Very good food, fast and friendly service! The dishes were delicious, and the portions were generous. The cozy, pub-like atmosphere is especially inviting – you immediately feel at home. A place I'd happily recommend and will definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Hütt'n. The taste was a 10/10, in my opinion. I had the Franconian Sauerbraten—amazing, incredibly tender beef in a delicious gingerbread sauce with delicious dumplings. The prices for the (Bavarian) dishes are perfectly reasonable, if not very good. The Hütt'n is a great place to sit—a lovely, rustic, Bavarian, Franconian design. There are lovely dining booths where you can enjoy a great meal. I was also very satisfied with the service—very attentive, not too attentive; friendly; welcoming. I recommend reserving a table in advance, because we arrived around 2 p.m., and even at that time, almost all the tables in sight were occupied. During peak times, you might not be able to get a table on the spot. The Hütt'n is a fantastic place! Come by and dig in — delicious Bavarian food!

We had a delicious meal at Wirtshaus Hütt’n. The restaurant has a cozy, typically Bavarian atmosphere and a menu full of hearty, flavorful dishes. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and generously sized. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel immediately welcome. Combined with the relaxed atmosphere, this made for a very enjoyable evening. In short: highly recommended if you're looking for a traditional and cozy dinner in Nuremberg.

Very good food Paying at the cash register was annoying

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience. The staff wasn't friendly at all; we seemed like a nuisance. Since we spoke English and not German, the easiest thing we could do was show them what we wanted from their Google Photos images. They brought us something else, which was three times more expensive. We left disappointed.

Touristy but great location. Friendly staff and very fast. Always friendly despite the stress. Food is fresh and the portions are generous.

Those who prefer a classic approach should opt for the Schäufele, a sumptuous pork shoulder with a perfectly crusted finish, paired with Pyraser Kellerbier. But the gourmet platter and the time-honored schnitzel are also not to be underestimated, offering incomparable flavor nuances. To finish off the meal, we recommend a lava cake with vanilla ice cream. 5/5

Great food, great service, great atmosphere

Yes, always beautiful and above all, no tourist rip-off! I'm writing this as an old Nuremberg resident.

I was here in 2023 and really liked the place: everything inside was so authentic, so much wood, all kinds of decor, a pleasant atmosphere. I was alone, but they seated an Italian family with me; there weren't enough tables. The pork with dumplings was delicious, and the red beer was great too. If I ever return to Nuremberg, I'll definitely come here again.

Acceptable food, grilled turkey salad full of oil. Very good Nuremberg sausages. Good beer. The attitude of the girl at the reservations leaves something to be desired, she was rude to us at first. We greeted her the first time we entered the restaurant, then we looked at the menu to make sure we wanted to eat there, and then we asked if they had a table for two. Her answer was "first say hello" given the fact that we greeted her when we entered the building. I'll leave a picture of the oil in the salad after we finished eating

Be ware of rats in restaurant at broad day light!!! We were copletely surprised seeing that rat was moving around the sitting area. Waitress said it is normal since whole area is very old and all the houses are also rat infested. Well, That is not right answer.

No table reservation here. Come and find a member of staff and they will get you seated. We had such a good meal that we came back the next evening. Great Sauerbraten and Fränkisches Schäufle. A piece of roasted pork with crackling. Second night we had the sausages and the Schnitzel also delicious 😋. A good selection of local beer specialities and good wines. Definitely a must in the castle area of Nürnberg.

Recommended by the free tour guide, it was a great choice. The roasted pork knuckle couldn't have been more delicious. It's a place that mixes tourists with locals. For dessert, we tried a kind of apple-filled doughnut that was delicious.

The schnitzel and shoulder of pork were simply delicious, good value for money. The portions are generous! The service from the staff could be better. They handed us a menu and two minutes later, without a word, snatched it from our hands. Then they gave us an updated menu or the daily specials without explanation. He did this to all the tables that were there at the time and was a bit impatient while we decided on our order based on the new menu. However, I will come back for the food and the good prices.

Our food was average and nothing special. The beers were priced fairly. In terms of ambience it really falls short with wasps and flies constantly flying around you while you eat, and mice on the patio running by your feet. The schweinebraten was especially fatty, which I didn’t enjoy.

Tasty food, fine and very kind service, def a place to visit in Nürnberg.

We traveled to Nuremberg from Munich to explore the city and wander its streets. After reading reviews of restaurants in the area where our tour would end, I decided to book this restaurant, which did not disappoint. We ordered pork shoulder and cordon bleau for two, and both were spectacular. The sausages also looked delicious, but we'd already eaten enough of this dish, so we decided not to order them. If you're a tourist looking for something good, pretty, and cheap, this is your place.

The attendant took us to a table outside. After ordering, we were told that the table had a reserved customer 30 minutes later when we said we only wanted beer. It's not nice to pick customers!!!

Everything was delicious, plentiful, served quickly, and reasonably priced. Despite the crowds, the service was relaxed and friendly. Spectacular!! We're from Argentina. We went with my mom and grandmother for lunch and dinner. We shared two dishes because they were so filling! Excellent value, quality, and service.

I sat down, ordered, and the food came out quickly. The roast pork shoulder was crispy and tender. The potato balls were better than other places, but we only had one. The roast meat platter was overcooked and tough. The pork and turkey were better, and the French fries were flavorful. The large sausage was quite salty and left me thirsty. The local beer was good, not bitter.

Mice were crawling on the terrace!!! When we asked to be moved, the waiter was rude. And when the hall was empty, they seated us at a table where there were already people.... No one apologized, nothing! Mice were running between our legs on the terrace!!! The food was also prepared in a questionable way. How could a pork neck be so dry?!

I ordered the fish dish and the portion was too large for me. The fish itself was delicious, very soft and fresh. The vegetables were drenched in oil and not pleasurable. The place is quite popular with the locals to try the typical Schäufele, would recommend to try.

A very clear statement: we do not recommend a visit due to the rather strange behavior of one employee. RECEPTION: Plenty of free seats, the two of us are only allowed to sit at an outside table at the end of the "outside seating" or not at all. All other tables (where we would have liked to sit) are only allowed to be occupied by four people, according to the employee who directed us. Absolutely no other way... Shortly afterwards, two people sit at these empty tables and one person at the next. When we asked for an explanation about this type of treatment of guests... the aforementioned employee immediately responded dismissively and cautiously... and said he would not allow any criticism or questions. It was none of our business... That ended the conversation for him, and he simply walked away. Further attempts to talk to him or any other employee were not possible. For us, this is absurd and proof that guests are not truly welcome there... or rather, "one" doesn't need it. We weren't expecting such callous arrogance in a tourist center like Nuremberg. Never again...

The pig's feet are really delicious, highly recommended, especially the skin, crispy, crispy, fragrant, and the sauce is not salty, but I personally don't like the potato balls after trying them. For those who are afraid of smoke, it is recommended to sit indoors! The service is also very good, and they will not give customers change. After all, some restaurant waiters will not give change in disguise, and decide on their own as a tip from the guests!

Delicious food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere

Since we came to Bavaria, it was time to really enjoy some beer. After looking around Nuremberg Castle and coming down to have a meal, we visited the Franconian Restaurant. Franconian is a place name for the central and southern part of Germany. When I went inside, it felt like a beer hall, but it was also like a quiet neighborhood restaurant. There was an old man on staff who was kind. He spoke English well, and there was an English menu, so I was able to order easily. I drank Goodman Brewery's Hefe Weizen, and as expected, the savory flavor and banana aroma were really strong. Since it's a wheat beer, it's not very refreshing, so it might be burdensome to drive all the way, but honestly, it was really delicious. For food, I ordered a sausage set that came with two Franconian sausages and four Nuremberg sausages. The thick sausage on the left in the photo is Franconian, and the small one on the right is Nuremberg. I tasted the Nuremberg sausage first, and it was so thin that the meat juice didn't leak out when I cut it or chewed it. However, the crispy texture and bursting salty meat flavor were clearly evident. The garnish included creamy potato salad and sour sauerkraut, both of which tasted exactly as expected. It plays a role in reducing the greasiness and oiliness, so it is like kimchi in Korea. Next, the Franconian sausage showed the peak of juiciness, and the inside was moist and softer than the Nuremberg sausage. What was most impressive was the flavor of the smoky aroma that permeated deep inside. Since it was rich in oil, horseradish was added to suppress it, and it added a refreshing taste, so I ate it well without getting tired of it. Personally, I remember the Franconian sausage more than the Nuremberg sausage.

This is our second time eating here... excellent, regional, rustic food... Many thanks to the kitchen... the prices are unbeatable for these huge portions...
