The Wirtshaus Hütt'n offers a cozy atmosphere, which is somewhat impaired by the narrowness. The unannounced placement at a table that was already occupied came as a surprise. The menu offers a good selection, with the suckling pig being particularly notable. The service was a bit rough at first, but improved as the evening progressed. There was quite a bit of chaos when changing tables, especially at 7:35 p.m. Overall, a nice restaurant with delicious food, but there is still room for improvement in terms of organization.

We have eaten wonderfully. We went to the place without a reservation, 4 people and 1 baby, and they assigned us a table without much wait. The food is exquisite, the speed and the service too. Recommended 100%

The guy in the tourist information recommended this place to us. There was no room inside but all we wanted was a quick drink so we sat outside and soaked in the evening. Loads of beers on offer. The waiter spent time with us recommending what to try. Would recommend anyone to check this lovely place out!

We were there very spontaneously and got a table straight away. The service was very nice and the food...just delicious. I've never eaten such tender meat. Gladly again!

Very good Franconian food. Good portions and very nice staff. This inn is always a highlight when we visit Nuremberg.

Unfortunately we were very dissatisfied with the service. Although we had reserved until 5:30 p.m., we were asked to leave our table beforehand. Not only was this request inappropriate, but it was also delivered in a rude manner. In addition, at our table, where six people were sitting, a bread basket with only two slices of bread was served. Even after asking several times, we didn't get any more bread. The staff looked at the clock several times in annoyance, which made us feel like we should leave quickly. The highlight was that our cheese and meat platter, which was still half full, was simply removed from the table without asking if we would like it packed up. Overall we felt very unwelcome and badly treated. Such service is absolutely disappointing and unacceptable.

Food good - service terrible!! There were a total of 6 people sitting outside and we waited forever to order something. After a whole 45 minutes (in between a young waitress came and told us she wasn't responsible for orders but she let us know - unfortunately unsuccessful ☹️) we wanted to pay and leave! Unfortunately the desire to pay also required three requests so we all had to go inside to pay. In my opinion it's a really originally decorated pub with good food, but the terrible service ruins it all 😥!

I like going to the huts. I like the service there, the employees are always friendly, even when it's full. Service is quick and the food is good. I have recommended the restaurant several times to friends from outside who were visiting Nuremberg - everyone was always enthusiastic. As it can be busy, it is advisable to make a reservation.

Food good, relatively expensive. Sauerbraten EUR 19.90. Ambiance very nice. Seating is sometimes very cramped. Six guests sat at a table for four. Three guests at a table for two. The waiter's style was flippant and cheeky. We won't come back.

Love this restaurant, good to sit outside for a beer and also eat in the restaurant.. Beer selection is good and the food portions are good, quality also excellent. Look forward to visiting again next year.

Classic inn with a lot of hustle and bustle. Good food, excellent beer selection, fair prices. Tip: to avoid losses, you should switch from the pen and paper number to something contemporary. There was a lot missing from the final bill.

Nice and quaint! The celery schnitzel is also available in vegan form upon request.

When we visit Nuremberg, this is a must. It's touristy, but just great. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is quaint. Also always a large selection of beers.

The food was great as always But what's a huge disgrace is the fact that 30 minutes before our slot at the table ended, we were looked at strangely when we wanted to order another beer. We should drink quickly and then pay and leave. Hospitality has apparently been forgotten in Franconia since I moved away. Especially when you consider that they couldn't even get us to our reserved table on time, I think that's quite a disgrace.

I dined here a few months ago and can't say anything bad! In my trampish way, I simply rumbled in and looked for a free table, whereupon a people sorter standing at the entrance kindly stopped me and, after a brief consultation, asked me what I wanted here (food yes/no, alone/with several people, etc.). directed to a table. I just wanted to grab something to eat quickly and then move on quickly. I then sat at the table with another person who was very friendly and chatty, actually the exact opposite of me, which made my stay even more pleasant. The food came quickly and was wonderfully tasty (I had a "Schäufele", which is meat with meat on meat and a bit of salad, hidden under a bowling ball dumpling). You could get fooled, I'm telling you! The payment was also completed in no time and I was able to continue straight away, although thanks to the rustic atmosphere I could have easily imagined drinking half a dozen more cold hops here, but unfortunately you have to drive... Stay as you are! ♥

Although highly touristic, the quality of the food is still good and huge portions. Most waiters speak good English which is not a normal thing in Germany. Not the cheapest due to touristic area

We ate Schäufele. It was good, but big. The Italian wine was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. However, I had reserved three days in advance. Recommended!

We were there with a group. The house was packed, but the waiters were still friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and at a great price. Unfortunately, we were almost certainly "kicked out" at the end of our reservation time because the next ones had already arrived. That was a bit of a shame, as there was of course a lot of hectic about paying etc. But all in all, highly recommended.

When we visit my friend's hometown, it's standard practice to eat at Hütt'n. It always tastes delicious, his beloved Schäufle, delicious beer and very nice service.

I was in Nuremberg a few years ago and stopped by this inn. Because I was so enthusiastic back then, I of course went back here on the current road trip. Everything is great! Starting with the nice service, the atmosphere and the food! Really recommended! We had roast pork with dumplings and beer, which was great in terms of price and taste! Portion size is great too! We'd love to come back!

Solid, but expandable The atmosphere is quaint and the location is really great. Unfortunately the schnitzel was a bit tasteless and the fries were quite dry, which made the meal a bit disappointing. What should be positively mentioned is the good selection of dishes, there is also something for vegetarians. With a little more attention to detail in the kitchen it would be worth recommending.

Rustic, typically Franconian atmosphere, nice to sit outside too. Very nice and quick service. Food wasn't that great. The Wiener Schnitzel was from the deep fryer with a breading that had bubbles and was peeling off everywhere. The fries were hard and greasy. Salad was good.

The service was very friendly and helpful. I have to deduct one point. There were two groups present and it was quite loud. Otherwise everything was very good. The toilet was very clean. Everything fine. 🙂 We'll come back when we're nearby. 🙂

We were there with the company with 9 colleagues for beer and dinner. Unfortunately, the food was really mediocre, the schnitzel was like cardboard and the fried potatoes were probably old. The colleagues were all disappointed, except for Schäufele. Potato salad from the bucket etc. But what made the whole thing really unpleasant was the extremely unfriendly manner of the waiter (with an accent) who literally complained to people at our table several times. The €300 in sales will definitely go to someone else next time 😉

I used to love this restaurant. Unfortunately, they are not as good and nice as they used to be. I have been very disappointed lately with how your staff treat the guests. Apparently you can't go with two people. Otherwise you'll take up a lot of unnecessary space (a table, so to speak), from which you won't be able to get much in the end. There were two of us there. Half of the tables are free. We were rejected because we had to be at least five people. Then we found a smaller table. We were allowed to sit there. But we would have to leave exactly in an hour. That's apparently how you greet guests there. In the end we didn't feel like it anymore and didn't want to go back. Very disappointed!!!

Is a nice inn in the middle of the city. The waitresses were all very abrupt and rude due to the lack of communication between the service staff. The food is on average quite good, but the drinks are definitely not worth the money, for example the lemonade tasted like dishwater. All in all a pretty good store but not worth 4 stars, very average. As a vegetarian side dish, a coleslaw with bacon was served…

The service was extremely unfriendly. Told us that we could only stay for an hour as there were only two of us and the table was for 4. After half an hour he came and said that we now have to pay within 10 minutes. We had just finished eating and the glasses were still full. We've never experienced this before. The sausage variations were very manageable for the price and the potato salad was a small blob. The Schäufele was okay. But the service didn't work at all. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

If you visit Germany you have to eat the schnitzel and that's why I stopped at this place. Very characteristic environment, in wood and with soft lights, maybe a little too hot. I ate the schnitzel with French fries and it was delicious. Be careful if you book the schnitzel because there are 2 and not 1 so you might have trouble finishing it. I gave 4 stars because the staff didn't speak English and it's difficult to communicate.

All the tables outside were occupied so I sat inside. It's good that they have air conditioning there because it was very hot outside. I wanted to try something traditionally Bavarian, but a gorgeous Wiener schnitzel passed me by and I quickly changed my mind. A very large schnitzel with lingonberry sauce, a lot of fries, they brought ketchup and a summer salad with watermelon, pineapple, grapes and vegetables. The meat was tender, the batter was excellent. The service is also good. I was extremely satisfied and would happily return to this establishment.

For me one of the best Franconian restaurants in all of Nuremberg. Good value for money. Seating outside, but unfortunately very narrow.

We came to eat on a Sunday. The food is very good, the place is charming, the bathrooms are clean, but the staff is rude and impolite, taking away the desire to repeat.

Super positive experience in this splendid, characteristic local restaurant. Excellent value for money, it is the ideal place if you want to taste typical local dishes. The meat was delicious, I loved the typical apple fritters (unforgettable!). Excellent and friendly service

We have been to the hut many times. For years. With friends. Alone. To celebrate. Now the two of us wanted something quick for dinner. In the There were still 3 tables available in the lower area without reservations. However, there were four tables. The waiter said we couldn't stay there because he had to make sure he could accommodate 4 people at the table. We should go to the only high table still available - great for a drink but not suitable for eating. So we left again - that wasn't a problem at the table for four in the Altstadthof. That was it for the Hüttn and us - our company - and our circle of friends. It's a shame when landlords don't get their money's worth.

Characteristic environment. We ate inside and I find it more comfortable than outside. Little choice of dishes but very good. I suggest it. The staff was kind. Prices in line with the standard.

We did not have time to taste the cuisine because we were very poorly treated by the waiter who royally ignored us before shouting at us because we had not been seated at a suitable table and it seemed obvious to him that we were was wrong when the restaurant only had one table occupied on the terrace. He then heavily insisted that we choose a table for 2, waiting for us to be seated before entering. We left as soon as he left our field of vision.

The person is very friendly (something that begins to seem strange in Germany). They moved us without problems from the terrace to the interior lounge because it was too hot on the street. Recommended: Nuremberg's own beer and crispy pork with stout sauce.
