They have the best franconian food we have had after 2 weeks of traveling in Germany. The spaetzle was outstanding as well as their sausages. The staff was friendly and helpful and I look forward to returning.

I had to order directly at the counter because the waitresses regularly walked past me without noticing me, although I had previously asked which table I could sit at and they were watching me. Apparently you could sit at any table that didn't have cutlery, which was hardly the case, which is why I approached a couple at a table of eight. I was very happy that there were alcohol-free cyclists. After an hour I received my Schäufele with a dumpling and a little later my side salad. Unfortunately it was a bit dry, but the dumplings and salad were even better. The lighting in the beer garden was only switched on because I asked, even though it was already quite dark and you could hardly see your food. Attention: Unfortunately the opening times do not seem to be correct. I would have liked to eat in the beautiful garden, but it was already closed at 10:30 p.m. Since the beer garden itself only states the times when the beer garden opens, I assume that the length of the opening depends on demand.

Traditional Franconian and cozy restaurant with a beautiful beer garden with old chestnut trees. On the clear menu you will find beautifully presented specialties that come to the table in generous portions. The young waitresses and waiters are quick and very friendly. On warm summer evenings, the beer garden is a small oasis in the southern part of the city. Even in rainy weather, the beer garden can be used thanks to the tent. It's best to make a reservation because the Silver Jug is very popular.

I really enjoy coming here to eat and drink. In the large beer garden, which you wouldn't expect at this location, you can enjoy your cool beer wonderfully in summer. In winter there is mulled wine outside. The food is Franconian and there are daily specials that vary again and again. The food tastes good. However, if it is full it can take longer.

A small oasis in Nuremberg. Everything down to earth, service on point. Daily beer and daily specials available. Bread was a bit dry but the Obatzda was nice and creamy, and finally with pickle. Dumpling fries great idea for something different. I could also imagine it as a veggie dish with the savoy cabbage.

The Silberne Kanne is a traditional Franconian restaurant in Nuremberg's southern part of town with a great beer garden under old chestnut trees. In the winter months, the partner restaurant Schrödl Wirt on Enderstrasse is also recommended. Both still charge middle-class prices.

We had Obatzter and Nuremberg bratwurst with potato salad. The sausage was the best I have had. Very friendly service and favorable press. We'd love to come back.

We found the beer garden in Nuremberg's south city by chance, as it is in a side street. Nice atmosphere, friendly service, delicious beer and good regional cuisine. The prices for drinks are fair, the food prices are one or two euros too much in my opinion - at least for the Obatzter. Definitely recommended for a nice evening in good company!

We were in the beer garden, a little oasis in the middle of the city. Thanks to the surrounding greenery and the high fences, the hustle and bustle of everyday life disappears. 👍🏻 The beer was tasty and so was the food. 👍🏻 The Schäufele came off the bone well. 👍🏻 A little insider tip is the dumpling fries. 👍🏻 The service is relaxed.

A beautiful beer garden tucked away in a backyard. The food is delicious, from the snack to the Schäuferle. There are good beers. On nice days it is advisable to make a reservation. If it's full, it may take a little longer for the service to arrive, but no one has starved or died of thirst yet. Just stay relaxed.

Great Franconian economy with a regular local character. The Kanne has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. The draft beer is usually delicious, the food is really tasty and the prices are fair. In summer, the excellent beer garden entices you outside! Clear recommendation for anyone looking for an authentic economy with good quality.

A very solid shop with good Franconian cuisine and highlights!? I had a schnitzel Bertolt??? I'm not sure. It was really cool, I'm always happy when chefs try something new. Please keep it up.

The pub in the southern part of town 😀. Delicious food, a manageable menu, good value for money, and of course a good beer to go with it.

My partner and I spontaneously went here on a Saturday evening. We were kindly escorted to a table and a candle was lit. Our first drink came quickly and the food shortly after. It was very good and fresh. The two young men working as servers that evening were professional and friendly. Even though the restaurant was full, the staff were relaxed. You could tell that they enjoyed working there. Absolutely recommended, also great price.

Delicious pitcher cordon bleu! It's also cool that there's a daily changing beer. It's always been a delicious beer so far. I also had the sour corners, they were delicious and the fried dumpling fries just go well with the schnitzel, although you could probably just drink a cup of hot fat, I say I won't be doing that for much longer hahahaha... Well, until next time, right?

Schöner Biergarten in Mitten der Nürnberger Südatadt, Essen gut mit etwas Luft zu sehr Gut Handwerklich gab es beim Essen keine Mängel Optimal für ein Geselliges Treffen wo auch der Hunger Ordentlich gestillt wird. Bitte weiter so Der Service ist sehr Freundlich und Fix 👍👍👍

Schöner Nachbarschaftsbiergarten in der Südstadt von Nürnberg, jenseits aller Touristenpfade. Das Essen war gut, die Getränke ebenfalls, der Service war schnell und freundlich. Mein neues Lieblingsbeilage sind "Röstknödelpommes"(siehe Bild)

Schön zu sitzen, auch ein Zelt für Regen. Essen war gut bürgerlich und den Erwartungen entsprechend. Service war ok, Sanitärbereich und Preis-Leistung auch. Würden wieder kommen.

Einer der wenigen Biergärten in der Stadt. Geöffnet ab 17 h. Reservierung empfohlen. Für uns war kein Platz mehr frei. Wir haben dann selbst an den Tischen nachgefragt und sofort einen Platz bekommen. Warum soll man sich auch an einem Tisch für 10 Personen, der nur mit 6Personen besetzt ist, nicht dazusetzen können? Das kann man besser organisieren. Essen war gut (kalt bis Kasspatzn), Bier ebenso. Publikum gemischt und alle gut drauf. Personal freundlich. Zu empfehlen.

Schöner, lauschiger Biergarten im Hinterhof sozusagen. Einfache Getränkeauswahl, (leider gar) kein Chi-Chi. Essen typisch fränkisch - biergartenmäßig. Cordón Bleu war gut, Schnitzel auch, Bratkartoffeln waren mies, kurz vor Kartoffelbrei. Bedienung freundlich, trotz Unterbesetzung, Respekt. Dass bei 35° ein gönnerhaftes "egtl gibt es kein Eis ins Getränk, weil wir Eiswürfel für Longdrinks brauchen, aber, na, gut" ist ein No-Go. Insgesamt 3 Punkte: Erträglich um ein Radler zu trinken, aber sonst...

Schöner Biergarten inmitten der Südstadt.

Wir als kleine Familie waren heute hier Abendessen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Vor allem das Ambiente und der blonde Kellner haben uns sehr beeindruckt. Die Kruste vom Schäuferle hat ein bisschen zu sehr am Gaumen geklebt aber ansonsten war das Essen top! Als wir nach mehr Ketchup gefragt haben, kam der blonde Kellner mit einer ganzen Flasche Heinz Tomaten Ketchup zurück zu unserem Tisch. Das hat meine Tante total gefreut und ihre Pommes haben gleich viel besser geschmeckt. Alles in Allem ist der wunderschöne Biergarten sehr empfehlenswert und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Biergarten einfach toll - Hier ist offensichtlich das Personal noch Gastgeber. Stets freundlich, regelmäßig wird wg. Getränken oder bei weiteren/späten Gästen am Tisch nach den Wünschen gefragt. Karte ist klar und übersichtlich und wird durch eine Tageskarte/Tafel ergaenzt. Bier schoen kühl und seltene Sorten (Tagesbier) das ganze unter Kastanienbaum en - eigentlich wie 1975. Danke gern und öfters wieder.

Sind etwas skeptisch hin aber wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Der Hof ist mit den alten Bäumen wirklich schön zum sitzen und das Cordon Bleu war sehr lecker. Ich hatte ein Radler bestellt und das Glas war innen schmutzig. Dass kann ja vorkommen es kommt dann bloß darauf an wie der Service damit umgeht. Und das war in diesem Fall sehr gut! Eine ehrlich gemeinte Entschuldigung und ohne zu zögern ein neues Radler.

Wir waren zu viert im Biergarten und keinem hat das Essen geschmeckt. Der Wurstsalat war überhaupt nicht angemacht und wurde dann nach Aufforderung nachgewürzt. Atmosphäre und Service waren gut.
