Unfortunately, I can't quite understand the hype surrounding this place. When we arrived we were kindly escorted to the bar by the lady at reception. We got there about five minutes before our reserved time. However, we had to wait 15 minutes at the bar before we were taken to our table. The room was neither full nor fully booked, so I suspect this was an attempt to encourage us to buy cocktails or other drinks. Once at the table, we were seated at a nice, large, round table with plenty of space. The orders were taken quickly, but we had to wait a long time for the drinks. While the starters were served quickly, the main course took a long time. About the food itself: It was solid, but by no means outstanding – especially not for the price range. The steak was only lukewarm, but the side dishes tasted very good. However, the portions of the side dishes were small and the dips, which were intended for six people, were clearly too few. All in all, it was an acceptable experience and the prices were right for what was offered. However, I would not describe the kitchen as high quality, as it is marketed on the Internet. Unfortunately, the portions of the side dishes were small, and the dips provided for six people were far too small. Overall, it was a decent experience, and the prices were reasonable for what was offered. However, I wouldn't describe the cuisine as high-end, as it is marketed online.

The prices are not transparent from the beginning. They have hidden fees and extra prices for services . The breakfast experience was close to an ordinary cantine one. You have to wait in a cue for getting eggs with the plate in hand. Not a pleasant experience. Not going back. The 5 stars on the hotel don't reflect the services and the breakfast experience. For an AMAZING EXPERIENCE choose The Medison .

A very special place. The food is great, the service is perfect and the lovingly nested ambience rounds off the evening. Always happy again.

Delicious. Not cheap but also reliably good. We'll be back next year!

Das Essen war super, nur für ein Glas Wein 0,2 L 9,90€ zu verlangen finden wir echt unverschämt. Gut es ist alles teurer geworden, doch irgendwann langt es und man kann sich das bald nicht mehr leisten.

Very tasty food, good portions and reasonable prices. The service was great and child-friendly. We would love to come back. :)

Wir haben uns im schönen Ambiente sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei der Auswahl des Fleisches sollte man unbedingt auf Tippˋs vom freundlichen Serviceteam vertrauen. Herr Göppel hat uns alle Cut’s und Herkunftsregionen super erklärt, sodass meine Frau und ich jeweils unsere Steaks so bekommen haben, wie wir sie am liebsten mögen! Getränke und Beilagen auch alle Top, nur das Kartoffelgratin hätte etwas weniger Rosmarin vertragen können….

This was my second time visiting here and both times I was completely impressed by the food, service and the overall package. Our waitress Goretti (the “charming bitch”) in particular provided us with excellent service and is just a really nice employee. Next time we will definitely come here again.

A great hotel with a puristic, modern design. Absolutely something for the eye!!! The service was very nice and luggage service was available upon request. The car can be parked if you want, or you can park in the parking garage next to it. The State Opera is right around the corner and the Neue Wall is a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are stylish and cozy. The bathroom complete with frosted glass doors. This is the only drawback, the gas doors cannot be closed properly and a lockable door would have been great, especially for the separate toilet. I accompanied a friend to an operation and we spent a night there. In some situations you like privacy! The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic. Seldom seen such a lavish buffet. Several types of ham and sausage in one piece, alongside the platters of cold cuts. Plus about 20 types of cheese in one piece. A great selection of muesli with dried fruit and fresh fruit. Eggs in all varieties can be ordered at the table. You can also order coffee variants. Bread and rolls in a selection just like at the bakery... We had a great stay.

Current from 01/08/25 Delicious bruschetta, crisp salad and a decent steak. Good food at good prices

We went there for the lunch and sat in the patio with glasses. It was so beautiful. The lunch menu was worth it and the food was delicious.

Ideal for a spontaneous visit, as the chicly furnished restaurant is very spacious. Good meat, tasty side dishes and quick service. However, the wine list could use an update.
