Ruff's Burger Marienplatz in München

This is my favourite Ruff’s in Munich, however on weekdays there’s a guy who cooks the burgers who’s just really lazy. He smashes the burgers down way too much and I just ordered a regular burger. Something I used to love about Ruffs is the way the burgers are thick and the meat quality is really good but when you smash them down, it just ruins the flavour and the experience. They also switched from regular bright green beautiful lettuce to shredded which seems cheap to me… yikes. So all of these photos are a lie they don’t put regular lettuce on the burgers anymore.

Terrible restaurant. They hired lawyers to take down my original review which was a fair review. Food is gross, not allowed to edit your order. And when you post a review online they hire a team of lawyers to take it down. I’ll see you guys in court :)

The taste of the Smashburger was really excellent – ​​juicy, well-fried and with great flavors. BUT: Something was wrong with the salt content. Where did that come from? No idea! But there was definitely too much salt. Not inedible, but it spoiled the perfect enjoyment a little. The Belgian fries for that? 1A! Perfectly seasoned, just the right amount of salt – just great!

I was sitting in the cold outside the store with a lot of luggage and needed to kill some time. One of the employees brought me a portion of fries to combat the cold. A little kindness and warmth on a cold evening. 5 stars for the delicious fries and the friendly staff.

This restaurant has too few places for its popularity. Otherwise, the burgers are very very good.

The burgers are delicious, whether chicken or beef. Only the quantity is a bit small. I guess it's the bun, it basically disappears in your mouth :) The onion rings were also good, but I was a bit disappointed with the fries as some were fried quite brown; Keyword acrylamide. The shop is small and has hardly any seating

Staff were helpful, there was no line on Saturday night. We ordered truffled beef burger and hot N spicy chicken burger. They were delicious and fries was good Would recommend

I had a simple lunch, but the patty might have been a little salty. However, it goes well with bread, and if you eat it with sweet potato fries, it becomes sweet and salty haha. There are no seats, but the turnover rate is fast, so if you stand and eat, you will quickly find a seat! I recommend it~☺️

Crazy Burger in the middle of Munich! Ordering went smoothly and quickly, there was still a seat in the small restaurant and great sweet potato fries. Burger was outstanding and the price was totally in the green. Big recommendation from me.

Small, welcoming and very central place, very close to Marienplatz. Truly divine burgers, impeccably cooked meat. Delicious potatoes. The guys speak English very well and are very kind.

The burger and fries are delicious! We were starving and the food was ready within 5 minutes. Loved the smoky bbq sauce and pickles in the burger. Luckily got a table outside but I can imagine it gets really busy here. Loved it

We went on the recommendation of an acquaintance and fortunately the experience was very good. We ordered burgers that were very good in flavor and size, we also ordered fries that were surprisingly very well done. The service was friendly and fast. The prices were correct. It is a small but well decorated place, especially the bathroom which I loved, there is the option to eat inside or outside. Still, it is a place to eat and leave immediately, it is not made for long periods of time. I will return at some point to try something different.

The experience of getting inside after it was freezing outside was excellent. This place had the best burger ive eaten. i am a tourist so i dont know german but the service was super helpful. they had some nice music. Excellent experience

I couldn't see anything special about him. Would it be an exaggeration if I said that the burger I had at Burger the next day was better? Meat is a separate issue, but I wish the bread was better too. For example, they make sesame bread in Turkey, I love it.

Very good hamburgers that you can personalise if you don’t want some ingredients or you want to add extra. Juicy, tasty, quick and very good price. Inside is small and you can only sit at the bar, but the turnover is quick and you can always have a sit at the small terrace.

A friend and I wanted to stop by there for a “snack” and each ordered a burger. Both tasted very fresh and extremely tasty. We can highly recommend it. We were particularly impressed by the very nice and customer-friendly lady at the checkout. We felt very comfortable and we really enjoyed eating our burgers there. We'll be back! :) Best regards

Hamburger shop in Munich's main square (Marienplatz). The quality of the burgers is absolutely top notch. The meat was very good and the sandwich combinations were very varied and well balanced. A positive note also for the french fries, absolutely recommended. The place is basically for take-aways, with some seating on stools. Advised!

Truly delicious burgers and fries. Not cheap but very reasonable for the portion sizes! The servers were very friendly and on the ball. Only not a 5 Star because we found the music loud and overwhelming which forces you to shout 😅

I absolutely loved the burger restaurant! The burger was juicy, perfectly grilled and the combination of fresh ingredients worked great. The side dishes were also excellent - crispy fries that were seasoned to perfection. Super beef and chicken burger.. a restaurant I highly recommend

It's pretty cramped here, with few seats inside and only two "beer tables" outside, which makes it feel more like a snack bar. The burger itself tasted really good and was prepared quickly. Despite the simple ambience, it's a good choice for a quick, tasty snack. Recommended if you like things uncomplicated!

We spontaneously came over for lunch. Ordering was very easy via touchscreen. Reasonably priced, good offer, not too much. The food tasted excellent, the waiting time was short and the staff was very friendly. Points deducted for the ambience and the unfortunately limited space. We'd love to come back.

One of the best burger I’ve had since my arrival to Germany!

The place doesn't invite you to stay for a long time, it's more to go. I had the regular smash burger (2 patties) which was topped with pickles, cheese and red onions + sauce. I just missed lettuce and tomatoes, but I think they also had vegetables. The bun was a little too mushy for me. Unfortunately, the Sweet Honey Mustard sauce wasn't my thing for the fries as it was too bitter afterwards. The honey to mustard ratio wasn't right. Otherwise you got your burger relatively quickly. The sauces for the fries were packaged in plastic bowls, even if you ate there. I found that a bit of a shame. But all in all a good burger.

The first time I tried the Smash Burger, unfortunately I didn't like it that much...it just wasn't my taste. But Ruff's Citizen has other delicious citizens that I like more. The fries were crispy as always. As always, the staff was friendly and worked quickly. You really can't go wrong here
