Whenever I'm in the mood for a burger in Munich, I always go here. The meat is fresh and can therefore be cooked medium, which simply tastes better and is juicier. The sauces and fries are also delicious.

Whenever I'm in Munich with my friends, we always end up going here. The food is consistently very good and always arrives very quickly. The prices are also reasonable.

Super friendly and attentive staff. 90s music 🙌🏼 not too loud, you can still have a good conversation. One person likes to sing along, which is a great way to listen. It contributes to the good vibe. The food was great, just how a burger should be. The ambiance, atmosphere, food, and drinks were all excellent 👍🏼 I highly recommend it.

Came here for lunch and got a giggly smash burger menu for €14.90 which includes fries and a drink. Not too bad. Flavor of the burger was not bad but considering it's a smash burger I was surprised that there was no crunch at all. Bit disappointing. The fries were nice and crispy though. Overall good spot for a burger.

Good for a quick burger We went to this restaurant for a quick burger for lunch, and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. We had a cheeseburger and a ruff's burger, both of which were very good. The signature dish is the fries served with pulled pork, which are truly excellent. So if you're looking for a quick, affordable lunch without having to spend a lot, this is the place for you.

The guy at the cash register was very rude. He didn't let us use the bathroom, then he didn't want to hear our order through Google Translate, regardless of whether we spoke German or English, and he didn't want to read what the phone had translated. No empathy, that's not how you treat customers.

Hi there, I’m writing this review because I actually eat here at least once a month and I’ve always really liked Ruffs Burger. Even though there’s now a lot of competition around McDonald’s, Burgermeister, and Hamburgerrei across the street I always come back here. I usually order the same thing every time: the chicken burger with fries. It’s always been really good, and I wouldn’t change it for anything. Today, however, it was different. The burger tasted strange, almost a bit undercooked, so after two bites I stopped eating it and just had the fries. I mentioned it politely to the staff, and they were very nice, but they explained that they had changed the chicken, and that it now stays like this even if fried longer. They said other people had mentioned the same thing, but that this is just how the chicken is now. Honestly, I expected maybe they would offer me a new burger, an alternative, or at least some kind of gesture. Even something as small as offering me a cookie would have made me feel better because otherwise, I basically paid for a problem. I sat there eating, thinking my burger was undercooked, and only after I brought it up was I told, “oh, we changed the chicken, that’s just how it is now.” I feel like this is something that should be explained upfront, instead of letting customers pay full price, try to eat something they think might not even be cooked properly even if it is, and then just be told “sorry, that’s the way it is.” That left me feeling really unsettled. I’m not the kind of person who insists on a refund or demands compensation, but in this case it almost felt like it was my fault for not knowing they had changed the chicken when really, nobody informed me. And yes, I know it’s “just a burger,” and maybe it sounds superficial, but the truth is not everyone has money to waste. As a student, I don’t always have €14–15 to spend easily, but I make the effort because I like treating myself once in a while. So it feels unfair to pay for something I couldn’t eat, and just be sent home with a “sorry, that’s how it is.” I don’t want to speak badly about Ruffs Burger I’ve always liked it and recommended it! But this time I left honestly disappointed and confused. With all the competition around, I think it would make a big difference to show a little more care for customers in situations like this…

Below average, the chicken is undercooked and I contacted them and they said that this is the standard (God bless the blessing). The meat is very average, and the potatoes are very, very full of oils and you cannot eat them.

The restaurant is not halal. The employee informed us that all meat is grilled in the same place.

The waiter was really unfriendly and ignored us. He didn't clear the table, didn't bring the menu, or took our order. He even walked past me, and even then I asked him if we could order.

Seriously, one of the best burgers I've ever had!! And I come from the land of burgers, and this totally won me over. I got the basic burger with fry sauce and it was magical. Juicy, flavorful, and hot, with an absolutely delicious bun. The fries were equally as tasty. Next time I would skip the rhubarb gespritz, not a fan, and stick with the apple instead, but everything else is awesome!!! The place was hopping, but the staff was attentive and really working hard. Such a great experience I highly recommend!!

Good atmosphere, delicious burgers. I've been there a few times with my friends, and we've been very satisfied every time. We tried the BBQ burger and the truffle burger – both were delicious. You can also order fries with two free sauces. If I remember correctly, we had homemade lemonade to drink, which was also delicious. The food was prepared quickly. Seating is available inside and outside. Great location and really friendly service. Thank you!

Cold food and a bit expensive with the quality of food. The waiter was cold and felt like he just want to kick us out asap so he could end his day.

Great burgers and fries near Münchner Freiheit. We had the blue cheese burger and the Mexican fries, both very tasty. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The service at the counter was very attentive. There seem to be a few burger restaurants in the area, and this one gets a definite recommendation. Thank you very much.

Ruff’s burger is now a popular chain of burger restaurants with serveral locations across the Munich Area. On this occasion we visited the one in Occamstrasse just down from Munchner Freiheit, which is nestled in the charming and vibrant Maxvorstadt neighborhood. We decided to try the BBQ Plate which contained BBQ chicken wings and Ribs, garlic bread, coleslaw and fries which you can “pimp” all for 24 euros. We could have shared but we ordered one each along with a garlic fries and truffle fries. It was an impressive spread served with a tangy housemade BBQ sauce. Everything was tasty for me the chicken wings being the highlight especially with the BBQ sauce. The pimped fries, these weren't your ordinary fries - thick-cut potatoes perfectly fried and then generously topped with truffle oil, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs. The aroma alone was worth the price! The truffle wasn't overpowering but added that distinctive earthy luxury, while the garlic provided a punchy contrast. The restaurant features a modern yet casual décor with wooden tables and industrial-style lighting. Though compact, the space feels welcoming and buzzes with energy, especially during peak hours. There's also a small outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying your meal on warm days. It was also clean and well maintained. Beyond beef burgers, Ruff's offers chicken options, vegetarian burgers, and even vegan alternatives. They have interesting specialty burgers with unique toppings and flavor combinations for the more adventurous eaters. The staff was friendly and efficient, taking orders promptly despite the busy environment. Food came out reasonably quickly considering everything is made fresh to order. Ordering with uber eats. Time estimates was 45-61 minutes until the 61 mins passed. Now they moved it to 90 mins. It’s uncool. Uber driver and me have been waiting for their food being finished for 20 mins now. The burger arrived at 85mins, no surprise it was cold. The sweet potatoe fries were not good to eat anymore. Also they missed my BBQ sauce, and I even made a mistake as I didn’t see I could choose 2 sauces. So I ended up paying 1€ extra for my second sauce. I feel they could have put in the one sauce I really wanted and one extra. In the end the restaurant had a promotion, 2 for 1 cheeseburgers. They were really really good. And they kept to my notes about how I wanted the patty. 👍 The unrealistic wait time for the driver and me was bad. And the missed sauce with the cold sweet potatoes a bit disappointing. Overall 3. Just keep a realistic time line and it would have been 4.

Terrible service. They refused to attend to our table for 1.5hrs. We all had watered down drinks, and couldn’t get another drink as they avoided us, then tried to bribe us with Brownie/coffee for a good review. Disgraceful!

Ruff's Burger Regensburg Also delivers in Regensburg Ruffs Burgers the usual quality! The service was friendly and asked several times if everything was okay! Given the prices, the local one Fast food chains for Premium burgers are the prices completely justified at Ruffs.

On January 31, 2024, I visited RUFF'S BURGER on Occamstrasse, Munich for the second time. After the experience from the first visit (see pictures), I ordered my burger without sauces and greens the second time (a meat burger, so to speak)... €8.90 for a reasonably sized burger patty with a bun without anything else is quite a stretch. The bun was again very bland, so I skipped it altogether. The best part is and remains the fries for €4.70. Unfortunately, the portion size is significantly smaller than a senior citizen's plate. For fans of a well-made burger with fries, the price-performance ratio isn't enough. It's a shame. Not worth a visit for me in its current form. But fortunately, tastes differ, and there's no accounting for taste... ME Economist (Retired) PS: As always, a note to my fellow disabled friends... Today we did the B test! The food was excellent, nothing to complain about. As for the service, the operations manager or restaurant manager could use some training in how to deal with guests!!! 1. Incident on Tuesday evening. A pensioner bought a burger from the order shop and then, since he was no longer able to walk well, wanted to eat it outside. But he was asked to leave his seat in a very, very unfriendly manner. With the reference to the VAT? The dear Ruffs Burger could have been handled much more elegantly! It wasn't a beggar or a peddler, and even they are expected to show respect and decency! 2. This time with four people, the restaurant manager with a beard was present and generally treated the restaurant patrons quite rudely! We were sitting against the wall outside and wanted to move to a table that hadn't been reserved. So we politely asked the young lady, who passed our request on to the RL. He didn't even wait until the two were inside the restaurant, but instead, the young waitress was very brusque, clearly not caring whether the guests noticed! In fact, I've rarely encountered such arrogance! Ultimately, guests come to Ruffs for the good food and not for the miserable management of the RL, who always stands at the door like a pedant, pulling a face as if everything is too much for him and doesn't care! When you want to reorder something, you inevitably get the feeling that he'd rather work in a barracks than serve guests. The same goes for paying; we always tip because two of the guests work in the restaurant themselves, but this time there was none!!!! I hope the management explains to this young man what customer service means and how to deal with older people; after all, he's getting older too! No matter how good the burger and the atmosphere are, if you have someone at the front who doesn't want to be there!!!!! Even in times of staff shortages, this is completely unacceptable! PS: I go to Rindermarkt very often, and I've never been treated as unfriendly there as I was in Schwabing!!!

I honestly don’t understand how this is a 4.5 restaurant. Taste was okay, too fatty for me but I don’t complain. But the staff was super rude. We came here to eat and have a few drinks, instead we quickly finished our food and left.

Burgers and fries are delicious I'd come back time and time again for the food alone however the service from one of the restaurant staff was TERRIBLE, we ordered from the take away then preceeded to sit directly outside of it on a FREE table with no one sat at it after having spent 150+ Euros having a great time! Then one of the staff from the main restaurant demanded we leave as we hadn't 'paid' enough vs other customers in the same vicinity! Bar thay one little ver rude guy the rest of the team keep up the amazing work you are all doing! Your food is fantastic and this one guy needs firing :) Other than him we had a fantastic meal and time dining with you :)
