THEOS in Hamburg

Unfortunately, I can't quite understand the hype surrounding this place. When we arrived we were kindly escorted to the bar by the lady at reception. We got there about five minutes before our reserved time. However, we had to wait 15 minutes at the bar before we were taken to our table. The room was neither full nor fully booked, so I suspect this was an attempt to encourage us to buy cocktails or other drinks. Once at the table, we were seated at a nice, large, round table with plenty of space. The orders were taken quickly, but we had to wait a long time for the drinks. While the starters were served quickly, the main course took a long time. About the food itself: It was solid, but by no means outstanding – especially not for the price range. The steak was only lukewarm, but the side dishes tasted very good. However, the portions of the side dishes were small and the dips, which were intended for six people, were clearly too few. All in all, it was an acceptable experience and the prices were right for what was offered. However, I would not describe the kitchen as high quality, as it is marketed on the Internet. Overall, it was a decent experience, and the prices were reasonable for what was offered. However, I wouldn't describe the cuisine as high-end, as it is marketed online.

For me the best steakhouse in Hamburg and perhaps in Germany. Best quality, great waitresses and waiters. The only improvement of the evening could have been my company.

We had dinner with you last night. It was like always in EVERYTHING!!!!! areas excellent. Mr. Collodo's service was perfect. I am not the first nor the last time you will be your guest. It's a shame that Mrs. Tuborg wasn't in the house. With friendly greetings from Eckernförde

A very stylish atmosphere with incredibly friendly and courteous staff. Great service complements the excellent food. The steaks are perfectly prepared, as are the side dishes. A minimal point, it was full and therefore a bit noisy. But that's complaining at a very high level.

We had to cancel our reservation because Theos is dog-friendly. We are better off with Henriks and Claas. It's a shame that you can't tolerate a little mini Pomeranian.

Food was nice, wines too. However the general behavior and service of the people were not that level of the restaurant they advertised and priced. There are other places in Hamburg in that class with way better service and atmosphere.

Food was OK for a house of this category, nothing more and nothing less. Quite a nice atmosphere, although the seating is cramped and the entrance is a bit confusing. The service is lowlight because it seems quite fake and therefore not very authentic. The best came for last - immediately after paying the bill of >400 EUR, in the middle of a conversation and after only about 1:50 hours, we were asked to leave the (reserved) table because it was needed for other guests. That's embarrassing for a house in this price range. We're definitely not coming back.

Unfortunately, Theos is no longer what it used to be! Service has dropped significantly, portions have become smaller and prices have increased. Too bad!

The food is of good quality, although sometimes a bit heavily salted. However, our steak was cooked to perfection and it would have been 5 stars for that. Unfortunately the service was very unprofessional. The bread was completely forgotten at our table. A wine order was also forgotten and was only answered when asked with the words "I'm sorry, my colleague was a bit confused, what did you order again?" brought. Definitely not the appropriate tone for a restaurant in this (price) range. Even afterwards, our wine glasses were only refilled with the wine bottle that we had paid for and kept separately when we actively asked. Furthermore, cutlery was dropped several times by the staff while serving. With a few exceptions (like the doorman, who offered first-class service), the staff seemed very young, chaotic and not well-coordinated. However, this should have been compensated for by the more experienced staff. All in all, unfortunately a rather disappointing visit purely due to the poor service.

⭐️ 1/5 Unfortunately, our visit to Theos in Hamburg was anything but pleasant. After we initially had to wait at the bar for 15 minutes, another 20 minutes passed before someone greeted us. The service was extremely poor - the waiter only appeared at our table twice in almost two hours. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Nothing was attractively prepared, not even the steak. In addition, almost everything was oversalted - the foamy soup, the fries, the spinach and the broccoli. Only the mushrooms were okay. Due to this negative experience, we have decided not to continue our business discussions with Theos in the future.

We were guests again at the Theos Restaurant and unfortunately we found that the quality had deteriorated significantly. In recent years we have always been very satisfied, but this time the visit was disappointing. Despite making a reservation, we had to wait a long time, which is not to be expected with an advance reservation. Unfortunately, when we finally sat down, the food was often too salty and didn't meet the usual standard. In addition, the service was hardly present, which further marred the evening. Overall, our visit to Theos yesterday was a disappointment. I hope that the team takes this criticism seriously and works to bring back the usual quality. It would be a shame if the restaurant lost its good reputation.

A masterpiece for the senses We had the honor of dining in this exquisite steak restaurant today and it was a very special experience. The meat - of incomparable quality - was prepared to perfection with artisanal precision. The service was impeccable: unobtrusive, extremely courteous and with a palpable passion for perfection. Culinary excellence and an ambience of timeless elegance come together here. A place that meets the highest standards – we are already looking forward to our next visit.

A visit to Theo’s steak restaurant is a treat for every meat lover! The service staff was excellent - extremely competent and knew exactly what they were talking about. The explanations about the meat selection were detailed and informative, so you felt well advised. The meat itself was top quality and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were also excellent and complemented the main course perfectly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and invites you to linger. An all-round successful evening – I can only recommend Theo’s!

Very great food, great location, nice staff.

A nice place to stay with high quality ingredients. Nice service staff. Modern atmosphere. The higher price range is totally justified. Theos is one of the best high-quality steak restaurants in Hamburg. Gladly again . Absolutely recommended.

That steak I had there - top of the top that you can get. Though that waiting time was quiet challenging. Took over an hour to get it served and I was actually about to take that 5th star away because of that but again that steak - perfect! This is def my number 1 spot in Hamburg. But whats also a bit annoying when they get you seated with your partner that close to another couple. So make sure to ask for proper distance to the next table not just an ellbow away...

Most importantly, the food is great! The service is also very good! Furnishings are a matter of taste for me, the many black and white pictures of old American legends and well-known skyscrapers no longer up to date. Unfortunately, the steam from the open kitchen moves into the guest room and into the guests' clothing.

The starter was partly delicious! Surf & Turf great. Shrimps bad taste, unfortunately the service didn't respond to it and thus further proved that they weren't well trained. Plates were delivered with fingerprints. A €155 red wine was not decanted. Main course great! Dessert - (reservation at 6 p.m. on Friday 11/22/24) after the main course we were served the bill straight away! When we asked, we were asked to leave. With a bill of €553 I find that impossible!

Very upscale restaurant. We went here for my friend's birthday. The reservation was at 8:30 p.m. We got there a little early and had to wait at the bar, I didn't think it was that bad. At around 8:45 p.m. we went to the table. We were allowed to order shortly after 9:15 p.m. and the starter came around 10:00 p.m. I actually expected to be out by 10:30 p.m. at the latest so I could move further. Unfortunately, the meal took so long that we went straight home afterwards. As a starter we had the Caesar salad. This was freshly prepared at the table and was super crunchy and delicious. I can highly recommend the salad as a fresh kick before the meat. The steak was super tasty, meat was tender. Unfortunately, the waiter/cook who brought it out was a bit uncaring. Served the meat quickly and distributed everything on the plates. It was very rushed and didn't fit the atmosphere. A bit of a shame. The side dishes were good. We used fries, mashed potatoes and mushrooms (the mushrooms tasted like an Asian pan) but for me the mushrooms didn't go well with the meat.. Overall, maybe worth an idea for a special occasion. The steak tastes very good. The shock came when we saw the bill 😂😅🙈

Our experience was wow...awesome, The food was fenomenal, supper delicious and i love it so much, especially enjoy the fact that we could share it. The waitresses were moving around the clock. The recommended cocktail was so delicious. Everything was so professional and unique. They had the knowledge of what they were doing, which it's nice, and it made your night special. We loved it, enjoyed it, and suggested it further. Definitely, it is worth a try. But it's not cheap, quite expensive, be ready for it.

There were four of us and we all had the Nebraska Rib-Eye. We were very satisfied with the service and the food was perfect. We'd love to come back.

The food was really good, but unfortunately the service was anything but good. After the time in our “time slot” was used up, we had to leave our reserved seats and were only allowed to sit at the bar. That's not how hospitality works. Definitely the last time in this restaurant.

Great class - and a faux pas... Truly a first class steakhouse; Rarely have I had such good fillet of beef; and the side dishes and wines are also completely convincing. Flavor explosions on the palate; That's how you want it. Unfortunately, the restaurant also comes with a certain (or should I say: inappropriate) arrogance. I had a fine jacket over my arm in case the air conditioning system blew cool; They took it away from me with the blunt remark that items of clothing over the chair were absolutely unwelcome. An unnecessarily patronizing start that I have never experienced at other top restaurants worldwide. Too bad.

The food was sensational. I don't care about the service because my every wish was met, but I always had to wait a long time. The ambience is nice, but also very loud, similar to a canteen.

Under the leadership of Chef de Rang Alessandro Collodo and his Chef Levent (whose last name I unfortunately don't know) I experienced a culinary dream. Both are extremely likeable characters and contributed significantly to the excellent atmosphere. As a starter I enjoyed half a lobster tail with soup, accompanied by a crémant. The main course consisted of a perfectly cooked T-bone steak, consisting of fillet and sirloin, served with various delicious sauces and fresh horseradish. There was also truffled mashed potatoes and wild broccoli, accompanied by an excellent red wine. The dessert, a forest fruit sorbet, rounded off the menu harmoniously. The service was first class, and even though I was there alone, I felt very comfortable at my beautiful table. Next to me, a gentleman was celebrating his birthday with his daughter and they warmly included me in their conversation. The atmosphere throughout the restaurant was wonderful. I can fully recommend Theos, regardless of the price. It was an unforgettable experience and a dream come true.

It has been on my go to bucket list for 4 years, and finally tonight I went and my expectations were blown out of the water. Above and beyond in every aspect.

Truly one of the top steakhouses. You can choose your own cut of meat, a wide selection of side dishes, a fabulous wine list, both bottles and open wines. For dessert, cheesecake and optionally a cocktail or desert wine. Very friendly, attentive and qualified staff who give good advice and know what they are talking about. Been there several times and never had anything to complain about.

We had booked a table at 6pm and were then shown to the table at 6:30pm. The restaurant is nothing special and the steak was mediocre for me. I have no idea how to describe the restaurant as great. The Blockhaus Restaurant is definitely better.

The restaurant is beautiful, stylish and simple. I have rarely seen such a beautiful design. The service is more than courteous and attentive. You feel well treated and served attentively from start to finish. The wine and the steak were incredibly delicious. I have never eaten such a well-fried piece of meat. Really terrific. The cheesecake for dessert was also gingerbread. Only the volume was sometimes very high because the restaurant was busy and for me personally the truffle flavor of the truffled potato puree was too strong. However, the Theos Fries and the shitake mushroom mixture should be particularly emphasized and highlighted as incredibly delicious. Thank you for the great evening

Very good service and great food!

We were there for our wedding anniversary. Theo's. As a starter we chose the tartare and a lobster soup. The fillet steak was the main course - perfectly fried. Then there was a little gift for our special day at the house's expense. An all-round perfect evening for us.

From the welcome to the aperitif at the bar to the food, everything was wonderful. Very friendly staff. We felt very comfortable. Absolute recommendation.

The meat (steak) is really phenomenal - but unfortunately the service and side dishes/starters are really only average and sometimes weak. The Theos Fries (French fries) are cheap frozen fries “pimmed” with Parmesan and a little chili powder! Weak!! Service would like to but then doesn't deliver! Wine prices absurd and exaggerated! All in all - once and never again!

We were there for dinner. We got there a little early, so we were seated at the bar first for an aperitif. I strongly recommend a reservation. We had our table very late, at first I thought the restaurant was empty, but despite the late time the restaurant was full (again) in the evening. For starters we had the seafood selection for two. Very nicely prepared and everything was very fresh. I can definitely recommend it if you like seafood and oysters. The steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly. Really just like a NY steakhouse. The side dishes were in no way inferior and were just as good as the meat. Simply outstanding. Since I wasn't in the mood for a sweet ending, I opted for the cheese plate. A large portion with a very good selection of raw milk cheese. I always think it's nice when a restaurant offers something like that. Regarding the service: yes, they were both very friendly, but not always there. It is also noticeable throughout the restaurant that guests in large groups or regular guests are given preferential treatment. This is also noticeable as a “normal” guest. Even if, as in our case, you also ordered an expensive bottle of wine. That shouldn't be the case. The ambience can also be a bit loud depending on the audience. That bothered me. The tables for two are also too close together. I like to eat undisturbed and not necessarily listen to the conversations from the next table. Fewer tables would probably also reduce the noise in the restaurant. Would I go again? Not sure. The food was perfect, but the forum around bothered me that evening.

The steakhouse has a certain charm with the New York style and the service staff/team are always exemplary (I have visited the restaurant several times). Personally, I find the RIB eye steak to be an absolute highlight, fillet steak and filet mignon less so & the side dishes become monotonous at some point. I can also recommend the Caesar salad, which is freshly prepared at the table! Unfortunately, we didn't like all the desserts we tried here and the side dishes of the main courses were always put together.

As always, a very nice evening, this time as a birthday present. After a short wait at the bar because we arrived early, we quickly went to the table. The food was, as always, very tasty and, as always, in a class of its own. The Caesar salad, freshly made at the table, is always a show in itself. Jana served us very courteously this evening and always with a smile on her face and definitely convinced us to come back in a timely manner. Thank you very much for a very nice evening, also for the birthday child with the little surprise at the end.

The food was ok, but one of the side dishes was oversalted, so the staff accepted it without reacting. The nightcap offered was charged extra. Reservation went smoothly. Were warmly welcomed. After a short wait at the bar where we treated ourselves to an aperitif, we were shown to our seat, in the desired area outside. The service was great and accommodating. The meat was cooked to perfection. All in all it was a great evening with delicious food and good service.

Perfect foods but very bad service

A fantastic steakhouse, with great food and attentive service. The steak is absolutely in the foreground and is wonderfully complemented with that certain something, culinary and atmospheric. I first had a beef tartare with a glass of Perrier Jouet Grand Brut, the main course was the rib eye with asparagus, truffled mashed potatoes, brown butter and a glass of Robert Weil Riesling, and as dessert I had the incredible cheesecake with cassis sorbet, which I had with a glass of Esspresso Martini I enjoyed this supplement to the fullest. Splendid.

Once my absolute favorite steakhouse, even beyond Hamburg. Unfortunately, it is only a shadow of its former self. The meat is now tasteless and the side dishes are cold. The service is completely unacceptable. You are served by three or four different people who have no overview of what has already happened. For some parts we had to ask several times. Unfortunately, that's how it was on my last two visits, so I won't be coming back. All in all, unfortunately it's just not worth it for the price.

Food very good - never had such a perfect steak (6/5 stars) BUT the service was not even close to what you would expect in a restaurant like this. Ordered sauce - not delivered with the course. Asked/pointed out and probably forgotten again on the way to the kitchen. Ordered 2nd bottle of wine - asked again after 20 minutes and still no wine. Ordered coffee, asked after 20 minutes and no one knew anything about it. Only ever ran when you spoke to the head waiter. Maybe there should be more training or maybe hire people less based on their appearance...very weak!

Perfectly seasoned and cooked steak. Magnificent lobster. Interesting selection of sides. Reasonably priced for the quality.

Anyone looking for first-class food, service and ambience has come to the right place. Service staff see EVERYTHING and remember everything. Awesome!

As always, a great meal in a great atmosphere. With a nice atmosphere in the Oyster Bar with excellent Sylter Royal, we went to our table, where the service wasn't quite as perfect as I remembered. Friendly and quite competent but without the host gene that gives you that little extra good feeling. The US Prime Beef Porterhouse to share was excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The side dishes are delicious and fairly priced. Dear competition steakhouses - be careful! Here is at the top - this should be the benchmark! By competition I mean steakhouses that charge over €175 for 850 grams of meat. They are well invested here. I don't know that there is anything better within a 500 km radius. The atmosphere is casual, the ambience is typically NY. Criticism? : the NY cheesecake was a bit warm :-) and if you don't like the smell of meat you might feel inconvenienced - the ventilation isn't perfect - but these people probably wouldn't come anyway. Thank you Theo's for existing!

I recently dined in and was very good. The steaks were perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was good they were really busy, I can understand. Highly recommend for any steak lover!

I go to Theos at least twice a year, in my opinion the best steak restaurant in the city. Run by the Block family who are the owners of the Hotel Grand Elysee in Hamburg and the associated chain Block House and Jim Block. Furnished in the style of a NY steakhouse with heavy leather furniture and matching decorations. Service staff is excellently trained, typical of the Block family, and a lot of value is placed here. The food is very tasty, we have now tried all the starters and vary them. The Cesar salad, which is made mise en place in front of the guests, offers a nice show. We almost always take the porterhouse steak to share, dry aged USDA Prime Beef which comes from young Black Angus beef from Nebraska. The flesh tastes lovely, milky sweet and partly floral and grassy. My highlight is the 800°C Southbend Grill, which sears the meat until it's super crispy but leaves it tender on the inside, the meat literally melts in your mouth like butter. Incredibly delicious, a little nut butter and a few side dishes of your choice and you don't need anything else. Tip: come a little earlier and have a few drinks at Theos Bar and slurp away a few oysters.

Great steak!!! Without knowing they brought the food and gave a great presentation. No complaints on the food whatsoever.

We were at Theo's for the first time on Saturday June 29th, 2024. We felt very comfortable from the first minute. The service was very friendly and attentive. The quality of the food was excellent. We had nothing to complain about. We would be happy to come back .

A super cozy atmosphere and excellent food! We always enjoy dining at Theos! This is not only due to the absolute feel-good atmosphere, despite the upscale ambience, but also to the delicious food! I can only recommend the porterhouse steak! It's ideal for sharing. The selection of side dishes was always varied and very tasty!

The waiter asks 2 people what they want, it's the same main course twice with a total of 4 different side dishes and comes back after 30 seconds because he couldn't remember it until he got to the checkout and leans his finger on the neck of the opened water bottle when he asks . Vegetables outstanding, fries too, fillet very below average. Service overall terribly inattentive in the food area.

The lady at the reception made us wait in a fully packed bar with no seatings, while there were plenty of tables ready in the restaurant. This was the only negative thing and the reason for the low rating. Besides that, the service of our waitress was good, and the porterhouse was amazing.

The ambience of the restaurant was simply impressive. The tasteful furnishings and harmonious lighting created an elegant and inviting atmosphere. Every corner of the room was designed with attention to detail and conveyed a feeling of warmth and comfort. The service at THEO'S STEAKHOUSE HAMBURG was outstanding. The staff was extremely attentive and professional. Their expertise and warm friendliness made our visit a special experience. Each of our questions was answered with competence and a smile, and the recommendations were always accurate. The food was the absolute highlight of our evening. The steaks, which were prepared to perfection, literally melted in your mouth and offered an incomparable taste experience. Every side dish and every dish impressed with its freshness and first-class preparation. It was obvious that the cooking here takes place with a lot of passion and craftsmanship. In summary, THEO'S STEAKHOUSE HAMBURG undoubtedly deserves the highest rating of 5/5 stars. It is one of the best restaurants in Germany and offers an unforgettable culinary experience. We can highly recommend it to every foodie and lover of excellent cuisine.

Fine dining in a great ambience. The world-class steaks are cleverly put together with their side dishes. In addition, a very attentive service, from reception to personal table service. Everything tip top.

Very nice and attentive service, good steaks and good drinks. The sides were ok but the focus is on the meat! All in all really good but also a bit expensive. We ate really well but 370 euros was quite a bit. But you also know that before you go to Theo's.

I would have liked to give it 5*, the food definitely deserved it. Among other things, we shared the porterhouse and had both starter and dessert. As I said, definitely worth 5*. Now, unfortunately, the negative outweighs the negatives. Unfortunately, the lady assigned to us from the service "ruined" our evening a little, was arrogant and acted as if we were in the star restaurant and we were the last bums. He ignored us several times and said something stupid when paying: "Yes, if the card is covered..." Unnecessary and not good for sales either. We would have liked to order more drinks, but didn't have a chance. We were a little sad that we got the lady, because the other service staff seemed to be much nicer and to live hospitality more Let's see, maybe it was just bad luck or a bad day, at some point we'll give Theos another chance.

Food great, service poor. We were there for the second time today. On the first try I got an entrecote instead of the New York cut rump steak I ordered. Today the right steak came, but it was almost medium rare (really rare) instead of medium as ordered. And then when asked if this bloody piece of meat is medium rare, the waiter seriously says “you can see it either way”. My wife ordered a 200g fillet steak and got 2 x 80g fillet minion instead. Incredible for a steakhouse that has the mission to be the best in Hamburg. And it has to be said that the store wasn't even remotely full on this rainy Monday. When we were finally able to eat, everything was absolutely delicious. The meat and fries are unbeatable.

If the meat and side dishes had been served at the same time, it would have been good. So that was really a shame. Even really stupid.

I know a few steakhouses, Theo's is one of the top 5 in Germany for me. Had another perfect and delicious evening there this week. The porterhouse was perfectly fried, tasted excellent, and had charming service!

Exquisite steak house! Top of the line steak house with 5 star service. Service was of very high level. As for the steak, the meat was excellent both in quality, as well as in preparation. It may be on the pricier end of options in Hamburg, but this is a high standard meat restaurant able to satisfy even the most demanding meat eaters, especially those interested in Wagyu steaks. Given its atmosphere, the place is recommended for special occasions!

Great restaurant with excellent steaks and seafood. Visited three times now and it was always a culinary delight. Great atmosphere and very good service. 10 out of 10 points.

Arrogant service that in no way paid attention to service... good food otherwise

THEO'S rightly plays in the top league of German steakhouses! From start to finish everything went perfectly. The dishes on offer are worth every euro. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

Four of us were guests on a Saturday evening based on good hearsay. Unfortunately it was way overpriced, the portions were quite manageable and the service was okay. We ate in star restaurants for the same value and were thrilled, but here we were just disillusioned. The dishes were solid, but you can't see them as a taste revelation - the price was not appropriate for any of our dishes. We've had better steaks for far less money. The service was very friendly, but not really attentive. We know this much better from other restaurants. Not worthy of a repeat act for any of us.

Were there as a couple for a business lunch. The ambience was excellent. The food was very good What should be particularly emphasized is the service and your courteous service. Ms. Häveker was responsible for us this evening, Ms. Häveker's recommendations were exactly what we wanted, the service at the table was simply great! The appropriate wine accompaniment left nothing to be desired for the evening, also a recommendation from Ms. Häveker. I can highly recommend it to anyone, for any occasion. Sincerely Kepceoglu

We have never been served so poorly with such good food. Arrogance seeks the same! Especially the person in charge of the restaurant! It's a shame actually. Great hotel and very good cuisine.

The best steaks in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, in the best hotel in the city

To put it bluntly, I've been a customer there since it opened. I've spent a lot of evenings there and I've always been very to extremely satisfied. But last week was disappointing, if not subpar for this restaurant. We were there with 3 people last week. I always first look at the board where the porterhouse steaks that are still available are listed. I said to the waiter who was assigned to us, please reserve the 970g for me. Then came what I found to be a very rude answer: "We don't make reservations here." I've always done that and it's never been a problem. Even if they don't do that anymore, the tone was outrageous We ordered a bottle of wine that wasn't opened at the table, and it was only then that we realized it was a wrong order. We didn't actually want wine, but the waiter said we had to take it now because it was already opened. It wouldn't have happened if the bottle had been shown to the guest before it was opened, as is usual in such a restaurant. The service should have reacted and taken the wine back as a gesture of goodwill, even though it was open. Then the order as I said several starters and different meat orders. Everything was ordered medium, a piece of fillet was supposed to be medium rare and the waiter then said to us: Let's see what level of cooking the meat is at, we'll try it (maybe it should be funny). Meat then came to the table, and everything was English to English minus. Actually cold. inside and outside.! Service didn't know which piece was medium rare. He said if someone had the wrong piece, it would continue to cook on the plate. Really really bad. When I asked another service member, the meat was brought back to the kitchen. What can I say:? That wasn't really that special either. And it wasn't topped up either! We had to do it ourselves. I then told a waiter that we were dissatisfied. He apologized and offered us a "nightcap" which didn't arrive either! Again: I have never been served so badly there, and the food has never been so disappointing and I have been there very, very often, probably 30-40 times. All in all not worth a star to be honest. Unfortunately I couldn't tell Mr. Peter Sikorra because he was probably no longer there. But maybe that was the reason.? So very disappointing when you spend almost 150€ per person. It's a shame, for me it was really one of the best Staekhausen I knew up until that day.!! Dear THEOS........You can do better!

Very good food in a nice atmosphere. I don't give it the fifth star because there is competition from Hamburg that is a bit better.

Best steaks in town...really a taste experience. Service also very attentive. We had a great evening and will definitely be back soon.

Unfortunately it was the last time today and we won't be coming again. The quality has deteriorated a lot and for the prices demanded, all of this is no longer enough. A pity.

I don't need many words here. Great restaurant, super tasty and great service. We were there for our wedding anniversary and were surprised with a sweet greeting from the kitchen. We'll definitely be back.

The store is the biggest piece of crap! Dogs are allowed throughout the entire hotel complex, except in this storage cellar. My dog, as you as dog owners out there probably agree, is worth more than those pathetic, acting-out waiters who have nothing else in their lives. Never again! A rethink is clearly required here!!

The portions of meat are very clear, the side dishes are standard and there are very few. You pay around ~100 euros for steak with fries, for a quality that was standard at Blockhouse about 10 years ago. But only for a fraction of the price and you were very full afterwards. On the whole you can only complain about the prices here, the restaurant seems more elegant than it actually is.

The meat and the service good. The problem was the sashimi salmon starter, which led to 3 days of food poisoning. I wouldn't have expected that from a restaurant like this.

Fillet steak 200 gr. (Scotch) for 44€ really good. Bernaise portion too small unfortunately. Mashed potatoes also very small side dish. Children's portion of "Maya the Bee" only 2 small potato pancakes, far too little for a meal. A pity... I've had better Sylter Royal oysters... The bread and butter served was pretty unimaginative. Wagyu beef is unfortunately the smallest steak, well over 350 grams (so easily over €120). And that's just too expensive for F1 Rib-eye... We still had a good time - that's why 3-4 stars,

This restaurant is just too expensive! When we arrived we were asked to wait in the bar for a moment. Of course we ordered drinks there!!! A glass of wine for me came very clearly (I estimate 0.1 ml.) in an ordinary wine glass. When this was later on the bill at €12 (twelve in words) (and supposedly 0.15 ml) I wished that I had ordered a cola, although I don't know what it would have cost! The steaks are really good and of course very expensive, but quality also has its price... but does that mean the drinks are completely overpriced???

Came here for some steak for an anniversary, and it was great. I don't usually eat meat casually anymore, so it's important than when I do it's great quality. I found the steak was definitely very satisfying, and that the service was quite quick and good. The sides were also excellent. I found it quite warm and a bit stuffy inside on a hot summer evening, but that's a common issue in Germany.

Great service and very good food!

For me the best steak restaurant in Hamburg. Be sure to try the New York Prime.
