There were 6 of us and everyone was satisfied, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

I think it couldn't be more Franconian in the heart of the beautiful city of Nuremberg! The ratio of price to what is on offer is great, the food is, in contrast to the price, lavish! 😊In terms of taste and quantity!

It's so delicious and relatively cheap. I highly recommend it. 2 menu items and 2 drinks cost about 37 euros. He said he didn't need a tip so I just gave him 10%.

Nice beer garden in the middle of the old town. We have the bratwurst that came with potatoes and white asparagus in a hollandaise sauce. Sausages were great, potatoes I would leave next time, asparagus tasty, as was the house red beer.

While passing by, we asked about a restaurant and they suggested this one. We arrived late for lunch but they found us a table straight away. The food is good, the place is also pleasant and seems to be very popular with tourists... however, I would point out as a negative aspect the lack of friendliness of the staff who served us.

It was a very warm evening, so we looked for a place outside. A table for 4 was free, but a lady said there was nothing available for 2 people. Therefore only 4 stars because the very friendly host “Michi” made it possible. The food was great and the light house brewer beer was a dream. We would love to come back

Very good beer, a Weizen and a half liter Schwarze only €4.30 Exceptional food, typical dish (€18.80) Schaufele (pork shoulder) with potatoes & sauerkraut, but they kindly changed it to a mixed salad without extra charge and a Cordon Blue (€16.80) with potato salad. Everything was delicious and plentifully priced. Very kind and witty staff. Immediately below the castle, a truly exceptional place. €44.30 total

Traditional cuisine can be found in this restaurant near the castle. The ambience is very cosy and it did not feel touristy. I ordered the pork shoulder, which was cooked perfectly, although in my opinion the meat below the crusty fat was a bit bland.The potato dumplings and the meat juice were very good. Friendly service.

Five of us had made a reservation at the Hütt'n yesterday evening with our visitor from Switzerland and the outside area was packed. As always, the food was delicious, but what stands out is the service. They have it completely under control, are friendly and quick. The drinks will be at the table in a few minutes. I haven't experienced anything so professional in a long time. Thank you very much, unfortunately I don't know the name of the lady who served us, but the guys were also great and always responsive.

We visited this restaurant on April 13 and with the wonderful weather we ate on the terrace. We didn't reserve but being a couple they made room for us. We ordered a red beer, typical of the area, and a dunkel. I'll stick with the dunkel. We only ordered two dishes, which can be seen in the photo: - 6 Original Nürnberger Bratwürste -> 6 small sausages typical of Nuremberg. - Fränkisches Schäufele mit knuspriger Kruste -> part of the pork shoulder with a super crispy crust is so delicious that it has to be a crime. The sausages are nothing out of this world, but the shoulder is very filling and between the two dishes we end up satisfied and with energy to continue exploring the city. The round thing is called "Kartoffelknödel" and it is a potato dumpling. It was the first time we ate it but later they served it to us in many other restaurants as an accompaniment to pork knuckle and other meats. I liked it but it has a different texture. I give 3 points to the service for the custom of the client preparing the table and taking the cutlery and napkins from a table. Very typical but... The 4 things we asked for about 37 €uros

We stopped at the restaurant after a tour of the city. It was very full but the staff were still able to organize a table for us, thank you for that. The beer was delicious as was the food. My conclusion is that you can stop in and end the day without any concerns.

We had made a reservation for inside, but since the weather was great we spontaneously got a table outside, with a wonderful view of the castle. Very good selection of beer and typical local dishes. The food was okay, not great but good. The service was quick and very good! Overall, you can certainly eat better somewhere in Nuremberg, but the overall package was worth repeating!

Nice, traditional franconian tavern. The inside is made of wood, giving a medieval atmosphere. The food was tasty and the staff friendly. I recommend the nuremberg sausages over the franconian ones (even though smaller, they were tastier in my opinion)

Unfortunately, the overall positive impression was significantly tarnished: Shortly after finishing the main course, we were asked to leave the restaurant immediately because our table had already been reserved for a subsequent reservation. We find such an approach, without prior notice or an appropriate alternative, to be less customer-friendly and not appropriate to the hospitality that one would expect in a traditional pub. It is unfortunate that a generally successful visit ended so negatively due to this abrupt and unpleasant experience.

Very nice shop with reasonable prices in Nuremberg. Food was very plentiful and good. We would definitely come more often next time as other restaurants didn't convince us.

My friend and I went to dinner, she is a local to the city and knows the restaurant. He took me with excitement because it is my first night visiting the country. The food was delicious, the place and atmosphere typical of Franconian Nuremberg, but the service was quite terrible, they forgot our drink Until one of us went to ask the staff for it, and they already brought it when we finished our dishes. As most pubs in the area.theu offer their own brewery brand of beer on tap. Always coming in 3 types: red, light and dark beer. The red and the dark beer tasted great and I highly recommend those.

This restaurant is a decent option in the altstadt. My main complaint is that it's basically a food factory. My schäufele was served within five minutes of my ordering it, which means it was pre-cooked and waiting for who knows how long under heating. The end result was overcooked. You can see from the photo how gray the meat is. I had better schäufele when I ventured outside the altstadt to less touristy areas.

We went because the guide reminded us and it was a success. The knuckle with sauerkraut was a delight, the meat fell apart and the dish was super tasty. Everything we tried was delicious and the dishes were huge. The fried apple is wonderful. Very good value for money. We are looking forward to repeating. Highly recommended!

Rustic interior design in a house near the castle from the 60s or 70s. When you're inside you think you're sitting in a 16th century farmhouse 🗝️ Kitchen until 9 p.m. Food and service good. Prices are very high - that doesn't have to be the case and leaves an unfriendly impression. Therefore 2* deduction for service.

The food may be delicious, but unfortunately the service was so poor and inflexible that we never got to eat it—what a shame!

We had an original Wiener Schnitzel with fries and cranberries and a regular schnitzel with potato salad, which was very tasty. The price was reasonable for the quality. We'll be back :-)

About the food: All the dishes at the table were nothing special, the bread that came with it had apparently been lying around open for 1-2 days and was very dry. However, all types of house beer were very good! Service was average, I generally liked the atmosphere, quite quaint, but sometimes seemingly randomly put together.

3 years in a row I'm comming to this place and I've neven been dissapointed. Amazing food, a lot of cool beers ans Schnaps, really worth the visit if you're in Nuremberg

I've been to the hut several times with friends. The food is delicious Franconian, the portions are generous and the service and cuisine are very quick. During my last visit, my friend's Schäuferle was so big that he fainted after eating it, so to speak, into a food coma. But he quickly felt better and the cola was on the house.

Now that we've arrived in Bavaria, it's time to drink some beer. We also visited this Franken restaurant near Nuremberg Castle for a meal. Franken is a place name for a region in central and southern Germany. When I went inside, it had a beer hall feel, but also felt like a quiet neighborhood restaurant, and there was only one employee who was friendly. They communicated in English and there was an English menu, so ordering was easy. The beer I drank was Goodman Brewery's Hefeweizen, and it had a very savory taste and strong banana flavor. Because it was a wheat beer, it didn't feel as refreshing, so it was a bit burdensome to keep running, but honestly, it was really delicious. For food, I ordered a set of two Franconian sausages and four Nuremberg sausages. In the photo, the thick sausage on the left is Franconian, and the small sausage on the right is Nuremberg. I tried the Nuremberg sausage first, and it was so thin that no juice leaked out when cutting or chewing. However, the chewy texture burst and the salty meat taste was clearly evident. Garnishes included creamy potato salad and sour sauerkraut, both of which tasted exactly as expected. Its role is to control the greasiness and oiliness, so in our opinion, it is a kimchi position. Next, the Franconian sausage was the ultimate in juiciness and was softer on the inside than the Nuremberg sausage. Above all, the flavor of the fire that seeped deep into the inside was truly impressive. It was rich in fat, so I ate it with horseradish to tone it down, which added to the freshness, so I was able to eat it without getting bitten until the end. Franconian sausages are more memorable than Nuremberg sausages.

One of the most interesting and nice traditional restaurants I have ever visited. We were at business trip to Nürnberg, three Finns and one German guy. We came here to just have a dinner, not expecting any special. We ate a meal called Fränkische Schlemmerplatte. It was so good that we booked table for next day right after the dinner! On the second dinner we chose Entrecote von Grill. It was perfect! One of the best entrecotes I have ever eaten. My strong recommendation in this restaurant! And ask their Keller bier, they are perfect too! If you still have some space left in your stomach, just fill it by a great Äpfel Küche mit Vanille eis. It was one of the best desserts ever. I will never forget this restaurant. If I will visit to Nürnberg again, I definitely want to have a dinner in Huttn!

Top restaurant with nice service and good portions at fair, reasonable prices. Rustic ambience and friendly service go together perfectly. We were there on a Thursday evening and it was quite difficult to get a place. But that speaks more for the restaurant.

Schäuferle was so bad. No seasoning and not fresh. Sauerkraut was also not seasoned. We reserved a table for 20 people. We received a table for 17 people and a table for 15 people. 2 friends had to eat at another table. When it was approaching 8 p.m. (time slot 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.) the waitress urged us to leave. We were more or less thrown out. Then two friends complained about tables and the boss said if we hadn't eaten, he would have thrown us out. That's not possible. WE WILL NEVER SEE THIS TOURIA RIP-UP STORE AGAIN.

Luckily we managed to get a place, beers from our own production were also offered to try in 0.2 l. Small starter plate was very good and sufficient. Possibility to try beer brandies and the house whiskey, even with a nosing glass and water, you don't get such expertise often. Small but nice!

My visit to the restaurant today: table reservation for 16 people. The number of people was confirmed an hour before the reservation! We were assigned a table for 12 people, one of which was also in the passage for the service staff, so it could only be used to a limited extent. One person in our group immediately turned around due to the narrowness, the other 15 of us moved together accordingly, but it wasn't possible to eat, so two people had to sit somewhere else, which is not the point of a group evening. As I was leaving, I dared to say that it wouldn't work to seat 16 people at a table of 12. The only comment: then you just have to move closer together. My objection that you wouldn't have room to eat and that next time you'd just have something to drink was followed by my being thrown out. Original sound (!) of the person who makes the seat reservation. Ok, there won't be a next time because the food wasn't that good that you have to visit this place again.

We then left at 5:00 p.m. At this point the place was yawningly empty. A few guests got lost in the restaurant. Obviously, this is a concept intended to prevent guests from sitting around unnecessarily after eating and drinking. By the way, there were no reservations on the tables. First and last visit. Actually a really nice place.

Super delicious Franconian cuisine.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere very cozy. The service was quite chaotic but it worked anyway. For beers it was easy to choose between blonde, red and black (red is recommended because it is so typical of the city), and for dishes you could eat between 9-13 euros for different combinations of sausages with accompaniment, or between 17 euros and more for the various traditional dishes. You could pay by card.

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. We made weeks ago a reservation for 18.00. When we arrived we had to wait for a free table what is okay, but then the waitress told us that we have the table only for 90 minutes (Group of 11) and the time started already ticking from 18.00 At 19.15 she asked already us to pay immediately and 10 minutes later, even before the strange 90 minutes counter was really over, she asked us to leave the restaurant. I never experienced such a poor behavior in a restaurant. Time slots okay, but 90 minutes and without any communication at the point of reservation is totally not okay!

Rich and tasty portions. Typical Bavarian atmosphere. We tasted a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, a plate of mixed sausages (from Nuremberg and Bavarian) and pork on cream, mushrooms and spatzle.

Next to the House of Tule, the staff speaks English fluently and has an English menu; the four-cent dish for 2 large and 2 small meals is just right; the signature roasted pork shoulder is delicious and the portion is moderate, and the potato balls as a side dish are more delicious than those eaten elsewhere, and the pork shoulder is thin The meat is a bit dry but mixed with the sauce and it is moderately soft and hard; the signature fried steak (around 22 euros) is generous and delicious; the 6-piece sausage set (with mashed potatoes or sauerkraut on the side) is not a big portion and I ordered 2 portions, European . The generous portions, the friendly service, the excellent taste and the large selection of regional beers persuaded us to visit the inn on two consecutive days. It's a shame that these were our last two days in Nuremberg, but we will definitely come back the next time we visit the city.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately some components of the food were only lukewarm/cold, the service (a young girl) was very nice. The rest didn't work for us; if we had known that reservations were made based on seats and not tables (like in other restaurants), we wouldn't have made a reservation there. We sat at a table with strangers, which we don't like. Well, our next visit to Nuremberg won't be for dinner there.

Schnitzel is really delicious. I've had schnitzel from about 10 places so far and this was the best. Schoipele is quite soft. I heard the sausage was rather mediocre, but I personally found it tastier than the most famous place in Nurem. 4 people ordered 3 menu items and 3 drinks and it came to about 55 euros. The cost-effectiveness is also excellent.

We were here yesterday with 6 people. It's cozy but noisy. Food was very different. Sometimes the roast was only partially crispy and sometimes the sauerkraut was cold. Plenty of selection of freshly tapped beer.

The Schäufele is excellent, but the best things here are the Nuremberg sausages (perhaps the best in the city) and the sausage platter with potato salad or sauerkraut. The house beer is delicious.
