glad to know they have enough success to refuse customers, says a lot about the experience and food we would have had, will not come back and will not recommend. Many better places in Munich to eat.

The location is centrally located in the immediate vicinity of a tram station and is therefore very easy to reach. We spontaneously walked by and were immediately approached by the pizza slices to take away. These are fairly priced, relatively large and taste good - although they were a little underheated for my taste. The location itself is attractively designed and the staff is extremely friendly.

Wow. Our first breakfast place since landing in Munich and it’s a smash hit! The server is soooo kind! She’s running the whole floor by herself and is being so generous to us English speakers. Now the food is on another level. Beyond delicious. Everything taste homemade. All portions are huge and I’ve never had such perfectly crispy bacon before. And I’m from New Orleans so that’s saying something. This would be a staple if I lived here! We ate too fast so I forgot to take a picture 😭

We came for breakfast at 9:30 in the morning. We were able to make reservations quickly and easily via OpenTable. They have a large selection of breakfasts and very tasty hot drinks. After a small complaint from “Baby Benedict”, I was immediately offered a new dish, thank you very much! Great service, nice and quick. The breakfast was super delicious, tasted great! If you want to enjoy a relaxed breakfast in a great, modern atmosphere, this is the right place!

Unbedingt reservieren aber sonst alles super! Deftiges und süßes Essen waren sehr lecker und Limonaden etc. ebenfalls. Die Baristas und Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich :) Immer einen Besuch wert!

Tolles Essen, große Portionen. Unbedingt reservieren, der Laden war brechend voll. Der Lärmpegel ist dementsprechend, hat uns nicht gestört. Personal sehr freundlich und schnell.

Für die Qualität, die hier geboten wird, sind die Preise mehr als fair. Die Speisekarte überzeugt mit einer Auswahl an kreativen und liebevoll zubereiteten Gerichten, bei denen man die Frische der Zutaten förmlich schmeckt. Jeder Bissen zeugt von der Leidenschaft des Küchenteams, das es versteht, die Aromen perfekt aufeinander abzustimmen. Egal ob Vorspeise, Hauptgang oder Dessert – jedes Gericht ist eine kleine kulinarische Reise für sich. Auch der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Bedienung war unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Man spürt, dass das Wohl der Gäste hier an erster Stelle steht. Sonderwünsche wurden mit einem Lächeln erfüllt und die Empfehlungen der Kellnerin waren nicht nur ehrlich, sondern auch genau richtig. Insgesamt kann ich das „Hungrige Herz“ wärmstens empfehlen. Wer exzellentes Essen, einen aufmerksamen Service und eine ruhige, gemütliche Atmosphäre sucht, wird hier auf seine Kosten kommen. Ein Lokal, das man gerne wieder besucht!
